Do not patron this place for your fertility needs, especially as a woman of color. I called TRICARE and my PCP, filed a complaint and transferred care. I have never been so disrespected and hurt by a medical professional. Dr. John E. Nichols, who is the founder and director, was so insensitive. When I walked into his office, I immediately picked up on his demeanor but, wanted to give the benefit of the doubt because of my deep desire for information, reassurance, and pregnancy after miscarriage. When I sat down, he did not ask for my consent for a resident to come in. He exclaimed that he did not have a chart for me but, as I tried to explain my conditions, he was more concerned with talking than listening. I stopped him immediately to correct and remind him to LISTEN. After that incident, the appointment went fairly well. I thought he was aligned with my goals and listening to my concerns….until he abruptly interrupted and asked “so, why do you want to get pregnant?”. I wish I could copy and paste his tone. This was not asking. This was condescending and rude. He mentioned my health concerns with my thyroid and parathyroid but THAT IS WHY I WAS REFERRED TO HIM! He is a FERTILITY ENDOCRINOLOGIST asking me about my reasons for pregnancy?!?! I immediately felt the tears coming and told him how insensitive he was. At first, he denied being insensitive and then tried to give a backhanded apology of “I’m sorry if I made you feel that way.” I corrected him again. It’s not how I feel, there’s just things you shouldn’t say to a woman who’s miscarried, concerned, has thyroid issues and YOU’RE A FERTILITY ENDOCRINOLOGIST WITH AN ENDOCRINE PRACTICE. Not only did I walk out hysterically crying but I felt so low. Like, what did I do to deserve that? What makes matters worse is that, before the appointment ended, I told him that I would never be under his care because of his treatment of patients and turns out, it’s HIS PRACTICE. I was so excited to come to this appointment and I didn’t imagine I would leave in distress. If you are remotely considering this place, do not go in there alone. Please take a support person for protection and patient advocacy. Please take heed to this warning: A doctor should never make you feel like this, and if they do, LEAVE.

Beyond amazed by our care at Preg Columbia. Dr. Nichols explained everything so clearly and made us feel 100% heard and taken care of. The whole staff was very welcoming and helpful! Success with IVF after 1 transfer! Thank you so much for our little rainbow!

Omg! I’ll be 13 weeks tomorrow my husband and I did IVF with gender selection, self pay 💰, and our experience was wonderful at the Columbia location. We had a recommendation from a surgeon that went there and we traveled an hour and a half from Georgia to go. I pray each and everyone of you looking into this have a wonderful experience. They answered all my questions and tended to my every need. We graduated about a month ago and now we’re seeing a high risk OB and all is going well. Blessing in your PREG journey.

Dr. Imgrund and her team are the absolute best! We are happy to announce our miracle baby will be arriving in March of next year. Graduating from PREG was not a goodbye but a see you later — We can’t wait to bring our little babe back to the clinic for a visit so that our favorite staff can hold them ✨❤️

I had a pleasant experience at PREG, after having unsuccessful attempts at other fertility clinics. I appreciated that my medical team at PREG created an individualized plan for me based on my specific needs. During my time undergoing treatment, I unfortunately experienced a pregnancy loss. During that difficult time, my doctor and medical team supported me with the upmost sensitivity and offered tons of encouragement. Thanks to PREG, I have been able to grow my family and I am living the life I once dreamed of.

Thanks to PREG, I’m writing this review while rocking my napping, tiny miracle. They made an impossibility feel possible - and then that impossibility became a 7lb, 7oz reality. I’m just over a month into motherhood and will be forever appreciative for the difficult conversations, education, and encouragement from Dr. Kathryn Imgrund. She made our empty arms feel less heavy in a trying season. She got us to the other side of infertility with PCOS and she did so with a genuine, gentle heart. We are also grateful for the support and kindness of the doctors and other medical staff within the practice for various procedures throughout our journey that got us to our first positive pregnancy test. Thanks to all of them collectively, another heartbeat has been added to our family; having the opportunity to see it on an ultrasound screen for the first time all those months ago is still an indescribable joy.

The doctor (Kathryn Imgrund), nurses, and staff are amazing and timely with appointments. Nurses been great calling back with updates. Learned a lot about my pcos condition and had my first successful IUI. Friendly staff. Currently 6 weeks pregnant.

I highly recommend PREG!! The facilities are clean and beautiful. The scheduling is great and I never have a long wait. I have really enjoyed working with ALL of the staff at PREG! I have worked primarily with Dr. Cookingham (who is extremely kind and knowledgeable); however, I have also worked with other doctors (like Dr. Imgrund) who have all been fantastic and personable. Nurse Michaela, Nurse Erica and Nurse Hannah have been my angels as I have moved through this process. They have always gone above and beyond, communicating and checking on me every step of the way. I used to be super scared of needles but Genesis has cured me! I am not exaggerating… she is skilled and I do not feel the needles at all! After most appointments, I check out with Kristen who is always SO kind on top of everything. One time I had an issue with Quest overcharging me. I called and spoke to my angel, Tamara (in billing). She helped me to get that handled plus more. She became a person who always checks on me and supports me with EVERYTHING! When I go to PREG, I feel like I am among my family. I feel like they care about me and my situation. I feel very confident that I will continue to reach my goals at PREG! Highly recommend!!Update: I had my healthy baby girl Feb 2024 💕

