I was visiting Austin when I had to go to the ER with sudden, excruciating pain. I waited until the last possible second because I was terrified of another bad ER experience. To my relief, it was the complete opposite.First, I had the option to check in online before I got there to ensure a shorter wait time. When I got to the waiting room, I was seen almost immediately. Also, everything about the place felt new and clean.Second, Dr. Czarnik and Nurse Fatima were incredible. They knew immediately what was wrong, they were extremely empathetic the entire time, and acted FAST. After explaining everything, they had me out of pain and on the road to recovery in less than two hours.Finally, they were extremely accommodating with my health insurance. I recently went on Cobra which causes all sorts of issues with coverage. They were able to help me out financially with the visit/procedure and the prescription making the cost maybe even more affordable than going through my normal insurance.Thank you so much!!

While this place is probably not on your top lists of places to be on a Saturday night, should you find yourself there you are in good hands! My boyfriend stupidly went on a 4 hour run in the middle of Texas summer with little to no water and he was severely dehydrated and going into acute renal failure (his kidneys were not happy with his choices). Dr Craig De Waal and Cass helped him to feel better ASAP and be on the road to better health! Cass was absolutely hilarious and also a true professional. You can tell that the doctors, nurses, and staff truly care about the patients and do their all to put patients at ease. All staff were helpful and caring, even when my boyfriend was being very dramatic. I wont lie, the receptionist did seem super annoyed at us at first but I think shes probably seen a lot of B.S. being off of Riverside so thats understandable and she was super nice and patient with us at the end so no harm done. The only thing that I wish I had done was arrive in comfortable clothing because we were there for awhile! I would definitely recommend AEC if you are in need of an emergency room but dont want to wait forever! Thank you to the staff for being such awesome people!

Can’t say enough good things about my experience here! I was lucky enough to be taken care of by Eric (ER tech), Cass (nurse), and Dr. Singh. They quickly assessed my symptoms and were so kind and incredibly communicative through the whole process. Cass was so lovely and took time to explain everything she was doing and reassured me every step of the way. Dr. Singh ran some labs, sat down with me, and explained what everything meant for me personally. This is the special touch that can often be missing when receiving emergency care. I really valued how he assessed me and level set on expectations and goals for my time under their care. Everyone had amazing bedside manner and helped me feel better quickly. You don’t want to end up in the ER, but if you do, this team is the team you want!

Literally, this is not how you plan on spending vacation in the emergency room. The staff here are amazing, made me laugh, and feel so comfortable. Would absolutely recommend if you find yourself in an emergency. I wish I could take Dr. Doliner back home with me to Dallas because he was the absolute sweetest. Nurse Cass, Michelle, and Eric all need to pack there bags, Dallas needs kind staff like you.

I loved Fatima she was a really good nurse and Dr.Patterson was attentive and helpful. I got in and out . It was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. I really appreciate the front desk too and everyone there !

HORRIBLE front desk staff. I’ve never been treated more rude in my life. Michelle the registration clerk cusses like patients can’t hear her and then gets mad when they say something! She also lets homeless people just come in and make themselves comfy in the waiting room! Doctors and nurses were great.

Great staff that genuinely makes you feel at ease during your tough day. Very clean and calm atmosphere. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in need of emergency medical support and attention! Will be on the top of my list for any future incidents.

The staff were very friendly, wait time wasnt too bad, like 30 minutes to see a doctor. I came in with sudden severe knee pain, barely able to stand. My nurse who walked me in could see I could barely walk. But my doctor only saw me sitting, I was in agonizing pain the whole time, got a shot for inflammation that didnt really relieve the pain at all, and a steroid drink. I asked if they were going to give me anything for the pain, they said this is for the pain I was said what if it hurts tomorrow? Said I probably wouldnt get meds. Taking 2 Tylenol and 2 ibuprofen every 3 hours with a heating pad on my knees, at home in excruciating pain, barely able to stand. Being out and about instead of just resting probably hurt me more than it helped. Again, the staff were very nice, especially Fatima. I just feel like the doctor underestimated my pain or thought I might be a drug-seeker. I get it, in todays society... there was no visual indicators of the damage, besides me struggling to stand at 30yo, they didnt do any tests, but it just sucks because I have to suffer like this. I never go to the doctor, and this experience kind of put me off from going in the future.

Amazing!! Dr. De Waal and whole staff was incredible and very kind and attentive!! I walked in and wait time was well under an hour!! While i was waiting after X-ray and was given a warm blanket & gatorade!! Amazing will definitely return of needed/recommend to friends (: great experience!!

I had cut my pinky basically off and I had a great experience I have never had stitches. Nurse Cass was and welcoming when she got me out of the waiting area. Eric was also amazing he made sure I knew I was going to all good during me getting stitches . Dr Rice was amazing and quick. Katherine was also so sweet to me in the front when I first came in. This was the fastest er visit I have ever had .

The best staff ever! All around good people I left feeling better just in their positive warm spirits. Thank you for your medical attention. The doctor was a sweetheart.

My nurse Cass was absolutely amazing! I have been here before for a car accident and I had the more horrible experience from check in to my doctor, and I told myself and my children I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER COME BACK. today I decided to give them another chance and my nurse Cass was amazing from the time getting me to my room to check out! My Doctor was Dr. Edwards and he was nice as well

Dr.Irving the woman that you are!! Came in with shortness of breath. Doc heard me coughing from down the hall and ordered my breathing treatment before even making it in the room. The entire team was so kind, funny, informative and patient. Shoutout to nurse Ace too!! I feel so much safer knowing this place is close by if I have an emergency.

