Santoriello Kathy MD

My daughter went to Dr. Santoriello. We found out she had a cyst on her ovaries. Went to have an ultrasound. We never got the results from Dr. Santoriello. How can you not explain what the next step to do? Why didn’t you return our calls? Why didn’t you tell us what the ultrasound report said? The only thing we got was a bill. We paid it but we won’t go back again!!! Horrible when to treat woman!!!!

I have a rare condition that most doctors dont know about. Kathy found and treated me with a complete hysterectomy. I cannot go to another gynecologist because of my condition. Other drs have no knowledge about it. I waited two months for appointment to see Dr. Santoriello herself and her PA attended my appointment not her. Her PA knew nothing about my condition, which tells me she didnt even read my file before she walked into the room. I had many questions for the doctor which I asked the PA to which she had no answers. I called her office to speak to Kathy and left a message. I called the office back again, when I did not receive a call back and was told that Kathy did see my message and Kathy told the office to tell me that I needed to make an appointment to speak with her. When I explained to the nice lady that answered the phone that I had done that already and got her PA, she put me on hold and then I got Jackie ( the office manager) with her Oh so pleasant demeanor!!! She proceeded to tell me, if I didnt like their policies that I can take my business elsewhere and theyd be more than happy to forward my file. I have referred over a dozen patients that she has performed Hysterectomies on. This used to be a really good office. Now you just treated like a number with a $ behind it! You cant even talk to her unless youre paying $85 which I did pay to talk to her and I received an incompetent PA. They even tried to get $25 deposit down to reserve an appointment. Stay as far away from this office as you can. All you do is spend money and get nothing.

Dr Santoriello & her staff are wonderful.Dr. Kathy is very caring compassionate Dr. She listens to you and your concerns. Absolute best surgeon for your female needs. Extremely satisfied with my decision to be a patient of hers. I can go on about how wonderful she is all day.Grateful for Dr. Santoriello

This place used to have a very awesome and solid nurse practitioner that would follow up with her patients, whom I miss. I had several abnormal test results, asked the newer nurse practitioner to call me back on SEVERAL occasions to discuss my results but - although the receptionist said the nurse would call me back (the NP gets in the office after 1:00 pm), she NEVER did. Instead the office gave me some appointment for weeks out. I decided to go elsewhere midterm instead of waiting for weeks to talk to someone but I needed my medical records from this place so I called for an update on the records status and I asked AGAIN for the nurse practitioner to call me (was told there was nothing ever in my chart about wanting a phone call) and AGAIN I received no call. Go here if you want to be avoided. Theres newer/nicer/more competent places.

I went to the office for the first time in September. I had an emergency and they were very accommodating and scheduled me right away. The front desk is very nice. The nurse practitioner was very nice. I needed emergency surgery and Dr. Santoriello did not hesitate to squeeze me in immediately. I am very happy with the entire office staff.

I went to her office for my yearly prevention visit and I will never go here again. They did not even take a urine sample which I have never experienced at a wellness preventative visit. My visit was maybe no more than 10-15min log with the doctor (which included getting a pap smear done). When I got my bill they not only charged my insurance for the prevention they charged for an office visit because it was my first time at this office and she asked me about my medical history, it took no more than 5min to give her a brief medical history. I have never in my life been charged an extra office visit when a doctor ask me a few questions at a preventative visit. I guess I should have gone in and not said a word.

Dr. Santoriello is amazing! Compassionate and always takes extra time to listen and help me through problems. I wish all doctors were as kind and patient. Insurance is always hard to file, but staff helps to get it right - not an easy job in todays insurance world. Thanks to this office for taking great care of me!

Dr. Santoriello is fabulous! She is very personable and listens. She offers solutions in a clear, simple way. She takes time to explain. She asks questions and answers questions. I never felt rushed. I trusted her completely for a surgical procedure which I wish I had done years ago. I had been so afraid. She took care of things and was so kind and caring prior to the surgery. Her follow up care was timely and thorough. Nurse Practitioner, Maggie, is also fabulous. The entire staff is kind and professional. They don’t overbook appointments. I’ve never waited more than five minutes in the waiting room or in the exam room. They have always greeted me and made me feel welcome. The waiting room is very comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend.

