She explained from start to finish everything that was going to happen before during and after my surgery.. Her staff was amazing they were very patient with me even when I was late to my appointment. Thanks Dr. Schneider you are an amazing Doctor.

Dr Gutierrez-Schieffer has been my Dr for a number of years. She is a very good Dr. I’ve had some challenges and she was there to treat me and guide me through the process. My surgery was a success. She is relatable, reliable and she listens to you. I couldn’t ask for a better Dr. and nursing staff. They are all awesome.

Doctor Schieffer is not my main doctor but I had to schedule with her since my main doctor was out of office. Doctor Schieffer was great, I was already nervous going in seeing someone new but she made me feel comfortable and answered all the questions I had. I did not feel rushed out of her office she took her time. I would recommend doctor Schieffer to any lady looking for a OBGYN doctor she’s great!

My first baby was with a midwife. After getting the best prenatal care experience it was hard to leave the midwives. Doctor Schieffer was nice, kind, positive energy, and nurturing. She was reassuring, and listened to my concerns and didn’t give me the feel of needing to rush for the next patient. I’m so happy I found her!She’s made me look forward to this journey after sadly finding out I am not healthy enough to do a home birth again. I searched around when I was new in the area and have going here for several years now. They have a great staff; Dr. Schieffer always has time to talk about any concerns and answer my questions. When I need to get in, they help me get a quick appointment. She has a great bedside manner, she is down to earth and seems to really care about her patients. By looking at all the posted photos on her office walls of the babies she has delivered, I can tell she loves all these new mothers and babies as well!

Very upset with the staff and appointments. We moved to Austin recently. We setup an appointment with the Doctor over 2 months ago, because we needed a Doctor who speak Spanish for my wife. And today, we were told that a day before her appointment that she is no longer receiving new patients. Now we have have to wait 2 more months for another Doctor, since apparently she no longer available.

Came to Dr. Gutierrez Schieffer for my two first ever prenatal appointments. Didn’t know what to expect since I’ve never had a baby before, I’m nervous. She had the dirtiest room, there were brown marks on the wall, dirt on the floor, scuffs on the cabinets. She didn’t ask me any questions or anything! Just did the ultrasound and left, and didn’t even wipe the ultrasound gel off after she was done! I had to use the white sheet they put on me to try to wipe it off when she left the room. Brought my fiancé with me and she didn’t look at him or introduce herself or say anything to him. And that was his first ever appointment and seeing the baby and she made our experience which is supposed to be exciting, pretty uncomfortable. Went to Dr. Devine in the next office and noticed a huge difference. She asked a lot of questions and introduced herself to me and my fiancé. And made us feel included.

We cannot thank Dr. Schieffer enough for the exceptional care she provided us during our pregnancy and birth of our first baby. She takes wonderful care of her patients and has a natural ability to calm first time mothers! Very professional and personable! Would not go with anyone else for OBGYN!!!

Dr. Yvette Gutierrez-Schieffer was the best doctor I could have ever asked for. Her nurse, Michelle, was ALWAYS helpful whenever I had any concerns during my pregnancy. I had to be induced the day before thanksgiving. I saw Dr. Schieffer around 7 AM November 27th, then again around 12, and she was there at 2:13 AM November 28th to deliver my babygirl. She, and her staff, were always so personal, caring, made sure I knew everything about my pregnancy and baby each visit. My check up appointment was amazing, we talked all types of birth control, all my nurses during the pregnancy were able to see what she looked like now, they gave me a private space to breastfeed before I had to get back on the road! I was so thankful. She gave me a cute little yellow and white burp cloth with her name, a stork, and “Special Delivery by:”. I absolutely love her, and would recommend her and her staff to anyone, they truly made my pregnancy special.

Ive never had to wait very long, shes super personable and remembers every detail about you and your spouse. Love her. My insurance changed and I couldnt see her this year and felt like I cheated on her with another not so great Dr. This Dr is wonderful! I will be switching insurance before getting pregnant again so I can go through it with her yet again.

Dr. Schieffer ended up filling in for my ob/gyn to deliver my baby. She was awesome. She walked me through pushing and she stitched me up. although I didnt get to thank her because I was too busy being excited about my son being born. But she did a great job

Doctor Schieffer is so amazing. She has been my ob more than 13 years. However the adc has made it so difficult for her to have the appropriate amount of time for each patient. The appointment have a long wait and then you are rushed out :( Pregnancy brings with it alot of questions that tend to be left unanswered when doctors dont have time for patients. She delivered my first child an will deliver this one. I only wished shed have more time for my concerns.