I came in due to a sore throat and was seen in a timely manner. All the staff was very kind and helpful. I’m leaving feeling a lot better. I highly recommend Austin emergency center.

Amazing staff, all very kind and patient, but most importantly they did not rush me when I was in pain. I typically have horrible anxiety at doctors offices, but this was a great experience, I definitely recommend. Shout out to Cass for her bedside manner being awesome, thank yall!

Check-in, nurses, and doctors were very friendly and efficient. Facilities were pristinely clean and wait time was nonexistent. I would highly recommend to others. My issue was investigated thoroughly and diagnosed efficiently to get me back home to my family.

We were in a car accident and were hurting real bad. I am so so glad we decided to come to this Emergency Center because we were treated so nicely and I could really feel like they cared about us. The nurse Cass was so amazing and sweet and I am so grateful to her and also Dr. Doliner, who was so thoughtful and caring. Kasey was also amazing and I appreciated her professionalism. Thank you to all who helped us and I would really recommend everyone who needs medical help to come here.

Had a great experience using Austin Emergency Center. The staff were kind and caring. Definitely a 10/10 experience. Dr Rice was very informative and made me feel safe and comfortable. The staff Nurse Casey, Clarissa and Cass were super warm in their approach and treated me very well. Would definitely recommend Austin Emegency Center to anyone who needs quick care and hospitable care.

Definitely not a way to spend my Saturday but so glad I came into this place! Cass was amazing and talkative, Kasey the tech was super sweet.... Everyone was awesome especially Dr. Singh...ty for caring about me as a person, not just an insurance claim. I hope not to come back soon but if I do I definitely will come here.

It’s my 1st time in Austin , had to make a quick trip to ER and Priscilla greeted us making me feel welcome. Also Fatima the nurse did an amazing job they explained everything & let me know I’m not having a heat attack . I’m thankful and blessed . Thank ya’ll.

I was treated by Dr Craig De Waal and the clinic Team for COVID 19 pneumonia. I feel 100% better already thanks to their thorough treatment. If you have to drive 30 minutes further to come to this clinic, Do it. I waited 20 minutes to be seen. ( It was as Tuesday night mind you )

I just recently moved to Texas from Las Vegas and have been going to Austin Regional Clinic for my abdomen pain symptoms this past month. But this past week I couldn’t handle the pain anymore and this clinic is located close to my home. So, I came to the Austin ER twice now this week and the staff has been so amazing !! Clean facility, friendly staff and quick service. They have been diligently trying to find out what is wrong with me and have been very accommodating while I wait for results. Thank you :)

I have been to this urgent care many times (unfortunately for me) and I keep coming back because this is the best place to be treated in all of Austin in my opinion. The staff were so attentive and kind and after I got discharged, the doctor called me twice in one day to check in on me. The front desk staff are also really sweet. This location is fast, efficient and worth a visit! Look nowhere else! Thank you ER on Riverside!

I came in with severe abdominal pain (level ten), and left with a packet of test results with several red flags that were not addressed or reviewed when I was discharged. I was told they couldnt prescribe any pain management, which was incorrect. They also referred me to Gastroenterologist but really it was a piece of paper with outdated names and numbers. I continued to decline and called crying asking for pain short term pain meds the next day. The woman I spoke to was the meanest, absolute cruelest receptionist who didnt like my crying and said she would cancel my prescription if I didnt stop. Dont go here. This place is deplorable.

It was an amazing visit and they took care of all my needs and the nurse was really nice aswell the nurse Fatima and the doctor Dr. Edward’s we’re amazing aswell as the front desk lady was so polite and worked well with us

This was the most wonderful and kind experience and facility. I was on the verge of needing to go to the ER and with ZERO wait time, kind staff and quick diagnosis— Austin Emergency Center is the only place I will go from now on when needing a quick answer. Plus did I mention it’s Easter weekend and they are fully staffed? Seriously an amazing experience for a horrible situation. Dr. Jones and nurse Cass were absolutely incredible and so kind and funny. Thank you thank you. ❤️

I went in with a personal problem... I think I was a little bit of a hypochondriac. They helped me and made sure that what I thought I had, I didnt. They prescribed something that was over the counter and they were very nice they made me laugh they made me smile they cracked such awesome jokes. I laughed and when I left I was way more happier and not nervous than when I entered. Thank you. I will come back again if I have another hypochondriac attack. I recommend them to literally everyone. And me and one of the nurses have the same birthday Lergo 😂 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Even the security guard made me smile and laugh. He was so nice also.

My boyfriend was experiencing tightness and high heart rate and we got really scared we came here and they treated us really well ran the necessary test quickly and got him back on his feet. Would recommend to anyone.

I visited this ER on 7/7 due to consistent fevers, neck and back pain. I was concerned for meningitis, but due to having covid and taking paxlovid a little over 2 weeks ago, I was reassured that it could be “rebound covid.” I was swabbed for flu and covid which both came back negative. Urine sample was taken as well. I was given tylenol and ibuprofen, about an hour later at discharge my temp was 102.9. It hadn’t gone down since getting the meds. I did not feel confident that I had rebound covid because my symptoms never manifested this way. At the time, I didn’t realize my urine sample had resulted trace leukocytes which could indicate a UTI. I came back to Houston and got a second opinion at another ER as soon as the hurricane cleared out. I am so glad I did because I had strep and a UTI. I was started on antibiotics right away. All this to say, if you feel uncertain about your diagnosis at one facility, please get a second opinion so you can get the care you really need.

