Hi,I just want to say I am very willing to up my review to four or even five stars if things improve.Dr. Lin, Claudia and Taylor and Will at front desk have all been very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Yes, sometimes they’re late 10-15 min but I think we’re all human and that is ok in the grand scheme of things. They’re clearly very qualified.I think where things need improving is that the pieces are put together a bit haphazardly. There is almost too much compartmentalization. For example, as a patient I have no calendar of what is going on, I just have received lists via the messaging system.But I think the major weak link is Jessica at billing. She gave us no heads up and apparently the next bill is due with 72 hours notice. She somehow still managed to copy paste mail in directions. Umm, it is too late to put any check in the mail. It was also very hard to drag out of her costs, for example that the transfer is a separate cost. She frequently forgets to attach things completely in her messages. For example, she only sent us an attachment for IVF costs and completely neglected to attach the FET costs page. This is frankly, unacceptable oversight and it brings down the entire team.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend them mostly because of their management and Shady billing practices. There is no reason for them to not bill the insurance first even when we asked them to. They just wouldn’t for whatever reason. But our insurance covered the cost of ultrasound and now have to make more efforts to get refund from them.

Dr. Kat Lin is an exceptional physician who has played a pivotal role in our fertility journey. Her attention to detail and the way she delved into our medical history to explain the reasons behind our previous treatment failures were truly enlightening. Dr. Lins explanations were thorough and left no room for confusion. Leaving a very well deserved 5 star review. Dr. Lin and her entire team (truly, from coordinators to nurses to front desk etc) are incredible. We had a complicated IVF journey as we split our time between Seattle and abroad. Our care team was in constant contact, over multiple time zones, to make sure everything went smoothly. We felt very well taken care of for the entire process, from A—>Z. Big shout out to our amazing coordinators :). And Dr. Lin is an incredibly smart, caring, conscientious doctor.

We are very grateful to Dr. Lin and her wonderful team in Sound fertility care (RMA). We tried to get pregnant for two years, but I didnt get pregnant. In March this year, we went to Dr. Lins clinic for a comprehensive examination. The results showed that my hormone levels were high and I might have polycystic ovary syndrome. Dr. Lin analyzed the report in detail and discussed the treatment plan with us, which give us the right to deeply know about our conditions. After the professional treatment and careful care of Dr. Lin and her team, I got pregnant after IUI treatment only one time. They use ultrasound to monitor your babys growth until the tenth week. They will inform us about dietary matters during pregnancy and recommend some skilled obstetrician and gynecologists. We cannot thank you enough for all you have done for this family. I also highly recommend friends with similar infertility issues to seek consultation and help.

We had a great experience with Dr. Lin and staff. We trusted their use of science and appreciated Dr. Lin and staff’s explanations. I felt the clinic’s IVF science is cutting edge and they reported good probability of positive results for patients. Given the high cost I think that’s important. Our IVF treatment resulted in a viable embryo and pregnancy of which we are very grateful. There are many appointments so be prepared to drive downtown. We were lucky living a few blocks away. They have an online portal for messaging and scheduling. The cost is very high and should be insured but that’s out of the clinic’s control. We were lucky to be able to afford. The pharmacy they use that conveniently delivers some of the medicine and they give you a company that ships meds from turkey at a slightly cheaper cost. We are grateful to have an experienced and talented doctor like Dr. Lin in Seattle to do our transfer procedure as well as a polyp removal procedure. Her and team of nurses paid close individual attention to our wants and needs in order to give us the highest probability of good results. I am forever grateful to Dr. Lin and the wonderful team at Sound Fertility (now RMA). I first went to SF in late 2021 after experiencing my 4th miscarriage. I felt broken but kept going with IVF as my company offered great fertility benefits. I was really searching for a Dr. that would be thorough and open-minded instead of just telling me it was due to my age as I had heard numerous times before. Dr. Lin was the first doctor I’ve ever had that took the time to really look for all potential issues and order in-depth tests. Being armed with new information from these results, I was able to take action. In the next IVF cycle after that, I did a duo-stim which yielded in two euploid embryos – with less than a 5% chance in my age group! While Dr. Lin was always honest with me about my chances, she never gave up fighting alongside with me. She was present with me every step of the way and would try new things to see if we could get to a better outcome. Other clinics would have never worked with me on such a personalized level - and this was the reason for my success.Dr. Lin is an excellent doctor who happens to be extremely caring, open-minded, and stays current with research (which you’d think all Dr’s do but you’d be surprised!). I’ve been so impressed with her level of thoroughness, leaving no stone unturned to maximize success. Her approach is tailored to the patient and does not just follow a recipe like so many clinics do. Believe me when I say it’s been a long and arduous journey with many obstacles, but I am now 12 weeks pregnant as I write this! It’s truly a miracle.What I loved most about Sound Fertility was the intimate feeling at every appt. Having one doctor do all of my care, perform all retrievals and transfers is such a unique experience. You truly feel cared for as opposed to being another number. The team at SF are all so wonderful, responsive and caring! In 2019 Dr. Lin and her team gave us the greatest gift we could ever ask for - our daughter. I received amazing care from Dr. Lin and her team. I know I received tailored care to fit my needs as opposed to a one-size fits all approach. I was able to talk to a nurse whenever I needed to ask questions which was also a comfort. I now has a healthy, happy baby girl!I did find the office was frequently behind schedule so bring a book and be ready to be a little flexible. I just reminded myself that Dr. Lin would give me the time to patiently answer my questions and concerns which would cause schedule delays. Dr. Lin and her staff never hurried me out or made me feel rushed when it was my turn.

