Planned Parenthood - Martin County Health Center

I was at this office on Valentines day for a regular check up. Two ladies took care of me, they were amazing. I dont remember the kind lady that took all my personal info but I know the doctors name because her name was on my birth control prescription, her name was Glory. I have never met a more relaxed, pleasant and knowledgeable doctor. She was so sweet, made me very so comfortable during a process that is very intrusive and revealing. My overall experience was good but who I didnt like is the atrocious woman that came in to give me my pills. Shes Hispanic with horrendous acne. She turned a pleasant visit into attitude central. Luckily, I was in a good mood because if I wasnt I wouldve chewed her face up with my words. She clearly was irritated that she had to explain to me how to use my birth controls and rushed all my questions as if she had a lunch to go to. Thats cool, her fellow coworkers and boss made up for her attitude.

Never had a problem with any employees.But had issues on two different occasions.First was about 6 months ago i always try to pick up as many birth control pills as i can so i dont have to make a long trip back and miss a day of work.they didnt have my 6 month supply.So i take what was available.Next time i came in i felt like was being blamed for not knowing where the pills i didnt receive were.As i tried to tell them they never gave them all to me.Second i never get told to/when i need to schedule a check-up appointment.So i just made a online app.to pick up more birth control pills.When i go to my appointment and sign in i tell the lady im here for a pick up.after waiting over an hour and closing time.I was forgotten about and still didnt receive my birth control pills after being told i need to make another appointment because my prescription expired that would of be nice to get a email or text before wasting all that time and a day of work...But all staff is friendly just the office seems unorganized and off.*Update* 6/11/2018Went back in today.All staff were so friendly and nice! Work was efficient and didnt wait long at all. Had absolutely no problems and highly recommend.Great Work

Don’t offer free std testing, which is sad cause some people don’t have extra money to put aside a extra 200$ just to get tested. The health department in Port st Lucie atleast offers free testing on every Tuesday for people the age of 13-19 and being that I just turned 20 it sucks to not be able to get free testing. Not very happy with planned ParenthoodUpdated response: no you guys don’t because I called up to this exact location and they told me that they don’t offer free testing and the prices range is anywhere from 198-200 dollars so that is not true.

This place is very helpful and they take care of you from birth control to condoms to abortions. They truly care and want to help most people dont understand the situations that females have togo through but PP doesnt judge you or anything they give you options but they never pressure you to choose another option besides abortion. Some people dont realize that females are not always capable of bringing children into the world and child birth is more risky than an abortion. At the end of the day its their body and if they want to have an abortion then thats their choice stop judging people because you are not God!

This facility does not offer free rapid HIV testing. This is not good, due to the prevalence of HIV/AIDS within the community. I wouldnt suggest the Center to any of my patients.

I went to the office for my first time. Needed to get a couple tests, everyone was terrific, I felt comfortable, the doctor who saw me was very good she took her time asked many questions. Thank you

Went here for a pregnancy test and birth control, I was very nervous and the doctor there was very kind and reassuring.

This planed parenthood has helped me through many situations from birth control to rape counseling..Thank God you were available.