Amazing staff all across! They really made my visit comfortable and talked me through the whole process step by step. I really recommend this ER is clean, doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and they do what is best for you. Dr Czamik, Drew,Kasey and Ethan really helped me with my issue. Michelle is the front desk is super sweet! Overall a really great experience

This ER is so nice my 4 year old Granddaughter was so spoiled here! She was scared at first but they all were so gentle with her and she was taken care of so fast! Have to say Thank you for such a kind experience here!

The care at Austin emergency center was absolutely wonderful. I had little to no wait time, registration was quick and staff was super friendly. Such a safe and warm environment!

The staff at AER have been amazing! We got in quickly (Clarissa at the front desk was nice!) and the two nurses/techs who helped us were also so friendly and helped relax the patient and helped him when he was a little afraid of the shot (shoutout to Selena and kasey!). The doctor (Dr. Jones!) was really sweet and tested for a lot of things (to make sure she was correct). Then she explained multiple options (X-ray or ct scan) for us to do, which was nice. We’re still here, but I’m confident enough from our journey so far to give them a 5-star rating now!

We were in town for a conference when one of my coworkers hurt her ankle. Someone recommend Austin Emergency Center and we came here to have it looked at. Everyone was super nice! The facility was clean and we were seen super quickly. The admin rep Michelle at the front desk was super friendly and helped us through the paperwork process. Dr. Rice was pleasant and explained everything clearly and Drew, our nurse, and Kasey the radiology tech were very kind. Overall we had a good experience and we would highly recommend them!

I was not prepared for the overwhelming kindness, quality & professionalism offered by the staff of this Austin Emergency Center in Riverside. Wow — from the moment you enter the lobby & are greeted, you sense this place is special. I highly recommend that anyone & everyone visit here should they be in need. The quality of service & care is incredible & truly from the heart.My story — I walked in around 1am because I had a minor yet concerning issue … I had just discovered that one of my plastic earring backs had been pulled into my pierced earring hole over the course of wearing them a few days.After several hours of trying to remove it, I knew I needed help … a kind & steady hand with tweezers behind my ear to pull it out. However I’m experiencing significant financial hardship & am also without health insurance, so I was terrified to enter this building. I expected the worst in terms of price gouging & lack of care. I had no idea how wrong I was — this place is AMAZING.First I was greeted by Julie, who was so patient & kind in listening to my financial hardships & then explaining their billing process. Most important — she was very clear that I would not be charged a penny until after a free screening with the Doctor. Julie gave me full confidence that she would discuss all potential charges with me before I agree to anything. I trusted her right away, and as a transgender woman she also went way beyond to offer me kindness in asking how I prefer to call myself, etc. She melted my heart with her genuine care, and gave me an example of how to carry myself in this world. Thank you, Julie. 💕✨And then I was introduced to Ashley, the nurse — equally caring, compassionate, present & bright. She also thoughtfully inquired about my gender as I was led back to a treatment room.The entire building is spotless, with clear energy & very clean facilities. I was truly impressed.After an incredibly brief moment, Dr Tan entered with her tech, Beth. Again — incredible presence & wisdom flowed gracefully from them both. At this point I was overwhelmed by the positive vibe & experience of this place. Dr Tan & Beth both thoughtfully inquired about my injury, after listening to me share my concerns again about not being able to afford any treatments.Without hesitation, Dr Tan & Beth worked together to quickly remove the earring back from my pierced ear hole. I was shocked by their immediate care & overwhelmed with gratitude. The Dr even showed me her personal earring backs & recommended I look into safer options.After all of this kindness & care … Julie entered to let me know that I was discharged … my visit & care was 100% free of charge. I haven’t felt such relief in ages, stress shed from my body as I suddenly felt the immense exhaustion I had been pushing down for a while now.To make things even more incredible, Julie gave me a Starbucks gift card upon leaving so that I could get myself something to eat. I want to cry just thinking about this … I still don’t know what to say other than “bless you.”Bless you Julie. Bless you Ashley. Bless you Beth. Bless you Dr. Tan. Bless everyone who works at Austin Emergency Center in Riverside. This place is beyond high quality — it’s clearly operated with open hearts full of love & care for all who enter. My family and I have been raving about this ER all weekend. Outstandingly clean in every room and I was seen immediately during an overnight holiday visit. The staff treated my pain seriously and quickly, but never ceased to be friendly and patient. Thank you for your care:)

Very quick to be treated, no long wait times, and the staff all listened to what was going on and helped provide treatment, and anticipated my needs. Cass was amazing, and even gave me a ton of other options to help treat myself in the future.

All of the medical staff here are some of the best. Helped me feel comfortable with everything, especially after just moving to the area recently and not having family with me. Went in for sutures after a bike crash. Dr. DeWalt tended to my needs quickly and professionally. Selena the nurse was great and put me at ease.

Was checked in quickly, the staff asked good questions so they understood exactly what I was feeling. Every interaction with the staff was open and inviting. The facility was clean and the staff was very attentive to keep you comfortable.

Dr. Waals and my nurse Cass were amazing. Could not have been kinder or more attentive. - The entire staff at Austin Emergency Center are true angels.

Everyone was so welcoming and made the visit a lot more pleasant. Having to go to urgent care with kids can be stressful and scary, and we are fortunate to have come here for help! They’re the best!

Cass was amazing and I will be coming back to this clinic ever time I’m in need🫶🏿🩵 the front desk was well informed with how should maneuver since I’m from out of state and Texas doesn’t take out of state Medicaid Dr.Dolinn was amazing I didn’t wait more the 5 mins for him to see me all in all I had a great experience even though I hate goin to the doctor…Cass clearly cares about people and her job!

