I recently went to Gotham Health Clinic on Vanderbilt, and I was really impressed. The staff were super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The doctors and nurses took their time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on with my health. The place was clean, modern, and even though it was busy, I didn’t have to wait long at all. They offer a bunch of services like primary care, vision, lab tests, and more ,which makes it really convenient. Plus, it’s just a block away from the Staten Island train and S51 as well as directly in front of the the S78, S52, S76, bus stop, so getting there was easy. If you want great care without the hassle, I highly recommend Gotham Health Clinic on Vanderbilt and they are affiliated with NYC Health + Hospital.

My appointment with Dr. Ling has been exceptional. From the moment I walked in the door, the level of efficiency and cordiality had me impressed. Then, I met with the nurse, Im sorry I dont remember her name but she was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. She had to ask all the pertinent questions and at some point I broke down in tears, it had been such a long time since I was able to express myself, entirely. She was so compassionate and understanding. Then Dr. Ling walked in the door, hes demeanor was just perfect for the moment. I could tell he had read the notes but he didnt just stayed with the notes, he seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and for the first time in a long time Ive felt heard, I felt like I matter and that I could count with Dr. Ling to help me achieve overall health. I cant thank him and the staff enough, you all have no idea of the difference you have already made in my life. I would recommend this doctor a million times. Thank you Dr. Ling

WAITING AREAS VERY OVERCROWDED. ENTRANCE CHAINED OFF .YOU CANT BE DROPPED OFF AT FRONT DOOR. ITS VERY DIFFICULT WHEN YOU ARE IN WHEELCHAIR. THE LOBBY ONLY HAS 4 CHAIRS TO WAIT. THERE ARE NO AREAS TO PURCHASE REFRESHMENTS. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE BLDG. THERES NOT EVEN VENDING MACHINES. THEY SHOULD AT LEAST OFFER BOTTLED WATER

I always go there for testing and vaccines but Dec 31st. was a disaster. After 3+hours waiting outside I accidentally got the booster as 1st vaccine. (Double check please) Make sure you speak up. So I got another shot no biggie. The lady who taking your samples JILL is SUPER AWESOME I love her !

Very poor customer service. I am in need of medical assistance, it took half an hour to schedule an appointment over the phone (not possible to do it online for new patients) + another 20 minutes to sign up for an online account after the appointment was scheduled. 30 min prior to my appointment while on the way to the doctor I get a call saying that the appointment was improperly done and they have to reschedule it. Unbelievable.

Nice location, staffs and medical personnel, but their transportation lacks the lift for people as my diabetic obese wife whom cant lift her legs going up the bus steps. Spent money for cab service? Its just another hustle and Newport Service is the only service with appropriate height for my wife to step in/out plus for her walker on their Toyota Prius. If only I could afford a small car as that she would see her Doctors there. I believe she hasnt seen a doctor in about two years and now her vision is very blurry. Wheres the care and compassion?Update: Thanks Vanderbilt for not even trying to come by to see if she was seeing another Dr or just couldnt make it. Well, my dear wife, Maureen, passed away on Feb. 8th, 2023. THANKS FOR NOTHING! MAY A LIGHTNING BURN YOUR COMPUTERS!

I understand the current situation and time has been demanding for everybody and I have nothing but respect for healthcare workers as I have friends and family who work in the industry. However, this review is due to one certain staff there that was just unpleasant and rude and need to learn some communication skills and courtesy. I made an appointment for 4pm from the official government website and I got a call saying they close at 4pm (then why have appointments we can book even after that?) So I changed the time to 330pm which they said was fine. I arrive 20 minutes early and theres a line but not that bad. 10 minutes later this staff (has glasses on and the simple clipboard hander) comes out and tells the line they arent taking any more pcr tests. Fine. 15 minutes later- comes out again and says that they arent taking any more people at all. I asked to clarify for even appointments and she replies If you listened to me, you would know I just said no more people with a snarky attitude. Yeah, I heard you but learn some manners especially for someone and others in the line who took time off work to get the booster before new years. I even overheard them talking about how they dont get paid overtime so they are gonna close at 345pm. Theres others who have to make sacrifices at work so at least take that into consideration with some courtesy especially when you are letting walk-ins still go in that were in front of the line when others are balancing a job, family, and getting vaccinated and prepared by making an appointment. Need to better job with management as well as the supervisor seems incompetent.

The site has easily accessible hours. Parking is limited. The staff is upbeat, knowledgeable and compassionate. Results have been available sometimes in less than twenty four hours for a PCR test and very soon after a quick test. This site is a valuable asset to a community that just recently lost a nearby testing site. It is vital that it remain open.

Amazing and quick service. Went in at 9 am and was out to work by 9:30 with prescription for health issue experiencing at the moment.amazing front desk staff and security officer. No complaints of this site. The only complaint I have is with the general number to call to make appointments. There’s no way to contact staff directly and staff who answer on the general number can be sometimes very rude and unhelpful. I give this site a 5 star rating because the service is quick and great no to mention always clean. Great job staff at Vanderbilt.

I must thank the staff, especially RN Jennifer and Dr Spenille. They provided support and comfort to myself and my family. I am a cancer survivor. In the beginning I was alone with my family but whenever we go to this clinic they keep telling us we will get through this together and we surely did. Almost 2 years have gone by and I am still talking about their kindness. I am forever grateful to them and will never forget their patience and love. God bless them.

