Extremely professional and well run. The donor pictures, history, interviews, and genetic testing were helpful. My wife and I have 3 children from donors who may be willing to meet the children after 18 years of age. Our children also might be connected with their diblings. We tried another sperm bank and had an awful experience- they shipped the vial and confused the buyer (me) with the recipient (my wife). Seattle Sperm Bank was better equipped to navigate all avenues of the process.

The details provided helped me pick the best choice for me. I had a healthy pregnancy and now the best results I could expect. I still have enough embryos available with just 1 order. It will depend a lot on the mother and the health but the sperm they use they make sure is very healthy for us to use.

They tell you anything and everything they want so that you buy from their bank. We ordered 8 samples in order to complete our family with these, but we have 2 too many. The gentleman told me that it was possible to take them back for 50% of the price but be careful, this is not true. I had them sent to my fertility clinic since he told me it had no impact. Here I am with a loss of almost $3000!!! This will be the last time I do business with them and dont get fooled

Excellent experience! Was worried that our sample would not arrive in time, but it did. Our sample arrived well packaged, and it only took one try of IUI and we have a beautiful baby girl.

As other reviews point out, SSB is quick to take money but will never refund voluntarily (The transaction will need to be disputed through your bank to obtain a refund). Their guarantee is meaningless and otherwise worthless as they will never refund a penny of your money, like an ethical and honest company would. You will need to dispute the transaction with your bank when they fail to deliver as advertised. Dont waste your time or energy with this unethical company. There are better options available!EDIT to Reply to SSB:False advertising is a form a fraud. The chargeback was requested after you refused to refund and needed to conduct an investigation re your low quality product test results. Replacement issued was no different. You are at NO LOSS because you demanded I withdraw my claim with my bank and I did and provided the letter re the same to Courtney M. You are either ill-informed or blatantly lying. Either way, you are wrong. You got my money for a premium product that was below the minimum standard. I hope you learn from this and treat others better.

They made the process very simple. We were able to see all the genetic information, which put our minds at ease. Being able to hear a voice recording of our donor really put the human aspect into all of this. It wasn’t just like making a simple purchase. This is rough for anyone, finding a donor for your potential child; But they answered any questions we had and it felt not as scary. I feel truly I had a bad experience with this sperm bank. I feel anybody who ever is expecting their money back don’t never get your hopes up high. You are best going to a different sperm bank this sperm bank put you through so many loops. I literally been fighting for my refund for 90 days and got no luck …Remind you it’s already hard enough for people who are trying to go through the process for IUI . They are quick to take your money then say no refunds , you will have to do a buy back which is not fair they’re keeping 50% of anybody money . Seattle Sperm Bank (like most of the big cryo banks) is simply out to make a profit. They claim to have a 25 family limit, but we have since found out that the limit is actually only for US families, but SSB sells their donor sperm to families in other countries as well. This means that the 25 family limit is not only meaningless (and wildly deceptive when choosing SSB in the first place), but international families are unable to register through SSB connect, meaning that there is no means of tracking donor siblings or making connection to international donor siblings.Not only that but it is also worth noting that they do not truly validate health information and the genetic panel they provide only tests for a minor fraction of potential genetic conditions.

My wife and I used SSB to conceive our son. We bought 2 vials with a donor that would later help us conceive our son. This was after 3 failed IUIs with 2 different donors. No concerns with SSB except for their buyback policy, especially when I can still pay for storage AND the donor still has vials for purchase (like 30). We purchase 2 vials in January of 2022 since my wife was starting the process of starting IVF treatment. She had to undergo months of testing, followed by months of medication before egg retrieval, we missed 2 cycles due to low egg count. Her eggs were retrieve at the end of July and our transfer was done on August 16th of 2022. Our fertility and OBGYN doctors advise we would need to wait at least a year after our son was born to conceive again. Within that year, we decided that we did not want any more children, by this time it had already been 24 months. I’m a little leery that the vial will be destroyed and not sold, as we have requested. Again, we were aware of this policy, but given time this process took, there should be some exceptions - especially if you’re giving customers the option to store for years AND the donor has a significant number of vials still available.

