Womens Clinic

I came here two years ago after a pretty intense experience that I had for health reasons and the doctor I had I absolutely loved her. She is very kind and sweet. However, I have heard a few things about clinics and free ones and how a lot of times they are very religious and persuasive. And I did experience that both times I was there. There was definitely the sense of feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable, almost like I used to feel when I was in a religion. It was quite uncomfortable. The only reason I’m giving two stars is for the doctor herself, but I have to knock off three stars because of the overall energy from the other staff members. One lady when I was just putting information in, was very persistent on asking me if I have had any children since I’ve been there last year, and when I repeatedly said no, and I made a joke, saying thank God, lol she gave me quite the disgusted face and walked out of the room. And I just got off the call with one of the receptionist did not seem very eager to help me out with my questions. In fact, she seemed quite annoyed after asking me if I had healthcare or Medicaid, and I repeated I did not. So the only benefit of this place is the once a year free Testing but I don’t know if I even completely trust that. As women A scary time like we are living in now we need to have a safe place to go to be completely raw and honest about our health concerns without feeling persuade or judgment based on our decisions. Do better.

My (coerced) experience at this clinic was horrifying. I left shaking, confused and scared, after having to force my way out of this building. So now, 6 years later.. Im editing my rating to include a description of why. The directions misled me to this location. At check-in, they pretend as if everything is good, like you are at the right location (but it feels off). From there, they coaxed me past the check-in to a room in the back, contiuining the guise. And yes, once in the room... I start noticing a weird vibe for SURE. They start talking about getting an ultrasound and keeping the pregnancy. They love me, god loves me, etc... Then I try to get up and leave, of course. They wouldnt let me. They began to try to forcibly keep me there against my will by having two nurses hold me down with hugs. Im being dead serious... I guess its not a crime if its hugs, right? This whole time, im visibly upset, beginning to cry, asking to be let go, trying to push them off of me. After a minute of this, they did end up letting me break free. I ran away as fast as i could. Got in boyfriends car and began sobbing.I think that most people can agree that this is morally objectionable.. Regardless of where you may stand on abortion rights.And at the very least, I think everyone can agree that it is definitely ILLEGAL . Im so sorry to anybody else who had to go through this.

I recently visited this womens clinic and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel completely at ease. The clinic itself is immaculate, reflecting their high standards of cleanliness. I had an enlightening conversation with the counselor, who was both knowledgeable and compassionate. For anyone seeking care for womens health issues, I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. Their kindness doesnt end with their sweet demeanor; they also offer Free services for those in need, ensuring you receive the care you deserve without the stress of cost. They prioritize your safety and comfort, transforming my initial nervousness into a feeling of security. This clinic doesnt just offer healthcare; they provide a supportive community that genuinely cares about your wellbeing.

Only second time visiting this place; but these ladies are so nice and welcoming! It can be scary, especially if you have not been a lot of times, but everyone was amazing during the process! They even held my hand during my well exam! Highly recommend if you are younger, and are not familiar with getting exams!

Was referred here by a friend. My experience was pretty good no complaints. I called and was able to get an appointment the same week (Normally for most offices appointments are scheduled weeks out) so I pretty happy about that. Once I was seen in the office the visit didnt take forever to be completed. The staff were all really nice, informative, and helpful. I dont currently have insurance so it felt good being able to get seen without being treated poorly. If youre looking for something that they dont offer they offer you resources that can assist or at least point you in the right direction. It genuinely felt like a safe space.

Great option if you are uninsured. The staff are professional and educate you on any questions you may have. I was treated with no cost (except pharmacy meds) and learned a few things about my health thanks to the amazing nurse practitioner they have on staff.

I am so grateful for this place! It’s got a really classy atmosphere, and you can really tell everyone cares about women’s health. NotTo mention their pricing and ease of scheduling/availability is waaaay better and easier than my pcp- who is far more expensive and harder to get in with. Will go there for anything I need.

This office is warm/welcoming, I was able to find my comfort and build rapport with my counselor instantly! All of the staffs are friendly and the environments is very calm.

Shortly after having me sign a form stating that no religious views had been discussed, the staff began to ask me to keep an open heart to their religious views. I agree with the comments below that you cannot receive unbiased medical care here. I was lied to on the phone about services provided and then berated for almost two hours.

