Chase Brexton Health Care - Mt. Vernon Center

I love it here! They always call me quickly and take care of whatever I need, even referrals. Doctors are super nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend it to anyone for all sorts of medical needs. Its a one-stop shop where you can even get bloodwork done, and they have their own pharmacy.

As someone whos been a patient at Chase for 5 years now, it makes me so upset to see such a sharp decline in the quality of care over the last few years. I started care here when I was a minor, and my pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Pine was so lovely. She truly has the care and grace I wish so many other drs had. I have never had an issue with her and I recommend her to all that fall under her range of care. After I aged out of her care, thats when I noticed a decline in the quality at Chase.A huge problem with CB is the patient portal. To be curt - its slow as hell. To get to any page in there, it feels like I am using a website two decades ago. Theyve changed the mobile app to where you cannot even message your provider through it anymore; I have to open it up in my mobile browser if I want to do that. And you cant even make appointments online, despite it having the page to do so. You have to call in, which can take about an hour on average to even get a human response. Even with the messaging system, I have had major problems where my newer providers at Chase will entirely ghost my messages for weeks on end. This is especially harrowing considering those messages more often than not are about the state of my medications that I need.I have more grievances with this organization due to all of this, but its been so tiring when all I want is just to have medical care. Its really disheartening when Chase Brexton says it strives to have a good quality of care but has failed for the last few years to provide it. Unless you are coming to see Dr. Pine, I strongly recommend to never go to any Chase Brexton location for your care.

I have been a client at CB since 2007. Most of the staff are excellent employees. Kudos to the hiring dept. Dr.Christin Green is an excellent primary care doctor. Dr Feinstein now at the Security location is an excellent dentist, to include the staff there. I love CB Health Care.

Very kind energy and an amazing listener. She really makes you feel heard and explains any answers to questions or medical information in a way that isnt difficult at all to understand. A wonderful woman to work with and have as a Healthcare provider.

Chase Brexton does a lot for the Baltimore community with limited resources, and some of their providers are truly exceptional. Jess Friedman and Teresa Vlahovich at the Mount Vernon office are both wonderful medical professionals who treat their patients with great care, attention, and genuine kindness - if you can actually get someone to take your call and schedule you an appointment.You cannot schedule an appointment with anyone other than your PCP using the online portal, which you dont get access to until after you physically visit the office. The phone lines are constantly busy because of this; I usually have to wait on hold for 20-30 minutes to speak to someone. The scheduling staff are always rude, and you will have to wait at least 3-4 months after calling to get an appointment.I had to deduct one more star for their dental practice, which is awful. It takes two, separately scheduled appointments to actually get your teeth cleaned - the dentist will only give you a 5-minute exam on the first appointment, and the hygienist gives you your cleaning on the second. Naturally, each appointment has a separate co-pay and you often have to wait months in between. If you have absolutely no other options and dont have any time--sensitive health issues, Chase Brexton will do its best, but otherwise I wouldnt recommend.

I think this is by far the best health care facility Ive been to in years. Ive been here since 2016. The Dental department has terrible front desk folks, the dentist may be overworked but there sorta pleasant, but its a overall bad experience. EVERY other department at Chase Brexton is pretty great. Behavioral health staff and program is 10 out of 10. Amazingly helpful, concerned, and so beneficial to my recovery.

Dr. Green was informative, polite and is a great active listener. She addressed every question and concern I had, with grace and patience. 10/10 am definitely going back again.Update: 8/13/24Yesterday I was feeling off for various reasons, health, circumstance and grief. So much so I put the wrong date on my papers! I’ve never really had a doctor with the amount of compassion and empathy Dr. Green had for me. And she’s thoroughly knowledgeable and efficient at helping find solutions and treatment options that work best for the patient. Thank you so much Dr. Green. 😊

Dr.Dunn has amazing bedside manner and I always feel heard. Definitely grateful for all that she and the entire staff does for me at Chase brexton. I honestly dont know where I would be without their support and professionalism.

Felt comfortable speaking to her and she made sure I had what I needed when I left the clinic… follow-up appts medications and information about my questions I had. Glad I chose to return here.

