Dr Elizabeth Byron, her colleagues, and team are compassionate individuals whom not only are proficient in their field; focused and dedicated to their craft, but exert a humble and positive ambience within their environment.We all strongly recommend this practice and their above normal service that they provide to their clients.

My appointment with Dr.Raymond at Florida Cancer Specialist was great. Everyone is always so helpful And caring. I cannot give enough praise to Dr.Raymond. She is absolutely phenomenal in every way. I feel so blessed to have her as my doctor. She always answers all of my questions in detail, and make sure that I understand everything. I had chemo therapy for colon cancer in Taiwan. Unfortunately the cancer returned early this year. I went to see Dr. Gupta for potential better treatment. She treated me seriously and patiently and finally helped me to participate in a 2 stage clinical trials. I am very grateful for her medical professionalism and caring attitude. Now I have experienced 4 chemo treatments. All went well with minimal side effects thanks to the wonderful tasks of all the nurses and careful monitoring of the research team. I am forever grateful to all the staff that take such a great care of me.

The nursing staff are exceptional and they have always been to the patients. The Patient representative at the desk where we sign in work so very hard, they have smiles on theyre face and excellent customer service.

My entire experience from surgery through follow up has been dealt with great competence, concern and respectful dialogue. My cancer physician, Marilyn Raymond takes a great deal of time to know me as a mother, a person and a friend. She weighs my opinion regarding medications and listens to my other health concerns. Many people feel that they have to travel for top level care, but I could not be happier with my team. Dr. Raymond would not hesitate nor be offended if I sought other opinions. I know I am in the best hands.

I see Dr Avram Smuckler, been seeing him for a few years , he is the best caring, compassionate and helpful hematologistdoctor and he takes time with you during visit. He goes above and beyond. I recommend anyone to go see Dr Avram Smuckler for your Hematology and Oncology services. He sees patients at the West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens Locations. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee you.

My daughter Robyn, and I were very pleased with our first time experience at the F.C.S.&R. I. Every one was friendly and helpful. we felt welcome and at ease. The nurse who had to draw blood made me feel at ease, and didnt hurt me, and got the blood needed.My family, on the phone, and myself liked Dr. Santos. He made us feel at ease and let us ask all of our questions. He was very knowledable and i feel that i am in good hands.the only complaint I have, is the paperwork that we had to fill out . It was the longest one that I have ever seen.. there were so many questions that I could not answer, as i would have neededmore information from my personal and medical records.

The care and compassion shown by the most of the staff at FCCS is like known I have ever experienced. The Doctors always go beyond the call of duty to discover new treatments and clinical trials seeking cures and remission for their patients.

Dr. Peles and APRN Michelle saved my life. I am forever grateful for their foresight and care. Amazing bedside manner that just does not exist anymore. They care for the patient as a whole not just a diagnosis.

Dr Raymond is a calm patient loving person. She caries her personal traits during the exam and discussion phase. We trust her wisdom

This is the only place I have ever been for cancer care so I dont have a comparison. I will say from the gentleman that valets, the front desk, the staff that take vitals, the entire infusion area, Dr. Raymonds nurse, Carla who is very attentive and compassionate, and of course Dr. Raymond. They have always treated me with respect, & understanding. Dr. Raymond takes her time to answer questions and explains everything in layman terms. She watched over my whole treatment and took amazing care of me. She is brilliant, and Im so happy I was referred to her and to Florida Cancer Specialists. Thank you so much!

I was first diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2013 then did 13 Sessions of treatment,when I remission, then got diagnosed again 2021 my Oncologist Dr Peles didnt give up he said the Only way was through a bone marrow Transplant so I had it done in Miami, Jackson memorial, Silvester Comprehensive Cancer center. I am now Cancer free has a pet scan and felt very good about my Health thanks to Florida Cancer center .

The staff are very pleasant and professional. Dr. Goodman and Sarah are excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Goodman.

I felt that Dr. Spitz was very thorough and took as much time with me as I needed. He addressed my concerns and set me up for the procedure that day. Unfortunately I had an adverse reaction. He waited and gave me several choices and I did the procedure again with some drugs on board to stop the adverse reaction. It went fine and was able to go home after approximately I hour of monitoring me.

