I cant praise Asya and the entire team here enough. I always have extreme discomfort when it comes to check ups and every gyno or doctor Ive been to can sympathize and try to be easy with me but I always always leave feeling incredibly discomforted and scared to go back. From my very first visit to the latest one Ive had nothing but good experiences. They understand my uneasiness with the procedures and help keep me calm through out the process or they do it so quickly Im not even able to process that we finished the exam. And they also offer bloodwork screenings for stds along with a full cbc which is great. Seriously best professional gynecologist Ive been to in a long time.

I stopped being a patient there a while ago due to an experience with a younger female GYN that works there. I told her about intense pain that I had been experiencing and that I suspected that I had endometriosis. She told me just to take Tylenol and that I probably didnt. She did not even consider my symptoms and just blew me off. Well, I was officially diagnosed after that by an actual competent doctor, through surgery, with moderate (stage 2-3) endometriosis that was wrecking havoc on my body. It has been a big factor in my infertility, another thing that the GYN blew off. Youre 30, you still have time. 5 years later, 3 surgeries, and ivf, Im still struggling. Maybe if they had given me proper consideration and direction earlier, I might have been able to become pregnant already. I will never recommend them and sill warn others about their incompetence and atrocious beside manner.

Was referred to this office for Family Planning, and had an appointment with Kristine Arutyunova. She was straightforward but wasn’t dismissive. She listened to our concerns and was willing to work with us but managed our expectations realistically. Very attentive, kind and supportive. We found Kristine to be professional and caring, and that matters a lot when you have a sensitive topic to work on. Thank you so much for that!

My wife had gone to this Ob/gyn practice very early in her pregnancy. First 2 visits went fine, but we saw a new doctor every-time. On the 3rd visit about week 5 into the pregnancy CM(midwife) “Asya Portnaya” seen us and ordered the usual sonogram/urine test. During the sonogram all went well we seen a “Faint Structure in Gestational Sac” and no cardiac activity which is pretty normal so early in the pregnancy. But CM Portnaya after reviewing the sonogram diagnosed a “miscarriage”. Without any sonogram followup or bloodwork to confirm her suspicions she even told us to schedule a D&C to quicken the miscarriage. In our hearts and according to the report as well we knew we had to get a second opinion. During our second opinion from another OB/gyn practice we came to find out we had a absolutely healthy pregnancy. The second doctor said that CM Asya should have followed up with a second sonogram and blood work to confirm any suspicions. If we had taken the step and followed Asya’s directions today a healthy pregnancy would have been MURDERED.

I had an IUD inserted a few months ago and Ive had no issues. I came in once after as well just for a routine check and it went fine. Its a nice place and the doctor and staff were very friendly. 😊

I cannot praise this office highly enough! From very thorough diagnostics to endometrial ablation, I have had nothing less than excellent care! The nurses are really thorough, kind, and caring. Ive had nothing except positive experiences here. I had my fibroid treatment here, and I am amazed by how caring and empathetic the people who work here are. Everyone took great care of me, the doctor and nurses were amazing, very caring and I loved how knowledgeable they were about the treatment. I had a pelvic floor reconstruction done here, and even though it was a very stressful period of my life, I am very happy with how everything went. The staff was attentive and they were indeed supportive. My symptoms were affecting my quality of life badly, and I am very happy to see a huge improvement. This whole practice is outstanding! From the front desk clerk to the ultrasound tech! I just enjoyed everybodys pleasant attitude and care. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Portnaya to everyone. I recently underwent gynecological minimally invasive surgery at this office, and I couldnt be happier with the results. They performed a LEEP surgery to treat abnormal vaginal growths, and the procedure went smoothly, especially thanks to Kristine Arutyunova. The team ensured I was comfortable throughout the process and provided excellent post-operative care. Recovery was quick and I felt supported.

I must say Camille the secretary has made it easy for me to keep coming back. Shes been there the longest and it makes me feel comfortable that no matter which Dr. I see I trust them. Kristine is truly a professional. Visited on a Friday for a 3D Ultrasound and was amazed at the clarity of images and the depth of explanation provided. If you want comprehensive care, this is the place to be!

I was having an issue and they took me the very next morning. Doc was very nice, thorough and she answered all my questions. I be was sent for a minor procedure which made me feel much better. Highly recommend this office. The staff was also very helpful.

