Planned Parenthood - West Palm Beach Health Center

As soon as I walked in I was extremely impressed. The office was clean and inviting. A checkup visit was affordable and much less then at a private practice. No wait & very professional staff. The nurse practitioner Rachel spent time explaining everything and made me feel very comfortable. I will most certainly be back. Best gynecologist experience!

I’m so happy that after 6 months of trying and another 3 months break of going around different south Florida locations with little to no notice on cancelling my appointments.THIS LOCATION was able to get my implant out today with no problem. I did have to wait quite a bit but that’s also due to me showing up 10 minutes late (I’m coming from plantation so it is a distance).Staff was very friendly and easy to talk to!Over the phone when I had called to tell them I was running late they were understanding and was still able to keep my appointment.Honestly I’m just so pleased to have finally gotten to see a nurse practitioner able to remove implants.

Absolutely amazing experience at this Planned Parenthood. It was my first visit and I was very nervous to get an IUD. The office and doctor were wonderful and made the experience much better than I could have ever hoped for. They kept me informed and even went out of their way to do things like ask what type of music so they could play it to help me calm down during the procedure. I would absolutely recommend this service and location to my family/friends.

This location is absolutely the best service Ive ever received. Not only was everyone super friendly and welcoming, but also very informative. I got to speak to my provider Rachel and she was amazing she taught me more about the medication I was on more then the doctor who orginally put me on it. She also showed me how to detect possible health issues at home like breast cancer, which I think is super important for any women to know to monitor their health. Flo the MA was amazing as well she set me up in my room and was very easy to talk to. We shared a few laughs.All in all- what this health center provides is the reason why i go to Planned Parenthood because of the respect, strict no judgment, and the resources of information they provide for their patients. I cant wait to see everyones friendly faces at my next check up. ❤❤

I went to PP after a week of meds for a bladder infection, pretty freaked out that there were other issues because I was still feeling pretty low. The nurse (I dont remember her name, she had shorter blonde hair) was so informative and so compassionate. She even asked my pronouns, which is amazing. Turns out I had some simple issues that went untreated, and caused the misery I was in. I got a prescription and now I feel 100% better. I got a pap and wellness exam done as well. I cannot thank the nurse enough for all the information and tender care. All of the ladies up front were wonderful as well. Thank you!

Outstanding patient care, outstanding service. I have arrived at 2.58 pm for my 3.00 pm appointment and i was in the examine room by 3.10 pm. As a 36 year old woman, i have never felt this comfortable in any of my previous gynecologist experiences. Very friendly stuff, very professional attitude. Thank you for providing this service in such an affordable way at really high quality standards.

The lady on the left side at Front Desk when you enter is so rude and unprofessional. First time I went to this location, she told me her system was down so she made me to give her my insurance information after receiving my service, what I think it’s not right, she then made me to come to the front desk where she was having a plate of spaghetti and she was eating it while putting my insurance information in the system. She kept telling me the system was not working and it was down. I wasn’t able to pay for my service with my insurance card so I had to pay out of my pocket. It was noticeable that she wasn’t able to help and manage the issue in the right and professional manner. I came back today for the second time, this lady refused again to put my insurance information and instead she wanted me to put me on the finance plan. My insurance has been active and covers these services I shouldn’t be going through this. She kept telling me I was arguing with her when I was explaining her in a normal voice tone that my insurance was totally fine and she kept ignoring me and placing another payment way in the system without my consent. She was rude, unprofessional, she didn’t let me to give her my insurance info at any moment instead she decided to speak to me in an aggressive voice tone and ignore me. She then tell me she was the supervisor what I couldn’t believe since a supervisor is not supposed to treat a patient like that under any circumstances. I’m reaching out to Human Resources to better direct this situation. I can’t imagine how a person like her is working with public especially with us “women”. I can’t imagine she is being like this to all women that go there. I couldn’t have my much needed service done today because of the rudeness and unprofessionalism of this woman.

I have avoided getting a pelvic exam for a while now because of negative experiences at other doctors offices, but I decided finally to come here and was honestly blown away by the level of care and compassion. I can’t recommend it enough. The staff were fun, kind, so sensitive, so helpful. I can’t believe I ever went anywhere else for care. Thank you so much, Planned Parenthood.