She is money hungry!! Check the reviews about her overcharging everyone !! She sent my info to a collector when she billed my insurance incorrectly and refused to fix itMade my annual checkup appt as a new patient being a new resident to the area. This is a money hungry office, the doctor discussed with me a procedure based on my ongoing issues we discussed during the exam. The doctor recommended I have this done, didn’t bother to tell me because she is speaking to me about a procedure this changes my annual appt to a visit. Now they are trying to charge me $200 for a visit because they didn’t bill my insurance properly. Stay away from this money hungry office and the procedure she wanted me to get don’t was going to cost thousands of dollars and they wants the cash up front ..

My first appointment with Dr. Santoriello was a year ago. She listened to all my concerns and what I hoped for in the next year and she explained everything, in detail, about all my options. I went back in January 2020 to now discuss my options. After a long discussion and getting side effects of each option I had, we made the decision to get a hysterectomy. We have had issue after issue with my insurance company for the last 5 weeks. Every step of the way, Doc and her staff have fought for me and pushed through to get this done as soon as possible. Ive never had an office work so closely with me or fight so hard for me as this office. I finally found a GYN that listens and cares about her patients.

Ive been seen at this office many times due to chronic infections. I have seen Dr.Santoriello and all of the nurse practitioners that work under her... Maggie is one of them she has a great bedside manner and has genuine concern for you. She answers all your questions and always returns phone calls promptly even personally calling you back. I truly wish that there were more doctors like her that take a genuine interest and have real compassion.

Starting with the assistant who took my vitals, my whole experience was unsatisfactory. Assistant who took vitals was extremely unpleasant. I expected to see the doctor but was instead seen by a nurse practitioner who suggested I have an unnecessary test. Cancelled follow up appointment. Wound up going elsewhere to be treated appropriately.

Detailed review: I am a young black woman, and have been to this location twice. I waited over a month to review because I keep running into inconsistent and prejudice doctors. I’ve been to 5 other obgyn’s this past 4 months and all have been a major fail. Except for here.I was first seen by her np? (Or other gyn) and she was extremely friendly and personable. Todays visit was with Dr. S and she was the same. Extremely patient, very knowledgeable, and even taught me a few things to keep me healthy in the future. I came with a serious problem and wasn’t judged or looked down upon. The ladies at the front desk and the woman who took my blood pressure, all are very personable and lovely individuals as well. I don’t see where the bad reviews come from but of course, everyone will have a different experience. As for me This will be my primary place now.

This doctor was absolutely rude about my health and my life. She refused to try, test or do anything in any way to ease my condition or my mind. This was a total waste of my time and I hope she receives the karma of causing detriment to an already hurting person. Openly admitted she lacks the knowledge to be able to treat my condition. I feel sorry for anyone going to get help for anything sensitive she will make sure you feel awful . She wasted my time and I am really hurting. l went ahead and filed detailed reports to medicare and Humana insurance about this doctors bedside manner and overall atitude. Someone with all this experience acted as if she had never heard menopause or anything that had to do with womens health. I waited for well over an hour after I arrived early. I heard this Doctor being extra helpful and thorough with another patient offering her supplements and advice. She came into my room and had an attitude when I refused damaging birth control and getting my tubes tied. Atleast we know whats on this doctors mind. Perhaps a missed mortgage payment. Anything to offer a basic,One dimensional treatment that has been debilitating for me in the past and could be the cause of my current fibroids.I obviously need an ultrasound and qualified specialist with endometriosis care. I wish there was a way to leave no stars. This is not a doctor this a nasty human who should not be doing this job if she cant be kind. *Update second opinion and finally some tests revealed that this doctor was not only wrong but completely insensitive about a condition that is urgent. I explained my agony about my condition and was absolutely disrespected. Not only did this doctor treat me terribly she refused to help me when I am absolutely sick. I just hope I have uncovered this in time because I have been through the ringer and not one person understood estrogen dominance is not solved by birth control. That is one dimensional treatment that could straight up give you cancer. Estrogen dominance is not something in your head and these medical professionals have zero right to treat you bad when YOU are obviously suffering. Not only was I correct about my pain but I need major surgery and this doctor didnt even understand when this is supposed to be her field. Im not sure why there is a war on women by other women but it is clear. When a doctor on you tube has more valuable information that a vast number of medical professionals in your insurance there is a f***king problem. Estrogen dominance is real and there are medicines to help,do not let some quack treat you like you are nothing when you are in pain and suffering. Estrogen dominance unchecked can cause cancer. Its really nice to be snubbed when I was CORRECT about my health and this doctor was clueless! EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO RELIEF!! GET A SECOND OPINION