I love Dr. Schieffer. She have been my OB/GYN for about 5 years. She is straight forward and doesnt withhold information. Including knowledgeable in her area of practice.Most importantly she listens to my concerns.

Dr. Schieffer is literally the best. Ive been seeing her since 2013 and come June she will have delivered all 3 of my girls.Her and her staff and friendly and make you feel well informed during your pregnancy and after.Ive heard horror stories from friends whos doctors didnt listen to them or inform them enough, and this is something you will not find here!I 100% recommend Dr. Schieffer!

I’ve had annual exam and told the doctor about my fertility problems. She said she’ll do referral to Fertility Institute for specific procedure. Several days later, referral was not sent, and I missed that month. Doctor’s nurse called me and asked to try next month, cause they will have sent referral by then. So next month I’m calling to FI make an appointment, and they still do not have referral and will not accept me. It seems that my referral was forgotten to be sent again, while my card was charged extra for that appointment. It is also impossible to reach her nurse line, voice message is only option. I will never return to this doctor

Dr. Schieffer performed my endometrial ablation on February 8, 2019. I could not be happier with the results. She was always so personable every single time I went to see her, and her nurse is such a sweetheart. I would recommend Dr. Schieffer to any woman looking for a gynecologist. She is the BEST!!!!

Love, love, love Dr. Schieffer! I saw her for 8 years and was always thrilled with her service. I was always very comfortable with her and trust her advice and expertise completely. I have recommended her to friends and will continue to.

When she did my pap she had me put my legs up and then open the door to call for the woman. And then when feeling me breasts she pinch my nipples and that really hurt since Im pregnant. But she rushed through everything else. It was if she was in such a rush that she didnt pause while talking to I didnt really get to say anything. And then when we went to do my ultrasound she told me instead of getting dressed and going to the other room she had me wrap a sheet around myself and walk down the office hall way and after the ultra sound she had told me to go get blood taken and then briefly said where to go and left but before I could get my pants on another dr with a couple were walking in. The dr said sorry and that schieffer had told her I left. When i went to get blood taken they werent even excpecting me. And now its been over a week and i still havent heard back to hear weather my blood work was okay. not saying this is all horrible but this is my first baby and it was my first visit. So it was a bit unsettling especially since she was recommended to me by my friend that had both her children delived by her. When I talked to her about how my first visit went she said that none of that happened to her and she even apologized because she talked to highly about this woman and then I was treaten way different. I would definitely recommend looking at cornerstone in round rock. Such a nice staff and the drs are nice.UPDATE: I now have a nice big bill for things I didnt give permission for then to do. I sign for 4 tests but nothing more. It has also taken them 6 months to fax over my file to my current dr

Dr. Schieffer as been my obgyn since my second son was born in 2001. She’s dependable, relatable, and understands the needs and wants of her patients. Keep up the great work!

Horrible service, I went to 3 appointments. First appointment was for a physical and concerns of fertility. She saw I had an ovarian cyst through an ultrasound in my uterus, didn’t told me about it, but took notes in my medical records.Second and third was after getting pregnant. Nurse during these first weeks of pregnancy would never call back for results or questions. And I am talking about waiting 7 days and not receiving a call back. Every time I was the one that had to call back to follow up and most of the time would have to leave a VM.One morning I start bleeding, it seems like I was having a miscarriage. My husband call her office and the nurse told him that the only way Dr Schieffer would see me was taken me to the St David’s North ER which he agree and told them we were on our way. We live about an hour away and she never show up, actually she took off after our call. Dr. Schieffer’s nurse claim after that it was my foreign accent and didn’t pronounce her last name correctly which she made up, since my husband is from here and he was the one that ask for her. ER staff said nurse was not picking the phone and they couldn’t believe she didn’t inform me I had a ovarian cyst and dual uterus, since it was in my records. That’s where my bleeding was coming from.Dr Yvette Gutierrez-Schieffer can be unprofessional, she is always in a rush, her nurses provides horrible service and you pay above average prices. Just look into all the bad reviews through the different websites. Please improve your services and staff !!

She doesnt care about the patient. It was my normal time to go in for my pap/pelvic/mammagram, so I make an appt. I tell her that there is a bit of pain and ask if its normal. She says it probably nothing but lets check it out. So, I go in. They find nothing. But, instead of a code for a reg mammagram, she does a diagnostic. So, now, instead of free(to me), my insurance doesnt pay and I am out hundreds of dollars and she wont change the code because I said there was a bit of pain. Well, geez, I have a cough during my yearly check up, why dont you put the codes in so that the insurance pays nothing because Im not feeling so good. Thanks a lot.