Ok so this had to be the easiest appointment and process Ive ever been through. I set up an appointment online they took my insurance everything went smoothly. The office is very veryclean along with the staff before you meet the doctor they are all very pleasant. The sonagram technician, the person doing the blood work, the receptionist Camille and the nurse who was preping me were so patient and sweet. I met with Dr. Asya explained that I was nervous due to not having good luck with my previous gynecologist sheassured me I would be fine. Made me verycomfortable was fast but very efficient definitely worth the wait. That offices first impression definitely was a great one. Definitely a practice I recommend at all times. Dr. Youshko and his team were incredibly thorough during my exam. I was seen right away and was able to get pelvic ultrasound, Pap smear, and blood work all during the one visit. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Its really disappointing to read all these amazing reviews and never felt like I experienced them, I will still be going to this doctor service but I have learned so much from this visit and Im tired of being disappointed. First I called them to make my appointment for my year and they had no idea I was due for one, then they never gave me any direction on an ultrasound or blood work (I been here 3 times before and never experienced any of it) but I received 3 emails reminding me of my appointment and two texts to get my paperwork done. I even received another text reminder when I was leaving for my 12pm appointment, at 2:30pm.After arriving at 10 minutes to 12, no one is really that friendly. Im confused about the ultrasound, the tech apologized, it was fine, finally saw the doctor, got excuses for the wait, all the services we received, and I kindly responded I wish I knew I was even getting them. Then off to blood work, where I was a human pin cushion, she got no blood, I felt like I was going to puke- and I was told its my fault for being dehydrated. She did provide me with water and an ice pack, but no concern about how I was getting home or my safety. Again I had no idea I was getting blood taken, I was there since 10 min to noon, but I was made to feel like I was being rude and terrible. I left refusing to go somewhere else for blood and I was made to feel like I committed a crime. Needless to say I left crying and went to make sure I owed no money. When I went back the requested Google reviews so here is mine. Oh and a lot of old reviews said a lot of this stuff, so it was nice to see they got better and I was just the special winner.

VIP treatment. I have never had a positive experience at the GYN until now. The office is very clean with sonogram and phlebotomist. The staff is very warm, caring, kind and friendly. They were very attentive to my questions and treated me with respect. I did not feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. I highly recommend this place !!!!

My LEEP surgery was a success. The doctor had excellent bedside manners, answered all of my questions before the procedure, and gave me detailed directions for recovery period. I appreciate such personable care.

UPDATE: Its been 2 months since this appointment and they havent contacted me regarding my test results.I’m totally baffled by the wait times here. I have been coming here for more than 10 years. The staff is great. Always has been. But the wait times...I had an appointment, first of the day, and had to wait 90 minutes because the doctor was driving in from Brooklyn. Then they wouldn’t give me my results over the phone so I had another appointment, first of the day, and she was again 90 minutes late because she was driving in from Brooklyn. It’s frustrating to have a 2-3 hour appointment for 7 minutes of a doctors time or to hear I’m perfectly healthy. This is consistent. I’m now here for 2 hours and I’m still waiting... It’s baffling. Should I start arriving an hour after my appointment to lessen my wait time? I have a job to get back to. I allot 2 hours away from work but it’s always 3-4 hours with travel time for a 10 minute or less appointment. Oh and once they tried to pass the time with upsells of their other services. In 20 minutes I will have I’ve been here 3 hours now....Still waiting for a 4 minute Pap smear...

Expert care from start to finish. I did my colposcopy procedure here and cannot recommend Dr. Vozny enough for her compassion and understanding throughout the process. She is the best!

Such a good experience.I was a bit thrown off when I went in and was told the doctor I was seeing was no longer there. I was a new patient anyway so I was recommended to Asya Portnaya, CM. She is a midwife so I was even MORE skeptical as I had never had one before. I am older now. So I was concerned. But she put me at ease immediately. She is the absolute sweetest and nicest. She fully examined me. She was patient with me and carefully answered my questions. Staff is also quite nice and friendly and professional as well.They do sonograms there as WELL as bloodwork eliminating the pain of having to go to a lab.Another thing patients are in and out. Although I notice this more due to new pandemic behavior. (With other people I know and their dr appts) But I wasn’t waiting long at all. This is all in addition to being close by where I live

The best GYN services on Staten Island, and I’ve been to several. They are professional, polite and provide you with all the information needed. Camille and Aysa were especially caring during my visits. I would recommend this office to anyone needed services. The best thing - it’s efficient service, there is no waiting 2 hours in the waiting room to be seen.

I am so happy I came here! Treated with respect, the utmost care, and very knowledgeable about lady parts ;) the entire staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable every step of the way... theres a sonographer on-site and I didnt have to make a separate appt for my transvaginal ultrasound... I love this location and hope you visit if youre reading this ! Im a black woman and this clinic found the little fibroids hiding in me... Im truly grateful I chose this place and feel relieved.