All the doctors and nurses at the place were so nice and so very kind with everyone I had to stay overnight and they took care of me all through the night. I would recommend this place, to anyone that is in need of medical assistance I would much rather go there than go to the hospital myself I was taken in within 5 minutes from my arrival time. Within 5 minutes of the time that I arrived I was taken back and started treating me this is a great place to go to.

2nd time here within the past 4-5 . The team they have here is always on top of getting me in & out as quickly & comfortable as much as possible. Dr. Czarnik & nurse Cass were amazing

The ER team great! Right from the admission rep to the doctor, nurse and the techs. They took good care of me and ensured I was comfortable here while I was going through the tests. Would highly recommend the AEC!

Dr.Dalby/Cass/Dal/Clarisse. Helped me every step through the visit. Made me feel comfortable at all times. Checked up on me and even followed up to keep me in the loop on issues that were taking longer than normal. Business I had here was professional. Although it could have been faster there wasn’t much in their control so I can’t blame them. Would definitely be back in confidence knowing this is the team working on me

UPDATE!! After receiving a bill for $350, I received what these scam artists charged my insurance. $7000 for a two hour appointment for a food allergy. $700 for one round of Prednisone!! I would rather suffer in pain than to EVER go there again. They take advantage of unsuspecting people by over charging ludicrous prices. Huge middle finger to you guys. You suckA bit of a wait, but friendly and professional.

I was in a car accident that didn’t kill me but what was even more fortuitous was that I walked into the urgent care on a night when the best team was there to receive me and possibly save my life. I was experience muscular pain in my chest that made me feel a bit heavy chested. Whether this was a red flag or not, I do not know. What I do know is these amazing people- dr. Dewaal, nurse Carmela, and Beth the radiology tech took the precaution to give me a thorough check that resulted in an early diagnosis for something that otherwise would’ve gone unnoticed until it was too late. Big shout out to Beth, who shares a name with the daughter of the smartest man in the universe and whose eagle eye spotted the red flag. Idk what happens from here, but I know that everything happened the way it was supposed to which tells me that someone or something wants me to squeeze every drop of life I can get out of this world. No, I probably won’t go BASE jump from an active volcano, but I will do whatever I can to see my nieces and nephews smiling faces for as many years as I can muster and that is better than any adrenaline rush I could ever have. Michelle, you’re the realest. Ethan, I know you’d have my back if I needed compressions. I will toast your names to anyone who will listen.

I came in with a severe migraine - sobbing for eight hours prior, just felt like absolute death in general - and the staff at Austin ER quickly got me into a dark room with a comfy bed, blanket and pillow and really listened to me and asked questions and did what was needed. I cannot thank Tech Zayed, Nurse Cass, and Dr. Doliner enough for the quick and helpful treatment - I will absolutely come here for any emergency in the future

Nicest ER visit ever! They made sure to have me be comfortable the whole time - including getting me a blanket. They also made sure to help me through my needle phobia. Will come here again

Dr. Czarink, nurse Cass, and the entire staff were excellent and got me seen right away. I came in thinking I had a big bite but left finding out it was a 2nd degree burn! lol great service I will definitely be back should I have another emergency 💜

Great ER. IN AND OUT in an hour and a half. They were so hospitable and nice. Ive never thought I could have a good time at an ER but the staff made it so great. Maria, Manny, and Zayed were awesome 👍

This was by far the best ER experience I’ve had. Dr Patterson, Selena, Z, Ann, Manny and Mike were wonderful. The team was knowledgeable, professional and kind. Everyone was very attentive and explained all of my questions so well. Paperwork was fast and easy to complete. The wait was not at all long. The facility was immaculate and organized which made me feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend Austin Emergency Center: Riverside Emergency Room. It’s definitely my ER of choice!

Walked in and was nicely greeted by Clarisse she was very professional and she was very patience with me and I was seen shortly after and they treated me so kindly here. Dr. Tan was thorough when walking me through everything in a way I would understand she is a true pro at her job and the nurse drew was so nice and made me feel really comfortable checking me at first and walking me through what was gonna happen and Ethan even provided me a blanket and both Ethan and Drew made small talk with me and answered any questions that I may of had and that helped me with my anxiety when it comes to doctor offices/ERs I just wanna say thank you all for the short notice help I really appreciate it

I visited this ER today and was very impressed. The entire process was easy, smooth & quick. I’m cash pay and I especially appreciate the doctor was thoughtful to not order any tests he wasn’t certain I needed.They are a private ER, so they don’t take insurance like a hospital would (you may want to call to confirm they take your provided), but I thought their cash pay prices were reasonable (compared to what I’ve seen other providers charge). They have a sheet with clear pricing so I knew exactly what to expect payment wise as a cash pay person.This was such a better experience than going to a giant hospital. Highly recommend! I’ll head here before the standard hospital ER. (They said they can set you up on a payment plan if you need it too).

Best staff I have ever encountered! I would recommend this to anyone. I have never felt so heard and cared for like I did here. Hands down the best care facility I have ever been to.

Holy Smokes, I’ve never experienced such care, attentiveness, and service. Breaking my foot on Christmas Day was the worst possible thought to go through but the staff made the experience pleasant and comfortable. They were all very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. What’s more is that they were all so happy and kind, even working on Christmas Day. I hope I never have to encounter this staff again (knock on wood) but if I do need emergency medical attention, I will absolutely be coming here!