Not sure there is enough room for all the thanks and appreciation for these fantastic folks. From Dr. Peles and Michelle (who are always available for any question I might have) to the check in (Bea, Brenda and the rest) Izzy and his nursing staff, Check out folks and the nurses who escort you back to the doctor offices and the valet guy. All are wonderful at making you feel special and at ease. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else.

My husband was 87 and diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. A year and a half later he is cancer free. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Florida Cancer Center and especially our wonderful doctor Dr.Santos. He is the best doctor I have ever encountered. The staff are all so nice and the entire experience is super organized and very caring. People said we should go to New York or other large institutions but I’m so happy we didn’t do that. We had a much more personal experience here.

I have been seeing Dr Byron since 2021. The staffs are always very professional, welcoming, helpful and nice. Dr Byron always make sure to answer any questions I might have and she makes you feel comfortable and cared for whenever I see her. The nurses and the medical assistants are amazing!!!!!! They are very kind and patient, as well as being open to having conversation with you to get to know you and your family. I would recommend anyone who is going through such traumatic experience to choose carefully where they want to get treatment and which Doctor you want to see. God bless!

I was out of medication and left 3 messages and 1 email with no returned call. I was told this medicine is vital to take daily. But not important enough to call in a refill or call me back? I spoke with a 3 rd agent Monday and all I heard was his complaints about taking calls for 6 offices and no control over the staff returning my calls. He didn’t care to hear how many messages I’ve left or how nervous I am going an entire weekend without this vital prescription. Instead he spoke over me asking for my birthday, etc. He said his job is to take the information, not hear my complaints or concerns.”His plate is full already”. Once this medication is refilled, I’m already seeking a new oncologist. You are dealing with patients who are already ill, a little compassion goes a long way!

I had a very pleasant experience at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. Everyone was kind and professional. I was made most comfortable during my visit. Dr. Spitz was thorough with his examination as this was my first time there. Im looking forward to my follow-up.

As much as we love my mother’s doctor, we have been waiting for over two hours to have a brief (5-10 minute) doctor visit then to begin chemotherapy. Had I been unable to come, my 84 year old mother would be sitting by herself in this office for hours before her 1-1.5 hour long chemo treatment. It is a shame what is happening to healthcare but over a two hour wait in unacceptable.

My personal experience FCS is out of this world especially the nurse who called you in for blood work she perfect person for the job her personality helps you while going through your illeness your sad moments your valleys God bless her Dr Piles he reminds me of my former Dr. Harris they love what they do care for the sick God bless their heart God bless the entire staff continue to do what you love caring for the sick

I am a patient of Dr. Marilyn Raymond. She has been a remarkable oncologist and I have been dealing with ovarian cancer since 1999 so have seen several. She very upbeat, informative, and supportive. My questions and phone calls are always answered. I feel confidant that she recommends the best treatment available.

They are a mess!I had blood drawn, they never sent to the lab, drew again before letting me know why, so unnecessary again.Doctor walked out of the room, canceled my infusion, left me waiting for 3 hours... I could go on.

I was Diagnose with breast cancer in 2022. Me and my family were so scared but We went to Dr. Byron Elizabeth she immediately sent me to Dr. Elena Rhel. I got a surgery date on my first appointment. Both of these doctors were so amazing. I’m so thankful that I’m now cancer free because of them.

A positive experience from. day one. Dr. Spitz is patient and thorough when answering you questions.He got the right combination and strength of my chemo and immunology treatment to do the job for me. My appointment for a blood draw was 9:45 AM. I arrived 9:30 per pre visit instructions. At 10:35, after 65 minutes waiting I COMPLAINED because I had another Drs. appointment 20 minutes away!!! I was finally taken back for a blood draw. I think this is ridiculous to be so behind schedule so early in the day!!!!

Everything was done punctually with Professionalism and care. I am an 83 Year Old Patient who has started being active at 68 Doing Triathlon. I am actively training 6 days a week. Use it or lose it.

