I had two abortion procedures done at this clinic. Once in 2014 and once in 2016. I am currently in need of services and of course I turned to the only provider in my area. I decided to read some of the reviews to compare my past experiences with others and boy was I taken aback. I distinctly remember being very scared and nervous and visibly shaking when I went into the clinic to have my procedures before. The nurses were warm and compassionate but the doctor was quite the opposite. He was very aggressive and showed me no mercy or bedside manner while performing my abortion. I remember the first time that it hurt just a little and I barely felt the dilation but I remember that I was crying (obviously I was experiencing emotional conflict about the decision I had to make) and the doctor said rudely “I cant keep going until you stop all that crying”. I remember looking at him confused and shocked and then at the nurse to confirm if he really just said that and if the nurse was offended by it as well and she kind of just did this avoiding eye contact look away and remained silent. I stopped crying and I got the procedure but I felt absolutely degraded. The second time I was there, it was much worse. The pain was an immediate 10 from the moment he started touching me. It’s like he was just ramming those rods inside of me and I screamed out in pain and he started to stand and take his gloves off saying “I can’t deal with this. You can just leave and we won’t do it”. I begged him not to end the procedure. Again, I adjusted myself and I took a deep breath to brace for the next wave of pain because I couldn’t leave without the procedure. I remember when I left, I was bleeding so bad and I had so much pain that I honestly thought he damaged something inside me. Now, reading all these reviews I see that he’s still there and wreaking havoc on emotionally distressed women at their most vulnerable and dark moments. I will be seeking medical attention elsewhere. I refuse to experience that again.

I can say that the staffs were very nice, the doctor hes was ok, its just that, Ive never knew that dilating your cervix hurt SOOOOO BAD, I mean everybody pain tolerance is different, as for me, I cant handle it so, I wouldnt be getting another abortion.... The Dr. Patted some people on the back, but not me I guess because I scream, and I didnt like that favoritism part, because, Ive never felt pain like that before, I guess the yelling pissed him off, But Im not discouraging anyway, go at your own risk.... 1 to 3 min YOURE be done....

I had my abortion here and it seemed ok a week later I’m in pain and nauseous. I go to the er but the wait was so long I went home, dealt with it till day 9 I called the ambulance at 2:30am got transferred to Tallahassee all to be rushed into emergency surgery and told I have endometriosis and my reproductive system was messed up.

First visit was pleasurable. The office is very clean, secured, and the staff was friendly. I feel they are working as fast as they can with the number of women waiting and provides very detailed info and great resources. I arrived around 10:30am and left at 1pm. Before leaving you will meet the doctor to make sure you’re a good candidate for the procedure you choose. During this time you’ll get an ultrasound and find out how many weeks you are before your final appointment. The doctor did not seem personable ( he had a lack of eye contact), but I did not take it personal. He was respectful, ask if I had any questions, and I never felt uncomfortable. I personally believe he was over worked/exhausted but he still was being his best. #UpdatedReviewOn09/25/23 #secondvisitwaspainful The doctor is very rough. I screamed and cried. They give minimum gas. I felt mistreated. I’ve had a surgical procedure before and only felt pressure. This was excruciating. Unimaginable pain. He scraped and dig like nobody’s business. I ask him to stop. It was that painful. He showed no compassion. Didn’t talk much or offered comforting words. It’s almost like he gets pleasure out of your pain. Staff was very nice.