Honestly, I would like to put a rating below -0-. I thought I was receiving good treatment until I changed providers and received GREAT TREATMENT. Mrs. Holly (finance) is the BEST. I noticed she receives many negative reviews here; I am unsure why because she is fantastic. I spoke with her several times during this complicated process; she was a total blessing. I also love Ms. Genesis (labs). Dr.Fru was my doctor. However, she was on leave each time I started treatment, so I was transferred to Dr.Cookingham , and Ill sum it up as Negligence and Nightmare. I then went to Coastal Fertility, and Dr. Cook was my physician. Look at the names. How ironic. Dr. Cook is an example of a TRUE FERTILITY SPECIALIST. On my very 1st visit with her, I realized I had undergone treatments for years with PREG that would have never been successful, and S/O TO DR. R. KNOWLTON **THE BEST OBGYN IN SC** Thanks to Dr.Cook & Dr.Knowlton I now have a possibility to conceive!! -->I would not recommend PREG to anyone

As a disclaimer, I am a physician. Me and my wife used PREG for two rounds of IVF and results were dismal. When we switched to their local competitor and did two more cycles, results were incredible. Such a big difference make me question their techniques. Now lost embryo lawsuit with Cooper Surgical and their defective growth medium are in the news, I am now wondering if PREG used the products which might have affected the end result. I am still waiting for answers from PREG about if they used Cooper Surgical products.

I saw Dr. Kathryn Imgrund while working with PREG in Columbia. She was great, very insightful, and very likable. She is a gem!

By far the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. Was treated terribly from the time I walked in. The front desk agent asked me if I had filled out all the paperwork online. I told her I believe so( first time honestly wasn’t sure ). She handed me a clip board full of paperwork. I glanced down noticed the first page and stated hey I filled this one out. So she looks at me and so you did fill it out, I told her I’m not sure if everything was online are you able to check my account to see if you have everything you need. She stated I have three other customers I’m dealing with. I said ma’am there’s no one in the lobby but me, can you help me.? She finally looks my account and says yes it’s here sit in the waiting room. I should’ve walked out then but no didn’t want to let her devil stop me. I then proceed to meet with the doctor and she became upset that I wasn’t answering questions the way she wanted me to. She LAUGHED at my situation and categorized me as a “difficult situation “. She then left the room and brought back the office manager , the office manager sat down as the doctor asked me very private questions. I then stated I don’t feel comfortable answering your questions with someone I don’t know listening. The doctor replied back well I’m uncomfortable. Well I’m uncomfortable and I’m the patient. My comfort level wasn’t a concern to them at all. I then had a meeting with the office manager and asked her if I could switch doctors she attempted to convince me to stick with her. Honestly I wish I remembered names. I proceeded to get an ultra sound. I haven’t heard back from the place for over a month. But one thing they made sure of is to let me know how I could pay for services. Women don’t choose to be in this situation and they sure made me feel even worse about myself then I already did. Also they made me feel like it’s imposed to achieve the goal my family and I have planned. Needless to say. Save your time. Do not trust this place. Do not trust the doctors. Do not trust the office manager. Find another place.! ESPECIALLY if you are a women of color.I am going to write a formal complaint to Tricare. I don’t think this business should be in their network at all.

The care and compassion we received from check in to check out was exceptional. Every person we interacted with was kind, empathetic, and incredibly knowledgeable for our many questions. I would more than recommend this practice to anyone who is seeking reproductive/infertility care - the doctor took her time with us, provided us literature to take home and read over, and provided us with some invaluable hope. The financial counselor, Tamara, was the last person we interacted with and even though she was not clinical she made us laugh and smile when all I wanted to do was cry. Having this resource so close to home is truly a blessing.

I have had nothing but incredible experiences here. My husband and I came from another clinic to get a second opinion and were met with empathy and care. Every nurse is so thoughtful and the doctors truly care. They make your experience seamless from start to finish and make each exam or procedure feel not so scary. Had my first HSG today and it was painless. Don’t read the online forums! 😝

There are no words to describe the gratitude my husband and I feel towards the staff at Preg Columbia. Yesterday, we graduated the clinic and it was so incredibly bittersweet knowing we are leaving with our miracle, but also leaving the most amazing doctor and nurses. The level of care provided at Preg is unmatched - they take the time to get to know you as an individual rather than making you feel like just another patient. We truly feel like we are leaving our second family! We also want to specifically shoutout Dr. Cookingham, and our nurses, Hannah, Michaella, Katelyn, and Erica - we wish so badly that we could continue our journey with this team. I would hands down recommend Preg to anyone struggling with infertility, it was the best decision we ever made.

We could not have been happier with our experience with PREG Columbia. We were initially referred for a consultation in a time sensitive situation and they were able to get us an appointment quickly, despite it being short notice. When we were finally ready to move forward with IVF the experience was great. We never had any issues with reaching the office and communication was quick throughout the entire process and any question we had was answered. They kept to appointment times better than any other medical office Ive been to. Everyone from the IVF coordinators to lab staff to Dr. Cookingham was amazing and made the experience as easy and stress-free as possible.

I cannot recommend Preg enough. Their staff is so caring, patient, and most importantly compassionate. To be exact, NP Haley Pollack has been nothing short of amazing. Shes very knowledgeable, a great listener to your concerns, and just an overall amazing individual that not only brings families together, but also help create new ones. 10/10 recommend Preg if you have fertility issues.

My husband and I had our first appointment with Dr. Cookingham yesterday and she is awesome!! She has given us more information than any previous doctor has! We look forward to working with her!The staff was amazing as well. Very friendly and polite!!