I had the BEST experience working the all of the staff at Sound Fertility. I feel like Amber, Katy and Dr. Lin were so sympathetic to all the emotions that come along with fertility treatments. I lived about at hour away while going through treatments and they were so accommodating with setting up appointments. I also love that Dr. Lin didnt go through the motions, but she taught us along the way. We were very involved with decisions and felt very much a part of the team. I was SO sad to say goodbye as we graduated and moved onto our OBGYN after getting pregnant. I felt like we became more than just patients to each of the staff members. I would go to them for every baby if I could. They made the entire experience so comprehensive. I dont think I could thank them enough or recommend them enough for their phenomenal care.

My wife and I are so grateful to Dr. Lin and her whole team for helping us bring our beautiful baby in this world. We are an LGBTQ family and we felt fully respected and supported at Sound Fertility. Dr. Lin is calm and collected, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at what she does. She explained every option and consideration along the way, and listened patiently when we had questions. As for her staff, we had a particularly excellent experience with both Paulinna and Jane, but really the whole team was friendly, helpful, and communicative when we needed anything. Overall we highly recommend this practice.

I highly recommending seeking care with Dr Lin if you are concerned about your fertility and struggling with heavy/painful periods. Dr Lin was instrumental in enabling me to get a endometriosis diagnosis after being disregarded/dismissed from countless OBGYNs and Endo surgeons. Most notably, she helped me advocate for myself and her reputation with other doctors opened doors/reception about my concerns.Because of the endo, I proceeded with egg retrieval procedure which was very successful. Dr Lin was a great cheerleader through the whole process.Note: the process does involve A LOT of visits to blood test and ultrasound checks. Its not for the faint of heart. For you routine visits, you will not generally see Dr Lin, but a medical assistant. I suggest meeting Dr Lin as soon as possible to evaluate is Sound Fertility it the right match for you.

The staff here are incredibly kind and caring. They went above and beyond to diagnose and treat my specific issue. After around a year and a half of hopelessness and no answers we found that my recurrent miscarriages were likely caused by blood clotting issues within just a few months of testing with the clinic. I was put on the proper protocol for me and it worked! I’m currently the furthest along I’ve ever been in a pregnancy (and with a healthy baby!) and I owe it all to sound fertility care. I highly highly recommend this clinic for anybody looking for answers and solutions.

I had recently moved to Seattle when we began looking for fertility doctors. I wasnt sure where to even begin but luckily something about Sound Fertility intrigued me and I called and made our initial appointment and I am so glad that I did. Latasha took my call and was so kind and sensitive about sending me documents and helping me get started through the very convenient patient portal. I forgot my password at least twice and she was always so polite in helping me reset it. I was really anxious and emotional about even going to the first appointment but the entire staff are so professional and supportive. I have never met better nurses in any field at any office and I mean that. These women are amazing. They are kind, they are gentle and they are fantastic at what they do. Amber and Katie have been incredible and I have developed such strong confidence in them. Dr. Lin herself is a rare find. She is a brilliant professional with a bedside manner to match. Over the course of our fertility journey I have had some real struggles. Dr. Lin has always put me and my best interest first. She understands the emotion and the weight of these situations and she considers your feelings as well as your medical situations when advising you along this path. I have never had an appointment where I was not able to see Dr. Lin. She makes time for her patients, she thoughtfully reviews questions and she understands the stress of what youre going through and works hard to help align your feelings and this process so that they may come as close to working in harmony as humanly possible. This infertility stuff is not ever easy, but I have felt as though I found a family in the women at this office and for that I am eternally grateful. I dont know how the other practices in this area work, but I know that you wont find a better doctor than Dr. Lin.