Go to WOMEN’S PRESIDENTIAL CENTER in West Palm Beach, FL. Yes, it is 6 hours away but you will understand why they have 5 stars and this place does not.Do not waste your time, resources and energy here like I did. What a mistake.After scheduling my appointment 2 weeks out, there was a 4/5 hour long wait only to have met with a staff member for 10 minutes and then the doctor for 15 . Then being sent home expecting to have my procedure the following week only to be told 1 day prior I was not eligible because they scheduled me past their procedure timeline.Having heard this news I tried to be understanding and get things in order. I needed my paperwork to submit at the new facility so I did not have to wait another 24 hours according to the FL law again however, THIS facility made it extremely difficult. I asked if they could send all my paperwork to the email on file or fax it but they would not budge . Luckily, I still had the day off to drive several hours to pick up paperwork only to be met with resistance at the front entrance. It took another 4 hours to receive my papers….I am disappointed. The situation is already a stressful one. I thought their staff would extend help and care but not here .Honestly , if you can go to the first appointment (sign the paperwork) and MAKE SURE you get a copy of all your paperwork ( risk forms and all), pay cash* ( they MAY give you a cash refund - with a debit card they will NOT refund) cancel your procedure here at this place and go to Women’s Presidential for the procedure; you will be cared for there like a human being versus a number . You will need to submit the risk form and all paperwork to Women’s Presidential to set an appointment date with them .As I was sitting in the waiting room at my first appointment at North Florida’s Women Swevices there were women coming back for their 6 week check up expressing how in THIS facility you will experience unbelievable pain and the “laughing gas/anesthesia” given does not help one bit.I extend my empathy to the many women they have not properly cared for here . I am not sponsored by Women’s Presidential Center in anyway but they really cared for me and my well being so I know they will for anyone else too. The whole entire staff was very nice , they made the experience very comfortable!!! I got the surgical abortion. During the process there was very peaceful music,Zen type, it automatically put me at ease. Then a very lovely recovery room where there is heating pads and recliners with a TV with lofi music. And a very sweet lady monitoring you. Keep in mind there is pain during the process but its apart of the procedure. It only last 1 to 3 minutes. And cramps may very after. I highly recommend. Because the whole entire staff and the Dr give the most pleasant experience possible for this difficult time. : To the Dr and rest of the staff, I appreciate all that you all do.

They were so so unbelievably rude. Expect to wait two hours+ and to not be treated like a human being. they make this process 100x worse than it needs to be and do everything in their power to make you feel alone. they also get annoyed when you ask basic questions. appointments can take over a week or even two and they will make follow-up appointments without verifying with you first. this is the worst experience ive ever had. if you have any other choices go with those.

The staff is very professional and sweet. I have no issues with the way the facility is being operated. I am not here to deter anyone from using services at this clinic. Just want to review my experience. This wasnt my first experience with a surgical abortion. I had one about 4 years ago and it was not painful and the experience was literally 1 minute. My experience with the surgical abortion with North Florida Womens clinic is that I feel that the equipment is outdated. The doctor was just fishing blindly inside my uterus. I dont know how they would be able to tell if the embryo/fetus is out. There was no ultrasound the day of to pinpoint where the suction should occur. I felt that viable tissue was suctioned out and it was the most painful thing I have had to endure. I have even went through labor and delivery before and the pain superceded that. I dont feel that particular method with that equipment is the best to ensure termination. There should be more modern technology to help guide the doctor to see exactly what he or she is doing.

This was my first abortion and I was scared. I got there late but they still seen me and just charged me a $25 late fee which was still ok seeing as tho it still was $300 cheaper than where I was driving from. I waited 3 hours before the procedure started. The doctor introduced himself and The Young lady that was going to be there in the room with me. I will not lie IT HURTED. But understand my pain tolerance is at a 0. But the young lady in the room held my hand and talked me through the entire process. (The lady with the green in her hair, Melissa)She made me feel comfortable and in 1 minute I was done. The doctor rubbed my shoulder when he was done and told me it was gone be ok. I did scream and they asked me not to and I didn’t. The recovery room was a big help and was very clean. The young lady in there was great. Don’t worry about the reviews. Go if u need to. The people are very nice including the doctor.

Having an unplanned pregnancy can be a trying time for any woman but this place makes you feel extremely comfortable. I got the surgical procedure and even though it was a bit painful i felt at ease with the nitrous gas and the woman that held my hand. The nurse in the room let me know step by step what was happening so i had no questions. The doctor was kind, professional, and did an amazing job. After the procedure i went to recovery which had big recliner chairs and a relaxing environment. I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in a bad situation.

Dont let the bad reviews/lack of reviews scare you. I was in the waiting room for maybe half an hour and there were at least 15-20 women in and out as well. The people here will take amazing care of you. I was so terrified that my knees wouldnt stop shaking (the entire. time.) I never want to have to go through the kind of emotional pain I went through again, but if I did, Id come here. Theyre all experienced, kind, and so very patient. Also, a tip: when youre driving up, youre gonna see that crisis center before you find this building. Your GPS may tell you you have arrived, but keep following the street. You have to round a right or two past that darn crisis center, and then your real destination is gonna be on your right.