Generally I’m an easy person to please when it comes to services. Like a lot of people I’ve dealt with some problems here and there with my healthcare but, I have never had more problems with a doctor’s office then with Chase. When I first started my medical journey with them a year ago, I received a PA as my provider. I’m totally fine with that. Only the PA was awful. I had to fight with her about my medications (which she would consistently fill wrong and she even accused me of abusing once (it was estrogen…) She expected me to spend 4 hours of my day (and take PTO) to come in whenever she wanted me for an appointment because she got confused and had trouble with their portal. And after so many issues with her, I felt I had to speak to the medical director. He seemed sympathetic and listened to my frustrated and traumatized ramblings about the “care” I was receiving. He said he would investigate but, I’m not certain that ever happened. Luckily I transferred my care to better physicians. Getting to him was not easy though. It has always been difficult for me to get a hold anybody here. Assuming I even could (meaning the line didn’t disconnect while waiting or I didn’t reach somebody who immediately hung up the call they just picked up without a word). The customer service here is usually bad too. Not always but I’d say 8/10 times. They are often rude, impatient, and interrupt you; seldom addressing your actual needs. And if you leave a message for a supervisor, you may get a call back but they will often deliberately try to dodge speaking to you directly on the phone. It’s happened to me 2-3 times. Not too long ago, I had an issue where I had changed my name and called Chase to correct a lab order so I could get my blood drawn. I am on a medication that carries a health risk so getting checked regularly is very important. I had to go back to Quest 4 separate times because they kept messing up the order. The frustration at this point had brought me to tears a few times and I’d lost so much time and sanity. Hours on the phone, hours in the offices, hours at other providers and partners and rarely getting what I need. But my most recent issue has me so frustrated I debated looking into how to file some kind of formal complaint or maybe calling the medical director again. I keep asking for a specific kind of syringe/barrel needed for me to administer one of my medications. It is an intramuscular injection and requires monitored levels. However, a few weeks ago, out of nowhere, I started getting the wrong barrels. Ones I wasn’t trained how to use and didn’t know how to read. I got the wrong ones 3 times in a row, even while being extremely specific about my needs. The care I’ve received over this year has been some of the worst I’ve ever gotten (Mostly in defiance of Chase Brexton’s mission statement of quality care that addresses inequity). I called again today to address it and was bounced around until, In essence, I was told these slip ups happen and can happen easily again because of how their pharmacy system works (which only made me want to speak to the director more because how are you going to have a system that gives somebody a syringe they’ve never used, never been trained on, and doesn’t measure their medication properly, that they can’t read). I certainly hope whatever solution was put in place for this works and is one of the last troubles I have with Chase. I’m not holding my breath though. I sincerely wish I wasn’t stuck going here but, they are the only place I can afford that provides the specialty I need. With effort, I eventually get what I need but, healthcare shouldn’t be like this. So if you can go somewhere else, I strongly encourage it. While intentions are good, Chase often falls extremely short. The only saving graces it feels like Chase has is their sliding scale model, the very rare good samaritan, and the occasional good provider. Other than that, it has been the stuff of nightmares. I sincerely hope other people don’t have the same traumatic experience I have. I hope they change my mind.

I had the worst healthcare experience with Chase Brexton. After moving to Baltimore, I chose Chase Brexton due to its proximity to our home and scheduled annual checkups for my husband, my 2-year-old son, and myself. All three experiences were terribly bad.Starting with my experience: I clearly made an appointment for an annual checkup with Dr. Orlando Sola. After the visit, I was billed for a different type of appointment, resulting in a $100 copay instead of $0. My CareFirst BCBS insurance assistant informed me that Dr. Sola had coded the appointment as a high-risk visit. Despite three attempts by CareFirst to resolve the issue with the billing department and the manager, Chase Brexton’s only response was that they would follow up, but nothing was resolved. I even tried to discuss the matter with Dr. Sola, who gave a very strange explanation that the first checkup is always an intake visit, and a separate appointment is needed for an annual checkup. The time and energy I spent trying to fix this issue without any result was incredibly frustrating, teaching me that you cannot even trust your doctor anymore.My son’s checkup with Dr. Arias Cesar was equally disappointing. After waiting an hour to see the doctor, we left the office. An hour later, Dr. Cesar called us back, saying he forgot to do the physical exam. We had to return the next day to complete the visit.Finally, my husband’s visit was another disappointment. After waiting for an hour, he asked how much longer he would have to wait. The nurse informed him that there were still two patients ahead of him. He had to leave without seeing the doctor because he needed to return to work. Fortunately, he went to the University of Maryland for his checkup, where he had a smooth experience without any copay or hassle. I wish I had done the same.These are the exact events that happened to us at Chase Brexton, and I wanted to share my experience to prevent others from wasting their time and energy at this center.

I always look forward to seeing my primary care doctor. I feel very comfortable and have no difficulties talking to him about anything that I may be feeling or any concerns that I may have. I wouldn’t want any other doctor!

Only come here if you want your appt to be continually canceled. My dental appts have been canceled a day or so before since October. I finally got an appt that wasnt canceled, came and was told it was canceled 🙃 Im furious and in pain so please go anywhere else

I have been a CB patient since last autumn. I am impressed. My practitioner, Coppola, is very gentle and nice. She is attentive and takes her time with me. I like simply nice people. The other practitioner Leah, is also very much knowledgeable. Everytime I have reached out or someone contacts me the exchange is pleasant. Even the lab tech are pleasant. This says alot about their companys culture, to me. I have recommeded them to other friends and will do so. CB provides very modern medical care. I like how most things are done. The facility is always clean when I go.

Feud. At Chase brexton on Charles Street location. I went for my first visit to get a recliner that my insurance pays for and the person that saw said that she was going to put in a quest for new dentures though my insurance. I TOLD HER THE MY 5 YRS. IT NOT UP ONLY HAD THERE FOR 3YRS. OF COURSE MY INSURANCE denied the request I got a recliner for my top denture and nothing was done to my bottom she never even looked at itThis place has bill me $1500 for a recliner and trying to say Not do I own for that but the partcil that was never touched. So ever time I call no answer and when they do they add more lies. So Im filing a complaint and my insurance covers reliners so why Im being charged$ 1500

I have been using chase Braxton for dental work now for a few years , use to love them but not now. It already takes long enough to get an appointment (2-4months) then they call you to confirm your appointment durning NORMAL work hours when you can’t pick the telephone up or may miss the call. They immediately cancel your appointment if you don’t answer instead of just then sending a text or email for you to confirm and actually waiting a little while before canceling it. So I have missed 2 appointments now all because I WORK in a HIGH security clearance building and my personal phone has to stay in the car or be locked in a locker. I’m currently on the phone now on hold trying to make an appointment and this brings us to my second biggest issue !!! I been on the phone 45 mins and not a single person has picked the phone up. Just done with this place. I’ll pay the extra money for better service.

