Went there today to have a routine STD screening. Check in was easy via a sign near the front desk w/ QR code that takes u to the HealthVana website where u click ‘agree’ on a few forms. The screening itself went smoothly. One thing i want to note is that on Tuesdays, STD screening hrs are from 12p -2p. I gave feedback to the staff regarding this and they said that they will update the website to list those hours and hopefully on google as well.

Always a pleasant experience here. They are professional, kind and genuine. Jamie is absolutely my favorite; shes incredibly personable and sometimes my therapist LOL, but most of all she is great at what she does. Theyre 100% accommodating and listen to all of my needs. Anthony at the front desk is always so kind and on top of his game. I was sad to see Janna Cuneo go as she was incredibly knowledgable of trans related care, but Halima has been a great addition. :)

My PCP at AHF was Halima Hassan, and while the staff is nice, unfortunately I have to say that this is the worst health care experience of my entire life.I was recently (2021) notified of negative test results. Two weeks later, I was told that those results were actually positive and had been misinterpreted. In that time, I exposed 1 person. In 2020, I received a positive result, but was administered an outdated antibiotic treatment for the infection, after which I assumed that I was clear. I had to be tested/treated 2 more times during a period of two months to finally receive doxycycline, the current recommended treatment. The partners I exposed during this period were a direct result of inadequate disease management by AHF.The ineptitude around STIs at a queer-oriented health clinic is dumbfounding to me. Do not entrust your health or the health of your partners to the staff here.

Mental Health Is NOT A PRIORITY! 5 stars for incompetence! Also ~ Make Absolutely Sure ~ IF you dont want to be outed in any way ~ choose not to get mail from this organization! 2 violations of HIPPA! Swept Under The Rug!I dont know who Edgar is , in LA Puente, CA. But ~ I do know that he is poz! I got a letter ~¤with name and address ~ In Washington State!A mailer was also sent out to Current Resident ~ which my landlord opened and was outed by AHF .Be Prepared to not have a provider at any given time! They cant keep staff. 3 providers in as many years. Or less. Was the same in Texas. Cutting Edge ~ is fluff. The clinics are old and rundown.Very Very Unprofessional!!!