Amazing place for young women! Had my consultation today and staff was very friendly. Answered any questions I had and provided me with very helpful information regarding my health. Definitely a judge free zone I definitely recommend

This is the BEST womens clinic i have ever been too. The staff is so patient,caring and friendly. The atmosphere you couldnt ask for a nicer place with peace and tranquility while waiting on the doctor. I love it and would highly recommend it to everyone.....you wont be disappointed!!!!!

I absolutely love this clinic. They’ve created such a warm and safe environment for women to feel comfortable getting tested. They explain EVERYTHING thoroughly before they begin. You have plenty of opportunities to ask questions if you’re unsure about anything. There’s no judgement, they accept your choices but they just want you to be informed of other alternatives to better protect yourself. These women truly want the best for you and you can really feel that when you’re there. They’re truly heaven sent. I’d definitely recommend visiting their office!

The NP is very knowledgeable. I was able to get a papsmear and blood work for $100.00 with no insurance. I love their patient portal as I was able to access my lab work immediately. I definitely highly recommend and will be returning even after my insurance kicks in.

This place is by far phenomenal. The staff has exceptional customer service and just over all compassion. I needed a pregnancy confirmation immediately since my OBGYN couldn’t see me for a few weeks. Being that this was a first time pregnancy for me I was extremely nervous and didn’t know what to expect. When I came in they were extremely nice and provided me with tons of information. My husband and I relocated to another state and they still called to check up on us every once and a while, you can’t find that kind of customer service anywhere!

I came in for the women’s wellness service. There was no difficulty in the payment area, since I don’t have insurance I was eligible for the free service. It’s a really nice place. The vibe is calm & peaceful Everything is conducted smoothly & in a timely manner. The doctors were really nice. It was my first time there so they walked me through everything & made sure that I was comfortable with all the procedures. It was an overall great service.

I couldn’t get into my PCP for a couple of months so I dropped into the Women’s Clinic and fell in love. I was greeted with an exceptional experience in a beautiful boutique space that provided me with health education from a variety of staff. Knowledgeable Health advocates, charismatic nurses and amazing doctors are housed within this office. Every one with a womb should receive the type of care that the Women’s Clinic provides for their medical services.

This clinic is a 100% amazing. They not only do a great job with helping you for the reason you came, but they also get to know you. The first time I arrive I was a little skeptical of the place but once you step in the rooms there are amazing and comforting. Before asking you the reason you came, they get to know you on a personal level and also remember who you are when you call. I feel that this place is underated its an amazing clinic and it will always be my only clinic choice in tallahassee.P.S: they didnt ask me to give a review and Im not an employee there.

Making an appointment here was quick and easy; I was able to get an appointment without having to wait weeks; and the staff was friendly and respectful.Dr. Perez was caring and thorough, and the nurse Shari was kind and understanding. If you are need of an annual check-up but lack the funds or insurance is an issue this is a good place to start.

Went here for a pregnancy test due to unexpected bleeding. Everyone was very nice and accommodating at first but when I returned two weeks later for the result of my sti test results (couldn’t be given over the phone) I had to sit through a 30 minute lecture on their opinions on premarital sex. The women were condescending and honestly factually incorrect in the information they were spewing at me. They were not helpful in any way. They wasted my time. This women’s clinic is a trap.

All the staff were very friendly and they helped me solve all my doubts. It has been one of the best womens clinics that I have been to.

I called right when they opened and got an appointment the same day! My appointment was at 1 and they had me out at 1:30! Very clean office, very friendly staff, doctors, and practitioners! Also I don’t have insurance and the co pay was actually reasonable and way cheaper than going to patient first! HIGHLY recommend coming here for any of your girl problems.

My entire experience was great here!! The staff was nice and very informative. The place is nice, clean, and comfortable. I am glad, The Womens Clinic is here in Tallahassee; to offer such great program and services.

The ladies that work here are loving and compassionate. They believe in helping women in every challenge that they may be facing. If you are looking for a place that can provide the best care for you or your family and friends, the Womens Clinic of Tallahassee is fantastic.

I walked into this clinic by accident a few years ago. I thought I was walking into North Florida Womens Services where I had an appointment to get an abortion. Just be aware that they will act as if you are in the correct place, make you write down your personal information, take you into a secluded room where they try & convince you to not have an abortion and shame you. Not only that, but they had me get an ultrasound and even print pictures for me. All of which I did not want. At the time I was 21 years old without a clue of what was going on. I am writing this review now to try & help any women that might accidentally walk into the same situation that I did. It is a shame what they are doing here.

