I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Goodman. He’s an excellent physician/surgeon and equally wonderful human — a quality more elusive in medicine today. I couldn’t recommend him more highly and can only imagine how much more grateful I would feel had my condition been more serious, to have him looking after me.

This was my first surgery ever and Dr. Goodman is amazing and his bedside manner was great very honest and caring about my situation Dr. Goodman took the time to explain what was going to happen and what he planned out for me the day of Surgery. I can say that the whole staff and process was easy and stress free I will recommend Dr. Goodman his staff and Florida Cancer Center (West Palm Beach) location to everyone and Good Samaritan Hospital Outpatient Operating Staff is amazing

I always feel my stress level decrease when I walk in. The front desk staff is friendly and kind. The atmosphere is not a sterile, clinical environment, which I appreciate. I know that no matter what the news will be I am in good hands.

Dr. Goodman, his staff, and the hospital staff have been wonderful throughout my cancer journey. Dr. Goodman explained the problem, the procedures, and set my expectations from day one. Goodman was great but I never saw him again after my surgery, not even the day of hospital discharge. 2 follow ups and I only saw his PA. She was great but still.

Dr. Goodman is absolutely amazing! I am 3 weeks post-op from having a Robotic Laparascopic Radical Hysterectomy and the whole experience was great! He was very thorough and put me at ease throughout the whole process. I definitely recommend Dr. Goodman!!

Always nice and answers my questions. I have always felt that Dr. Goodman and his team have treated me and my cancer of importance. I never felt scared or alone. They prepared me for what may come with all the changes. Never took any of my questions as insignificant.

Dr. Goodman truly is a Good Man! He was a God send back in 2020 when I found out I would need emergency surgery. Dr. Goodman performed two separate procedures on me and both were extremely successful. I thank God for his life! The staff at FL Cancer Specialists are also very professional and efficient.

Dr.Goodman was absolutely amazing I had a peach sized ovarian cyst and was in bad pain he got me into the yesterday hospital and my surgery by the morning(today) ! he’s the only doctor who took it more seriously and took care of me right away . He’s an awesome doctor and surgeon ☺️ now I’m just recovering at home and will be back to work in a week or so ! if anyone needs a good doc this is him! The hospital was very nice and made me comfortable during the process as this was my first surgery. Nurse Ze and CNA Magda were so lovely so were the other nurses too ❣️

Dr Goodman, besides being a very good surgeon, hes a magnificent human being, he saved my life in a moment nobody wanted to take care of me, some doctors refused to, but he was very confident that I needed a surgery urgently, I thank him being sane!!!!!

Dr Goodman did my robotic hysterectomy a month after my cancer diagnosis from my gynecologist . Wish I could say his staff is as great as he is. Getting through on the phone is very time consuming and getting someone to call you back is ridiculous. I called 3 times and was sent to voice-mail, to have my calls returned a week later because although my calls were noticed, someone, just forgot to call me back. Im very pleased with Dr Goodman but the staff makes it hard to want to continue seeing him.

I met with Dr Goodman in December 2020 for an evaluation of an ovarian cyst . My internist had recommended him and I had also done research to find a gynecological surgeon. His credentials and experience speak for themselves. I had immediate confidence in Dr Goodman the minute I met him and knew he was the right doctor for me . Fortunately I did not need surgery then but he continues to follow up with tests every few months . His staff is excellent and his manner made me feel very comfortable. Well, first and foremost, I got my diagnosis totally unprofessionally, not only did I get my diagnosis before the nurse even walked into the room I never even got to meet my doctor. Apparently I have a rare cancer, and while I was being sat in a room for over 45 minutes I could hear about 3 to 5 nurses conversing about the diagnosis,How to pronounce it, what it is, how could they possibly be able to word it in a way that I could understand, and why the doctor does not want to come in the room to see me because he himself didn’t know how to explain it, and rather his own nurses explained it for me since they are females .If you’re going to have a sad private conversation about my diagnosis to me , why do you have to have a whole open door conversation with multiple nurses about it first? The smartest thing to do would have been to maybe close the door and your office door that way not i couldn’t hear in the next-room with the door open. Before the nurse came in I had already done the research on, Google and got more information from the web then them , so yes, I will be getting a second opinion. However, you should value patient’s privacy. I was already nervous going into a cancer center at my age to figure out what kind of cancer I had and if it was in my system, but I couldn’t get a straight answer from the nurse and she said that the doctor was supposed to come and explain it, she did her best and provided me with all the papers I asked for however, she said the most that they can do is wait and see if symptoms change but to follow up with my other doctors for pain medication in full schedule me for follow up within the next six months…!!! Ha,That is if I won’t be dead in six months . And that is the main reason why us black women are being Failed by the medical system over and over and over again because they want us to play this waiting game but Will be waiting long enough until you’re dead.