Dr Dhir is one of the greatest doctors I’ve ever had. Especially for regular medical as well as HIV he is so thorough. He thinks of things that I never thought of and make sure you’re good for the long haul. I told him that no matter where I moved I was going to take him with me and he had to move to the same state. Because I would forever like to be able to see him. He is the greatest!

I love my PCP & my kids PCP. The only problem is how hard it is to get in since it’s such a big practice. Also y’all got a pest problem that needs to be addressed

CRNP Coppola is the only practitioner I will see. Her care is thorough and she is very knowledgeable. Her team is responsive and you will not have to wait for results or quality care. She is worth the wait!

My medical office visit with my Primary Care doctor Dr. Christin Green on Monday July 29, 2024 was highly professional. She took more than enough time to answer all my questions related to my health issues specific. Dr. Green is caring and considerate. We both work together to determine the best treatments for my health issues. At times, I feel we challenge each other. The final result is we respect each other.

A very clean and spacious and amazing place that offered many medical services. Try he staff are professional and amazing. Its clean. The staff are very helpful. Its been a very informative and positive experience. I hope it will be the same way for you and your family.

I have been coming to chase brexton for yrs my pcp is Jessica Friedman everytime I come here the employees at the front desk are extremely rude with nasty attitudes like they don’t want to be bothered rolling the eyes this clinic always changes my PCP without my acknowledgment I dislike talking to new doctors who don’t know my medical history this is very frustrating I will be currently looking for another pcp elsewhere

Ive had previous good experiences with Chase Brexton overall but the negative interactions are really starting to outweigh the positive. My initial dental appointment was scheduled in November @ 3:00. I was not seen by the dentist until 5 p.m. who informed me that I was not getting a cleaning, its simply an evaluation, then they would schedule my cleaning. This was after waiting 2 months to get the initial appointment. So after waiting 2 hours I was looked at for 2 minutes and told to come back. My next appointment was scheduled for another 3 months in the future in February. When I arrived I was told there was an issue and I should have been called the day before but they were canceling the appointment and I could reschedule... In May. So Ive been waiting 5 months for a cleaning that now they need another 3 months before my appointment. I do not recommend the dental department at all.

Dr Dunn been my doctor for about 8 years and my anxiety is always clear after talking to her about help i need— shes very pleasant and easy to talk to, and you can tell she generally cares and will do anything to help! Shes provided alot of resources for me throughout the years of my journey and i wouldnt have got through some tough times without her :)

Chase Brexton health care at Mount Vernon is a place where if you know the phrase I got you they encompass this in every sense of the phrase. They help with everything from a sliding scale co pay and pharmacy sliding scale co pay, the doctors care, like ACTUALLY really really CARE! out of decades of treatment I have never came across such open minded non judgemental medical professionals, it feels as if my doctor is looking out for me like my own family would. Plus they have a food pantry, rental assistance they told me if you need furniture they could even help with that. The staff is loving and uplifting. Out of Id say a good 30 years of medical professionals and even working in the field for some of those years.. I have never seen such wonderful patient care. God bless them and I.xould not recommend themmore. Id gove a billion stars if i could.this is a diamond in the rough, dont pass it up.

Chase Brexton in Mount Vernon is more likely to be helpful than their Glen Burnie location when seeking out Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Ive been coming here for years and would probably refuse to go anywhere else if I had to. My PCP Dr. Dunn is a God send, she listens to Me and guides Me well in taking care of myself and my needs. If I have any issues with appointments or medications she sees to it that they are delt with in a timely manner.

This is my medical center and where lots of people around the area go for their health care, i know i need to start keeping my appointments bcuz I should be more thankful that I have such a good clean health clinic to attend 👍🏾

There is no number to call to make an appointment. Dont waste your time. Ive been coming here for 8 years and it keeps getting worse. No options on the phone tree work. Everyone you talk to on the phone seems angry that you exist. If youre a new patient you cant get through to anyone to set up your portal account so you cant even see a doctor.

Rebecca Coppola, MSN/MPH, CRNP is a phenomenal provider here, always listens to their patient needs and resolves them with a very strategic approach, setting up everyone for success in overall health. I have been seeing my PCP here for a few years now and have been extremely satisfied with the rapport established and follow-ups. No matter what I have needed and where I am, my provider has been swiftly responsive and always has looked out for me! Thank you for the excellent, very culturally competent care 😊

I bring many of my patients here and I’m truly impressed by their level of care. They’re very detailed and on point. Only thing I don’t like is that many of my patients love their doctors, but they seem to always have a new one every 4-6 months. My patients do feel some type of way because as soon as they feel comfortable with their provider, a new one is provided. Other than that, very clean and friendly staff. Still 5 stars because in every other aspect of health, excellent. Dr. Green is excellent!

Theres quite a bit of ableism here with disregard to traumatic events. I sometimes think they mean well but theyre lacking in finding supports for people living with mental health conditions to stay well. Also, there have been times when they just blatantly did not care. I really dont understand how they have the message that racism is a public health crisis when theres so many times when barely listen to me... I am a black person and their services mirror other places where I wasnt heard or had my concerns disregarded.

Dr. Green is the best. If only because she has dealt with me as a patient for almost 10 years. She is the one who got me started on my journey, and had been with me ever since. Shes very soft spoken, sweet, kind, caring, and compassionate. I could just go. On, and on. I wouldnt have come this far without her. 💙

I felt confident and comfortable immediately with Dr Green. As you well know, thats not always the case. She wasnt the regular doc I see at Chase Brexton, but I was very happy with her care.