I always have a good experience when I visited the doctor and Dr. Bergman is very thorough. He and his assistant are always good with being thorough and calling me if my results don’t come in on time they always go over the phone.

I really didnt know what to expect when I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020. My hysterectomy was successful. By removing my uterus unknown cancer which was concealed inside was removed in whole. Afterward blood work and and a PET scan revealed that the rest of my body showed now signs of additional cancer or cells. I will be receiving additional tests twice a year. I given God the glory for bringing this issue to the forefront at the time that He did. Thank you for a surgery that produced a speedy recovery. I was back to work in 3 weeks. Thank you Dr Goodman and Staff. Also Dr Friedman.

I would love to meet the HR person who hires all of these amazing people. From the valet, to the front desk, to the treatment center and everywhere in between, you wont find a more stellar group of people! Everyone is so professional and very kind!!! They make you comfortable in the most uncomfortable time of your life and for that, I will be forever grateful!!! So lucky to have Dr. Friedman and his staff as my care team, they have been with me every step of the way. I am forever in awe of the work you do saving lives every day! Dr. Peles is amazing! We appreciate his knowledge and care! We love walking in to Ms. B’s smile! Izzy in the treatment area is the best in the business! We wouldn’t go anywhere else for labs and treatment as Izzy is a definite gem and a Keeper! Michelle is also wonderful and knowledgeable! Communication could be improved overall and the attitude that some (one) of Dr. P’s staff has could also improve; however we put up with it to see Dr. P and Izzy, Michelle and Ms. B!

Have never had a bad experience at Florida Cancer. The staff is very relaxing and positive.

So far things have went well. Getting my lab worked on and getting things set up went well. I start my first treatment on Monday so I will have to update after that. The treatment process itself went very well. The people are very kind to take care of you, and willing to explain everything that’s going on. I did feel down two days after the treatment, but not sure it was from the treatment itself.

I have spent three days trying to get a new patient appointment for my wife who has cancer. I have talked with three different people. They all said they would get back with me - call me back. No one has called me back. This is not acceptable.

Dr Byron is amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful but the wait times to see a doctor are extreme. I often wait 3+ hours from my scheduled appt time. It’s painful

The care I received from Dr Gupta was exceptional. She listened to my concerns as always. The entire team made me feel comfortable, Tara is very special too, it feels good to be treated with professionalism and care. A big thank you

Dr. A. Smukler saved my life! He worked exhaustingly for me. He navigated my cancer journey with his vast knowledge and his compassion. He has always been kind, compassionate, professional and patience with me. Additionally, I have seen him interact with others and he is equally dedicated. And, yes at times it has been difficult to get through to staff for refills, etc. Each staff member stands alone for their own behavior. To me the cancer treatment and individual Dr.s knowledge is whats most important for the right treatment and survival. The word Cancer is just a scary thought but hearing Breast Cancer at age 76 is more like a death sentence. The wonderful Doctors and staff made it more like a journey of education and enlightenment. Not a scary thought but one of life and promise!

The receptionists in my opinion, set the tone for the entire visit. FCS, have the very best. Beatrice and Destinique are amazing. They are kind, efficient and exude positive energy. My visits are for annual visits. Dr Marilyn Raymond Ive been a patient since 2012. The facility is a friendly environment for me each visit.

I have,been a going to Florida cancer. Since 2018. When,I started my breast cancer journey. I met my team. Dr.,Santos my oncologist and my surgeon Dr Sanchez. They explained everything to,me in,plain English. Both very compassion.,and carring Doctors. I just moved,out of Florida last year. But refused to change my doctors. I just travel 8 hours for my 6 month appointment. Florida cancer. Last week. Is a great,place.,not only the doctors, but the whole staff. From the check in to check,out staff and nurses, they treat u,like family. As long as I need my 6 or one year check,ups.,I will be traveling from,South,Carolina Florida cancer Center. I am here today because of the care I have been giving in the Florida cancer.,thank u

You know for me, I stay in a lot of medical clinics, but for 6yrs or so, I xan honestly say I love Fl. Cancer Specialist! Theres always love their like you home & not the feeling of having to go to another medical place for treatment etc, its just different from: people/staff/patients, conversations, laughter, togetherness! I really just dont know how else to describe this place, im just glad I belong & cant wait for my next appointment. I came to my appointment at 9:45. It was like 5 minutes and they took me in for my blood work. And then I waited in there for a room. I got a room and then I never left there until 20 minutes to 1:00. So two and a half hours later Im leaving. I dont know what happened that day but its the longest time that I have had to wait there.