I went in with yet another Kidney Infection and I was utterly amazed at the level of quality care I received. Nurse Drew was so very kind and took EXCELLENT care of me. I was seen by Dr. Tan, and I have to say, she was by far, one of the better doctors I have seen in quite some time. She asked questions, and I was left with the feeling that she really listened to what I was saying. She thoroughly explained the actions she was taking, but not in a clinical way, it came across that she was treating me like a person, not just a patient. I would recommend this facility as one of the better E.R centers. Top notch, and quality care.

Everyone was kind and I was seen quickly. I was seen by Dr Tan and nurse Fatima who wer very sweet and explained things well.

I really really wish I could have given 100 stars! Everyone here was very professional. The waiting to be seen in the emergency room area was not long. When I arrived, there was only two people and I was the second person extremely quick. I had a great nurse name, Cass. She was very awesome And when she administered my IV, it didn’t hurt at all like she’s very awesome at administering IV. Zayeo Was the ER technician? He was very helpful anytime that I needed his help he was it. My Doctor was Doctor Doliner. I recommend you all to see ask to be seen buy him if he’s one of the doctors! When I tell y’all, I cannot express how much this doctor and his team was very caring understanding and sensitive to my condition.They were very quick at administering my pain medication in a very timely manner. I would recommend them any day over the regular emergency room!!!!!

Doctor Edwards was great. He was so imformative and helpful. Nurses Young and Cass communicated everything they was going on and answered any questions that I had. Manny was very helpful with the EKG and helped me stay calm and Taylor was so nice. Ethan is so funny and helped me stay calm while I got my blood drawn. He didn’t sugar coat anything which I love because I would rather know what was happening rather than sparing my feelings. Great experience overall

These guys were an exceptional crew tonight I did get bit by a dog, and I thought washing it with bleach would be enough, but I was in and out of here within an hour with a new tetanus shot and anabiotic’s and they made it very easy for me to pay as well I think you guys. Doctor Jones, and the whole staff here was excellent. They work quickly and effectively. I had some scary chest pain while training for a half marathon and I was seen promptly, got a referral for a cardiologist, and able to manage my expectations accordingly.

Had a great time, they treated me so well. Very accepting for someone who is transgender. The nurses Cass and Lena are so welcoming and were just always checking on me if I needed anything. Dr. bochey was really helpful and just was a cool doctor that explained everything and even drew me a picture of what my injury looked like right now because it was on my face. I got 5 stitches and I didn’t even feel a thing. I’m just really grateful for the staff here.

I came in for an allergic reaction on my arm. The nurse, admissions rep, and doctor were all super helpful and friendly. I was in and out pretty quickly despite having issues with my insurance.

After slicing a good portion of my thumb off this morning, I had to go to the Austin Emergency Center. The entire team was kind, efficient and helpful. In particular, Dr. Demehri, Nurse Drew and Lillie were all kind and helpful in what could have been a painful and scary moment. I didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes to get seen, and the care was as pain-free and efficient as could be safely done. Really appreciate them helping me out. One big, bandaged thumbs up from me. :)

I recently visited Austin Emergency Center, and I had a positive experience. The staff was super nice and helpful. The facility was clean, well-equipped, and the medical team was able to get me in and out quickly. Overall, 10 out of 10.

Went in for a nasty fall that i took at work. this place got me in quick and easy! There was no wait, and the front desk staff(Taylor & Katherine) was very kind. Dr.Rollo was very straight to the point and pleasant. Maria/Ann were great as well! Made me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety. Manny was my radiology tech and he was very gentle with my wrist - thank GOD. i was incredibly painful. I’ve been here twice before for myself and have taken my partner a few times. You’re in good hand here. Thank you all for what yall do! ✨

Really convenient place to come to. Not a long wait. I thought I had blood clot but the doctors gave me consultation and didn’t charge because I didn’t get any blood work done or anything. Dr. Dolino & the nurse Cass really helped me understand what was wrong with my leg and want to do to help. The admission rep Clarriisa was really cool & welcoming. Overall good place to come to if you don’t want to deal with the stress of going to the hospital.

I did not the way they treated me. It was 11 PM when I entered there.The lady who was the receptionist told me it would take an hour to get in, because there were many patients before me. I told her, my wife and my 2-year old son were inside the car waiting for me. But she did not believe me until they came into the waiting room and she saw them. Then, she took me in immediately. When I went in, there was only one patient inside and all staff were free and available.Then, the doctor visited me, and sent the prescription to a 24-hour pharmacy. It was 20 minutes drive. When I got there, the pharmacy was closed. The pharmacy was not 24-hour. I called the doctor and asked him to change the pharmacy to another 24-hour pharmacy OR another pharmacy close to where I live. But the doctor say, when the prescription is sent, it is done and we are unable to change. This is the first time, I have heard something stupid like that. All doctors, urgent cares, hospitals are able to change the pharmacy except Dr. John.Also, they did not mention anything about my bill before the visit and charged me $100 for a 5-min visit. They should have been clear about the payment before the visit and any other medical services.I was not satisfied with their service and wont recommend this place.

I was in a bad car accident tonight and came here to get checked out. Taylor got me checked in quickly and I think I waited maybe 5 min. Z and Ashley took my vitals and made me feel very comfortable. There was a lot of adrenaline pumping so I was a little delulu but they took really good care of me. Dr Patterson and Beth checked me out and acted very quick and professional. i was in and out- overall great experience considering the circumstance. if i could give them 5 hearts i would.

I had a very pleasant experience at Austin Emergency Center. They were able to see me immediately, addressed all concerns, and the doctors and nurses displayed a high level of excellence.