Nice staff from front desk, person taking blood/going over paperwork, doc, and recovery staff. During the surgical, the staff offer support and describe every step of the way. The calming music was unexpected and a major plus!!! Comfortable recovery room. Not too many people booked at the same time like other places. No long waiting times, which helped mentally for me❤️ I suggest this place to anyone making this difficult decision.

After accidentally walking into the Womens Clinic next door, I missed my appointment at North Florida Womens Services for an abortion. A few nurses were closing up the office when I arrived. I was crying and told them about what I had just experienced. They went back into the office and scheduled me for the first morning appointment the next day. The entire staff at this office is nothing but kind, understanding and helpful. It is a safe space for women.

When I made my appointment here for an abortion I couldnt find any reviews and that was a bit scary. However, I made my appt. a week in advance and attended. The staff made me feel more comfortable than the average doctors office. They provided snacks and drinks afterwards for my nausea. I HIGHLY reccomend the medicine abortion over the vaginal vacuume abortion. Its much less painful. The decision for getting an abortion is not an easy one but they make you feel like your decision is your own and they dont pressure you towards anything. No static when you walk in the door and a relaxing waiting room.

Amazing, genuine, and caring staff. Doctor is so personable and kind and the most helpful doctor I’ve ever met. Completely judgement free environment, staff willing to go above and beyond by sharing some of their personal stories, holding my hand, and just being so gentle and kind. There’s an anti abortion clinic in the same complex that purposefully puts out harmful propaganda to deter women from coming to this facility. In addition, the anti-abortion clinic PURPOSEFULLY changed the google location of this complex to THEIR complex so that women would walk into their facility instead of seeking an appointment here. At North Florida Women’s Services, I was treated with respect, integrity, honesty, compassion, and kindness

Appointment was at 9:30 waited in the lobby for 2 hours just to be told that I had to turn in my paperwork before I can be seen and people that walked in after me was seen before me and they still had their paperwork with them! Worst experience ever!

This office makes you feel so comfortable and cared for at what can be a trying time. This is the only place in Tallahassee to obtain abortion services and they do a stellar job on all fronts. Be carful that you do not walk into the fake clinic very near by. Dont listen to the bad reviews as theyre most likely propaganda.

The first and last time I’ve ever gotten an abortion, the pain that I endured was horrible .The male doctor that I had was really aggressive.The “laughing gas “ didn’t seem to be on because I felt ABSOLUTELY everything. It was horrible having to go through that alone (they wouldn’t allow my mom into the facility) and a month later I was still some how pregnant.and here I am 3 months pregnant

This is so annoying . I requested an appointment with them the day I found out I was pregnant which was March 27th, today is April 5th. I haven’t heard from them so I’m reaching out to call them and the lady answers the phone and tells me “one second” and places me on hold . I don’t know what I was on hold for but after 10 minutes go by I hang up and call back she answers (doesn’t say anything) places me on hold and these steps repeat for about 3 times before I get fed up and come write a review .

Supervisor needs to learn her role and perform her job better she literally told me there wasn’t any appointments because I didn’t know my last period then 2 seconds later there are appointments next week then told me I need to slow my role like I’m her kid because I stated I had already spoke to somebody from the office and literally just wanted to know availability availability

I had to resort to abortion for the third time in my life regrettably 13 weeks Was one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve had multiple kids I also heard at least two other patients screaming and crying whirl getting their procedure It was so painful it felt like I was being punished as if the dr had some type of aggression towards me I will never recommend The environment was nice but once I was in procedure room experiencing the pain I would never and I took it in an accepted it until I heard the other girls scream Something doesn’t sit right with me about this dr or what happened today

This was the hardest decision I ever had to make but they made me feel so comfortable and the had a lot of compassion I would recommend them I’d this is something you have to do thank you for everything❤️

Good service very private no negatively and never ask questions.. Took the chance and drove 3 hrs. I highly recommend this place