I Googled how to get to my appointment and noticed a bunch of Google reviews mentioned a joyful RN named Martha. So, of course when I sat down and was greeted with, “Hi, I’m Martha!” I had to tell her she was famous. The other workers overheard and starting clapping and cheering and saying she is the best! They had no idea they had reviews and were so excited for Martha. And it really was a joyful experience talking to her. Martha was thorough and thoughtful. I got a bit emotional while in the 15 minute afterward waiting chair. Martha noticed and grabbed my hand and said “it’s overwhelming but it’s great news!”.Be like Martha!

My wife took the covid test on Mid November 2020, she waited for a while about 40 mins, but she gets the results in 24 hours later. Its close to home and people were professional, a family went here a week later was also happy with the experience. I dont know other clinics here but compare to my experience in Arizona, I give this a five star.

Wonderful, loving and caring staff!!! Dr.Ling/Tayyaba and Nicole were awesome and respectful! Whenever someone does need medical care they dont want attitude and unprofessionalism, they want help and respect! I will continue to go here and keep the bond with the people that are trying to get me the healthiest i can be❤️

ATTENTION No Stars had to put one to post! So they lied all over google they don’t accept walk ins also, they don’t work, incompetent staff. Was on hold to speak to someone there for 2 hours. Literally on hold while walking into center asked why no answer stated it’s a service line really doesn’t make sense with no service being provided, had me sit see a nurse so she can tell me she can’t help me and doctor is on lunch. No professionalism surprising for a new health clinic that serves the community. I work for one as well Brightpoint Health Awesome refer all my clients there and thank god we don’t turn away people in need of health services and we also answer PHONES... Won’t refer anyone of my clients over there waist of time. Who ever is in charge needs to step it up don’t be one of those health centers in it for the money...

You can test for Covid 19 for free at this site and they offer Moderna shot for eligible people. Also for free. All you need to do is to go there with an ID and valid email to check the results later. And they also offer antibodies covid tes for free. Usually it takes 24 hrs for antibodies test results and up to 48 hrs for Covid 19 test to show on the chart. Staff are perfect and well trained and they treat you well. I like this place. Finally some good sites for. The city and run by the city.

The building is extremely clean and well kept. The service is professional, friendly and well organized. You are not waiting long and your appointment time is upheld. The doctors have a wonderful bedside manner and take the time to explain everything.

My wife and I went here for our Covid vaccines, and both times we had a great experience. The people here are courteous and very professional. It’s so nice to deal with people who genuinely like what they do.

Brought in my aunt and uncle for their forth shot there was a bit of confusion when it came to understanding the protocols. As frustrated as my aunt and uncle became, there was a lady helping us I believe her name was Rahelle. She took the time to explain it all to my aunt and uncle making the process much easier. Thank you to all the helpful staff.

Nurse Kim and Nicole Took care of me today at this very clean clinic. The bedside care, comfort and teaching was given to me so easy. I understood all my care they spent time teaching me.

First time driving to staten island, Google map directed me to a local way but it was a toward opposite direction. I almost got into car accident hadnt I stopped right away. Google should improve its map in staten island!!!. The hospital.was nice and staffs were kind.

A big THANK YOU to nurse Kim, she is so professional and was on top of her job. I was relaxed and the ambience was superb. Looking forward to my next appointment already. 😃😃😃Kudos!

Very unprofessional. Wanted an hour for a sonogram for my pregnancy and was told that they do not do that here and was questioned on how true my health conditions are in my pregnancy when I have paperwork stating how severe it is. Wasted my time and money and did not seem empathetic nor even to care about my health and did not refer me to a doctor I could see. Poor service would never come here again. If I could give less than 1 star trust I would.

Unacceptable practice when it comes to COVID-19 testing. City advertises that DOE employees get priority treatment (they do not). There is no unification or communication as to how long the wait is, and they will stop the line to make sure no patients are in the building when closing time hits, leaving people waiting an hour stranded without notice. Significant changes required. Complaint being filed with city.

For covid testing in the pop up testing site; Super fast service. Super fast results. But make sure you are ready for the wait, its a very popular testing site. Also they open/ start testing at 8:30, not 8.

This is my second visit and its a great place, very clean, the workers are nice. They only complaint I have is that they ask you your D.O.B INFRONT of everyone in the waiting room like PEOPLE ARENT STEALING ID AND PERSONAL INFORMATION. **ITS WAY BETTER AND THE SERVICE IS WAY FASTER THEN BRIGHT POINT ON BAY ST & WAY MORE ORGANIZED.. YOU ONLY WAIT ABOUT 5-10MIN BEFORE BEING CALLED

Very helpful and friendly staff. I forgot the nurses name who gave me a shot, she has excellent hand, I couldnt even feel she gave me the shot already.

Nicole & Kim took care of me today and I have to say they are the best nurses I’ve ever went to!!! I feel safe & secure coming here!

The NY Health and Hospitals testing site in the back is so convenient and efficient. Very nice staff and I was able to get in and out noproblem on my commute to work!

The only reason I am giving one star is because the police officer who was stationed outside was polite and kind we showed up at our slotted appt time 20 min ahead of time at 2:10i n the morning just to be told that they had run out of vaccines the day before we were not given a call a text a email nothing now its Wednesday a still have not Heard anything great job everyone

It said close at 6, but close at 4.still dont get my test result after a week of test day..I wouldnt recommend this cov 19 test station..

I got a call to reschedule an appointment and the woman on the phone was super rude and hung up on me.

This site does not offer COVID testing on the weekends - only the vaccine.