Came in for some (longer) COVID symptoms and glad I came here. The staff were top-notch, friendly, and knowledgeable; checkin was easy; the facility was very clean; and test results were fast.Michelle and Clarissa were great at the front desk, Ethan was amazing and efficient (especially with blood draw), Kasey (radiology and EKG) had great bedside manner, and both the RN Selena and Dr Portillo were absolute class acts. Definitely coming back here I need an ER.

Came into this emergency center with severe pain from kidney stones. All the staff were super friendly and personable especially Cass! everyone made me feel very welcome and assisted with managing the pain very quickly. I would definitely use their services again in the future if I ever had to!

Everyone here took great care of me and exceeded my expectations except the medical sonographer. She seemed upset to be there and never even spoke a word to me. I expressed pain during the procedure and she just didn’t care or even said anything. I would be back there if needed because everyone else was wonderful.

I’m glad I left CareNow. The lady at the front desk had a bad attitude and their walls were in disrepair. I couldn’t imagine what the Dr must have been like. AES is different. Dr Asundi, Cass, Dal, and Clarisse were pleasant from the beginning and in addition to a little humor and intellectual conversation I received top notch service. I won’t go anywhere else the next time I stab myself with a butter knife.

If I could give 10- I would. I came in with shortness of breath and they treated me immediately and I got a diagnosis in about 20 mins. I was told I had to stay over night because it was pneumonia so I settled in to their overnight room. I was absolutely well taken care of and the staff is amazing. Shoutout to my nurse Ashley for taking such close care of me and to all the other staff I can’t thank you enough. Even though i have a few days of healing left. Today I went to the Austin Emergency Center clinic in Riverside for health reasons, the clinic and its medical team have treated me magnificently. Despite feeling bad, Doctor, Velez, the nurse Deew and the Radiologist have made me feel calm and supported during this visit, but lets not forget Michelle from Admissions, excellent support so that my documents and medical information are up to date. I came in on Friday night with such incredible pain. I wish I could remember everyone’s name because each and every staff member was attentive, quick and amazing. Whoever the gentlemen in the black scuba was did such a great and gentle job taking my vitals, I barely felt my blood being drawn and the IV being set up. Dr. Herold was very sympathetic and heard my concerns. As a woman going through painful issues, normally I do not feel heard and I feel as if I’m being half listened to. I truly felt that Dr Herold was listening and was concerned and knew how to take care of me. I felt so taken care of and while this was a scary process, I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You have a wonderful staff that deserve so much!!!

Went for urgent care for abdominal pain. I received a urinalysis, CT and ultrasound. Nothing was found wrong, despite being in severe pain. I finally got a bill over a year later. My copay was $300. The total amount paid through insurance was over $14,000.Again, no actual treatment was provided. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. If I were uninsured it would be $14,000. Avoid this place.

I saw Dr. Reyes who was hands down the friendliest doctor I’ve been to, he was super helpful and informative. His nurses Ashley and Maria were also such a pleasure to work with. There was no wait time and was in and out in under and hour.

I went to the ER late at night with my sister and the staff was very kind. I saw doctor Tan and she was very throughly and made sure my concerns were addressed.The admissions rep. Taylor was very kind and swift with getting us checked in. The nurse Ashley, the er tech Ethan, and the radiology tech Beth all aided in making sure my experince was comfortable and quick. Excellent experience. I have been here twice and never had to wait more than 10minutes. The facility is clean and the staff are all highly-skilled and friendly. I was very impressed with the team work. Dr. McCorcle was so knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and talked me through the plan. I was here for 7 hours today, this hospital runs so smoothly. Unfortunately my experience with this facility was less than impressive pretty much starting with the all the staff I encountered as well as the physician. Ive worked in healthcare for 7 years and the way in which this facility was ran at least this night was not professional and or welcoming. For some reason I was roomed by a rad technician, not a medical assistant and or nurse. After being roomed by the rad tech she proceeded to take my vitals and then went over my medication. When I went to review my dosages she cut me off saying I dont need to know those...? Im sorry what? She also did not ask if I had any allergies NOR did the physician upon his assessment. He tried to give me a pain medication that had Tylenol in it and if he had known my allergies he would have never even suggested giving me that medication because I have a reaction to it. While being taken back to the room I was having trouble walking because I was in a lot of pain so I was slow and Doctor Mercado walked ahead of me to the room, stopped at the room and then with his hands made the gesture of speeding it up for me to get into the room. I just thought to myself how rude is that you can clearly see Im having trouble walking and Im in pain. Lastly I was self pay and knowing I was going to a stand alone ER I knew it would be expensive but not almost $700 for them to run a strep test, take a urine sample and be given pain meds and I was only in there for an hour... The physician had billed me as a level II out of a level V for a payment. For those unfamiliar a bill for a level I is a trauma unit in the hospital... All to say I was told I had a bad viral infection and really just needed my body to fight it off. This is the exact problem with our healthcare system. I am a bit disgusted with my treatment and the out of pocket cost that was due at the time of the service or they would not see continue to treat me. In my personal review of this ER I would not go there again or suggest someone to receive their services.

The staff here is incredible. They made me feel really taken care of and helped me through a very tough ordeal. Dr. De Waal, Cass, Jonathan, Clarissa, and Zayeo were all so great. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Absolutely hands down the best experience Ive had in a medical facility. Everyone was kind, warm and on it. No wait time... was seen immediately. X-Ray, EKG, labs were conducted immediately and results provided quickly. I would highly recommend to anyone. I left feeling safe and understanding what was happening with me.