If you have underlying health concerns or fear being exposed to Covid dont go to this office. Employees do not wear masks. I watched two of them open and close glass partition to speak to patients in a small waiting room while unmasked, When I questioned why they were not following guidelines, I was ask to leave and threatened to have the police called on me. I filed a report with health department. They were in violation of a county ordinance which requires all employees to wear a mask while providing a service to the public. I dont trust a doctor who cares so little for the health and safety of their patients. Be safe.**Update: Their response seen below is an out and out lie!! 2 of her employees were not wearing mask. They ask me to leave and told me to find a new doctor after I complained about their not wearing a mask. Within 24 hours I received a letter from Dr. Santoriello asking where to send my records. Their response is 100% false. I cant believe that she would stoop to such a level as to insinuate that I would make this up. I thought doctors took an oath to be ethical. Do not trust this doctor. She is dishonest and she does not put her patients well-being first. Shame on you Dr Santoriello.

This office was on my insurance Network so I called for a new patient appointment...earliest was 8 weeks out..went this morning. Doctor came in and I explained I havent been to a gynocologist in a long time, but over 50 so attempting to have all the tests and exams I should have by 50 that I have been putting off. I currently take hormone replacement for horrible hot flashes.. from a doctor my sister in law recommended..this doctor told me if she was going to start caring for me..I had to get rid of that guy no exam...she didnt charge me...but I was shocked she wouldnt even consider examining me unless I agreed to leave this other doctor...and as an aside the replacement therapy..life changing..from 3 hot flashes or more per day especially at night to zero...good luck if you go to this office

I have been a patient of Dr. Santoriellos for a few years and have always received excellent care from her, as well as her office staff. Upon entering her office, you will see women of all ages from very young to elderly. It is a busy place, and if you ever have to wait an extra 10 minutes to see her, it is a genuine testament to the kind of doctor she is. First and foremost, shes compassionate and cares about her patients so she takes the time to really listen, ask questions, and find the best answers to help heal you or put your concerns at ease. She is a true professional, life-long learner who stays current, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of womens health and wellness. Her ultimate priority is for you to feel and look your best at any age in the most non-invasive ways possible. Being someone who always wants to take the most natural approach possible, I am grateful to have Dr. Santoriellos support and willingness to share her expertise from nutritional supplements to proactive ways to deal with the changes that come with aging all women eventually face.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This office only cares about making money, not the dignity, health and well being of the patient. They billed me incorrectly twice and then told me condescendingly when I called to inquire that I don’t know how to read my bill. I was referred to the office by my chiropractor, I cancelled my follow up appointment and will not be back. Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a Dr. office.

I believe you get good care here, but gynecologists need to be more understanding re weigh ins. Unless a patient is clearly obese or too skinny, please skip that step if the patient asks you to. Please dont push back. Going to a gynecologist can make a patient already feel vulnerable, and getting a weight number higher than youd like, especially during COVID when a lot of us stopped going to the gym--not necessary. I would have given five stars if not for this issue.

This is the worst gyno Ive ever had (and Ive been to the free health department so thats saying something) Kathy does not care about the patients at all. The staff there is not much better. Ive left multiple voicemails spread out over weeks and never got a response. My last appointment I voiced a concern with one of the staff (the same thing I had called multiple times about) and never even saw Kathy. Instead they made an appointment for me to come back and talk to her for almost 3 weeks later. Then my prescription ran out before that appointment and they wouldnt fill it. They just said youll discuss it at your appointment. My appointment was scheduled for more than a week away. I called them back and told them to cancel my appointment because I will be getting a new gyno. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else... anywhere else!

