Planned Parenthood - West Hollywood Health Center

Took a friend here for an appointment early in the morning (8AM) dead ahh didn’t leave till almost 2pm when they closed. Then they called around 12pm saying that my friend was almost ready to get picked up and still waited an hour and a half. If you have all day then I recommend this place, other than that save time and energy and go somewhere else.

My nurse today was Norma she was amazing and made me feel very comfortable. My doctor was Chelsea she was also very comforting and they both addressed my concerns well.

This place, the clinicians and the staff are fantastic. So lucky to have a facility like this to stay on top of my sexual health.

Told me to come at 11:30 and waited all day to be seen . no communication. they call 1 person at a time and wait hrs before calling another. i’m not sure if they are under staff but they are very inconsiderate of others time!

Appointment system is complete garbage. Why have one when I’m still waiting 2+ hours past my appointment time to be taken in. I understand why people protest here now (lol).

Wait time and staff is amazing ! Great group of ladies ! Very professional and kind !

Was just here this morning for a conscious sedation and I couldnt complain about my experience here. ALL staff were wonderful from the receptionist to the assistants to the Drs on site. They made me feel welcomed and safe and answered all my questions for me.I had a bad experience with van nuys planned parenthood hood In the past and was scared to go again but this location although its 40 minutes from me was worth the drive. All staff are well trained and knowledgeable. I appreciate everyone who helped me this morning. Thank you, you guys were the sweetest!

Came here today for routine testing,The totally incompetent, brain-dead staffmember at the front desk tried to tell me that my birthday wasn’t on file with my insurance. I knew this was false, and I manually got my insurance on the phone to prove this, but she still wasn’t convinced and had to consult with her “insurance team” for OVER AN HOUR while I waited. I was planning to go out of state today and this totally ruined my plans and screwed my schedule.This woman didn’t even apology for what was clearly her mistake.Also, the guy who took my blood gave me false information about testing that could have caused me severe health issues down the line - luckily another worker corrected this and saved me, and she was very friendly too so at least she redeemed things.

Everyone was extremely friendly. They made me feel comfortable.

They scheduled me an appointment at 630 am and then made me sit in the waiting room for over hours. Some of the staff was nice but most were pretty rude to me and favored certain patients. Even their tone of voice to me was rude compared to other Patients.My second day, they made me come at 530 and I was supposed to have the surgery after being dilated but they made me come the next day because I had a few nuts and a sip of water. Never mind that I struggled to find a ride and someone to watch my kids. They had to put more clamps in and I made it known that I wanted a different nurse because the other one was insensitive to my pain. I know she was gossiping about me because the next day I had an even worse experience.One nurse didn’t even turn on my IV drip when I could see it dripping in all the other patients’ IV. Then I asked her to turn it on and she turned in for a second then turned it back on. When a patient asked for nausea meds she said “Sure coming right up” but when I asked for them she said “I’ll check if you’ve had some and come back if you didn’t.” Then they didn’t want to give me any pain meds but were offering them freely to other patients. Then after I wake up from my surgery, clearly having had nothing to eat or drink, they didn’t offer me anything. But offered another patient, “would you like some water or juice?” Then I Said “can I have juice” and she said “I’ll give you one to go” bluntly and with an attitude. Even the anesthesiologist had an attitude with me.I wanted my experience to be as comfortable as possible and they made a horrible experience even worse.

I had a great experience here. I was worried about how I was going to pay for my procedure since I don’t have insurance anymore but the receptionist enrolled me in a 30 day emergency medi-cal that covered my whole procedure. I was well taken care of by the nurses and doctors as well. I felt very comfortable the whole time. Thank you Planned Parenthood!

The staff is incredibly rude and encouraged me to have an abortion even though I never expressed an interest in an abortion. Im 17 weeks pregnant and Im carrying a healthy girl. Why would I want to abort?? Anyway the energy in the place is off. I would not go here if you pan on keeping your baby,

Don’t bother making an appointment at this location. You will still have to wait over an hour and a half after your appointment to be seen. Ridiculous. The Hollywood location is way more timely and organized.

5 stars . The staff were really caring and were always checking on me . They had warm blankets and heating recliner chairs to wait in and make you comfortable while youre waiting .

The office is really clean and when I went about a month ago, it was completely empty (which is AMAZING!) for that reason I give this place 3-stars, however the staff (particularly one front desk lady) was VERY rude, had no social/communication skills and was upset to even help me because I didnt have an appointment. Considering the place was empty, Id think theyd be happy to attend someone. Clearly some people dont like to work. They wish theyd get paid and just sit there. Overall, their customer service is poor.I think a good way to improve this place is by replacing the rude staff. Location is great and office is clean. If it werent for the rude staff, Id honestly make this my favorite location!

DO NOT GO HEREIf I could give 0 stars I would. Came in early for the first appointment of the day (which was scheduled) for a UTI and was told I needed to pay 900$ to see the doc and get meds and more to get general testing done. My drivers license is from a different state so the office lady immediately said they dont take my insurance. My insurance is for California since I work and LIVE here now which she did not believe me....She pretended to run it and said it never popped up and refused to give me other payment options which I know they have for testing. She made me leave the office instead of letting me figure out my insurance with her. Called my insurance and it does work, she just refused to run it and every urgent care around me was booked for a wk plus (this was during the COVID outbreak in Jan) so my UTI turned into kidney problems and other issues. Never again with how much disrespect. I was basically talking to a selfish 12 year old.

Brianna the RN was so caring, understanding & kind. I really genuinely appreciated it & the entire staff as well.

After a couple of bad experience with planned parenthood i ended up here! And I finally had a positive experience! They were on time for the appointment and the staff was so caring that i am never going to forget their faces!!

Not a long wait. Helpful staff that made me feel comfortable. And they were playing a Golden Girls marathon! What more could you ask for?

I’ve always had a good experience aside from the Extreme wait times regardless of appointment

I had a good experience here the staff was so nice and supportive I had to terminate my pregnancy since my baby was diagnosed with anencephaly everything went great with my procedure !

I highly recommend going into the Planned Parenthood facility or finding another facility because the staff at this location will hang up the phone in your face or they will not answer the phones to take appointments.

So I was loving this place the staff were super friendly and made it comfortable for me however never take your belongs inside they made me put my stuff in a locker and they stoled some money out of my wallet but i didnt realize till i got home since i was drugged up from a procedure I had

I went in April for procedure and the staff was amazing. None of my stuff went missing when I left it in my locker. This is my favorite location