Dr. Rice, Nurse Drew, radiology tech Nancy, and admissions Rep Michelle were so incredibly warm and helpful when my partner and I came in for their shoulder dislocation. They got us in super fast and tried to make my partner as comfortable as possible. Checked myself in for chest pains. Was in a room within 4 minutes from arrival. Nurse hit a vein for an IV on the fist attempt! It was determined that it was something other than prelude to cardiac arrest, and I was checked out within 2.5 hours! No hospital visit is great, but things have never gone so well, so expeditiously and so prompt as this one did! Thank you AMC!!!

I was a very sick and I came to Austin Emergency and the MD listened to my concerns and was on Point figured out the problem very quickly. To confirm I had CT scan Jonathan help guide me it was very quick easy. I was in town for a wedding and needed medical attention. I came to Riverside Austin Emergency Center. There was no wait and I was taken to a room upon completing intake information. RN Young came in immediately and was able to provide assistance along with Doctor Czarnik. He was very thoughtful and attentive to all my needs during my time here. He provided thorough discharge instructions and restaurant recommendations. This is the place to be if you need emergency medical assistance.

I have been treated here for asthma attacks several times now. The waiting room is never crowded, I’m seen very quickly and it’s clean and calm. I went in to this ER Sunday afternoon, I’d been having chest pains and shortness of breath for several days so I was not in the best mood. I walked in, filled out paperwork and was in a room within 10 minutes which is amazing for a full service ER. I was greeted very nicely by Nancy, Drew, and Dr. Harold. Once Z and Lena started running labs and listening to my concerns they were very comforting and friendly. They were descriptive in telling me everything they were doing and why which settled my nerves a bit. Overall, they kept me comfortable, kept checking in to see if I needed anything while I was waiting and answered all of my questions. Everyone was great but Drew and Nancy kept us laughing and made our time there so much better. Thank you to all of you for your care! Keep up the great work.

Super thorough, helpful and courteous! Thanks to nurse Drew, Dr Portillo and ultrasound tech Nancy, and another nurse whose name I can’t remember (so sorry! She wore glasses and has a kid in college?) for the care. Michelle in admissions was also great! They really turned my gallbladder episode around 180 degrees. Diagnosed me quick and got me out of pain. Thanks again

As silly as this sounds, I went to this ER in 2019 because my cat, who I had just adopted and was fully vaccinated, gave me a light scratch at the tip of my finger and an abscess was beginning to form. I was in my early 20s and this was the only medical provider open at 6 am before I had to go to work.The doctor did not give me informed consent that the paper I was signing would alert authorities for “potential rabies exposure.” I was shocked and furious when APD began calling me and showing up to my home demanding to know what had happened and to see my cat. I wish someone had told me that texas requires medical providers to report animal bites. According to Sec. 826.041. REPORTS OF RABIES. “A person who knows of an animal bite or scratch to an individual that the person could reasonably foresee as capable of transmitting rabies, or who knows of an animal that the person suspects is rabid, shall report the incident or animal to the local rabies control authority of the county or municipality in which the person lives, in which the animal is located, or in which the exposure occurs.”I told the doctor THAT THIS WAS MY CAT AND THEY WERE FULLY VACCINATED.Additionally, I was billed $500, which I paid upon leaving my visit, yet I kept receiving several letters from this ER demanding more money for at least six months.The trauma I experienced from that visit and it’s aftermath was immense.

On the phone and upon arrival, the receptionists were so patient, professional and kind. The nurse and tech were incredibly helpful and easy going. Dr. DeWaal was super mindful in his approach to my care and really took the time to listen to my concerns as a first time pregnant lady. Would absolutely return and highly recommend.

The front desk staff is lovely.The ER doc spoke to me like a child (I have a medical background). I went in for dizziness/vertigo and I had to ask them to look into my ears to see if there’s fluid. I had to ask for an MRI script. The doc kept telling me how lucky I was because at his other ER, I’d have a 6 hour wait. Rather than hearing this repeatedly, I would prefer they do a thorough examination.Also, because it’s not at a hospital, they are limited in what they can do. No MRIs on site. They should change their name to urgent care.When leaving, they gave me the wrong papers to schedule my MRI. My visit became more stressful rather than relieving any stress.

What an incredible experience. The treatment was wonderful and the entire staff was kind and caring. I highly recommend Riverside Austin Emergency Center if you want best in class treatment.

The staff here was very friendly, quick, and efficient! Facilities are very clean and it was as smooth as could be when you are in an emergency care situation. Rhonda (doc), Young (nurse), Tammy (radio tech), and Emily are wonderful humans and made feel at ease throughout.

The staff were extremely helpful and nice during my time there (Dr. De Waal, Nurse Maria, Manny, Julie and Zayed). They went above and beyond in helping treat my illness would recommend this ER to anyone who is in need 10/10.

I checked into this ER after noticing swelling in both of my legs. The whole process was smooth, efficient and professional. Dr. Jones and the entire ER team took great care of me and answered all my questions. I would absolutely return here for other emergency concerns!

The staff at Austin ER riverside was extremely helpful after my car accident. They kept me informed with every step of the way. And were sympathetic to my situation. Very caring!

Especially as a woman i have anxiety around going to doctors. I went in due to sudden swelling on my leg, so I was worried about a blood clot. These people really listened to me and took my concerns very seriously. I got in very quickly, they got me an emergency ultrasound, and explained payment options to me very clearly to make sure I wasn’t surprised by a huge bill. (i dont have insurance) I have severe anxiety and the entire environment helped so much to mitigate it. Exam rooms are clean and big, the cots are even nice to lay on. they kept me informed and comfortable during the whole process with expected wait time so I wasn’t left wondering.They were very caring and still efficient without anything feeling rushed. The whole duration of my visit was about 2.5hrs which is crazy to me. I walked in fully prepared for a 4 hour wait time alone.Thank you Austin Emergency Center! I wish i could find a GP as good as yall!