Dr. Noar is my primary doctor, when I was pregnant I had Dr. Dana Rader throughout my entire pregnancy and now my babys pediatrician is Dr. Friedman. All 3 of them are excellent doctors. They are very knowledgeable and they take priority of the patients well-being. 5+ stars to this amazing doctors!!

I have observed a significant decline in the quality of service, particularly in handling medical records and appointment scheduling through my patient portal. Not only have my previous medical records vanished from the portal history, but there seems to be a noticeable delay and inconvenience in securing timely appointments with healthcare providers.The extended waiting times have become exceptionally painful, and I cannot help but feel a sense of neglect in the care that is supposed to be provided to patients. The overall impression is that the providers are merely fulfilling a routine check, rather than prioritizing the well-being of the patients.

I there were an option to do zero stars Id do it. Its been 14 days since my Dr. prescribed my meds. Ive called the pharmacy at least 6 times and every time I called theres a different story, last one blaming the insurance I immediately called the insurance and I was told nothing has been submitted from Chase Brexton and/or their pharmacy - very disappointed its like they dont care and they always say we will call you back. 14 days later Im still waiting for a call back and still have no medication.

I can not brag enough how my years of going to Chase Braxton have been the most wonderful health care. I left Hopkins due to very unipersonal. Whenever I have a problem they are quick to get it taken care of. “ I only dislike the phone system so I only email”

Dr Green has been my provider for close to 10 years. She is amazing and always very responsive, she listens to anything I want to share with her. She provides excellent and efficient care each and everytime. I appreciate her and all that she does.

Its always something with this place. The ghetto service is getting out of hand. Either the dentist will play in my mouth and keep having you come back doing a little at a time or will still not see you if you are only 12 minutes late. They act like its so much confusion after you wait 30 minutes in the waiting area just to go to the back get in the chair just to turn you away and wait more months for the next opening. You wait months for an appointment. There is never a normal return time. I want to like this place but they need better management.

I never have a problem getting an appointment, Dr. Green makes sure that I get all of the tests and my prescriptions. She always asks if I have any other concerns. She has been my primary doctor for several years now. She is the best.

I will always return to this location even though I moved to the county. This location is 100000% better than Glen Burnie, I ended up switching back here after 2 visits at the Glen Burnie office, one of those being pretty concerning and unacceptable. The doctors and support staff here are always wonderful. Thank you Chase Brexton Baltimore!

I had a health concern which was my primary reason for making the appointment, however she literally breezed past that to address what might have been through word of mouth another concern. She prescribed me birth control for that word of mouth health concern. But failed to address the initial reason for my visit which is noted in my actual chart. When asked why the matter was not addressed she than said she was going to wait for test results for this concern !! But she was not reluctant to prescribe me medication based off of a word of mouth with no prior testing! This instantly upset me due to the nature of the visit I literally could have went to patient first. It was not a narcotic nor was it an STD so I am very baffled that she would speak to me in a way as if I am unaware or breaking the law! To say the least without being rude its been a horrible experience that was really unnecessary her wording was awful and I not longer think this practice is for me I am not a high priority patient and it showed i have now found a new family practice. They should really just. Focus on a certain type of clientele because the family practice side gets pushed to the back alot.

Since I’ve been coming to Chase Brexton (2013) I’ve always felt listened to and cared for. My concerns have always been priority and met with equal concern. Deb Dunn has always helped me when navigating my care and how I want to be treated. She listens and engages actively. I don’t feel rushed or hurried. I feel safe with Chase Brexton.

Providers and nurses are great but i really dont care for the front desk or customer service attendants. theyre always cold and i get the feeling that im interrupting their day whenever i communicate with them. dont get that warm feeling you hope for when you first enter the doctors office that ive experienced at other offices. not outwardly nasty or unprofessional but also not outwardly warm & welcoming

I love Chase Brexton Mount Vernon location. Everybody is lovely and understanding. They make sure that you leave with as many answers and as much help as you need. I’ve been with them since 2016 and I don’t plan to leave.

Don’t get stuck in an Uber, hop out and run three blocks to try and make it on time to get the medications you need, to have 4 peopleTell you there is nothing they can do and they’re closed. I was just in the emergency room at mercy yesterday. In the timeIt took to explain what happened, after I tried to call from the Uber, someone could have processed them. As someone who is always more than early for any appointment I have, try not to waste time and resources I know other people need, it’s frustrating to watch a group of people just say no, because it’s Friday and everyone wants to get home, and I could have been helped. I was clearly out of breath and sweating from hopping out of the Uber stuck on the road, to try and make it on time. 9 times out of 10, I never have anything but good things to say about my care and services at Chase Brexton but right now, as I pay to get back in an Uber to go home, and need the medications I can’t get until Monday now, I can’t help but be upset. In situations like this one bad experience lets me knowTo have all of my medications transferred to a new pharmacy with more accommodating hours and staff.

Waited over an hour to see the doctor and then was barely seen by her. I do not recommend coming here or seeing Dr. Green. If you do come I recommend not going on Tuesday as they were ridiculously behind

Sad that this is the only accessible trans healthcare in Baltimore City. I came in for an HRT consultation and was not only repeatedly misgendered (like seriously, use context clues) but they did not tell me how to properly do injections or where to get needles as well as what kind to use. I felt incredibly discarded by staff. I’ve also been locked out of the quest diagnostic app and cannot access my bloodwork results. I’ve been on hold with them for an hour now despite being number one in the “queue”. What a joke.