Good customer service and good donors. Like some using a sperm bank, this is a trying time in your life. Cycle after cycle, try after try. Donor running out, trying a new donor, ect. all in the middle of the pandemic. We always got our tanks in a timely manner. When we were doing it at home with a midwife, it was simple to have it sent to our home. But the two big things that we really appreciated SSB was after we went to a clinic. I had to switch my donor due to a medical issue and they assisted me with this, quickly and with no hassle. Second, our donor had not been tested for as many things as I had, and I had a genetic thing the donor hadn’t been tested for. The sperm bank called the donor and (with a fee from us) were able to get the donor to go get blood work, within 24 hrs. We would have missed our trigger shot and the whole cycle if both SSB and the donor hadn’t been kind, quick and helpful. Good prices, good customer service and speedy.

I asked for a refund as you can clearly see I haven’t used your service and not plan to use it if I can’t discard people who had jabs. I am not asking for the vaccination status. I was asking for the Covid shots who are not vaccines, but DNA modifiers who never prevented anyone from getting Covid.The elegant stance here is to give me a refund because you can’t take advantage of my premium access pass to further your lies. Everywhere in the world if someone is not happy with a service in the first day if use, a refund is granted. It is not about $100.00. It is about the sneakiness and lying.I kindly and politely contacted you by email three times before someone dignified to answer me. I’m good when you take my hard earned money but not good when you have to either give me what I purchased or refund the money?I must be in the minority here, but would like to know if others experienced the same situation.I purchased an ultimate/deluxe whatever membership after reading on their website that they provide medical info on the donor including genetic testing among other medical info.I found a donor and wanted to purchase few units on the condition that the donor not having had the Covid shots (mRNA) which are known to cause severe alterations to the DNA of the donor.We were told that they will not disclose that information although they have it. Their reason is “the privacy of the donor”. Mind you, they tell you if he had mono or herpes but refused to tell us the most crucial part of information which is if our baby will die of cancer. That is one risk nobody in their right mind is going to take. The information and peer reviewed studies are out there, freely available. The effects of the rMNA shots in a baby are devastating and for life.I requested a refund, given that we cannot use their website without being able to filter their samples by their vaccination status and they categorically refused.Don’t let yourselves conned into this, unless you want low quality genetically modified sperm.

This place is a scam. They dont have a sufficient donor list and they will not give a refund. Just try the other places. These people are unsympathetic and heartless. They will take your money and leave you spermless. This review is based on my wifes experience so please dont bother responding.

1. Dont believes the 25-child limit (which SSB says only applies to the US anyway). SSB doesnt know how many children are born from the vials they sell. They take the donors off the website once they sell to a certain number of Americans-I think its 100 but Im not sure. However, I have seen at least one donor re-appear on the public site after being told they were limited to siblings-only. SSB also exports a lot (they are/used to be the European Sperm bank, I think) and they have a branch in Canada. As with every other sperm bank in the US beyond The Sperm Bank of California (a non-profit), expect that they will sell every vial they get. And one donation is multiple vials. Do not believe any published donor limits from SSB (or xytex, or fairfax, or california cyrobank) with the exception of incredibly expensive and rare exclusive donors they sometimes offer. I expect most donors from SSB to have at least 50 US diblings and 100 or more total (assuming that the donor agreed to export, which I think they need to agree to.) I dont have the actual numbers on this, of course, but then again, neither does SSB, who relies on the recipients going out of their way to report the pregnancy/live birth. More than 100 if the donor was someone who donated for years.2. SSB is not always forthcoming. For example, one donor was actually the brother of another donor who donated at SSB, years earlier. This was not disclosed, at all, in any of the information about the newer donor-not in the staff impressions, not in the interview, not in the profile. This is a great disservice: you can no longer assume that a future romantic partner of your off-spring is not biologically related based on them being born before the donor donated. It also means there are a lot more bio-relatives who used this donor and his brothers, and most people have concerns about family limits. I have seen Xytex disclose brothers being donors openly and prominently. It is sad that SSB chose to hide this fact.3. Other than that, everyone I encountered with was pleasant. The standardized interview questions were helpful in comparing.Update: since I wrote this review, SSB has introduced family slots where, for a price (currently $700), you can pay for the privilege of buying sperm (and being only one of 25 US families to be able to do so for a specific donor.) SSB has gotten a lot of flack for this- especially since they have said repeatedly in the past that they limit it to 25 US families anyway, but I would have paid extra for it. Of course, I assume they are still exporting sperm to Australia, Canada, Europe, maybe South America, and those are subject to only the respective countries limits. Still, its a step in the right direction.

