Planned Parenthood - Warren Health Center

This location provided me with excellent care. I highly recommend them for how easy it was to book online, how friendly they were on the phone, how quickly I was received and taken back to the office on site, how clean the facility is, and how WONDERFUL Dr. Chelsea was. I am a grown woman that is tired of dealing with the red tape, run around, and challenging logistics of traditional healthcare/insurance. I needed my annual wellness exam and when I remembered Planned Parenthood I have to say everything was taken care of perfectly at every step of my experience. I even got very clear pricing from them when I asked before hand! Oh and the post lab experience? Also top notch! I got my results in only a couple of days and was notified twice (even though all was well) which I found to be very thorough and EXCELLENT. Im so grateful for this experience and will return to them for my next annual exams. Thank you Planned Parenthood!

This is ABSOLUTELY a population reduction center. Killing your own offspring is the opposite of reproductive rights. It is not cool or virtuous. They want you gone forever from this Earth. These are the facilities they use. They lied to me in 2019 here and told me a Hep B. outbreak was happening and I needed to get a vaccine to prevent getting it from everyday contact. Now I find out that is impossible and they were ordered to say that to jab me. Not sure if the Dr.s really know what they are doing or not.

It is very easy to get care that feels safe here. Im someone who avoids going to the doctor as much as possible due to the reputation of the general healthcare system, however, the care I receive here is always stellar. The doctor I spoke with was attentive, compassionate, informative, and did not push specific treatment plans. She asked how I felt about the options she provided, and we proceeded from there. I also tend to have a hard time explaining my health problems to healthcare providers, and that is seldom a problem at this clinic. The doctor I spoke to asked me appropriate questions to get as much information as she could in order to help me. I will certainly continue care at this clinic 👏

I came here in 2020 to have my nexplanon replaced as my insurance would not cover it at the time. I originally had it placed elsewhere in 2017 and was told there it would only last 3 years and if I was getting my period without having had it to get it replaced. When I asked to have it removed several staff members insisted that it had a 5 year lifespan and argued with me about it. I went to my new gyno yesterday as I was having horrible periods and was told it only lasts 3 years...again. So I have been without my birth controls protection for 6 months now. Never again will I go here.

I love this place. The receptionist, nurse and Dr are all so sweet and caring. They all seem to genuinely care... answered all of my questions and did not feel rushed. I really appreciate these wonderful people and everything they do to help anyone they can. I definitely recommend this one. Thank you so much ladies.

I went there in about may and forgot to write a review about it but just wanted to share that if you’re scared to get your IUD taken out or even scared to go there it’s worth it they were all super nice and it feel really cool to be surrounded by people who don’t judge you and try to make sure you’re comfortable in all of it

I had an appointment scheduled weeks in advance. When I showed up, they claimed they had called/left a vm and sent an email. I never received either. And the receptionist was a bit rude. I had to ask her to speak up twice because she was mumbling. For a place that revolves around support and compassion, she sure didnt care to be there at all, browsing through her phone. It was a blessing though, I found a better, safer place to help me out. Planned parenthood is the scum of michigan.

I had my Nexplanon implant removed here and have nothing but good things to say!! All of the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. I had a lot of anxiety going into this appointment but my nerves were calmed very quickly and the entire procedure was completely painless:)

I’ve been to the Livonia, Warren, and Ferndale locations and they’ve all been good but this one is definitely my favorite. I had an IUD put in today & it went so much better than I anticipated. The clinician was so kind & gentle. The staff is always so nice! I think wait times can sometimes extend because they actually take the time to talk with each patient and answer questions rather than shooing you out the door.

Everyone here was so kind! I had an exam and an iud removal and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Yes, you may have to wait 15 min past your appointment time and you may see someone get called back before you that arrived after you, but that happens at every medical office I’ve ever been in and it’s literally no big deal. Service and bedside manner was exceptional and made my iud removal a breeze. Low to no cost women’s health clinics like this are a NECESSITY in every community.

The staff is great. They’re just super slow at everything. Then they never call people in order of the appointment time. Like who wants to spend their whole day waiting. That’s why i pick morning appointments and still end up being there for 2-4 hours. Like planned parenthood just not this location

Staff is always friendly but the wait here is absolutely unacceptable. Appointment was at 3 and wasn’t called back until 3:45, didn’t end up getting birth control shot until 5. Definetly not okay, you are better off driving to a farther PP because this one is not worth it and your time will be wasted.

