Relocating from a city where my status is judged and frowned upon due to lack of Empathy and education towards HIV going to receive care has always been uneasy.This clinic and highly trained staff of professionals made a difference in my personal day to day, and is allowing me to grow stronger, and show up better than the day before to further assist my healing journey when it comes to my mind, soul, and body.Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you for showing up daily and doing more than just a job. Together we can all beat the stigma against HIV, and God willing find the cure to those living with the virus and offer help towards a healthier & long-lasting lifestyle we all deserve.

I had an exceptional experience with Leticia Perez, PA at Kind Clinic. She provided outstanding care, never rushed through appointments, and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. Her dedication and attentiveness made a significant difference in my treatment, and I am grateful for her professionalism and compassion. Everyone in the clinic makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to kind clinic for a couple years and I love their services and staff. Things definitely changed as they have gotten more popular.Logistically, this place can be hit or miss, I’ve had my appointments get cancelled the day before. I’ve been left waiting days to get treatment even after saying I’ve developed symptoms to a std/sti exposure.When I talked to someone about gender affirming care and medically transitioning, I was told it would be a long wait list, months. I said that’d be fine, I never got a call back.Despite these issues, they’re still an amazing clinic and I’ll always recommend them to people who need one. Just sharing based on my experience.

Been going here for about 9 months for T and the staff is absolutely nice, and amazing. My doctor was Suzy is attentive, caring, and whos not afraid to ask you questions on what you want; she also stays up to date on FDA regulations and will be transparent about the process if shes not comfortable administrating something.

I love going to this clinic! The staff is always super sweet and informative. And the decor is very colorful and inviting. It’s always such a pleasant experience every time I visit! Highly recommend!

Pretty disappointed. was going to restart my care here after going to another provider & was told I’d have to be registered as a new patient & wait in a 4-month line, despite the fact that I’ve already been a patient in the past. this hinders my ability to get gender affirming care, so will go to another provider.why keep adding more locations & more services when you can’t even get your waitlists down to a reasonable place…

Excellent service and very accepting.From the start I was welcomed by a very friendly front staffer then taken 10 min early (very impressed). The gentleman that took my blood was not only caring but very friendly and also engaging with conversation. When speaking to the nurse/advocate she was AMAZING!!!! I felt so comfortable that I could ask her anything. Thank you to the whole team at the Kind Clinic.

Everyone is soooo nice here! No judgement is an understatement. Everyone is excited about their jobs and they seem to like each other as much as they like providing excellent care. Zero bad vibes and was in and out in a super reasonable amount of time. 10/10 would recommend!

Pushing unnecessary pharmaceuticals/vaccines etc. I walked out. Uneducated around health and bodily autonomy.

Just left my first appointment here. Jay was my nurse and made me feel so awesome and comfortable the minute I walked in. The doctor was knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking questions. I honestly wish they had PCPs at this clinician and it would be my one stop go to for everything. I’m so so so grateful to have a place like this in Austin to help our LGBTQ+ community out. I love the Kind Clinic.

I initially started going here about 2 or 3 years ago for a random check-up. I’ve never been able to stop going. The staff is beyond amazing and the organization offers accessible testing and treatment for any persons regardless of health insurance coverage or lack of it. I was able to start Prep free of charge and they care to ensure you are doing well in all ways possible! I’ve never felt more cared for in respects to health than I do when I go into Kind Clinic. If you’re looking for a safe place to feel cared for, loved, and to get the help you need; this is the place to go!

This was my first time at the clinic, and I had a great experience! Jay was super knowledgeable and drew my blood without a single problem (I have small veins that no one can ever stick!)I will definitely be back :)

I had a 100/10 experience at Kind clinic, the staff was beyond amazing. Michael Cheng, NP, Mario, and Jay were such a delight to have spoken to. The services provided were also easy to navigate and everyone was beyond helpful!

Today was my first time at a Kind Clinic. Booking the appointment was easy. The staff were all friendly and professional. The building was clean and inviting. I didn’t have to wait past my appointment time. I was pleased and would visit again if needed.