The staff at Dr. Santoriellos office are horrible The office manager is horrible and they could careless about their patients. I had a scheduled procedure and the Dr. had a family emergency and I was on the pre-op table with an IV started in my hand and the Surgical Center came in to say that she had to cancel the procedure that day and the office would call me to reschedule BUT when my father was rushed to the ER via ambulance and I had to reschedule my appt. they still charged me the $25 cancellation fee. When I called the office to speak to the office manager she was rude and could careless. I paid my bill and it sat in their billing system as an open credit she said and they never applied it to my account. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My wife called me very upset as soon as she left this office! In the middle of a pandemic and Florida being a hot spot - without any clue as to the issues or vulnerabilities of a new patient - my wife was subjected to office workers who refused to wear a mask, dismissed her concerns over their willful violation of a health department requirement to wear a mask at all times, and were extremely rude to her - to the point of absurdity - threatening to call 911 over their right of refusal to wear a mask - and her insistence that they do!?! Needless to say, my wife never stayed to see the doctor and the department of health was notified!! Remember, these employees do what their boss - Dr Santoriello, condones and views as acceptable!! Is there any wonder as to why Florida is the Covid epicenter?!? Funny, not in Florida, I went to get a haircut - had to call to be let in, my temperature was taken immediately, hand sanitizer put on my hands, my mask never allowed to come off, all employees wore masks, and social distancing was in effect at all times even with a limit on the number of people allowed in!! For a haircut!! Dr Santoriello - you are part of the problem in your state!

The most caring and supportive obgyn I know. Doesnt rush through appointment! Surgery went extremely well and very pleased with her knowledge and gift of kindness! Front Desk staff very professional and warm welcoming!

I have been a patient for a couple of years. I really appreciated the kindness of the staff, nurses and doctor. They all took their time and were patient with my questions and concerns. I have recommended the office to others and happy I found an Ob-gyn that understands old fashion bedside manners.

Do not ever visit this doctor. My fiance called me crying after her appointment with them doctor santoriello criticized her for her weight when she has PCOS and has a hard time losing weight and is extremely rude. She immediately became rude when she specifically did not want to go on any medicine that causes weight gain and would not listen to anything she had to say. Doctor santoriello and her office are the most rude and unprofessional medical practice I have ever encountered

My case was handled in an very poor fashion. I made attempts to offer my communication and input about my experience in hopes to have a better relationship but to no avail.This practice requires an office visit for things that could easily be handled via phone ($$$$). Additionally, they implemented road-block protocols that hindered my care leaving me with no option but to go a week without a needed medication (Not my fault. The NP had me following a changing to effect dosing and I was just running out of meds before my scheduled appointment) I ended up stuck trying to work out my new medication and dosing regime through a phone staff that hid behind a convenient wall of “protocols” (the protocol of needing another office visit of which they had no openings) Adding insult to injury was their condescending stance that they were doing something the right way and I was just a problem client not following direction and rules. This same staff fumbled numerous important communications. Still in shock….and so disappointed that this did not work out… but I believe in standards of care for my body and mind and this practice is not for me.

Dr Santoriello is highly intelligent, thoughtful, caring, respectful, patient and a great communicator. Due to her diligence, I was blessed with my miracle baby, even after some of the top fertility specialists said it was impossible. God bless you Kathy!

Dr. Kathy Santoriello is a wonderful doctor. I have been coming to her for many years. I moved to Vero Beach , but I still make that drive to see her.Often times I am seen by Maggie, and she is just as knowledgable and wonderful. They have me for life.

Dr. Kathy Santoriello is the most caring physician with professional expertise who deserves a ten star rating with a blue ribbon. Her staff is efficient and personalizes every visit. They are all a gift to women in Stuart.

Attended follow up visit with my wife to discuss a positive mammogram that was ordered by Dr Kathy. We asked what was next and we assumed Dr Kathy would have a game plan but Dr Kathy stated she was just the middle man and she could do nothing , no suggestion, refferal or anything. We were furious and It’s a shame that anyone would be treated this way.We have nothing against Dr Kathy but we just made a wrong choice because we were referred by a friend.