We have been working with Doctor Cookingham and her staff for a few months now and couldnt be happier. Her whole staff has been such a joy to work with and helps with anything we may need. Michaella is our nurse, and she is amazing and has taken the time to talk to me and walk me through any questions or concerns. Tamara has been helping on the finance side and has be nothing but a huge help answering millions of questions weve had!! This is not an easy process but there is nowhere else wed rather be. If youre nervous or on edge, this is your sign... dont look anywhere else!

Dr. Cookingham was amazing!!! She is the type of doctor that asks how are you doing and waits for a response. Also I love the diversity of the staff! It was totally different from the original clinic I started working with down the street. Plus all of your procedures can be done in house and you dont have to travel! My fourth transfer and first one at PREG was successful! Thank you!!

PREG has amazing doctors, nurses and staff! Forever grateful for them and everything they did for us to get our miracle baby! Dr. Imgrund and nurse Hannah are so amazing! I would recommend them to anyone!

All the staff is kind and caring while being professional. While I am still midway through my fertility journey, I think very highly of PREG and the doctors and nurses there. Dr. Snow has taken excellent care of me, and has been forthright with me throughout the process. I particularly like working with nurses Ally and Hannah, who are responsive and patient sith me. I particularly recommend their phlebotomist, Genesis. She is very good at taking blood, I can barely feel it at all, and is kind, comforting, and honestly cares about the patients there.

I could not say enough good things about PREG. After struggling with my previous OBGYN being dismissive with my fertility battle, PREG welcomed me with open arms. I had an appointment with PREG within weeks of first calling. Dr. Tarnawa took the time to talk to me and my spouse and really explain everything to us. All of the nurses were wonderful; Crystal, Katie, and Courtney, always there to answer any questions and showed an abundance of caring. After three timed intercourse cycles and 2 IVF cycles, we were blessed with our PREG miracle boy!

First time meeting Dr. cookingham to day and she was very detailed with all I information and telling me the best option for me. Lets not forget Genisus in lab omg she made me so comfortable and very intouch with her patients. Holly in Finances was very helpful and always been my go to. I JUST LOVE THE WHOLE OFFICE ❤️

My husband and I recently moved so driving back and forth to the Summerville location a few times during the baseline appointments would be a lot being it’s 3 hours away so I am grateful for the team in Columbia who are monitoring me here and sending everything to my doctor in Summerville. I appreciate the Columbia team so much. They’re always very welcoming, kind, and have great bedside manner. Thank you!

I’ve had an okay experience at this facility. Most of the staff are very nice and friendly. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Cookingham. I also absolutely LOVE the woman in the lab, she is great and drawing blood and she couldn’t be more friendly. She put a smile on my face every time. There have been a few interactions that with various staff members that weren’t very pleasant - they seemed stressed or irritated. None like Holly the financial advisor though. I am a self pay because unfortunately the insurance I have through my employer (I’m a nurse) doesn’t cover fertility at all. I’m currently in the process of doing IVF. Which cost me so far somewhere around 15,000-20,000. My employer added fertility coverage onto my health insurance- so I obviously wanted to look into how I could use it for the current IVF cycle since I had already spent so much. I didn’t realize that I had to call this separate company and make an account - basically start a claim. I was informed of that on one particular day one week (maybe a Wednesday or Thursday). On that week I had an appointment and had a scan (that’s not covered under the original 15,000 I had paid them). However since I had new coverage I was told that I could wait to see how much it would be. It had been almost a week since that appointment and I hadn’t made my claim yet - because I’m a mom to a 1 year old, a nurse manager, in school and a wife. You know life. Holly calls me and essentially scolds me for not making my claim yet and informed me that I had 30 minutes to call her back with my claim information or id just have to pay the full amount. She was INCREDIBLY rude - it’s wasn’t just what she said but how she said it. Did she really give an adult a 30 minute time limit? She’s honestly lucky that I was at work - and I’ve made some changes in my life. She 100% deserved a cuss out. Not to mention fertility is a very emotional topic, the people working there should be very empathetic. I wouldn’t expect such poor customer service anywhere but especially at a fertility clinic. I never wish bad things on people but I hope life makes it to where she has to find a new job so that no one has to ever feel that way again. Bless you Holly - you need it.

Dr Cookingham in Columbia made my life long dream of having a baby come true! After 5 years of infertility we just gave birth to our rainbow. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this experience. The doctors, nurses, and support staff all knew me by name within a couple weeks of starting treatment there. My frantic emails and late night texts were always answered with love and compassion. I was even given medicine at no charge when I ran out just before my cycle ended. My success is their success, and I felt that during my treatment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My wife and I were thrilled with our experience here! Originally, we had planned to see them in April and we were having problems getting pregnant on our own after trying for over a year and a half, but due to a scheduling conflict with the doctor they had to delay it for the next month, which was May 16 of 2017. A few hours before we went to see them, my wife and I decided to buy a home testing kit and low and behold it was positive!!! Well, we figured since we had the appointment set that day we would go ahead and see them and run their test to confirm the results...AND THEY ALSO CONFIRMED IT WAS POSITIVE!!!!😅😅 They gave us a prescription, followed up with phone calls to us to check on how we were doing and scheduled follow up appointments with us in a very timely manner. They were very friendly to us. They gave us great instructions on future care and were very efficient in providing the medical records over to our selected OBGYN. We felt very welcomed there and they were excellent and efficient in doing follow ups with us. By all means, we would recommend anyone who is looking to start a family and is looking for quality care to come here. You will be well treated here!! Dr McCoy in particular was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

I absolutely LOVE the Asheville office! The employees there are phenomenal. I recently went to an appointment with a friend of mine whom is having difficulty conceiving. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses were great. I believe her name was Mary Isabell (forgive me if Im wrong with her middle name) she was so sweet she brought us to another lady Rachel who was also very polite. Not only the staff but Dr. McCoy was amazing he went over everything to expect in great detail with my friend. My friend even commented that she didnt feel rushed at all. I even felt like I want to be a patient at such a caring office.