I feel like I cant put into proper words how amazing Kind Clinic is. Even throughout 2020, they pushed through and served their clients, and did so phenomenally. I love seeing Steven, as he is attentive to my needs or concerns, and even my rambling, while also keeping to the point. Ryan is consistently an extremely responsive and and helpful advocate. Even if they dont know the answer to something, they will do their best to find out and get back to you. The resources that Kind Clinic provides access to or information about, beyond the basic health services they themselves provide, is also quite valuable. The lab guys are pretty fun, too. I always have a great experience with staff at Kind. All in all, I dont know if there exists a better clinic that offers what Kind offers. Thanks for all that you guys do.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but my experience was so great I felt like I had to. First time ever having to get tested and I want to give a shoutout to JAY! Jay was amazing, sincere, and so accommodating. Made me feel so comfortable, let me ask all my questions without making me feel dumb, and was hilarious too. The GOAT.

I’ve had 2 experiences with them, they’re extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable in awkward situations in both situations I spoke to the medical assistant both really friendly and we were just talking about life. They make sure to grab all the tests and medication you need without hesitation, if you have any questions they make sure it’s all answered before you leave. It’s a judgement free zone, they’re non for profit and deserve to be funded for their amazing services

Friendly and caring staff at all points of contact during my visit. It is wonderful to feel safe and welcome at a health clinic. It is even more important to have trans-knowledgeable and trans-affirming healthcare professionals, which is what I gladly found.

The best gender affirming care in Texas! Very amazing and helpful staff! The kind Clinic doctors are the only doctors that feel like they actually care for me and have time to listen to me. Im never rushed and and most importantly these doctors make me feel valid as a transman!

Kind Clinic Austin - South is an exceptional community resource for health. CNS Suzy is clear and nonjudgmental in her consultations and the front office staff are friendly and discreet. If youre lucky enough to get intake nurse Dani, then your arms and veins will thank you. No joke: I did not feel A THING when she drew blood from my arm; I would have denied it happened if I hadnt seen it. Dani, youre the best!

Hands down, all forms of health should be this cool. Instead of stale and intimidating, the office is fun and inspirational. Most importantly, however; is the kindness and warmth of the staff. Everyone is on board and dedicated to making sure you’re the in the best care so you can be the best you. To quote Carly Simon, “Makes me feel sad for the rest…”

Always treated with dignity and kindness by the staff and Dr. Wright. They run a very professional organization, but also remember that were all human beings and as such, we appreciate being treated with sincere friendliness and genuine warmth.. This is what sets them apart from and above other clinics.

Ive been a patient at this clinic for nearly 2 years, and each time I speak to someone, they have the kindest and upmost respect for their patients and try to make everything go as smoothly as possible. I have to see them via tele/vid appointments as I live out of town from them, but I would recommend everyone to this clinic if they are part of the LGBTQ+ community. I love the Kind Clinic!!!

I never got his name because of how nervous I was but I wanted to shout out the person who did my blood draw today at 9am, he was unbelievably kind and welcoming and helpful in offering things to ease my (really bad) needle anxiety and lightheadedness and the draw itself was the least painful blood draw I’ve ever received :) Thank you all so much!

Theres a person in the front desk that has an attitude every time and is very catty. The reason why I left this clinic. Never thought Id let something as far as a negative person affect my health care and alter my well-being. Very disappointing.

Fantastically useful clinic for LGBTQ+ folks- They have charity programs for people who are unable to pay due to hardship, which is a massive lifechanger these days! Make sure you sign up early though- wait lists are long, especially for gender care.

I love that there is a new location in South Austin. The facility is huge, well kept, and inviting. I appreciate the dedication to a welcoming environment and positive atmosphere. Also, they provide top notch services and always feel well taken care of. Thank y’all!

This clinic does not accept drop-in testing - only the North Austin location does, which is on the polar opposite side of the city from me. Nonetheless, they still provide our community with an essential service