They are friendly professionals who go the extra mile to care for their patients.

I had a very nice visit with Carla, Dr. Raymond’s NP. She took her time with me and answered any questions I had.

Just wanted to share that Virginia who works in maybe scheduling or billing (idk) has been a life saver for me. She has been so kind and extremely helpful dealing with my insurance company and helping get things scheduled. Diane, the office manager, also has been extremely attentive and kind in helping me get my needs met and getting me in contact with the right people. I initially had a bad experience here but both of these women are great at their jobs and have made all the difference in helping me with some difficult medical issues.

Check in was a breeze!Was called back quickly & labs were done immediately.Dr. Raymond entered the exam room very shortly after I was taken back.She is very knowledgeable, thorough, positive minded & personable!Very easy to talk to.

My oncologist, Dr. Gupta is amazing. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

This place saved my life in 2017 with stage 3 lung cancer, trust me it wasnt easy although after the surgery chemotherapy radiation my pet scan showed Ned (no evidence of disease). Although in 2022 we found a lung nodule with stage 1A and just did a year of immunotherapy 5 high dose radiation and now that is going away. Amen the doctors the nurses the people who schedule you take your blood all the above are excellent professional people and they keep up and keep track of you you dont get lost in the shuffle so to speak. Dr Robert Scoma did my surgery to remove the tumor on the lung. Unfortunately he couldnt get all of it and thats when I had adjuvant therapy. Aggressive chemo Dr Smukler. Radiologist Dr Daniel Mark. And my oncologist for immunotherapy is Dr Gupta. These are the people along with God who saved my life! Amen in Jesus strong name!

Nice people but for somethingSo important- getting refills, appointments, questions through to doctors is extremely difficult no matter how many attempts you make.When your doctor is away on vacation, who calls in your meds? Treated more like a nuisance than a patient…who has been quite kind and patient.

I really like Dr. Santos and Lazara, APRN. A nurse named Melissa in the infusion room needs to review infection control and customer service. I did not see her wash her hands. When I asked her to perform hand hygiene, she said she washed her hands before she called me from the waiting room . She refused to wash her hands when I requested that she do so and told me she was going to wear gloves while accessing my port. I have been an RN for 38 years and I know the standards of care. Melissa, you are a poor excuse for a nurse and I hope you don’t spread pathogens to the chemo patients in your care. The registrar had to be reminded to use two patient identifiers before putting an ID bracelet on me. I am a clinical educator and I would be more than happy to provide an inservice on the patient experience, infection control, and the proper way to access central lines.

Dr. Marconi basically killed me. He was indifferent. He didnt care if I got treatment. He never visited me in the hospital when I had complications from my first chemo treatment. Then he went on vacation. Never heard back from his office again. I, of course switched to another doctor but the delay has cost me terrible suffering and unnecessary delay in continued treatment. Please do your homework on this doctor. I was disappointed and now Im in the hole as far as trying to recover from his lack of empathy and treatment.

Dr.Raymond is truly an angel on earth. Knowledgeable and compassionate. My aunt was thrown around from many different chemotherapy clinics until we finally got a referral to see her. It was life changing, literally. She showed her role as a provider through and through. She made all the right decisions and we trusted her as she answered each and every question with insight. Suddenly, things weren’t so bad. We weren’t on edge. Thank you Dr.Raymond. My aunt is more alive than she’s ever been thanks to you. Highly recommend!!

I am alive today because of Florida Cancer specialists and Dr. Elizabeth Byron !! I am working on over 5 years survival of stage 4 tonsil cancer !!!!! Dr Byron has been by my side every step of the way and continues to do so !! She is my hero !!