OMG!!! The staff is AMAZING!! Very professional, clean and welcoming. After going over background information with Dr. Fru. She went over what could be done moving forward. She made sure I understood my options. And let’s not forget the nurses, they rock!!! especially my nurse Katelyn… I highly recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed!! Baby dust to all who are trying to conceive 😘

I was very impressed my first couple of visits but eventually I could really tell I was not a priority as a patient and eventually requested my records be sent elsewhere. Front office staff, medical assistants, and nurses were all great and super friendly. No hard feelings against the Dr. I had... I just felt like a number and she was to busy to review my results or get back to me.

My wife and I went to PREG shortly after moving to the area to help us start a family. We had tried the natural way for many months leading up to this. Dr. Cookingham is amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with her. We started with shots for several months before moving on to IUI at the end of last year. Thanks to the team, we are expecting a baby boy at the end of September. Besides Dr. Cookingham, the rest of the team were very caring and understanding. Thank you PREG for everything you do!

This clinic is amazing. The team really listened to our concerns. They were compassionate and very kind. Attentive and efficient, are how Id describe them. We were referred by a friend who had been here to have their own kids, 15 years ago. To know they have held this standard of being kind and empathetic. as well as helping you to achieve your goals , is amazing.

I had a procedure done with my regular OBGYN in March after months of not knowing what’s going on and it wasn’t even done correctly. Dr. Cookingham did an ultrasound on me as soon as I told her my situation. Dr. Cookingham, Katelyn, and Sabrina worked me in for that same procedure very fast. It went perfectly and I feel very satisfied with the outcome. The whole staff is amazing!!

Dr Cookingham is a rockstar. She is honest, lays out your options and involves you in the decisions for your plan of care. I could not recommend her more for those that do have to go through infertility treatment. I can’t wait to share with her when we hopefully welcome our first little one into the world!

Preg Columbia staff is amazing!! My personal fav is Dr. Cookingham! She is was simply amazing through my IVF process! Because of her and her team i welcomed a handsome healthy baby boy!!

There are many things I can say about this office and it’s staff. The worst part of it all is people working in this type of environment with no empathy or respect. Holly in finance needs to be fired! She is the rudest b**** I’ve ever come in contact with in a doctors office. And I see from the reviews I’m not the only one that feels this way. This place just takes your money and doesn’t care one bit about you. They don’t call with test results you literally have to call them. The push IVF like it’s the only option available. They do not take proper steps nor do they offer any assistance with getting your numbers where they need to be. Just awful!

The location in West Columbia is awful. They are impossible to get in touch with. The financial counselor is shockingly rude, derogatory, and loud. Even worse, Dr. Cookingham isn’t the easiest to talk to even when you can get in touch with her. Also, insurance didn’t cover anything the PREG a office said they would BC SHE WASN’T LICENSED IN THIS STATE according to BCBS. I now owe thousands of dollars and they have refused to respond for months. I cannot imagine a worse experience. I am searching for another clinic now but I am scarred from PREG putting me in a financial bind and lying to me. I am trying to move forward in my journey to get pregnant but now I owe a significant amount of money.If you are thinking about going to PREG at least steer clear of their West Columbia location. If you think you have problems now, don’t add rude, deceptive, impossible to reach, money hungry, unprofessional medical people to the mix. You’ll only leave with debt and disappointment.

Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to trying to get pregnant, but I believe this staff will be with us 100% of the way.We had our first appointment yesterday with Dr.Fru, who is awesome by the way. I love her energy and personality, she was so easy to talk to, and she answered all of our questions.I must also give a major shout out to Kim. We mustve sent a dozen text msgs prior to our first appointment. If it werent for this communication, our first visit wouldve been a bust. So thank you Kim 🤗The PREG staff has made us hopeful again.

Today was my first visit at PREG. Very clean, friendly environment. I thought I would be overwhelmed during my first visit but Dr. Whitman-Elia made my husband and I feel comfortable. She was kind and very informative during my consultation. The staff was wonderful. Overall, my experience was great.

We had a second consult appointment there today that we never got to have. We drove 1.5 hours to this office for an 11 am appointment. My husband is an attorney and had to arrange his court schedule to accommodate this appointment and needed to be back to the courthouse at a set time. At 11:30 we were told it would be another 20-30 minutes because “an established patient takes priority and needed to talk to Dr. Cookingham”. I don’t mind appointments running late, it happens at doctors offices, but I told the nurse our situation she said “well maybe you should just leave then”. So we did. No one from the office nor Dr. Cookingham called to reschedule, apologize or anything. Such a waste of time, super unprofessional office, and I can’t imagine them having any compassion if someone actually does treatments with them.