The entire staff in this establishment show a great amount of respect & care. I came in for the first time & was treated with one of the best customer service ive ever seen. Keep up the great work ! I definitely recommend this place especially if youre looking to get a Womens check up on yourself.

This is a crisis pregnancy center that definitely includes their own religious views. This is not a place to get unbiased medical care. Please be safe and find somewhere else to get advice and care if you can.

The receptionists Lisa & Anabelle (everyone there really) were just so sweet, welcoming and genuinely wanted to make the experience as easy and painless as possible. The nurses who helped were also wonderful.

I left this clinic because I have never felt so JUDGED in my life. It doesn’t clearly state that it’s Christian based but it is. If you have premarital sex, sex for pleasure, sex without the intent of a relationship or creating a baby, DONT GO HERE! The judgement I got from the advocate was degrading and humiliating. If you don’t get to know me, or where I come from than don’t put your PERSONAL opinions on me. Instead of encouraging me for even coming I got attacked for the assumption created in her own head. Just cause you have a soft voice doesn’t mean your understanding.

I take my daughter to this place because she have babby on the inside and I want them take it out because it is hurt her. This nice man sit in room with us and tell us that babby is gift of mister god and jesus. He say that we can no remove baby because it alive and will make mister god and jesus angry. I tell him that baby is no alive and my daughter say that babby make her pain. I say I give babby to daughter, it was big mistake that I not mean for happen. We go to behind the dumpster so no one see, I mean to stop before babby go inside but it happen all so fast. I say that I am father and I say is okay for him take babby out, I say that daughter is 14 and old enough for surgery and he say that mister god and jesus get very mad at me and her and him if he take babby out and that other family will take babby if we no want. I ask him why other family will want babby if has been through intestine of 14 year old girl.

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. PLEASE.I was going for an Abortion at NFWHC LITERALLY DOWN THE ROAD a little over a year ago. Not only did they NOT tell me I was in the wrong place and I IN FACT DID NOT have an appointment, they let me fill out paperwork WITH MY SENSITIVE INFO ON IT INCLUDING SSN. This is a crisis pregnancy center. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE SEEKING AN ABORTION. THE ABORTION CLINIC IS A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. my bf had to bang in their door to get back to me. Do. Not. Go. Here. Please.The clinic you’re looking for, if you’re seeking an abortion, has BLUE DOUBLE DOORS DOWN THE ROAD. Because of them I Missed my appointment, but NFWHC still took me because they care.

This office is a CPC or Crisis Pregnancy Center which does not provide medical care, but will shame its patrons for use of birth control, asking about concerns of sex and STD/STIs and will tell women lies about side effects to birth control. Do not go here if you are seeking valid medical advice and dont want Catholic propaganda to leave you running out the door, crying.

My experience with this company was terrible. Clinics like this by law have the opportunity to be sick and manipulative. They to try to coax women whom have done their research and are not interested in having a child, into making life altering decisions. Don’t even call them if you are actually looking for an abortion please save your time and energy because it’s very traumatizing!!!!

They call themselves Womens Health Care Clinic, but you wont get birth control here (although they will take your IUD or Nexplanon OUT). They provide no referrals for abortion care; in fact, its pretty much their mission to talk you out of accessing abortion. Beware, if you are considering all options!

The Womens Clinic of Tallahassee provides a caring and non-judgmental environment for women who are facing unplanned pregnancy or need STD testing. They are very helpful in providing explanations needed to make informed decisions and make healthy choices.

Honestly anne made me feel extremely uncomfortable and she was very judgmental the entire time. Overall experience was a 1/10 don’t recommend.

I love it here. Everybody is so friendly. They educate you and make sure you know everything that is going on. Barely any wait time. If In need, I highly recommend it.

This is not a womens clinic; only a place to stop you from seeking actual medical attention for an unwanted pregnancy. They will only push their Christian ideals on you, and not help you at all. They wont even send you to the right place if you are seeking factual abortion information.The true womens clinic is right behind this one: North Florida Womens Health, whose information you can find on the Planned Parenthood website.

Everyone is so nice and supportive and informative. I loved my experience. I would recommend them to anyone in the area, especially since all of their services are free.
