First time here and l am now a client for life! I was greeted with a welcoming smile by Tara at the front desk, who also worked really fast to get me checked in. She made me feel important. Allison, Nurse Practitioner is a gift from God and was my provider today. She did my well woman exam and it was best experience of all places I’ve been to in the last 25 years! She actually listened to my concerns and provided options for my situation that no other physician advised or informed, and she educated me on other medical needs l didn’t know about. Allison treated me beyond the average respect and dignity and gave me a genuine hug. This place is loving and blessed and all the employees take pride in serving the clients. Everyone is happy and friendly and the environment is immaculate. I wish that l had discovered this place sooner. I already have my daughter scheduled for a visit and l will let the world know about this place.

Dr. Drake came very highly recommended and blessed for the opportunity to have him as my surgeon. Dr. Drake is such a great down to earth surgeon that takes the edge off when facing a major surgery. After my surgery I can honestly say that it went great with no problems at all. Also, his team is great. Thank you ladies for all of yalls help. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Dr. Drake is amazing. He took his time to explain everything to me & answered all my questions. To be honest, I was scared having never had a serious medical condition. He & his staff made me feel comfortable & were very kind. I am confident that I am in good hands as my journey continues. I am blessed.

Dr. Drake and his team/staff were very attentive during my first visit on March 28, 2024. The office is very clean, you are acknowledged soon as you enter (a plus for me) and very friendly/professional. They listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions and I didnt feel rushed during my visit. My second visit on April 9, 2024 was the same oh and I must add they call you back on time within minutes of your appointment time another plus. Dr. Drake is a doctor that you can feel comfortable with sharing your concerns about your female issues/concerns and trust and believe hes going to do everything within his medical power to get your issues fixed. Hes very down to earth and again truly listened to me and didnt over talk me. Im thankful to God for my test results on April 9, 2024. I tell you I shouted when I got in my car. Dr. Drake was very thorough in reporting the results and again answered all of my questions/concerns. I highly recommend him. Again I applaud his staff too... Nicole was awesome too and helped calm my fears.

Today was a new patient visit and at the very entry of the clinical there is a beautiful calm. The staff were very nice and attentive.Dr. Rich Drake was very easy to talk to and down to earth. I left feeling my needs were addressed.

My personal experience after having a hysterectomy at 66 years old, I can honestly say that I never had bleeding after the surgery and very little pain the first week. The week that followed was even more perfect with hardly no pain plus I was given the good news of being able to drive again. I was sent to Dr. Drake for cervical cancer. He was absolutely amazing with me, explained everything to me that I needed to prepare for, as well as what’s to come. He’s a very kind Doctor and I’m happy to have found him with what I have ahead of me.

Today was my 1st visit with Dr. Drake. I have to admit, I was nervous in the beginning due to recent diagnosis which led me having to be referred to Dr. Drake. However, Dr. Drake & his team made me feel very relaxed and comfortable.Dr. Drakes Nurse Practitioner Nicole was very personable and made me feel welcomed as a new patient. Dr. Drake has an excellent bedside manner. He was very patient, kind, attentive, and willing to answer any question and/or concern that I had. Once my visit ended, I just knew I was in the right place for my continuing care...Hats off to Dr. Drake and his staff!

I have been a patient of Dr. Richard Drake since 2015. Fortunately, I have only had to use his services a few times. He is one of the best doctors I have been to. He explains things so you understand what is going on with you, health wise. And, Dr. Drake asks lots of blunt questions which helps him help you!

Dr. Drake is a phenomenal doctor! I’m on my 5th year, I CAN FINALLY SAY, I’m cancer-free, after having surgery with him in 2018!!! I live 10 hours away and will continue my annual appointments with him! It is well worth the drive! Dr. Drake is NEVER rushing through patients and always makes me feel like I’m his #1 patient! All glory to first, God, for such positive care, but second to Dr. Drake! I couldn’t have gotten through this “bump in the road” with anyone else, and without him!!! April is no longer there today, but was an asset to his practice! I do miss seeing her bubbly, beautiful face! Thank you to him and his staff, for such great care through the years!

My sister needed a total hysterectomy and her obgyn was not comfortable doing it because of how much scar tissue she had. She was referred to Dr Drake and he performed her surgery. During this time I found out through genetic testing that I had an extremely high chance of cancer. My obgyn at the time recommended a total hysterectomy and so did my gastric doctor but I wanted another opinion and I wasn’t necessarily comfortable with my obgyn at the time performing it. My sister pushed me to see Dr Drake and I am so grateful I did. He is awesome with his patients, down to earth and treats you as a person and not a number. I knew upon meeting him that I could trust him and wanted him to perform the surgery. I have just recently had my hysterectomy and am in recovery and doing well. At the hospital, every nurse who I talked to before and after the procedure had nothing but excellent things to say about him. He is an outstanding doctor and so is his team. I live in Katy, but happily will continue to make the drive to continue as one of his patients for the years to come. Thank you Dr Drake and staff…between your care, compassion and expertise, you have been an amazing blessing in my life and my sister’s life as well!

Dr. Drake and his staff are absolutely phenomenal. I really cannot say enough at how great they are on flexibility with scheduling and being thorough as well. From transferring medical records, to the Doctors/medical assistants putting your mind at ease and making sure you are their priority. 10/10 and highly recommend to anyone for your OBGYN needs!!