Thank you Dr. McCoy for being so understanding and helpful. I’m excited to start my new treatment plan for Endometriosis with you. Thank you for listening to my pain, and frustration with this terrible disease. You spent time on my case and I appreciate that so much after being treated like cattle for years. Kindness and understanding goes such a long way - especially for chronic sufferers. Today after my appointment I felt very empowered and encouraged. Thanks again to you and your amazing staff. What an amazing experience!! I was so nervous going into our first visit and they made us feel so comfortable....from the front desk to the nurses to Dr Payne and the lab tech that kept us laughing ...truly humbled!! Greenville PREG has already turned into a miracle for us by putting our minds more at ease as we go through this process that we were so scared to start!!! I would highly recommend this practice. If you are scared to get started, just go to your first appointment. They will make you feel more comfortable than you ever thought you could!!Lauren

I am beyond upset and will not recommend this location to ANYONE. IF YOU CAN GO TO THE ASHEVILLE location go there. I received paperwork days before and a phone call days before AND I WAS NEVER TOLD that I would have to pay $200 to have a consultation with the doctor. When I first got there and the receptionist gave me my paper work and she knew I was self pay, she never told me there would be a fee. Even before I went to the back I WAS NEVER TOLD that there would be a $200 fee. If that was the case I would have never seen the doctor. There was no mention of a $200 fee posted any where in the office. I ended up having to pay $100 before I left. Afterwards I received bills after bills for the remaining $100. I finally talked to the office manager SABRINA in the Columbia office. She was really rude, she kept cutting me off and basically told me I was lying. She ended up waiving the fee but not before being really rude and telling me that I KNEW there was a fee. I know this review will not go anywhere, but I just felt that She makes that place look bad and I hope she finds her peace, because there was no need for her to be as nasty as she was to me. Preg is a great place but go to another location that actually cares that you want to have a baby.

My experience with this Preg team was absolutely AMAZING!!! Everyone from the receptionist, lab tech, financial advisor, every RN, IV coordinator and Dr. T (Tarnawa) made myself and my husband feel like family. They never rushed our visits, they answered EVERY SINGLE question we had with great explanation, and most importantly they are the most positive, uplifting medical team I have very worked with! Dr. T. is wonderful....nothing else to say b/c thats all that matters!! I cannot express my gratitude enough to the IV coordinator and the RNs who frequently had to deal with my anxiety and emotions through the whole process. I truly believe they are angels on earth because I would have never gotten through this without them......you know who are!! My only regret during this whole process is that I did not start at Preg, but I am truly blessed that I ended up there b/c now I am 11 weeks into my pregnancy and I have them to thank! Thank yall!

Wanted to get my tubes untied. My first time there, I waited for over 30mins before I was seen by Dr. T... he was real friendly and welcoming. I will say I felt like IVF was being forced upon me. What got me though was the possibility of getting a different IVF treatment for the same price as the reversal surgery, however they wouldn’t disclose any details until AFTER I did testing. So I moved forward with the ultrasound, the bloodwork and even had my husband come and do the testing he needed. Once results were in is when they told me what the discounted IVF process was and the success rate... which was LOWER then it would have been if I just got my tubes untied! Yeah, a waste of time and money... So once I confirmed with them I wanted the reversal, they said I had to go to theGreenville office and they would send my information over to them for them to call me. Well that’s been over 2 weeks now. In between that time I did call them, and left a couple messages and NO ONE called me back within that timeframe. So I decided to go with someone else. They new office I’m going to in NC had me all set and ready to go in less then a week! They were really attentive and kept me informed the whole process. I did have to do more blood work though because the testing I had done with PREG (over $600 spent) isn’t needed to get a reversal done. I will say today, a women named Ashley from PREG finally did call me and asked for some records to be sent over. I informed her that I decided to go elsewhere because I hadn’t heard from anybody, even after I called several times to inquire and left a couple voicemails. She then stated to me that I had been on her list the whole time, and that she was waiting for doctors. Well, a courtesy call with a update goes a loooong way. If I’m about to spend THOUSANDS of dollars with someone, I am not wanting to feel like the way PREG made me feel.

I just attended this clinic for the first time yesterday. Even though the news that I can received wasn’t great news the staff couldn’t have been more caring, loving and fun. Just didn’t feel like an office visit it felt more like friends. They were very professional but also candid and made me feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this to anybody who has had a bad doctor experience. This place is amazing!

Genesis is the best lab tech out there. She is personable, gentle, kind and always encouraging. Never a dull moment. If you go in not in the best of modes she brings out the best before you leave her set. I just love her. Thank you Genesis for all you do.

Ive only visited Preg (Greenville location) two times so far but both visits have far exceeded the experience I had at my previous IVF office. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful, and the phlebotomist is super sweet and had me laughing both times. Both doctors ive seen have been really patient with all my questions and very informative, unlike my previous experience with a different doctors office. I definitely think the positive atmosphere is important considering how stressful the fertility journey can be both emotionally and financially. All I can say is I hope they keep it up!

I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Genesis, the precious phlembotomist, who never fails to ask about my day and gets me on the first stick! Seeing her is a highlight of every visit! Also, Katelyn, is a nurse extraordinaire- so knowledgeable, kind, professional, and caring! Knowing these ladies are an essential part of my careteam is so comforting!

Staff is very friendly and I always feel very comfortable going in for my appointments. My doctor is all about trying to let the body work naturally when it can. Which is also something I like because I can skip on meds I dont need. Offices are clean and wait times are never long even though sometimes I get there 30 minutes early since I live over an hour away. I highly reccomend this location.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in the front door. The doctors ensure they have a plan a just for you. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Nichols is the best! He’s very direct, but he genuinely cares. We had our first visit today and within 5 minutes of seeing him we were working on a game plan that best fits us. Highly recommend these guys!