Was a good experience they got me fast and helped me as soon as I walked in. Really nice doctors and nurses. Helped me out greatly!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!I have visited this emergency room twice in the same weekend for two different reasons. I must say from the front office, to the nurses and the Dr. himself were extremely kind and helpful! I never waited more than 10minutes in the waiting room. They were quick and efficient and took every problem very serious! They also had great personalities and brought joy in the emergency room, so grateful!

It was a bummer I had to come here on Christmas Eve, but I bet it was a bummer they had to work on Christmas Eve, too! My kiddo tested positive for strep. It was very surprising!! We were seen quickly and everyone was very kind.

I visited on Saturday and they were amazing Clarisse, Cass, Dr.Darhower and dal were amazing they listened to my concerns and addressed them quickly!

This place is great! My fiance cut his thumb and needed stitches and they got him fixed right up. Thanks so much to Dr Rice and the rest of the staff!!

Wow...what a great experience! Drew our nurse was awesome. Very pleasant and made my daughter and I feel comfortable. We didnt have to wait long at all. Dr. Rodriguez was very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. All around great experience! We would recommend this facility to anyone that wants to have a smooth, good and swift experience.

We had a great experience. My husband came in for a possible concussion and the wait was not too long and the service was friendly and the doctors were very capable.

Everyone was very helpful. We had very timely service I was expecting quite long waits but they were able to get everything done pretty quickly and they were all so kind to me.

The best ED in Austin! Kind workers with superior medical knowledge. If my wife is experiencing declining health, I take her to this ED. Oh, I am also a nurse! You are in good hands here... I forgot, because my wife is a teacher with AISD, the co-pays is waived!!

Best medical experience I’ve ever had. Had to come here as someone from out of state on a work trip, and they took such good care of me.

I have to say, I think this was the best ER experience I’ve ever had! I thought I’d have to spend the whole night in the EE but I was in and out in about an hour! I had to get my hand stitched after an accidental kitchen accident while preparing dinner and I was amazed how efficiently and carefully my injury was cared for. Each of the care providers were very kind and made what I thought would be a horrible evening so very pleasant. I am so very thankful that I came to Austin ER! Thanks to all the staff and providers that saw me there!

This ER is unlike any other medical facility experience I’ve ever had, hands down. They call you back SO quickly from the waiting room, they’re thorough with explaining everything, and quick about getting you back for testing/scans/xrays. But the most impressive factor of this ER is their staff! I unfortunately have had to visit here twice within a month and both times I’ve gone in, the staff is the kindest, most comforting, most personable, medical staff I’ve ever met. And when you’re in pain and fearful for your health, the type of care that’s provided here means everything. Thank you to your entire staff for being there and being kind when I needed it the most.

Liz was very kind and thorough. She ensured I had use of a wheelchair when she noticed I was in pain walking. Dr. Robson listened to all my concerns and responded to all my questions. Also, Matt and Young were very friendly and were willing to follow my comfort levels.

As soon as I walked in, Michelle greeted me so warmly and made me feel like I was going to be taken care of immediately. I filled out the paperwork and was seen very soon after by Dr. Rice. He was knowledgeable and thorough with the questions he asked and knew immediately what was wrong with my throat as soon as he looked. Drew was also really awesome, he was nice and personable and made me feel at ease about the next days recovering. I will definitely come back here in case of any emergency in the future.

Super great facility, the nurse Cass and doctor Doliner were very understanding and very thorough to make sure I treat everything and not just one part of my sinus infection, and the check in staff specifically Clarisse are very efficient and friendly!

I wasnt feeling good and needed to get in to see my doctor ASAP but the next appointment available would not be for another month. I had seen this emergency center many a times because the Starbucks I frequent is literally steps from the building. I decided to give it a try. I walked in filled out some paperwork and was called in to see the doctor immediately. I dont think I waited more than 5 minutes . The doctor was thorough, asked questions,, and allowed me to answer. He listened and didnt interrupt. He was great but I have to say that the stars of this place are the nurses, phlebotomists, and X-ray techs. Each and every one of them catered to my needs and made sure I was good every step of the way. Im writing this as I wait for test results. Im on an IV and Ive had a CT SCAN. ALL IN LESS THAN 45 minutes!! So far I highly recommend this place.

Doctor Rizvi help me out a great deal when my puppy bit my face requiring stitches. She calmed my anxiety first before the procedure and listened to me when I felt pain. Did not take more than a few hours to get in and out. Also the facility smells great and is super clean.

I came in with a dislocated shoulder and was fixed within 30 min. The wait time was less than 10 minutes. I was seen by Dr. Farr very quickly. The nurses and Dr. Farr were kind and very sensitive to what I was dealing with. I highly recommend this Emergency room for any medical emergencies. You wont be just another number here. The medical staff actually care. Thank you again!

Being from out of town, I was nervous to use Austin Emergency Center. Let me start by saying, that I had never felt worse, but the experience couldn’t have gone better. Once I signed in, I was in my own room within minutes. My previous experience took hours. After the two tests were negative, they took chest X-rays, and told me the issue within minutes. Their findings were confirmed by an off sight radiologist, minutes later. Since the pharmacies were closed, they provided the first dose and sent me on my way. Austin Emergency Center, heaped we well enough, they I could fly home 36 hour later!