Seattle Sperm Bank was easy to use and helped us grow our family! We had our little boy in 2021 and are now awaiting arrival of his little brother/sister in January of 2025!

Buyer Beware! Seattle Sperm Bank sells inferior sperm at a premium price. Their promised standard of at least 10 Million motile sperm per IUI vial as advertised online is patently false. The test results of my sample scientifically demonstrate a faaaar lower count of less than 3 Million motile sperm that I purchsed from Seattle Sperm Bank. That is a HUGE discrepancy---more than 3X LESS motile sperm than their minimum standard and guarantee. My reliance of Seattle Sperm Banks misrepresentations and connection to the clinic i have been working with has cost A LOT of money including low quality sperm, storage fee , shipping and handling fees, IUI fee etc.

I have used them several times and they were always extremely helpful when I needed to speak with them. All this vials I ordered also had higher counts than anticipated which was great. Will for sure use them in the future

Seattle Sperm Bank was the place our Fertility Clinic spoke highly about and I’m so glad we went with them. Although it took us over a year to get pregnant, Seattle Sperm Bank was always so friendly and answered any questions we had. All the information with the donors; the pictures, audio interviews was perfect! We will be coming back with our second child in the future :)

My journey began in 2017 with Seattle after three different donors. Finally in 2019 after 5 IUIs we got pregnant! ( Hence the 3 stars)…. At this time we were lucky enough to purchase vials for one of the only Black donors available. However since then I have not seen a Black male listed who parents are both Black. ( Just in case you are looking, Seattle is not the place). Fast Forward to help those who have siblings PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save your money and purchase sibling storage at $400.00 for 2 years or $800.00 for 5 years. This information was NOT provided to my family and Alexis says they EXPECT families to see this information online or ask about storage discounts. I myself have always paid over the phone and as a client with a reported birth on file that had vials in storage for the same donor. I assumed that basic customer service would provide this information particularly to returning customers. NOPE however they are happy to continue to accept your money as you over pay for storage.It would be ideal for Seattle to understand the impact of interpersonal communication and why exchanging information with clients is important.

I switched to this bank after using another popular bank, and I could not have been happier! Im so glad I switched and I love Seattle Sperm Banks customer service so much. I am on the east coast, and shipping can be tricky. We had an issue shipping my first vial, I believe it was bad weather along the route, and my first vial got ruined. SSB shipped me another one right away, to not waste a cycle, and to make sure I got what I had ordered. I really do not believe my first bank would have done this for me, or anything like it. I love SSB and recommend it to everybody!

After 5 non-successful attempts with another agency, we switched, resulting in a successful pregnancy/birth. Reasonable prices (insanely expensive, but very competitive considering the going rate). I appreciate we were able to complete all our ordering online, and when there was a slight issue I was able to email rather than call, unlike the company we had previously used.

I decided to use Seattle SB after a lot of research. I liked their donor selections, the fact that they were open donors, the amount of information shared about the donor (while still keeping things private for the donor) and the ease of ordering and delivery. I wish I could give more stars! My experience from beginning to end was phenomenal. I went through IUI treatments a total of three cycles, SSB was my third try (used two other cryobanks). The process with SSB was the easiest and every time I called, they were always nice and answered every question I asked. The donor that I chose, his “numbers” were impressive (words that the staff at the fertility clinic used). I now have a very healthy, beautiful baby girl! I’m so grateful and I thank SSB for making my dreams of being a mom come true! Definitely recommend!