When you go in for procedures the staff is great! I felt like Dr. Fru was more of a manager than a doctor. Just bc the only contact with her was the first initial visit and Ivf after trying timed and IUI. It took months to hear back from them after IUI.Dr. Fru did call and give a consult on IVF. Finance was suppose to call me. Never got one. I even called and had to leave message. I never heard back from them. I would love a second opinion since there was no conclusion as to why we never got pregnant. ...

Poor Coordination and lack of communication among staff. I don’t think each staff member knows the whole process or how they can assist. You get shuffled around a lot. Financing is difficult, the “finance consultant” just hands you a packet full of useless pamphlets and brochures that explain very little. She seems like she is bored of her job and annoyed with questions. It may be the repetitive for her, however it is probably most patients first time like myself. It was later explained that 1/2 the options on the papers provided were not available to me because I’m over 35. The first link on the hand out of suggested lenders connects to a website that no longer offers medical loans. My husband and I have the money in savings would prefer to finance. The other sites asked for patient numbers that were not provided to us or listed doctors to select that no longer work there. Our doctor was not listed as a selection on another of the finance websites. There was a random medication pamphlet in the packet with no instruction so when I called they asked for exact hormone medications dose amounts which were not given to me. By this stage I should have been provided that information but was told to call back when my period started and that they would order the medication for me. Since the pamphlet they handed out offers a cost estimation service, PREG should have provided the details of the medication list in advance. My blood work was completed two months ago so Im not sure if the prescription will change next week when I call with the start of my cycle.

Dr. McCoy is wonderful. He is compassionate, clearly communicates your options, patiently talks through all of your questions, and generally truly cares about his patients. I can also say from 1st hand experience that he is an excellent surgeon.

I saw Dr. Tarnawa for PCOS. We met in his office instead of an appointment room which was nice. However, I did not appreciate him saying that I needed to amputate a part of my body (bariatric surgery is just that - amputation!) in order to manage my PCOS and eventually go through IUI or IVF. They took bloodwork and told me they would only call me if something wasnt normal. They called and left a message making me think something was wrong. When I finally received a call back the response was Oh no, everythings good! It also took them 4 months to properly bill my insurance since they go through Quest or LabCorp (dont remember which), and so BCBS had trouble with the bill since it was filed in a different year than the appointment. All in all, not a size-friendly clinic and recommends some pretty extreme measures.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Ms Genesis, Katelyn, Heather and Dr. Cookingham have been so wonderful during such a trying time. I would recommend PREG columbia to anyone dealing with fertility issues.

They really make you feel like family. Which is great while you’re going through a difficult and scary time. The doctors are knowledge, the nursing staff is funny and kind, and the team that does bloodwork are the best!Definitely trust them with the process of helping make a family

OMG!! I absolutely love Dr. Karenne Fru!! She’s amazing, awesome personality, super friendly, super helpful, she’s a phenomenal doctor. Dr. Fru truly cares, and I Thank GOD for finding her, she’s the best doctor I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Dr.Fru she’s a true gem. I gave her hug, she made me felt so ecstatic after helping me.The staff are awesome too, they are all super friendly and very responsive to my calls. I have to say PREG is the best facility I’ve ever been to and I will forever recommend them.

I am not surprised that others reported a lack of communication. My husband and I called several times to receive our lab results. We left several messages and no one called. You have to write the CEO to get a response. The staff keeps referring us to the patient portal to receive results but it doesnt work. This is the second time we had to write to the CEO to get any response from PREG. This is a time-sensitive matter and will be transferring care due to their lack of organization and urgency.

The office was much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The doctor we were assigned was awesome. They have an insurance department which goes into your insurance plans and finds out coverages for your policy. There is also a financial department which assists in loans for items not covered by insurance.

I started my journey in March and an HGS scan which was painful with one dr. After trying one round we took a break and started back under Dr Fru. She hands down is the best that has happen to me at this office. I elected to go through another HGS scan and determine if my tubes are open or not and she which was concern due to the last experience I had. Hands down the best decision I did. She was 10 times better and no pain this time around. She listens to patients and concerns to come up with plans without trying to break the bank since infertility is pricey but that’s what we have to do in order to have a child. Thank you Dr Fru I am so excited to be on my journey with you.

I am new to this clinic, but in the past month, they have seen me 4 times. Each time Dr. Fru and the staff have been awesome! They are caring, attentive, and quick to get back with me. Dr. Frus nurse even gave me her direct contact info after playing phone tag for a day. My first appointment, I spoke with Dr. Fru for over an hour about my concerns/issues, and she never once made me feel rushed or unheard. I have seen some really rough reviews on here, and I cant speak to the other docotrs in the clinic, but Dr. Fru and her staff are completley awesome! Being new to all of this is scary, and she does a great job of explaining things so that you have hope for whats to come in the future. I am very grateful that I was able to land in the right hands.Edit: Over the course of a year we did 4 IUIs and then moved on to IVF. Dr.Fru was awesome the whole time. Her team of nurses was also very wonderful. My ONLY issue, was that for my retrieval, Dr. Fru was out on vacation. So I ended up having to do the procedure with a different male doctor, who was only able to get eggs out of one ovary. He stated that he got a bunch of them, so he thought he didnt need to worry about getting any more. I have extreme PCOS and my egg quality was not great, so out of the 44 eggs he got, only 3 were able to be saved. I guess I will always wonder what wouldve happened if he wouldve tried to get eggs from the other side too. We spent upwards of $21,000 for this process and came out empty handed. Towards the end of all of this I just felt like a number and once we decided to wait and not sign up for another round of IVF immediately, all follow up care/efforts ceased. Torn on if I would come back here. I wish Dr.Fru was in her own practice. I would go back and see her.