I went to Planned Parenthood to get my copper IUD. I had to wait an hour in the waiting room. The clinician who inserted my IUD, Sophie, was so nice and helpful. She talked me through the whole process and made it an easy experience.

While the wait was a bit long- it’s like that at any dr office. Aside from that, every staff member treated me with respect, and they were extremely thorough. They set my mind at ease and answered my questions without blowing me off like every other GYN I’ve been to. The sliding scale is so helpful. I am not insured so a 27 dollar appointment is much more manageable than stressing over a 300 dollar bill. Thank you!

Id highly recommend driving a little extra to a different location.This is the second time theyve canceled an appointment without notifying me. I had to stop going to this location because their resources are not easily accessible.They canceled my appointment right before I arrived and they wanted me to wait a month for another appointment.

Everyone i spoke to was incredibly sweet and helpful, they made sure i was comfortable and answered any questions i had, and they also got me on the specific medication i need !!! we didnt have to wait long at all, and when talking to the clinicians, they were very straightforward and efficient. i genuinely have zero complaints, they were wonderful!

I got an IUD here by Sophie, she is really the best. She answered my questions through the app and was super nice about the process and post-care.

This Health Center is a wonderful, judgment free zone. They helped me to find the contraceptive that was right for me when I found out that my health care stopped paying for the doctor that I previously going to. Everybody Ive had the pleasure of encountering so far really makes me feel like they care about me and my health, not just looking at me as another body to get in and out like at other offices. That is so very important: they care about us as women, and as humans, not as bodies. In fact, theres a section on one of their forms that offers a code name were they to contact you, should you be using a sensitive line. They also ask your preferred gender pronoun and preferred name-- thats so respectful. Even though it is a bit of a drive, Ill happily continue using this Health Center, as they provide the most safe and comforting experience available, regardless of the situation.

These people are always good to me. The shots are quick and easy. Never had an issue with any of the staff. One thing I dont like is the wait times. Even when theres no one, but me it takes me minimum 15 minutes to be seen, but then my shot takes a whole 2 minutes and im on my way.

Very welcoming office and the staff were all super nice! They answered questions and listened to issues, have good advice as well. Im so glad we have a resource like this near by! This was my first time going but Ill be going at least yearly now got exams and help

I had a HORRIBLE pap exam here. She used three different speculums and also insulted my genitals appearance. They were extremely unprofessional and I cant recommend this office, use a different one or gyno altogether.

Be prepared to wait an hour or more after your scheduled appointment time.. every time I come here it happens. Not sure why they even schedule your appointment at that time if its a consistent problem. Extremely inconvenient so be sure to plan your day around a 2-3 hour window for your appt.

I only come here for birth control and they take forever just to call me to give me my bag of birth control every time it’s about a 5 min process that turns into 20-45 mins for a pick up which is unacceptable. They have to do better for the patients

I was refused treatment of an std from this clinic. lady behind the desk discriminated against me and i walked out of this place that’s supposed to help people untreated. expect a lawsuit this location needs to be shut down immediately.

I called 5 times on my way for an 11:30 appointment because i live 30 minutes out and wanted to let them know i would be running late i arrive at 11:44 they tell me at 11:45 i can’t be seen because there’s a 15 minute grace period. K

I definitely support planned parenthood but I waited over a hour for a prescription pickup. I don’t think that’s remotely acceptable.

They beyond slow. Every other PP has been extremely speedy. Hour and a 45 minute wait. Everybody was complaining about how slow they are. Go to Ferndale or Detroit PP.

The best place that Ive visited they were so kind and patience. And everything was on time Im so thankful with this clinic.

The clinician Did not accurately record our conversation in my notes which lead for a big headache in my follow up appointment. Ending up causing a big headache I will not go back to this location.

I showed up to my appointment and the office was closed. No notifications or anything. Very unprofessional

Staff was super nice and informative. I was very comfortable being there. All my questions were answered in a way i could understand.

If I could give it zero starts I would its impossible to get an appointment and when you you they cancel it with out telling you

Never answer the phones, practically impossible to make appointments, all workers are disrespectful and rude.

Good staff . Always treat people good. Sometimes its a long wait but worth it !