Horrible!!! Dont get bothered to even deal with anything with them. They are there just to take your money via vial having nothing in it to storage to delivery. I was looking into their website to begin and selected a donor. I was quick to jump and placed an order. Also ended up paying storage. I had few months in between till the specimen was delivered. In the meanwhile every two weeks I used to go on to their website and to my dismay this particular donor always used to come back. In my calculation there were around 450+vials marketed and sold. I called them up, emailed them but got only one reply that they were waiting for that particular donor to finish 25 families. What is the logic of selling 450+ vials and not achieving 25 births yet? I still questioned them and kept getting same reply.Nevertheless the time came, sperms were delivered after a lot of confusion since I extended the time paid for it and that was not taken into account either. After that sorted, I was prepared time in my ovulation everything was perfect until we had the specimen checked and guess what, we paid over $1500 for nothing. Its a shame that these people get away with running on such bad business ethics. Highly disappointed. We lost out on money, our very important time and our hopes.

SSB has been the best to work with. The simplicity of navigating their page to ordering vials made our choice in using SSB so easy. We already deal with a lot of expenses in the process of getting pregnant. SSBs fee for viewing donors is unmatched. We got access to everything that was important to use when searching for a donor. We highly highly recommend using SSB when looking to find a donor. The shipping was hassle free and very timely. They sent us updates on delivery which took the worry away from us in making sure our vials got to our doctors office. Finding a donor can be overwhelming but I feel like SSB gives you access to just the right amount to search for without making you go too crazy. They also provide updates when a donor restocks.I say all this to say we love SSB!

Not recommended if you are searching for donors of minority background. You will find that they lack in their minority inventory. You will have to pay upfront to see baby photos of limited ethnic selections and that access cost is non refunded. Other websites provide the very basic baby photos but this website does not especially if you are searching for minority ethnicity.

HORRIBLE:After spending $50 to just see the donors baby photos when compared to California Cyrobank which baby photos are free. We come to find out that:1) Theres not many donors available maybe around 50? Maybe only 5-8 over 6 feet tall.2) THIS IS A BIG ONE!!!! A lot of the donors have a lot of health issues. One donor every single grandparent and mother has had some sort of cancer. Thats ridiculous. They need to have a better health standards.3) We needed Clinic release forms for an at home insemination4) Customer service is horrible and tried to speculate that because I question the clinic release form because I am not working with a clinic, hence the at home insemination they automatically speculated that I dont have health insurance????5) I have had 3 friends use this site, three friends that dont know one another but all their babies kinda look the same. Maybe because of the insufficient amount of donors.I am going to request a refund and will NEVER USE this site.

I love that this is a business that supports every family and individual that wants to have children of their own! My partner was a sperm donor at this clinic before we met and I wanted to add that I think it would be great if they added a sibling registry for donors that have kids. We wouldn’t be opposed to connecting our kids with their donor siblings while they grow up and we’ve researched that other clinics will let their donors register themselves and their kids if they’d like. It’s becoming increasingly more common for donors and their families to opt into being known sooner rather than later and we’d love for that to be an option. ❤️

Very easy to navigate the website. Customer service was excellent the few times I needed to call.

Spent $50 last only to find out with in a few minutes that there were no black donors available. They had one mixed donor and that was it. Immediately sent an email asking to cancel the subscription and no response. I tried calling a few times today and it would have me on hold for 5 minutes and then disconnect. Before you sign up you should be able to know if they even have what it is you’re looking for.

My child died in my arms a couple months ago and I learned another child died in 2019 of a similar condition from donor Sanford (brother Jersey( but it was withheld without because they said it wasnt genetic. I asked what genes were tested and then genetics counselor said they didnt review the tests but extensive testing was done, then Angelo told my mother no tests were performed. Howe would they know if they never gather per their policy. To make matter worse they wont test now and I was informed that the brother Jersey is a carrier of hereditary fructose intolerance which they also never tested the donor for. (verified in emails and on the phone) Seattle will not show any FB reviews right now just to ensure mine arent up but I posted links on yelp. Enough said. Negative infinite stars. Update: Alexis - Aidan is dead he doesnt have a doctor (can you grasp this??) so he cant order in another state for your donors it would be illegal. Your policy was to review the case from 2019 he cant order on a case he has no information on. Are you saying your policy is to have the doctor of a dead child make orders on a case from 2019 he has no data on in another state????? So when fredrick said your policy was to review the case from 2019 and investigate he is lying. I get it now. More babies in the NICU…wonder when SSB will stop hurting children.