Dental department should be avoided. I had an appointment at 9:45a (confirmed via text). When I arrived, they said my appointment was at 8:45a. Nobody asked for any ID or insurance from me, so if you want free dental care, just say you have an appointment, and they’ll probably see you under someone else’s name.Eventually the dentist saw me for 3 minutes. She said I had 2 new cavities (on teeth that my previous dentist was never concerned about). The X-rays they took don’t even show all of my teeth. They didn’t do a cleaning, so I waited months for an appointment just so I could wait more months for a real appointment.The person who scheduled my future appointments didn’t even ask if any dates worked for me. She just silently handed me a card with the dates I was supposed to return.I came back a few days later to cancel those appointments. Nobody was at the front desk. When they decided to show up to work, it turned out my future appointments weren’t scheduled correctly either. They can’t even properly copy down the date from a computer screen onto a piece of paper.

Most satisfied with my first visit with Dr. Friedman (whom I personally chose w/o ever meeting her). I was elated when she revealed that she would in turn be my primary care physician! My mammography appt is already scheduled. Appointment date 6/28/23; professionalism, genuine care at its very best!

I love the care I get at Chase Brexton. The continuity of service is perfect and my PCP (Rebecca) has made strides with my healthcare.

Was scheduled to see Speedie three times. Twice in person, once over tele-health. Never saw her at all. First time, I showed up early, paid my co-pay, and sat in the waiting room for 45 mins. When I asked about the long wait time, the receptionist said I was called 3 times. I didnt hear my last name, nor preferred name, nor date-of-birth. I was not called. I rescheduled for the next week, same day and time.Second appointment comes, I check in and was instructed to go straight to the back...for an insurance eligibilty appointment that I didnt ask for, nor need. I paid my copay the first visit with insurance i already had. Frustrated, I rescheduled a second time, for a tele-health appointment.I signed in 5 minutes before my appointment. Waited 15 minutes. Signed out. Never saw her. The call I got from the office 30 minutes after I signed out was un-apologetic and quick, with nothing resolved but a cancelled appointment.

Just the absolute BEST experiences each and every time I go to Chase Brexton in Mt Vernon! From the security guard at the garage all the way through every single person involved in the operations of the establishment, I have never experienced a more welcoming place. Always clean, the staff are all amazing, judgement-free no matter the situation, affirming and empowering care from the receptionists to the nurses to the therapists and doctors; I am so thankful to have a place like this available not only for me, but for me to recommend to anyone I know with full confidence that they will be well taken care of no matter what services they need. I have been going to Chase Brexton for years now and I absolutely love my PCP Rebecca Coppolla MSN/MPH,CRNP. She is so down to earth and genuinely cares for her patients. She takes her time with you and is very open minded. Shes not only professional but extremely knowledgeable of new and innovative treatments within the healthcare system as well. She actually listens to her patients and provides the best care possible for your individual health and well being. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful as well. Also, Chase Brexton makes it extremely convenient to access certain services with an in house blood lab, a walk in clinic, a fast and efficient pharmacy and they provide mental health care as well as many other services. I highly recommend my phenomenal provider and Chase Brexton for all of your healthcare needs! 5 stars!

The visit itself was great. I’m lucky to have Dunn and my main medical person. That being said, it took me over a year to see her in person again. I had a very upsetting medical issue and I couldn’t be seen by anyone for THAT LONG. Dunn is completely over booked. I can even see them again for a follow up until DECEMBER.

This doctor was the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. If I was the legal type, maybe I’d pursue getting her license removed. She was completely unprofessional and unpleasant. Worst of all, her lack of basic healthcare knowledge put my life at risk and ended me up in the ER.

My doctor did not arrive for my appointment. I waited over an hour and they did not arrive.

Dr. Rader is very good, she take her time to explain everything. She definitely make sure understand. Im so thankful to have her as my Doctor.

Most of the staff are you still top notch. But I have not been happy with my provider. She doesnt listen to me. And I dont think she realizes that Im very familiar with how it make appointments and finds specialist because I was a surgical tech for a while. Very fustrating.

I love the care that I get from my doctor at Chase Brexton Mt. Vernon. Deborah Dunn is very friendly and really takes the time to get to know her patients.

They are very kind an helpful only thing I dont like is I could call the pharmacy all day an next day before they answer I be trying to put my meds in before 11 run. Take to long picking up. Yes need Eliquis filled they say you havent put it in yet have no more today.

The staff is also very polite, helpful and professional. 5 stars and zero complaints!Chase brexton in Mount Vernon on Charles Street has been my health care center for the past 12 years. As a patient of Chase brexton I have experienced so many great things. From case management, Pharmacy, talk therapy Primary Care, food pantry, Dentistry, nutritionist and gynecologist everything about Chase brexton is 1000 Stars or more. They treat you not just as a patient but as an individual.There is an underground parking garage on Biddle and Charles Street which is free of charge for Chase brexton patients.Their case management on the 6th floor is the best in all of Baltimore City. Whatever need you may have will likely be met if you take the time to meet with a case manager.The pharmacy is okay in person. However I receive my medications by bicycle delivery and Miss Denise who works in the mail order department is always Stellar in her job.Theres also a lab so when you need blood work done you can go right downstairs and get that taken care of.Another great thing about Chase Brexton is they have a walk-in clinic that operates Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Which is so convenient because if you have a need that does not require the emergency room and you are between doctors appointments you can go and see a doctor for your medical need any day during the week.I highly recommend Chase brexton to anyone who is seeking Healthcare Services in Baltimore City.For more Specialized Care the staff at Chase brexton including your primary care provider can give you a referral to the hospital or medical center of your choice in regards to your needs.Also The security staff who works there has been there for a long time the whole group of them and they are very friendly and they work very hard at their job they are not sitting there on their phones playing around.

