As a 55 year old woman, you would expect that perimenopausal symptoms and their effects on overall health would be discussed with me by my GP and OBGYN. They have not been.After conducting online searches I found Candescent Health and Claire Walker. She spent time helping me identify my symptoms and how my decreasing estrogen was impacting me in ways I never imagined.She provided me with a variety of options that could reduce and/or eliminate my symptoms. She also provided recommendations for other services that could be beneficial to my overall health.In less than 3 months of meeting Claire and of starting her recommended treatment plan, I feel amazing!I highly recommend women of any age, but specifically those entering perimenopause, schedule an appointment with Claire. I am so excited to have met Claire and learned about her offerings at Candescent Health and Wellness! I started going to see her to do Emsculpt Neo for my stomach which is a great treatment. I have done it on my glutes at a different location in Illinois before I moved.Part of what I enjoy about coming to see Claire is that she is very knowledgeable about ways to care for your health. Claire is a wonderful provider who truly cares about the well-being of her patients. What I love about Candescent is that it doesn’t have a medical feel to it. When you go in for your appointment the setting is more similar to a therapists office than a doctors office, with a nice comfy couch and relaxed environment. If you are someone who has anxiety about going into typical doctors offices I think Candescent would be an excellent choice for you. Another aspect I really appreciated is taking my own vitals and given the choice of whether or not I wanted to be weighed. This is another aspect that can be anxiety provoking in a medical setting. When I had my first appointment Claire was very thorough and it felt like a real conversation, not a 15 minute analysis. I highly recommend Claire and Candescent!

Claire is fantastic and very personable. I highly recommend her.I am seeing her for her skills as menopause specialist and I have been blown away! My trip to Candescent Health began with a lot of questions. Questions I had to ask myself before I even got in the door, questions about what I would do to fight for my own body and wellness, and questions as to how I could get back to a place of peace and comfort with my own well being. She assured me that my questions and concerns were valid and understandable, and even more-so: they were common. I was not alone.