Im a referral from my female OB/GYN to Dr Drake and I had immediate reservations because simply put Id rather not talk to a boy about my girl problems but it was the complete opposite. Attentive. Respectful. Thorough. Knowledgeable. Hes been doing this for a minute and knows his stuff. I dont do theatrics and prefer knowing my options straight up no coddling. And thats exactly what I got and Im good....

Dr Drake is one of the best Drs Ive seen. He is very knowledgeable in what he does. If you want a Dr to take his time with you and give you upfront feed back he is the Dr for that. This doctor is very professional and although I would not wish for a future surgery, I would not doubt to trust him in the need for another procedure. Dr Drake is awesome but the office manager and their policies are impossible. Our daughter got diagnosed with ovarian cancer and when we visited the office for the post op and to hear the results of the pathology report they would not even let both my wife and me join our daughter to hear them. Only one of us was allowed to go back to speak with the doctor. They would not even let me wait in the waiting room, they made me go outside! THAT INSANE!What Dr. Office doesn’t have a consultation room where they can discuss a patients diagnosis with them and their family??? Especially a cancer diagnosis!

Dr Richard Drake is an amazing doctor. He performed my surgery on December 10th 2019. Since then he been my oncologist, hes very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

He’s very knowledgeable. Clearly explains everything. The staff in his office are very good. His nurse is great. Has one of the few labs that always find my vein on 1st stick. I am not a big fan of doctors generally speaking.Hes a good doctor.He listens to concerns, responds to questions, gives advice, and even jokes to keep things not too serious if you throw a joke his way. Hell even explain why if you dont understand his advice or like it. Hell even do his best to make unpleasant moments easier for the patient where most doctors are too cold/abrasive or impatient.I cant think of anything negative.

Fantastic doctor and a man with a kind heart. In one of the most vulnerable moments Ive had to experience, his bedside manner truly made me feel at ease. My regular GYN had already thrown the bad C word out there so I came into Dr Drakes office with a lot of fear. During the exam, I was so distracted with his conversation, I didnt get a chance to feel anxious and fearful. He is easy to talk to, even about personal details of your life. Definitely recommend!

I can’t give them zero starts because they were able to get my mom in asap when we desperately need Dr Drake to see her they were able to work her in to their busy schedule so I do appreciate it that…..what we didn’t appreciate was being charge $595 for the consult visit plus additional fees for a biopsy not having insurance definitely is stressful and a burden but when my mom was doing chemotherapy the first time for colon cancer we didn’t pay that much to see her oncologist or chemotherapy….after the visit since she doesn’t have insurance he suggested go to Harris health system (Ben Taub or LBJ) to get help and if they didn’t help her then come back to him….it was a wasted of time and a lot of money and then call to let us know we still owe them more money….I bet if we had insurance it would have been a better experience. But sadly we can’t give 5 star….is been over a week and they haven’t called with results of biopsy but that’s ok we know my mom has cancer we didn’t need them to do a biopsy to know that we knew she had cancer coming in to the doctors office we need him to say let’s do surgery right away and get you started on chemotherapy. Like I said if we had insurance it would have been a different experience I bet.

Dr. Drake performed my abdominal hysterectomy. Hes a very pleasant person & a very caring doctor. He answered all my questions and explained everything in detail. His office staff is very friendly & welcoming. In short, hes an amazing physician.

Dr. Drake and his staff did an outstanding job with my mom throughout her 3 1/2 year battle. They treated her with love and respect. We are forever indebted to them for giving us all more time to spend together.

Dr. Drake was wonderful at first. The day of surgery he was almost two hours late. The.next day he gave a strong narcotic and I had an adverse effect from it. So he decided to not give me any more meds. I have been in pain for hours and he has refused to give me anything. The kicker is I told him that what he gave.me.makes me a kettle crazy. Not very happy with him say all.

Since my first appointment I’ve had such a GREAT experience from the front desk to the Dr. himself! He’s made me feel very comfortable and addressed each & every question I’ve had! Definitely recommend 100/10!!

I had to reschedule my appointment due to me having COVID and I was told I would receive a call from the office manager. I never received the call and when I did call I was told by brandy that I will be receiving a letter. She then proceeded to tell me I missed my pre op appointment. I got tested for COVID at my pre op appointment and that’s how I found out. She then proceeded to argue with me instead of trying to help. I have a mass in my ovaries and her customer service sucks. Also she hung up in my face.Update Brandy is still trying to argue with me. Also she is giving out my medical information.

My problem was relieved in an office visit. I was pleased with all aspects of the visit and would recommend Dr. Drake highly

Worst experience with this doctor.My sister lost her life and waisted time with him.Time she didn’t have and he knew it !! He milked every penny he could out of her and her insurance.When we finally talked her into geting a second opinion.It was too late.I feel he was never honest and played with her life.She started with stage 1 and if we would have gone else where from the beginning.She would’ve had a fair fight.I know there is no cure but she was always in pain and her body endured so much from all the surgery’s when all he got out of it was money.

Dr. Drake and his nurse are very warm and caring. I felt in good hands.

I would not advise anyone to use this man! He is a butcher! I ended up in the hospital for emergency surgery and lost two years of my life and $20K in debt with separate medical bills because of his mistakes. Was catheterize for months becasuse he mutilated my bladder during a hysterectomy and he had no remorse- PLEASE DO NOT TRUST YOUR LIFE TO HIM!!

I just Love this man. He has a lot of knowledge in his field. I just had surgery and have a ways to go to recover but am very pleased so far. Great surgeon!!!