The staff is so attentive. Maggie is great. Dr. Kathy is so attentive and very thorough in her explanations. The front office is super helpful. I never have to wait. They schedule appointments with enough time and get you in and out quickly. Their supplements are great too.

Dr. Santoriello always listens to me and gives me all the information so we can make the best choice together. She genuinely cares for her patients. The staff is very friendly.

This Doctor first than anything do not see you, I was attended by a ARNP, at first I felt happy because she was asking a lot of question about my health, it was supposed to be anual check and I thought they needed to know everything about me to make the history right, she did the pap and examination as regular and I talked about a lower abdominal pain I was experiencing and she told me I needed a mammogram and an pelvic ultrasound to check what could be causing the pain and that on the next appointment we would discuse to remove all my organs since they were bothering me ( what tha... she even did not know what was wrong!), they charged me as a regular visit when I was supposed to have a free consultation for my annual check up they said I had to pay as a regular visit because I consulted extra problems ( so what I am supposed to do on the annual check up, be quite and do not talk?) i schedule the sonogram appointment and the day I went to have it done they told me I had to pay $100.00 + copayment when the hospital charges just $18 so I decided to cancel and go to the hospital . I never got a call from them about my pap results, mammogram or sonogram , the hospital called me to have more images of my breast and they never called me to let me know that, I needed a referral to get new images, when I called them I wanted to know if there was something wrong and they said I had to make an appointment to discus that with the DOCTOR and I asked them if I could get the results to set up an appointment with an specialist if the results were not normal and they told me they could not give them to me until I make the appointment , I just wanted to get my results and choose what is more convenient in the case, the results are my property they can not deny that, when I went to pick up the results they dismissed me because I REFUSED to see the doctor, I never said I would not see the doctor, I just wanted to go see an specialist if there was any issue. THEY ARE JUST MONEY DRAINERS.

Santoriello needs to retire. Shes a danger because she pushes unnecessary procedures and surgeries where the risks outweigh the benefits. Please get another consultation and stay away from this money hungry doctor. Shes a bad person.

Dr. Santoriello, and her staff are wonderful... Theyre extremely gracious, and attentive.. I recently had some minor plastic surgeries done to my face, neck, and abdomen... I couldnt believe the results.. The Bodytite, and Morpheus machines are designed to dissolve fat, and help stimulate the growth of collagen... I no longer have a turkey neck, double chin, or protruding jowl line.. In two weeks, I look amazing.. My friends are slowly trickling in because they are so impressed with my outcome.. Awful Doctor run from this money grubber, she doesnt give a darn about you, I went in for a partial hysterectomy because of fibroids, she told me i had cancer which i did not have, she had me in emergency surgery in 3 days. it was so fast my head was spinning., she did a full hysterectomy taking my ovaries for no reason. Shes a quack I should have sued this idiot, message or call me if anyone knows of a class action on her.

I was seen in the emergency room with an ectopic. I didnt even know I was pregnant so I was very upset I was finding out the same day I was losing my child. I was told to shut up because I was crying and that she is trying to save my life and its not a real baby. This was years ago and to this day I still hear those words. I have never been so insulted and hurt.

Provider did a very good physical exam but 1 star is due to fraudulent billing, collecting co-pays that aren’t actually due and incredibly rude/vile office manager.

The procedure using the Inmode equipment caused slight discomfort and did not take very long. That night I felt as if I had a very slight sun burn, by the morning I felt zero discomfort! I look forward to fantastic results

Dr Kathy is phenomenal. Office staff could be more friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dr Kathy, excellent bed side manner, very friendly and personable and genuinely cares for her patients.

Dr. Santoriello is a thorough conscientious physician. Her approach is holistic yet securely anchored in evidence- based medicine.

I really appreciate they way Dr. Santoiello communicated and considers the the body as a complete system. She had time for my questions. I feel lucky to have found her!

I have always had very professional care at this office, and felt the doctor and NP were truly concerned about my health.

This women should not be a doctor.Very condesending and thinks she knows it all.She came very close by the skin of her teeth of being out of business and being sued for millions stay away.

Difficult getting test results back. EMR system is useless for patient communication.

Beware of fraudulent billing to your insurance company. Its doctors like these that are driving up the cost of insurance.