I was disappointed at first by not seeing adult photos but I do understand why. I was able to get a refund and the customer service got back to me ( definitely check your junk email). This is a hard process to find the “perfect donor” but customer service is very good! They definitely changed my outlook !

We only ordered our sample a couple of weeks before our iui and even so everything went smoothly! After a year and a half of trying with multiple fresh known donors with no success, even though I have been tested for everything and my donors had semen analysiss done that were great, it still wasnt working. But after only one iui with one vial from Seattle Sperm Bank it finally happened! And much better prices that made it possible for us to do this! Im very happy!!

After purchasing the three month membership and getting on the site I noticed there were no adult photos available. I was only registered for less than five minutes and emailed the company asking for a refund because I would not be using a donor site without adult pictures available. They responded that no refund would be available. I just think that information should be more accessible in case people find that of importance, so double check donor sites before you use them

After being pregnant and delivering my son passed away. I that learned that a donor Sanford (brother Jersey) had a previous death with genetic connections never investigated and death was not disclosed. I son died as well due to genetic complications and would not have transferred if I knew a baby died in 2019 of very rare brain disease.After a number of email I learned that donor Sanford other child that died of a condition called “holoprosencephaly.” 1. I learned the baby never passed away as previously stated; Seattle wouldn’t confirm if the abortion was spontaneous. 2. I learned that Seattle never saw any genetic results so I can’t be told what was tested or not just that “the mother was moving on” this is different then they tested and there wasn’t a genetic component. Not even a doctor can say something is not genetic without reviewing the results. 3. I asked if the could investigate now and they said their policy was to ask my dead sons doctor for a referral to test the donor. I said this is different the original investigate guidance which you never did. I didnt get an answer back maybe Alexis or Fredrick could reply below? I learned today although on FB and Linkedin Seattle says they are accredited through the American Tissue Bank Association they are not. They are misusing the trademark on those sites they buy ads on to target young men like Sanford and his brother Jersey. AATB said their lawyers would be in touch with Seattle. Also learned the brother Jersey is a carrier of a genetic disorder called Hereditary high fructose intolerance from 2020 but it wasnt communicated to anyone who used the donor like I did in 2021 and the donor wasnt tested. Update: Alexis - Aidan has passed away he doesnt have a doctor (can you grasp this??) so he cant order in another state for your donors it would not be possible in the world. So you will be waiting forever unless Aidan comes back to life and his doctor then moves moves to Washington State. Your policy was to review the case from 2019 and order genetic testing based on your review with those doctors. Your family doctor was to look at the connection to the brothers sperm you are selling. How can Aidans old doctor be responsible for this? His license wouldnt cover it. You have lied and shifted your CEOs policy before saying you would run an investigation and had genetic counselors that would work with your family doctor. You can read what Fredrick you CEO wrote on Yelp. But know Aidan cant have a doctor if he is dead so you should stop waiting.

Edited my previous review to reflect that I received an email back from a Supervisor a few days after I emailed them dissatisfied with my experience , she was very empathetic and addressed most of my concerns which I appreciate . Bottom line they have great quality sperm, I got pregnant doing IUI on my first cycle . They really ought to retrain or cut ties with some members of their customer service team but at least Alexis knows how to handle these situations .

I just had a blast with speaking with Roxy ( my island sister) when I tell you she walked me through the process the steps the time frame the shipping answered all my questions put all my words to the side I knew right there and then this is the facility that I wanna work with she was very knowledgeable very upbeat I can literally feel the smile and her voice it felt like I had a cheerleader in my corner cheering me on as we all know this is not an easy process to go into it alone but when I tell you she made the transition so smooth easy was very informative and just kind of put my anxiety to rest she really needs to be applaud. It’s very rare that you interact with someone that puts a smile on your face and not only has an outstanding customer service but is very diligent in their work and literally is keeping you positive and answering all your questions and not filling a rush if you’re looking for a place to go I would definitely recommend this facility just based off their customer service interaction thank you Roxy for your positive outlook on life and your encouragement I really really thank you for making my decision so much easier now.