Im here to write a review after celebrating my baby girl turning 6 months! Looking at how fast she grew makes us think back to how quickly our process went when we first came to Sound Fertility and met Dr. Lin. I wrote my happy review on yelp after learning our IVF procedures was a success. Now that Im celebrating my baby being 6 months, my husband and I cant help but talk about wanting more kids already in the future. And it brings us so much joy how much our baby means to our parents. But we cant think of anybody else to trust and turn to besides Dr. Lin. Weve recommended her to all of our friends and family.Im back leaving another review but this time on google because I couldnt help but notice the last review about Dr. Lin knowing nothing about male infertility. I completely disagree! Why I disagree is because we came to Dr. Lin after trying for over 3 years. She immediately found out why we couldnt get pregnant. It was all due to my husbands low sperm count. She was able to see he was missing a chromosome which explains the low sperm count. Dr. Lin was able to discover this because she was knowledgeable in male infertility. We followed her expertise advice and became pregnant within months. We 100% put our trust in Dr. Lin and followed every step to the T. Yes every procedure or step could be an extra cost. But if its recommended, do it. Because what youll get in the end, its more than worth it. I feel so grateful for our little girl. And its all thanks to this incredible team. Sound Fertility will always be embedded into our memories. They gave us a family! Cant wait to be back in a year for our second miracle ❤️

At first, the clinic appeared pleasant; however, some of their staff exhibited unprofessional behavior and treated me more like an inconvenience than a patient. Most of my appointments were either cancelled or delayed, and on one occasion, I was forgotten in the waiting room for almost an hour. Additionally, I witnessed a staff member berating another staff member on two separate occasions. The billing system was also chaotic. The clinic switched their billing system during my treatment and threatened to send me to collections for invoices sent to a portal that I was informed we no longer used, leaving me unaware of owing anything. The clinic charged me thousands of dollars more than the quoted price, and when I raised this issue, the billing staff was impolite and dismissive. To add to my dismay, I am still receiving bills from almost a year ago for services I was told insurance was supposed to cover. This clinics staff exhibited the worst medical care I have ever experienced, and I strongly suggest avoiding this facility if possible.

Where do we even begin singing the praises of Dr. Lin and her incredible team! I won’t go into detail here about our infertility journey but we are eternally grateful to Dr. Lin and her team for their care and attention! I’m 16 weeks pregnant from our first round of IVF at Sound Fertility!!TLDR: Dr. Lin and her team are amazing!!!We found Dr. Lin via a referral from a friend who had great success at Sound Fertility and now has a 4-month-old son thanks to Dr. Lin and the sound fertility team! In an effort to keep this concise and applicable to you (and not fill page after page gushing out how much we love them) I’ll use bullet points: 

Pros:* Dr. Lin is INCREDIBLY knowledgable and has completed (and led) extensive training with top tier practitioners in the infertility field.* Very supportive and responsive team- they do an amazing job of responding to questions and being available to support you through the whole process.* Appointment times are easy to book -especially if you are a morning person- ask for one of the first appointments of the day!* Dr. Lin had a wonderful bedside manner and took wonderful care of us. She truly listened to us always took her time to explain everything to us and ensure that we got all our questions answered.* Personalized approach- Dr. Lin worked with us to tailor her IVF recommendations based on truly getting to know us, our experiences thus far and my medical history (in our case, it was me with the medical issues causing infertility). We never felt like there was a one-size-fits-all mentality or approach.* We were almost entirely out of pocket for out IVF and Victoria (who runs the billing) was delightful to work with- happily jumping on the phone to explain each of the costs associated with this process that we’d never done before and was super patient with us.* They understand most patients pay for IVF out of pocket and have found reputable overseas pharmacies that can help save thousands of dollars. We had no issues using the overseas pharmacies they recommended! There were certain drugs that were safe to order overseas and certain drugs that are best to get from the US further illustrating that they take a very calculated approach to ensuring patient safety while being mindful of cost.Things to know:* They may have a long waitlist- they are SO worth it* You may spend some time in the waiting room if another appointment runs over- they take incredible care and attention of each person! So, if you can do morning appointments you’ll more likely get in and out efficiently

We had such a wonderful experience with the team here. We sought help last year after suffering 3 miscarriages. They ran every test under the sun to get to the bottom of things and let us try 2 cycles before moving on the iui. We conceived on our second cycle and now have a beautiful 2 month old girl. We couldnt have done it without the care and hard work from Dr. Lin and her team!!