I was in pain after chemo and called the office in order to speak with a nurse or PA so that I could get medication for the pain. I called before closing and the receptionist was having difficulty finding some one to assist me. She rudely told me not to get mad at her which I was not, but when you feel pain your voice does not sound calm and serene. This is Florida Cancer Specialists! The people who call your office have cancer. They dont feel good, in fact many feel terrible. Is it asking too much for you to be nice? Please try to show some compassion and empathy. Treat cancer patients with kindness and respect. They feel terrible and their lives have turned upside down and they dont know how long theyre going to live. Dont make their lives worse for them. Lighten their burden with a smile and a kind word. It wont kill you.

Not to far from wellington regional medical center .Great service great front staff member when I alway set my appointment and I come in , my name is already being called no more then 15 minutes later or less to see the doctor . doctor gersten is awesome . All the register nurse staff are very awesome handle patients with care and we as patience are being taken care of in the order we came in . They are very nice very respectful has positive attitude very helpful .an amazing staff member all around . Great place to be seen . Ill recommend anyone to come here. This is not my first time being here Ive been coming here almost 7 years and I still get the same treatment

Unkind receptionists, treat you like dirt and as a number. Shady, had to pay doctors visit upfront and didn’t even get an invoice or receipt. Receptionist said it was co-pay which I don’t have to pay according to my plan. Then you get shuffled to the finance team as if you are not able it willing to pay. You people need to understand that people with cancer or had cancer are one edge with these visits and your unprofessional and customer unfriendly attitude doesn’t help. There are many other cancer facilities, I have a choice.

Dr Peles is awesome. He explains everything and genuinely cares about his patients.

My doctor was nothing but the best. The staff however is extremely rude and unprofessional the complete opposite of what they advertise when you call and get the answering machine. I had been going to the Flagler office for about 2 years and it was ok, however I am in the process of transferring to the Orlando office and it seems as though they could care less about my condition, seeing is I have been waiting for 3 weeks and I’m still waiting for the transfer to occur. I have sickle cell anemia and their lackluster to simply get some paperwork to my doctor so i can see the office closer, could not be any more difficult, it has cause me to fall into the hospital, and even though I repeatedly call they still don’t seem to care since I’m not going to be making them anymore money. I WOULDNT RECCOMEND THE FLAGLER OFFICE TO MY WORST ENEMY!

Be ready to wait a lot. Their inability to create a schedule and maintain it or at least inform you of possible delays is remarkable. Total lack of respect for your time. I wish there was another place I could go in a 20 miles radius. If I had to drive an hour it would still be worthy.

Visit with oncologist went well.Had to wait a long time before my infusion could begin waiting on blood test results and authorization from Dr. Raymond.

Negative stars. Sign in skipped us we only got called after i went to complain. Then the lab work apparently put us in checkout instead of the doctor. I noticed everyone going ahead of us again so i went up and found out why. And lastly for the 2nd week the womens soap in bathroom is broken! Its corona and no soap really !!!!!

The staff at the institute is very pleasant and always helpful and attentive to the needs of the patient.

Doctors fine, everything else terrible. Woefully understaffed, inadequate patient support except when you get to talk to your doctor. Employees do their best but there arent enough of them and staff has to bounce back and forth between West Palm and Wellington. This is greedy corporate medicine at its worst.

Out of all my doctors I see this one will not call you back for two to three days is experience with them sometimes it’s been longer when I called and asked for a reference to an appointment they made for me they said they had no knowledge of any appointments and I told them they made the appointment for so I finally after being disconnected and called back I finally walked over to the next building luckily I was close by and by the all this time I’m still on hold so finally I was able to get an answer after physically showing up to the front deskIf you call there be prepared to be on hold and when they they’ll have to call you back it seems like one department doesn’t communicate with the scheduling departments it blows me away at how in todays technology this happens but I have to say Doctor Sanyo’s and his helpers are purely professional and that’s the reason I still come here 😇🙏

Dr. Rothschild is thorough, easy to communicate with and explains things clearly. He is well informed and up to date with research. He is someone who is devoted and I trust to get the best treatment.