I see Dr Flu shes the best and most positive person. I love her, but Holly in finance has the worst attitude she yelled at me and tried to over talk me. I called her to order donor eggs I was purchasing them for IVF but she told me I couldnt purchase there from there egg bank even though I was using my own cash. She even told me she talked with the CEO of preg and told her the same thing. I couldnt purchase donor eggs from there egg bank. The worst experience Ive ever had.

I give them 2 stars because most of the staff is friendly. I do not give them anymore because the costs that they do not reveal is ridiculous. From the information on what is covered, it seems like everything is covered through the whole process, but when you look at the fine print it says only through the first pregnancy test. This is my third go round with a fertility clinic and this one was by far the worst when it comes to disclosing the exact costs. Make sure you know what you’re paying upfront or you may be very disappointed with the final tally, not including medications.

We conceived both our our children through PREG. One is almost 3.5 and the other will be one on May 19. I’m so thankful they never gave up on us. We went in feeling so defeated after years of trying to conceive. After 2 rounds of pills, shots and IUI’s, we conceived our baby boy! We went back 2 years later and with pills, shots, we conceived our baby girl! We we hopefully be going back to try for baby number 3 soon! We loved the staff at PREG. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. They become like family. I have PCOS and irregular periods. I do not ovulate without medicine. Everyone there was so kind and understanding. They were our biggest cheerleaders. They were wonderful from start to finish. I’m so thankful and grateful for the doctors, nurses and staff at PREG for helping make our dreams of becoming parents come true! I can’t say enough good things about them.

We saw Dr. Cookingham. She was awesome! It was a long process and now we have a sweet baby!!! We had the best experience from the nursing staff to the financial counselor.

Ms. Genesis is the absolute best! She always has the best attitude & greets you with a smile and hug. She makes the visits better and easier with her warm spirit. There are always laughs when she’s around! Ms. Genesis is a great asset to PREG.

Hoping the CEO of PREG will read this and contact me immediately. They cant even send out a email out to the right address nor call a patient about their test results which speaks volumes about their patient care. Sent my test results to a wrong email with it coming back to them as a invalided email address. Instead of calling me, they just kept quiet until I questioned them about my results. Sabrina from the Columbia, SC office got very defensive and argumentative towards me when I asked why I had not been called or notified with about my test results. Instead of admitting their wrong doing, she just got even more irrigate. She even stated she got onto the person that sent the email to the wrong address and stated they should have called you but she wasnt even following her own advice or solution. Sabrina stated she would have her supervisor call me and that still hasnt occurred yet. I still do not have my test results.

This office is the absolute worst. SEEK OTHER OPTIONS for infertility treatment! They do not honor appointment times and offer nonsensical excuses for not doing so. Our follow-up consultation never even happened because we left the office after waiting half an hour, without so much as a word of acknowledgement from their staff. There was not another soul waiting in that office while we were there.I emplore any couple that is serious about infertility treatment to go anywhere but this place. You (and they) will be wasting your time if you go here.

We’ve had a really great experience with PREG. The staff are all really nice and Dr. Nichols is a wonderful doctor. Fertility issues are very difficult to deal with. It’s really helpful to have a medical team that’s really supportive.

Ms. Whitman is a great person, therefore it shines through her profession! She knows her stuff and is so sweet. She is patient and kind. This includes the rest of the staff as well, they all have the most pleasant attitude. My first visit was a great experience!Update: PLEASE BRING PREG TO THE ATL AREA!!! I have relocated to Newnan, Georgia and can’t find a reproductive clinic anywhere like PREG.

The doctor and - Tarnawa and then medical team are great. One thing I would recommend doing better is communication. Most of the people I have spoken to there, do not understand how ivf patients are not working in the medical field so it’s super annoying when they use so much medical jargon and don’t follow up to make sure you understand.The biggest issue I have is with their billing inaccuracies. They billed me for the same days multiple times and then stated my insurance never paid. I had to get Cigna involved and will be getting the attorney general and state involved for balanced billing and other billing inaccuracies. This is the reason for the low rating. Too bad because the doctor is good and overall the experience was fine but I wouldn’t do it again with the billing issues I have had with them.

Dr. Travis McCoy is a wonderful doctor who is compassionate, caring and thorough with creating a treatment plan that works best for my husband and I. The office supervisor, Sabrina is also a jewel. She goes above and beyond to listen and resolve any issues in a timely manner.

I was set up to have surgery to remove my endo... months prior I kept calling Dr. McCoy because the pain was unbearable, he kept brushing it off and telling me it’s fine, surgery is soon. Once I got into surgery my left tube was completely crushed by my intestines and irreparable, he did not even wait for me to wake up from surgery to tell me, he had my husband voice record it. No remorse was shown at the follow-up appointment a month later. If I could have found someone to sue him for malpractice I would have, but my depression from the removal of an organ was too much. I am not the only one he he not listened too. My advise trust your body not Dr. McCoy to tell you what is wrong. If I could leave no star I would. Not only did I lose my left tube but I am left with an over $2,000 bill and less likely chance of pregnancy.