I am dissatisfied with customer service and professionalism. It is unacceptable for an appointment that was scheduled 2 months in advance to be canceled due to the physician deciding to be out of the office 2 weeks before my appointment. To make matters worst this appointment was rescheduled by staff close to the beginning of Spring, 2023. Anyone can understand needing a break and I encourage it but it should be the physicians responsibility to find a fair and reasonable accommodation for his/her patients due to requiring to be out of the office. I am completely devastated and disappointed.

Dr Green listens when I try to describe my symptoms. She makes thoughtful comments and is very clear in her recommendations. I have great trust in her diagnostic abilities after several years. I recommend her highly.

My provider is Amit Dhir. He has been the absolute best. He is really thorough and makes things happen. If he doesnt like my answers to his questions, he simply says, fix it. I love that he isnt afraid to challenge me to do better and not scared to speak up. He has proven time and time again that he has my best interest at heart. I simply love him.

My initial opinion of Dr. Dhir is that he appears to have genuine concern for his clients health and wellbeing. I look forward to working together with him and his staff.

My experience with Rebecca Coppola MSN/MPH/CRPNMy experience with her is always great. She takes the time to explain things to you. Look at other options for the issues. Talk to you about what you could do differently suggest things that can be done. She also won’t hesitate to let you know if you’re not doing something. and if you need a prescription for something, and she feel as though it may be necessary, she will fill prescription and give you a referral if she feels that you need to see someone else. I enjoy talking to her and her being my provider.

Amit Dhir is a very thorough and empathetic physician who is always on top of the latest medical advancements and ensures that patients are taken care of holistically. I’ve enjoyed having him as my physician for well over four years now.

If I live to be 100 I will never have a better doctor than Christin Green. Smart, caring, and curious enough to find solutions, shes everything you could ever want in a medical professional. Damn the random nature of private insurance, because Id stay with Dr. Green forever if the beancounters would let me.

My follow up check up with Dr. Friedman was a great experience. Her professionalism was excellent and she answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I was also impressed with her prompt feedback after my test results!

Updated. April 2023: DO NOT GO HERE. The providers are mostly really excellent but management and administration is inept, incompetent, or uncaring -- perhaps all three. Do you need to make or your change appointment? Good luck! You will call the main line and leave multiple messages, even during business hours. As far as I can tell, all messages go into a black hole. You will make an appointment for 10AM, be told to arrive at 930AM to complete paperwork and as of 11:40AM, still be waiting to see a provider -- yup, more than 90 minutes past your appointment time. They advertise about compassionate care but it cannot be so if you try to call and can never get thru, arrive for appointments timely and cannot actually be seen, and the patient portal frequently crashes. You will update your insurance information once, twice, three times through the call line and they will still bill your former carrier.Edited to add: in the last year or so, our childs therapist, psych NP, and pediatric provider have all left. The psych NP and therapist let us know; the pediatrician did not but his picture and information has been removed from the website.

My experience has been absolutely wonderful Ive been seeing Dr Dunn for almost 6 years now. And Ive had nothing but great experiences with this doctor they help me get to where I needed to be I got my surgery and Im doing well with the care that Ive been given if anybody is available to care for you through your transition its Dr Deb Dunn.

No emergency dental services, my doctor changed after the first visit, missed half my appointment because they forgot to schedule an interpreter and were trying to figure out what to do without even telling me what was going on, and then I got billed only partially through my insurance deductible and part came directly to me as a separate bill. Ill risk inferior trans services somewhere else to have better medical services.

Amit (Mickey) is amazing and is excellent at his job, all while showing that he cares about his patients. Nowadays, it’s hard to find a provider who’s caring and compassionate about health issues and he goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients make wise health choices and I’m forever grateful. HIGHLY recommended!

Great for trans people! I highly recommend the gender-affirming care. Through the informed consent model, I was able to get my HRT/Testosterone from them (sent to another pharmacy). They still have teleheath appointments, which I appreciate.

My first visit went well, I have a rare neurological condition and recently relocated back to Maryland. My medication was so difficult to get during this transition. Rebecca worked it out for me. Everything was accessible for my wheelchair, free parking and pharmacy all in 1 place.

I waited 3 and a half hours to be seen by my doctor. I was put in a patient appointment room and forgotten about for 2 hours. I was told multiple times that my doctor was running behind only to be told by a new receptionist at 6 o’clock that I had already been marked as “seen” in the computer and that’s why I was still waiting. Will not be returning to Chase Brexton. A waste of my time.

Horrible service every time I come. They not organized at all. They cancel appointments without telling you. Your doctor comes an hour or so after you arrive. No matter how many times you update information they’re not going to update your information. The front desk is argumentative and out right lazy. While sitting in the waiting room I listen to them complain about coworkers.

PA Dunn is fabulous from the moment she walked into the room. She connected with my kiddo and had all the information that we needed. She was wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough.

Chase Brexton primary care medical services are like the toxic ex you keep giving second chances to who later makes you cry and youre reminded why you broke up. This place has messed up urgent medical appointments I needed not once but at least three to four times since Ive been a patient here in the last seven years. If you can go anywhere else - do it. If they mess up, and they will, they will not take any responsibility and kick you to the curb literally crying.Bless some of the providers trying to do good here, but the corporate administration continuously makes being a medical patient here a terrible experience.