We discovered Sound Fertility after moving here from the Midwest. Dr Lin, Paulinna, and her staff provided the most detailed care. They were always so informative and really helped us understand every step. If you’re reading reviews to find a clinic, I could not recommend this more. We are so thankful they came into our lives!

We had terrible experience here. The doctor was frequently late. They once scheduled my appointment and canceled it once i reached there. They ran too many tests without fully educating us. The genetic tests they did were unnecessary. I had to follow up for months with insurance to get them resolved. And their office staff was zero helpful in getting the paperwork for insurance. After dozen followups with their staff, they sent the wrong paperwork to insurance. Insurance wanted proof of why the treatment was medically necessary and doctor’s office did not provide it. Why would they do a treatment that they even can’t provide evidence of medical necessity. I requested to speak to doctor about these issues but it was not honored. I would recommend to avoid this clinic to avoid these administrative hassles.

I did two rounds outside monitor there. I have two points unsatisfied：1. initially，they told me my insurance is in network，I dont need to pay anything. However，I received $150 bill of the so called outside monitor fee today which can not be billed to insurance！Thats unfair to bill me without any pre- notification.2. Patient cannt get the blood test result and ultrasound result directly. This is unreasonable. Patient should have rights to know their health condition！I would not come here. If you need outside monitor，I would recommend First Step instead.

Dr Lin claims to have a male infertility focus; do not believe this. After doing only a blood test on my husband, she said nothing could be done for his low counts, that nothing really can be done for men.After 7 months of her changing her medical advice every time we visited (without being able to explain why--it was like she forgot whatever she said last); double, triple, and even quadruple billing for the same procedures (thank you, Aetna, for catching); months of billing avoiding my calls to try to resolve; and NO after hours or weekend hours that they promise for established patients, we left to another local clinic.After our very first consult at the OTHER clinic, my husband was referred to a true male infertility specialist. Within 5 minutes of seeing him, my husband was diagnosed with a TREATABLE condition that apparently something like 40% of men with infertility problems have.Leaving Lin and her staff was the best decision we made. Paullina was the only bright star there.

I have been a patient of Dr Lin for more than a year now and my experience has been great. She is very knowledgeable, very kind and compassionate. I am in the healthcare profession myself and she is one of the most learned providers I have come across in my entire career.

I was a patient with Dr. Lin and her team and I am so happy and grateful that I have found them. Dr. Lin is extremely knowledgeable, committed and compassionate. I always knew what is going on, they always made time for me and truly cared about me. I cannot recommend enough!

The doctor is great, the staff is absolutely worthless. We paid in full when billed, and a hefty amount at that. We had our twins, they are more than two years old now, then we get a call from a collections agency we owed money and were sent notifications and emails. When asked to reproduce the correspondence so we can see where we missed anything given we have all of our records, they denied the request and said they werent required to do so and we were out of luck. Pay tens of thousands of dollars on time only to get a bill years later, no explanation and no callbacks upon requests to try and pay our bill.

Dr. Lin and staff took what seemed like an impossible situation and turned it into the biggest joy I’ve ever known. My family is eternally grateful for their care and support.

Dr. Lin and her staff (Katie) are amazing! I traveled from Yakima just to see her. I found her when searching for an IVF doctor. She discovered I had been misdiagnosed and corrected the issue and helped us conceive our beautiful baby girl! I will definantly be going back once we decide to try for #2. Also be patience with them if they are slow to respond. Be diligent and just call again. She helps SO many people and they are only human so things sometimes get missed. She is definantly worth the wait and any trouble you go through to get in contact. 😀

I originally went to another popular fertility clinic and they pushed for IVF right away. My doctor at this other place kept saying that my husband and I should be able to get pregnant on our own. Obviously, we werent getting pregnant on our own and thats why we were there. After 6 months of trying with this clinic, I decided to try Sound Fertility on a referral from a client.First call with the front desk, they were able to give me options that the other clinic had not given me. They wanted to use IVF as a last resort too, which meant that our ideas were in line. Dr. Lin and her team, especially Paulina, were amazing. Everyone was super helpful all the time, always professional and clean. Dr. Lin was able to pin point why we werent getting pregnant and within 30 days from our first visit, she got us pregnant!!We gave birth in January 2020 and now have a beautiful healthy baby girl thanks to Dr. Lin and her team. We highly recommend Sound Fertility and will come back when we are ready for baby #2.

Sound is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to what we wanted and helped us get to our goal the way we wanted to.
