Quest Diagnostics Skokie

Some years ago I went for a drug test as I started a new job, at a different Quest diagnostics site. It was questionable. But this location was really nice, and a lovely fall view too being on the 8th floor in Skokie. I had seen the doctor on Thursday and that evening I was trying to see if I can schedule an appointment for Friday morning on their website. I got the 8:45 AM appointment, to my surprise and joy. I came a bit early around 8:30 AM, after doing all the registration including insurance information online the tonight before. They took me in right away; to my surprise nobody was waiting yet. The lady was amazing - don’t know the last time someone was so skilled even though the veins were hiding a bit since it’s cold outside. Didn’t even feel the needle, and I’m no fans of needles! I was set and ready to go before my appointment time came - I loved the quality and efficiency of the place!

The phlebotomist used a private head scarf which was not covered by a lab coat or other clean garment. The headscarf hung down into the area she was drawing blood from. I lodged a formal complaint with Quest about the lack of sterile procedure, but never received as much as an acknowledgment of my complaint. Surprised and disappointed at the phlebotomist’s and the company’s lack of professionalism.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Staff is extremely rude...Front receptionist couldnt be bothered to speak to any patients. Really Sad.

I have been going here for 10 years. Make an appointment for faster service. It is clean and they are very professional.
