Been seeing Dr Lyons for almost 2 years now, and had major surgery earlier this year. Never fond of going to the doctor, let alone facing a surgery that I knew Id have to have years ago. I always go to Chicago for any surgery, after a mishap with local doctor for another issue - so yeaah, it was not easy in the beginning to see him. He was highly recommended by 2 friends, and I can see why. Hes an excellent and highly skilled surgeon, great with communication and addresses all of your concerns in details. Even my friend who is a doctor in Canada was much impressed too, when I told her about my experience. While the office management can be improved, dont let it be a primary factor of your visit. After a surgery mishap by another local doctor, office management is a non issue, as long as the doctor is very skillful.

Dr. Lyons is a good dr, very knowledgeable, caring and good listener. However, his front desk staff/phone receptionist are very disorganized and are simply clues. I always struggle to get any messages to his office due to lack of front desk/phone receptionist experience. Every time I call Im put on hold for a long time and messages are not sent correctly to provider. This is very frustrating and very difficult for my treatment plan.

Dr. Lyons is such an excellent doctor. He has treated my mom for at least 20 years and is now treating me for stage 3 endometriosis. He listens to my concerns and questions. He takes everything I say very seriously and has never once left me feeling like I was left in the dark about anything. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Lyons is a doctor that truly cares about your well being. He has an incredible staff that goes out of their way to help you in any way that they can. Doctor Lyons is in high demand and will answer and correct things that other doctors can not

Dr. Lyons is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and courteous. He took his time in every step of the surgery process to ensure optimal healing with minimal downtime. I am very grateful.

I was recommended to him after having a not so pleasant experience with my assigned OBGYN. He was amazing. We spent 3hrs in his office on my first visit. Answering questions, talking to us, and doing my exam. Not to mention explaining things to me. He took the time to listen to us and help me. He is a great physician. I will most certainly recommend him in the future.

I heard so many good things about Obstetrician gynecologist in South Bend, Indiana. A few of my colleagues and some family members high recommend them. Unfortunately my experience with them was NOT good. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and nice. The doctor that I seen was horrible. He seemed to be in a rush. I felt as though he really didn’t care to help me with any of my questions or concerns. He just kept saying he couldn’t help me and that I need to see a fertility doctor. He ordered blood work and was supposed to refer me to a fertility doctor. I still have yet to hear from anyone with the results of my blood work or about the refer. I’ve called twice the first time I was told that all the blood hadn’t came back and to call back in a few days. A week later I called and to get my results the receptionist took my information and told me that someone should get back to me later on in the afternoon. And here we are two weeks later and I still haven’t heard back from anyone. In my opinion this office has a lack of communication with their patients and they are extremely unorganized. I have decided NOT to go back I’ll be looking for other obstetrician gynecologist in the So.Bend area.

Office staff is incompetent and inefficient. Wait times for appointment are excruciatingly long. Its been an hour and no sign of being seen. An 8:15 a.m. appointment was made to avoid long wait times. This is a disappointment as Dr Lyons was highly recommended. My advice to the public, find an alternate physician.

Dr. Lyons saved my life 9 years ago. I went to him because I had a cyst which wasnt anything at all but he saw cancer cells in another area and sent me to an oncologist right away. I had cancer of the Vulva. I had surgery to remove the cancer. I have been cancer free for over 8 years now!

Dr. Lyons is a fabulous listener and very skilled in his field! Best bedside manner around!

I saw the NP and she was excellent, she spent a lot of time with me and listened to all of my concerns! Great customer service!