The customer service was horrible, zero stars would be a more appropriate rating if google allowed it. I have covid so I called to reschedule my appointment. The receptionist Marie D. answered my call and spoke to me with the nastiest tone. She made rude and condescending comments towards me and was hesitant to give me her name when I asked for it. She even hung up on me while I was in the middle of talking. All I wanted was to reschedule my appointment, it didn’t call for that type of behavior from Marie D. or whatever her real name is.Chase Brexton has wonderful providers, but it’s being overshadowed by the unprofessional behaviors exhibited by the receptionists. Unfortunately, this is the 3rd incident I have come across here, but I got a name this time. Chase Brexton needs to address the concerns otherwise they will continue to lose patients.The wait time to speak to a receptionist is also ridiculous, it seems like the company doesn’t have enough receptionists. This is the first time l have seen a Doctor at Chase BRAXTON and did not receive a summary of the services provided at the visit. I have no copy of my weight, blood presure, or copy of referrals or what I should do nextThis was the worst visit l ever had at Chase BRAXTON. I retain copies of my summary of all my visits there. This is the only time l dont have a summary. Why ?

I had Chase Brexton as my healthcare provider as a student in Baltimore from 2016-2020. While there, I got my tetanus shot from them (the doctor missed my vein twice before hitting it).Even better, I went back today to get the record of the vaccine and they had lost it after telling me to come in to get it.They were completely unapologetic and just told me to leave. What a joke.

The doctors are always young, progressive, thoughtful and caring and some of the best and the only reason I continue to come back but otherwise everything else is a mess. The phone system is worthless, you cant reach anyone and leaving messages gets no return call (if the system will even allow you to leave a message... sometimes it just rings nonstop). The patient portal usually gets no response. On many occasions have had to email my doctor directly for prescription refills once my and my pharmacys requests have been ignored and Im out of medication. Its impossible to get a timely appointment when you need it. Youll be scheduled for months out or told to come in at 8am and sit there and wait and MAYBE someone can see you. (What sick or working person has time for that?). Billing is regularly screwed up. Prescriptions get sent to wrong pharmacies. The onsite parking is nice though. For being such an important provider in the community, there really needs to be an overhaul in administration and operations because the patient care suffers so much.

Chase Brexton is a place of nightmares. You will have to jump through hoops and be talked to like you’re the scum of the earth. This place needs to update their admission procedures and rehire half of the staff. You know, actually have people with a passion for health care. It’s honestly such a shame. Though they’re far from Mt. Vernon, I guarantee you will be better off at Patient First locations.

Worst dental care ever. The staff is often mostly fine and the doctors tend towards obnoxious, over confident and inexperienced, quick to jump to whatever’s easy and not to what is ethically helpful. Good luck keeping your appointments as they select people to double book or to cancel on regularly because the front desk scheduling staff is incompetent and unable to communicate. Three times and n a row now that they double scheduled or the doctors have suddenly taken vacations. Absolutely the worst. One star only because Google makes you choose at least one.

CRNP DHIR is an amazing pcp at Chase Brexton Health Services. He is knowledgeable about health, and gives great comfort and pride with patients on their health. I have been seeing him for over 5 plus years. He is an exceptional health care provider. He explains thoroughly the medications that are prescribed and the uses for them, while also figuring out the right dosage.

I absolutely love Dr. Friedman she has been a pivotal part of my mental health journey. I am on my way to a healthier me because of her.

Rebecca was very chill and yet knowledgeable, friendly but efficient, and quick to look up info on a new modality I had heard about and wanted to try. The place in general is very LGBTQIA+ friendly and knowledgeable about that (my) community’s specific issues. Highly recommend.

Most annoying automated phone system EVER!!! Same Annoying message repeated relentlessly before you can access appointment scheduling. Hold times can be upwards of 45 minutes. -How about some nice relaxing music after you’ve heard the message a couple of times?Also, the dental clinic rarely answers their phone. The message says they will return your call within 24 hours, but I have not had my calls returned. So frustrating! Otherwise, a good place to go for medical and dental care. The doctors I have seen here are good.

It almost feels as though they are just going through the exam to say they did it. My concerns are never addressed, and are quite frankly are dismissed. When scheduling an appointment I have no idea who we have an appointment with, and I am not even told durring the scheduling that I will not be seeing thier regular doctor. Serveral times I have received conflicting information when speaking with a new/ different doctor. When a prescription is written for myself or my children, I make a point to notify the doctor we are seeing that we use Rite Aide pharmacy. Even though I give them the name, address, phone and fax number, I constently receive phone calls from Chases pharmacy that my prescription is ready for pick -up (I have never used thier pharmacy). Then I have to call my pharmacy to ask them to call Chase and get my perscription transferred, slowing down the process of them receiving thier medications. I am extremely dissatisified with the services I have recieved from this practice. If I were ever asked by someone looking for a new provider, I would tell them to avoid Chase Brexton at all costs!!!! The only competent doctor I have ever interacted with is Dr Kimberly Johnson.

I felt torn as to whether or not I should write this review; however, I believe someone may find this helpful when deciding on a dentist.I do not recommend this dental office. After scheduling an appointment four months in advance, I waited over an hour just to be told that they had lost my paperwork, which I had filled out when I arrived. I completed the paperwork again and waited patiently to be seen by the dentist. However, some time later the receptionist informed me there was a schedule mix-up and would have to wait another hour to be seen... This office is disorganized and inattentive.If you have insurance, I recommend you go elsewhere. Although I am mindful that due to covid many health workers are overworked and burnt out, I felt the complete lack of attention was unwarranted - especially since I received multiple calls throughout the week confirming my appointment.- My appointment was at 12:00 (noon), I arrived at 11:50, filled out the paperwork, was told I would not be seen by the dentist until 2:00 pm.I requested a refund of my copay since I was not seen and had lost confidence in the staff at Chase Brexton.