Terrible company on every level. Took money and held product hostage until I provided needless paperwork. Refused to refund, so wouldn’t ship or allow the return until they had the paper work. Shipped early/on the wrong day. After package arrived early, they demanded it be returned within a week of THEIR ship date, rather than when it arrived. So it was early and basically needed to be used immediately and return, even though their letter said tank was good for 2 weeks. Customer service blatantly lied on the phone, claiming federal guidelines and legal requirements that were not true. So, to sum...1. Poor policies2. Barriers to single women3. Money Grubbing4. Incompetent for even basic things like shipping5. LiarsDo not use!

SSB was always so helpful with any questions we had about vials, storage, or shipping. They communicated fast and efficiently with us. Our vial IUI counts were amazing and helped get us pregnant on our very first attempt. They also offer sibling storage which is way more affordable than most other banks. We are so happy to have future vials in storage with them and most importantly have a beautiful baby on the way! Thanks SSB!

For fives years Seattle Sperm bank knowingly posted they were part of the AATB when they were not. Owner Greg Moga is quoted on the BBB as saying AATB was accredited and licensed by AATB until 2017. SSB has continued to follow and confirm to AATBs Standards and Directives since 2017 (which is impossible since they are secret to member) but have chosen not to pay the large fees to maintain licensure. (they were also never licensed but accredited).

This place is absolutely top notch fantastic. The staff is always very friendly and very very helpful. I really enjoy everyone that works here and the establishment itself is impeccable. They recently renovated and the additions they made makes this place even better then it already was. Seattle Sperm Bank provides very high quality service and I cant say enough good things about them. Thanks for being awesome guys!

I used them for donor sperm. I used another sperm bank for six unsuccessful home inseminations, and my doctor was shocked I wasnt pregnant because on my end, everything looked great. I switched to Seattle (because I saw a lot of successful reviews) and an IUI and got pregnant on the first try. I cant say whether it was the bank or the procedure, but I can say the IUI nurse commented on how great the numbers were for my sample. Their additions (baby pictures, audio sample) are also reasonably priced. My one hesitation is that they dont test specifically for MTHFR--because I have a deficiency, I was looking for a donor without it--but thats very specific and questionable, so that doesnt affect my rating. If I were doing it again, I would definitely start with them.

Our experience as of late, thanks to both Scarlett and the director, have been positive. We had been frustrated for months, waiting for our donor to complete a blood test. He had moved out if the area. Scarlett understood our frustrations, actively assisted the process, and also guided us toward another potential donor. There are multiple highs and lows along this journey, and we are so thankful for the kindness that we received.

2.5 years of trying..... 6 ICIs, 5 previous IUI, and I was considering IVF, but I wanted to try one more IUI and pregnant first IUI and cheaper and better quality sperm than Fairfax Cryobank and I am 35 and a half years old, have a thin uterus, and undiagnosed infertility. Customer service was very helpful, and I am a very picky person with my fertility. I used metformin and clomid....finally worked, and I had tried these medicationss previously and nothing. I really feel it is the quality of the donors and most detailed descriptions of donor, and most are open ID.

I purchased an IUI vial for this cycle and went in for my IUI yesterday. The nurse that was going to do the insemination kept commenting on how great the specimen looked and that the post thaw count was 21 million. I didnt believe her and she gave me the paperwork from their lab.. I was in complete shock because i was expecting no more than 10 million. I will certainly be using them in the future.. This review is an update from a review 3 months ago. My situation was resolved as a member of SSB reached out and returned my membership fee. I appreciate the follow-up to my review from SSB.

I purchased the 3 months access pass after hearing good things about the site , only to get into the site and see very very few choices of what I’m looking for , and no adult photos of the ones that’s were available which isn’t clear before you purchase . $50 is a lot to lose during this already expensive process.

I am not sure people here hate their job or just hate me. The entire experience is cold and even hostile. I think robots would done a better job than the pathetic people working there. The facility is clean though. In total, two stars.