Please do not go here. You see a different doctor every time regardless of who you make an appointment with, and no matter who you see you are rushed out of the office with almost no time to talk to the doctor. Conditions were not explained well to me because the doctors were in such a rush to get me out of the office. They also sent me for a procedure in Brooklyn to a sketchy clinic, where it wasnt even clear if the doctors taking care of me on Staten Island were there. I didnt end up getting the procedure that day because the location made me so wary. I ended up going to another doctor for a second opinion, who told me that I didnt even need to get that procedure done. Based on other reviews that talk about billing issues, it makes me feel like they suggested that procedure just to get an extra buck. For the sake of your healthcare, please find another office.

I love the service I received from this Clinic! Everything is on campus , Sonogram, lab you name it they got it . The office is Clean and cozy no long waiting to a provider. They had open Availabilities to see patients. This now my Official GYN office .

I’m so glad that I finally found a place were I can take care of my Environmental allergies. My wife first started with Immunotherapy and I decided to come along and bring my daughter as well. I can’t wait for the spring time to come to not suffer anymore!! The technician Jessica has been very friendly and helpful with making this process not stressful!

Disorganized staff. Unprofessional, they are in their own world, non attentive not friendly, overworked and no one knows what they are doing. You have to call them for everything don’t wait for them to call you to follow up with a thing. They all rave about Camille she’s nice and the ladies that do the bloodwork besides that new doctor new midwives and they are all rude and nasty and the new ultrasound tech is nasty. If you hate the place of employment so much leave. They just seem miserable.

Well I went there once and was disappointed. The ob/gyn was rude and they act like they could care less and don’t want to be bothered. The phlebotomist are super nice. They are over worked the lady last did my sonogram was so nasty I asked if my family could come in and see she said no I don’t have time today! Like killed such an important moment in my life! Then they said the could see me for prenatal care and then told me they cannot. Like reassured me at first then wasted my time! I will not be giving them another chance they are all rude over tired and frankly not suited to work with such poor attitudes. Not happy at all. On/ gyn care on Staten Island is the worst!!!!

I like the fact that I was able to get a timely appointment. I also like the fact that most of the services were not outsourced. For example, I had to get a sonogram and bloodwork and they were done on the premises. My OB was very professional and helped with my concerns.

There is a reason this place had 3.8 stars and I shouldve avoided at all cost but since Im new to S.I I went with it. I made an appointment online through Zocdoc for 3:45 PM (If they close around that time, they should fix their appt hours on zocdoc.) I arrived 5-8 minutes before my scheduled appt. and was greeted by a receptionist at the front desk. She didnt inform me they were closed or anything she just said hello how are you and went to her computer. I said hello and signed my name on their appt board. I waited for about 5 minutes until a doctor or PA or another receptionist who knows with red short hair (the one whos pic is actually in the reviews) walked towards me and asked me how she could help me. I said Im here for my 3:45 PM appt. She said no youre not because were closed, I was taken back. I said well I made it through zocdoc and then she went on to say we cancelled your appt. on there first off how are you going to say what you did but had no idea what I was there for in the first place. I said nobody cancelled anything because its clearly still on my phone and she just kept saying on our end, on our end. I said OK so if it was ON YOUR END why didnt anyone have the courtesy of calling to let me know you cancelled, how unprofessional can you be? She said well its cancelled idk what to tell you. So I said wow you really wasted my time and I just walked away, she said I mean youre going to have to reschedule and I literally scoffed and told her, you think Im going to reschedule with you incompetent people so what, you can cancel it on me again without notification? FOH! Then these type of offices have the audacity to have signs up saying if YOU cancel without letting them know there are charges made, yeah ok. Anyway avoid at all cost!

It’s not bad. It’s okay. Some of the staff do have attitudes especially the woman who did my sonogram but they are the only gyn that takes my insurance so doesn’t matter to me. Also I can give back attitude so I don’t mind. My attitude is unbearable I’m just saying. They will be rude and nasty to the wrong one.

Love this location and Dr. Portnaya is awesome! She always makes me feel so comfortable on all my visits. Can’t see myself going to any other place.

I dont know what is going on in that office !As im waiting to see Dr Anita the secretary that is now at Camillesdesk pulls me to the side to ask me why i was here today and if i wanted a follow up with another Dr after my visit . I was very uncomfortable .The whole atmosphere of the practice has changed. I will be looking for another gynecologist office.Professional Gynecological Services is making a big mistake by taking Camille out of the office three days a week.No woman likes to go to the gyno so when you feel like your going to visit friends it makes a world of difference. Going into an office were everyone looks stressed and is cold does not cut it for me.

The receptionist is unpleasant and tried to act like she was in control of what I’m supposed to pay, instead of what my insurance company put in place. So I said I’ll take my business elsewhere. Very disappointed at how I was treated.