Chase Brexton provides on-time attention to your appointment and they asked the right questions about my health and provided excellent care. They show real care for their patients health.

My experience with Dr. Jess is great. I love her she help with all my health issues. Anything I need she get for me.

Dr. Friedman takes the time to listen to your concerns and complaints. You can tell when your in good hands and I know I am with her.Thanks In Advance

Doctor Dunn is the reason I come to Chase Braxton for healthcare services it’s truly amazing for chase to have such incredible person apart of the team

I waited 4 months for an appointment. My appointment was for 6:20 I got there 6:27 due to the fact I went to the wrong entrance. The receptionist was rude and stated we have a 7 min grace period and stated I had to reschedule or wait for a no show. I asked if all of the doctors have that policy or just this one she said that’s the whole office. She begins to assist a another patient and then says “People are late and then expect special treatment” I told her unprofessional she was and she begins to argue with me in front of another visitor. This my first time going to this doctor. If this is my first experience and that’s what represents this company I dont want to be scene by no body.

I would like to make appointment for dental but I called several time ask them for appointment but they didn’t provide me good information they said I have to wait 3 month to get appointment I don’t understand what kind of service that I have to wait 3 month??

The doctors dont care if u die today or tomorrow nobody is try to help me get my blood drawn from a doctor they referred me to it took me from August to get a appointment in December for the e&t doctor I need the lab work to get a MRI my doctor said she cant help me because I havent seen her since August well hello how Im I suppose to follow up with you if Im not done with the doctor you referred me to the doctor that I got referred to said I have a blockage so I can die today or tomorrow and everybody is fighting me just to get my labs done oh and I cant see the same doctor that dont want to help me untill March I really thought I finally found a good clinic but no they dont care like all the other clinics

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The only pleasant experience from this office was the one nurse who helped me on my first visit and the dr, Anita David. The customer service is non existent which is sad considering they are at the forefront of the office and provide the first overall impression. Don’t bother calling the number because it is not even to the actual office, just a call center. So information you get from them, isn’t always correct. Such as asking if I would be provided a doctors note for lab that my provider sent me to. Mind you, the lab is literally in their office. The main number said yes, after my lab work and going to the receptionist desk, they informed me that is not something they do for bloodwork. Two days later and several emails later, I received a not so friendly email saying it was being done as a courtesy but they will not provide one in the future for lab work. Fast forward to today for my follow up for my Bloodwork. My virtual appt was for 820, the provider came on at 840 and I had to be back to work by 9. The visit was quick, which worked out fine. Afterwards, it took over an hr to get my doctor note (which my work requires before you can return for any medical related appointment, I work for the state government) The note they gave me was for the wrong time and stated I was not to return to work until the next day. Almost 4 hours later of my fiancé taking off to get my corrected doctors note, it was finally obtained. This is all after she sat in the waiting room for over 2 hrs and getting yelled at for asking about my note. I do not recommend this place for anyone with an employer who requires notes for dr appt (which every place I’ve worked at has required besides maybe when I was 14 and a dishwasher) or if you would like prompt, attentive, polite, and useful customer service.

Dr. Green at cbhs is kind and caring.and the most patient and understanding of any provider that ive had at cbhs.she is pro-active with her treatment as well.i highly recommended if you want an all around excellent doctor. Robert Blaine gossard

New patient. Checked in at 1:20 p.m. for my 1:40 p.m. appt with Dr. Gabrielle Morris on 5/8/2023. Waited more than 40 minutes to be placed in an exam room; mishandled by an ill-trained medical assistant; doctor never showed. I left the building at 2:26 pm, with lack of care. Awful experience! I have been a patient for 40 years. The quality has diminished emensly. I have had many disrespectful staff fired because of how I have been poorly treated and its sad to think that public funds are being given to an organisation that lacks the willingness to address patient concerns I am leaving after 40 years however I am not done .There are over 700 reviews on this page and I am hoping that some of you do not mind me using some of them in my next plan of action to make Chase Brexton a better place for us all.

Dr. Jessica Friedman is the best PCP I have ever seen. She should be the example of what a Dr should be. I love her to death and trust her with everything. Hands down 10 stars for her.

In my experience, the doctors and nurses are great, but the administration is a mess. Wait times for appointments are very long, theyve lost my records, and are generally unhelpful when you call in for anything other than scheduling an appointment. They also make big claims about providing trans-affirming care, but Ive been berated for using my actual name when asked to identify myself (even though they have my preferred name on file) and been called by my deadname publicly in the waiting room. Ive had much better experiences at the University of Maryland Medical Center--if you can, Id go there instead.

By far one of the best Hospitals/ Clinics in Maryland, my doctor is very knowledgeable and informative about my health and well-being, she cuts no corners and is straight forward and I feel comfortable engaging and sharing my concerns with my health, thanks again for your excellent service youve always treated me like family Dr Deborah Dunn.

Never been given correct login info about the patient portal. Cant ever get in touch with someone in my doctors office for personal questions over the phone. Never given enough refills on my prescriptions, which results in me not being able to pick them up for weeks at a time. I don’t walk out feeling like a patient i feel like a another customer in the medical business.

Currently sitting in the dental office on the 6th floor customer service is horrible at the receptionist desk !Update: I came back to get a filling when the numbing went down and I tried to eat it felt like a rock was in my tooth . I called back immediately and I was told the doctor was in a room and would call me back today. I was offered another appointment 2days later.
