Planned Parenthood - Central Massachusetts Health Center

Went in for HRT refill and the staff there was incredible. Ive been to several planned parenthood locations and ive yet to had a negative experience with any of them. They made me feel safe and comfortable the whole time through. c:

I recently got an iud inserted here and it was a very pleasant experience. I was so scared I walked in practically shaking because I didn’t know what to expect. Chris R took me into the room and took my vitals, and offered to stay in the room during the procedure because she could see how nervous I was. Her and Dr. Rebecca Levin were nothing short of amazing the entire time. They walked me through each step and calmed my nerves. Would highly recommend.

Your automated message system says press 1 for an ultrasound appointment. Then you say you dont do ultrasounds at your clinic ?! Ridiculous.

Danielle the RN was rude and couldnt have been less helpful if she tried. Her manager wasnt any better and tried to gaslight me after telling her the details of my issues there. Im sorry if you feel that way is not an apology.. dont know who taught you it was. Couldnt even get an ultrasound referral set up without it being sent back several times. Never had an issue going to PP for my check ups until now.

Telehealth NP was amazing. She is a great advocate and understood the gravity of my situation and urgent need for referral to an outside surgeon so my situation does not turn into an emergency. I was not able to get proper referrals elsewhere to physicians that took my insurance/ and the one I got elsewhere was unwilling to take out a painful mass that prevents me from working and opted to make me “wait it out,” despite a high risk of complications/ possibility it won’t go away because of the size of this mass. I feel like this NP is in my corner and truly understands the risks and detriment the pain has on my quality of life when I have no need/ interest in preserving fertility. Thanks so much!

SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I’m a college student in the area and was looking to get an IUD inserted. I have always been skeptical of Planned Parenthood but after my experience there I have a new respect! The staff was incredible - so nice and knowledgeable. They made me feel really comfortable. Would definitely recommend going there for any girls who are looking for birth control!

I used to get regular testing done here when I lived in the area. The staff have always been excellent. They take the sensitive nature of their care seriously and are appreciative and respectful of people who come in for precautionary std screeening; as someone who is terrified of hospitals and medical staff but still wants to do the right thing this goes a long way for me.

I am so grateful for planned parenthood and everything they do for the community. It’s a safe space, I never feel judged here or out of place, or afraid to speak up about problems. The staff here is always really pleasant and patient and very helpful!

They do not care about womens health, I made my appointment from out of town because I am in town for work and away from my primary care provider which would throw off the birth control cycle. I drove an hour to get there because the website is flawed and they didn’t accept my appointment because it didn’t go through in their system. They did not care that I traveled an hour and the office was empty so they could have taken the time to see me. This place doesn’t stand for anything anymore, definitely not womens health! Pitiful.

Planned parenthood has helped me so much more over the years with BC and testing of many kinds, much more than my own gyno and primary. They helped me learn my body and I appreciate all the help that they give to everyone !

If I could give zero, I would. After a religious lecture and including my boyfriend in a private lite chat in the hallway without my permission or knowledge when I made it clear I didnt want him in the room, they sent me home telling me I wasnt pregnant.They did a urine test and an ultrasound.Five days later I was rushed in to emergency surgery for a 9 week ectopic that almost killed me.Never, ever, ever go here. Ive contacted them and was hung up on, told I had the wrong office, and not a single of my mailings and emails were responded to.

Do not go here if you have Nexplanon birth control implant in your arm. It expires at 3 years and when you go to get it removed they will tell you its good for 4 years. WHICH IS A LIE! ITS ONLY 3 YEARS. Because I listened to them i had to take time off from work to go to a surgeon to get sedated to get it removed because it was too deep to be removed the normal way because it stayed in longer than it was supposed to. I went to an OBGYN and they said there has not been studies that says it can be in for 4 years due to that reason. For any birth control needs go see a real OBGYN not this place!

This is why I hate getting only 3 months worth of birth control at a time. As soon as I run out it’s so difficult to get in touch with someone to re-up on my prescription. You guys need to fix up your hours on google, your never open when you say you are.

All of the staff are wonderful.

Not me having to wait over an hr when I had an appointment made 2 weeks in advance for 11:45 is currently 12:52 and I’m sitting in the lobby waiting. People who have checked in after me have been seen and I’m still waiting!? I’m afraid to say anything. The lady at the front desk seems to have some attitude problem.

This is a terrific organization providing aid to pregnant women with needs. They provide counseling, ultrasound, financial assistance and more.Ive supported their efforts for women financially for years now.

Kind, respectful, supportive and informed.

Place is great! Staff is easy going and make you feel extremely comfortable. Will definitely be going back!