My doctor was amazing only got to see her once when we went for our first visit !the nurse are the ones who do the IUI not the doctors..the first IUI was terrible we missed it because our nurse never called us back after about 5 voicemails and emails to get the medication we needed to start the iui.i got hold of the manager Sabrina and she ended up giving us the iui for free for our next treatment which honestly didn’t help the situation ..which by then I losted all hope in them ..then again I had a issue left Sabrina a voicemail and then she called me back and I told her what issues I’m facing ..she said she would call back ..yet again almost a month in and I haven’t gotten her call back .. would I go back there again HELL NO!

Excellent experience, everyone is so friendly. I felt like I was a part of their family. I have rolling veins and the nurse that did my blood work only had to stick me once.

I couldn’t recommend Dr. Fru more; she was incredibly friendly and professional. She made me feel super comfortable and explained my options at length. She took my concerns serious and actually listened without interruption! The staff is also amazing I haven’t had a bad experience yet!

We have only had our first initial conversation. Stephanie the NP was wonderful she fully explained each procedure and options to us. Im looking forward to more visits and hopeful of our possiblity of our baby.

My first experience when I got pregnant with my 6 year old was great and obviously it was successful all the tests and steps we took for me to get pregnant and stay pregnant. This time I am not as pleased as we are trying to get my hormone levels under control by changing the dosage of my medication. They do not follow up even with me calling them and leaving messages. I want to feel like they care about what is going on with me and right now I do not feel like I am very important as a patient. It is very stressful when we really want another successful baby and have already been trying for over a year again.

I was hesitant to write a review but I felt compelled to share my experience. This clinic was my first experience with IVF. Ive dealt with a range of issues from billing inaccuracies to being misdiagnosed among other things. This clinic has a processing approach. I always felt like a number and that I along with all of the other women that I would be in a cycle with were being processed. Ive had multiple cycles from 2011-2014/15 and only ONE positive beta but it didnt result in a live birth. I paid one cycle completely out of pocket and somehow there was still a billing error with labs ...I had insurance to cover 80% of the other cycles. Each cycle, They were trying to charge me over my 20% co-insurance .... I was paying them $650 per intralipid infusions. They were only giving their patients 1/4 of the amount of intralipids that other clinics were giving their patients which is a complete ripoff!!! (Other clinics only charge about $50 per infusion for 4x the amount of intralipids). After moving to another state I went to a new clinic and started from scratch with a fresh cycle. I transferred two embryos, got pregnant with twins during my first cycle and I did NOT need intralipids. My twins will be 1 in two months. It frustrates me when I think about how much time, money and emotional stress Ive spent dealing with Advanced Fertility. Going through infertility itself is stressful without having to go through unnecessary stress from a company that youre paying to help you start a family. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldnt have wasted my time going to such a place. Their approach had me more stressed out than I needed to be because they never wanted to discuss the specifics claiming that I would overthink things and be stressed and thats not good for a cycle.I learned so much after leaving that clinic. I learned that they focus on quantity NOT quality. Whats the point in producing 20embryos even if the embryologist says theyre a high grade if none of those high graded embryos give you a live birth....Ladies, review your clinics stats. If their stats are not up to date, ask them for their current stats and see how successful they are with women in your age group. See what their success rate as a whole is... that will shed light on how good the embryologist is. Dont feel like you have to stay somewhere and continue to pay for service that youre not happy with. There are so many factors that come into place in a given cycle but it definitely should start with a great RE Facility and unfortunately I wouldnt recommend this place unless theyve made some major changes.

I had a very good experience at PREG everyone is very nice. Im so very happy I found them they have great support in whatever way you may need. Dr. Tarnawa was one of the best doctors Ive ever had hes is amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone.

I met Dr.Imgrund from my doctor here in Summerville I must say she is the most down to earth doctor let me not forget caring. Thank you so much for everything ❤️ Preg is number 1 for all women

My experience was nothing short of amazing! My husband and I felt at home. Everyone was so nice and took time to explain everything to us and answer all of our many questions! We are so excited to start this journey.

So coming from a REI background to being a patient, I expected more compassion from the staff and organization of labs and procedures. I was not impressed overall with my experience and lack of professionalism. Having the latest equipment and techniques doesnt make up for attitude, behavior and progress. If this is your first time visiting an endocrinologist research first. But this is just my opinion, form your own if you like.

Staff was nice and professional. Dr. Fru was amazing, great energy and also very professional. I am feeling very optimistic about my fertility journey and looking forward to see Dr. Fru again.

Dr. McCoy is a great physician who care and takes his time!! He listens thoroughly to your issues and he is absolutely great with my husband who is a disabled veteran. Thank you Dr. McCoy!!

Dr. McCoy was absolutely amazing. As someone who has dealt with Endometriosis for 15 years; finding a doctor who truly understands is like finding the golden ticket. So thankful for this practice!

Everyone here is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have such a great experience so far! Genesis does an excellent job with my blood work every time.

Does not communicate or follow up with services. IUI process is not clarifying from nurses. I don’t think they are experienced enough here to get women pregnant. The staff here does understand it is sensitive process for couples and there will be lots of questions asked. I think it’s a money pit

Horrible place. Never was provided clinical service. However, I have been terminated and cannot be provided with out of state monitorinig. This place does not like to return phone calls and rejects hard cases. Ladies be warned. Very uncaring and unprofessional.

This place was excellent, which is because of excellent doctors. However, those good doctors left......Right now it is a mess. The current doctor is rude and non-professional, and they increase the cost, etc. Trust me, please find another place.

I am getting charged for a lot of stuff that wasn’t mentioned during consultation or written in our agreement although we were still following the same outline and process as we consulted with during consultation. I