When I first hired Dr Goodman, he seemed very nice, however I had to call the office many times before I could even get my first appointment. The office staff never called me back after 3 calls. On the 4th call I got in touch with Brenda, the nurse practitioner to finally schedule a day to come consult with the doctor. The doctor did my surgery and I saw him one time at the hospital a few hours after surgery. After that, I never saw Dr Goodman or heard from him. I felt like just a number to him. My first post op appointment was with a physician assistant who was not even involved in the surgery. I asked myself why didn’t I see my doctor who actually did the surgery. Second and third and fourth appointment and never saw Dr Goodman. On top of everything , they would not extend my STD for work. This hurt me financially and jeopardized my job. I would not recommend this office to anyone who wants to feel like a patient and not just like another person who needs a hysterectomy. This is a serious surgery affecting a woman and her hormones and to be treated like this was terrible. I am really shocked how I was treated. Some doctors just are in it for the money.

I was lucky to have Dr. Goodman as the surgeon preforming the removal of 2 ovarian dermoid cysts that I had no clue about until I ended in the ER. The hospital staff all spoke very highly of him and he was able to save both ovaries. Surgery went well and my both follow ups he was very caring.

The only reason I am giving 5 stars is bc they keep removing my 1 star review. Dr. Goodman is a negligent and dangerously incompetent physician who deserves to be reprimanded and have his license revoked for failure to diagnose my tumor that was the size of a boulder. I very wrongly trusted him with my life. Stay far away if you care about your health.

I went to the Florida Cancer Specialists nervous and concerned. Dr. Howard Goodman entered the room and addressed my concerns and clearly explained the process and helped me to understand steps that would be taken. I left confident that I was in the best hands.

Today Mr. Goodman removed my Massive cyst I never got a chance to say thank you because I didn’t wake up in time. I just want to say thank you so much I feel 100% better I loved the fact you took you time and explain everthing to me and you made me feel very comfortable. Also a big thank you to your assistant Lynn. You guys did a great job❤️

Dr Goodman performed surgery on me in 1999 and saved my life. I am forever grateful to him and his staff. Had chemo and radiation in Morristown NJ after. So blessed! Thank you and God Bless you

He is a very kind doctor. He explained everything well and he listened to everything I had to say. I was not afraid at all to have my surgery done by him. He removed my mass, ovaries and both fallopian tubes. He did the best job. Im happy I chose him as a doctorI would recommend him and see him again. He is a wonderful doctor. Great personality and very knowledgeable.

Doctor Goodman cared for me from the year 2000 to 2010. I have not seen him since but because he was an excellent Dr in every way including compassion, I am going back with problems once again.This is now the year of 2017. It has been 7 years since I have seen Dr GoodmanSincerely,Cheryl R Horton

On august 2017, I had the honour of being a patient of Dr. Goodman at Good Samaritan Medical Center, he is an excelent and very good and compassionate human being, he decided to carry out the surgery even though he knew I was unsured, he treated me with kindness, compassion, there exists no words to express how grateful I am to him, he saved my life!, I recommend him 💯!

Honestly the Doctor is good but his stuff is not efficient, the system that they use is horrible, it take forever to be able to talk to someone that can schedule appointments (schedule department) they call you back asking to return their call but is almost impossible to get in touch them, took me about a week of calling and waiting 15 to 20 minutes on the line, worse client care ever.

All the staff are professional, friendly, and caring.

Sucecssful partial hysterectomy.

I was disappointed because I had an appointment with Dr. Goodman but I never saw him. The nurse practitioner came in and out of the room several times and spoke with him in between, but he did not come into the room to see me or talk to me. I have been to the office three times and was told twice that the appointments were with the doctor himself, but have never seen him in the office at all. I like the nurse practitioner, but feel this is very misleading.

EVEN THOUGH THIS YEAR HAS BEEN SO DIFFICULT FOR ME BECAUSE I WAS IN A LITTLE DELICATE HEALTH, I HAD THE GREAT JOY OF MEETING THIS MAGNIFICENT AND WONDERFUL DOCTOR IN MY LIFE WHEN I NEEDED HIM MOST HE CAME TO ME LIKE AN ANGEL AND FROM MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH HIM HE GAVE ME SO MUCH CONFIDENCE SERENITY WITH A FAITH AS IMMENSE AS A MOUNTAIN THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO GO WELL AND IT WAS THE SAME WAY HE OPERATED ON ME ON DECEMBER 29TH AT THE GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL AND I WILL BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH YOU, FOR THAT OPERATION THAT YOU PERFORMED ON ME, AS WELL AS ALL THE PATIENTS YOU HAVE CARED FOR, EVEN A FEW DAYS AFTER BEING OPERATED, I FELT VERY GOOD AND WAS BARELY IN PAIN AND I OWE ALL THAT TO YOU FOR THAT GREAT WISDOM IN YOUR SPECIALTY YOUR HANDS WERE BLESSED AND WITH A LOT OF MAGIC AT THE MOMENT YOU OPERATED ON ME ALONG WITH THE OTHER DOCTORS WHO WERE THERE IN THE ROOM WITH ME THANK YOU THOUSANDS DOCTOR GOODMAN MAY GOD GIVE YOU GREAT HEALTH MANY YEARS OF LIFE SO THAT YOU CAN CONTINUE TAKING CARE OF US WOMEN OF THE WHOLE WORLD 🙏🙏💚💚🦋🦋