Good service in person but will NOT get back to you if you call. Been waiting for over a week to sort out a birth control issue. I would suggest having your affairs in order before visiting this location.Edit 3/5/21:Do NOT go here. They were great while I was there in person, as Ive said. However, I had an issie with the pharmacy and both myself and the pharmacy tried to contact my doctor or the PP office to sort it out. It took a week and a half to get it fixed, and not by them, by the adminstrative office. The admin. office took care of it perfectly, cant say the same about this location. Today they recently called me back returning one of my many calls from several days ago and told me they were in understaffed and forgot to return my calls. Additionally, when I said ok thanks after I asked to submit a complaint and she explained the situation (which I call incompetence on) she just hung up rudely.

This Planned Parenthood is full of the most incompetent staff I have ever met. They have given me misinformation SEVERAL times (more times then I can count), they have lost my paperwork, they have what I did at certain appointments wrong in their files (which has totally screwed me), and they told me to come in to hear my test results (they wouldnt tell me on the phone) then when I got there they told me nothing was wrong but if I wanted I could pay them $120 for an HPV test that I didnt need. I seriously hate them at this point and I would recommend that no one go there EVER.

Terrible service. Run away from there...This people wait till the patient is there in person to tell them that “they can’t been seen because they are missing a lab result which the pcp didn’t send ”.....why you guys don’t check that before and call the patient or the pcp office to request that information and we don’t miss tour time ?And then you tell the patient (my mother) to go back 2 days later (Wednesday) at 4 pm and the office was close !!! Are you serious ?Now ? Next appointment is available in 1 month ! Pffff.... this office is a joke !

Waited a bit longer than I wouldve liked for my appointment but it was busy that day so I understood. The staff was very friendly and professional. The office was very clean. Great location. Very cheap without insurance so I was very happy!

Extremely awful customer service. Corporate gave me a wrong address and then when I called they gave me a new address and I was told my wait time will be an 1 1/2 hours. The black lady at the front desk with a blonde short hair cut was extremely rude when I got there. Overall the worst experience I’ve ever had!! Never coming here again. And I would definitely not recommend. Ghetto and rude!!

In March of 2020 I went to this office for exam. Everyone was super professional, helpful, and courteous. Thank you all for being so super cool and awesome (aka dope!) Avarey helped with check-in, Andrea during check-out and Rachel was the provider. Thank you all! :D :D

Wonderful service. Rachel is the best, very informative and made me feel comfortable. Wonderful front desk staff. This was my first time going to planned parenthood and I will be going back.

Unprofessional. They schedule you for a certain time and have you wait for over an hour. I came in 10 minutes prior to my appointment and managed to be waiting in the lobby for 55 minutes. I ended up just leaving.

I absolutely recommend this place. Compassionate staff as should be. They only reason there are not all 5 stars for this rating is the hours of operation. Its not helpful they seem to be closed every other day. Thats the only downside or negative thing.

Amazing staff, was completely nervous about going in alone, but they really make you feel comfortable and get you the medical attention you need, very professional and cost is reasonable (paid w/ no insurance). Would definitely recommend!!

It’s impossible to book an appointment. The website doesn’t let you, they say to call. So you call and wait in the queue for an hour, and then finally press the button to have them call you back. They call you back 30 minutes later snd no one is on the other end. SO I HANG UP AND DO THE WHOLE THING OVER AGAIN. IM JUST TRYING TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

I couldnt find the entrance (Google Maps was absolutely wrong about where it was), spent 20 minutes on hold so I could ask someone how to find it while walking around looking for it. The lady on the phone was unhelpful, and a bit rude. Didnt even bother going in since I was already 25 minutes late (and I arrived in the plaza 5 minutes early).

The person in front of the writing is very unprofessional and acts with little empathy it is Florida it is 98 degrees outside with an empty room and asks to wait outside and one thing in the state of Florida the mask is not mandatory-you cannot be forced o maybe she was a problem with Latin?

I have been to this place 6 times and I never get treated. I have had a lot of medical problems and every time I go there I never get treated. I do not recommend this place at all. I also had very bad service and did not feel welcomed at all. I finally went somewhere else and got all my stuff figured out and treated.

Terrible is not called costume service, appointment starts at 9:30 , my friend waited 1hour and 30 minutes to be answered and another hour to be diagnosed, it’s at the second visit, because on the first visit was 3 hours, please be advised don’t be late because they will have time for you, bud they late,Last place in the world

Front desk is rude and unprofessional everytime i go. changing my planned parenthood location because of this. fix your staff!!

Taking care of womens health at a reasonable cost, and making that care reasonably accessible is what good people do.

The staff goes out of their way to make sure things get done. Amazing place.
