Ascension Saint Agnes OBGYN Wilkens Ave.

I’ve always had issues finding a good OB/Gyn, and really thought I finally found a great provider and clinic. My first few appointments went without any issues, but lately I’ve noticed that they are very inconsistent. For example, I did not have a provider show up to two of my virtual appointments, and then after that when I called to learn about the results of my study, I was directed to the voicemail for their NP. I kid you not, I have been calling/leaving messages for 2 months now without a call back, even though on the voicemail (because they never pick up) they state “we will respond to you within 24-48 hours”. I tried calling the office to just set up another virtual appointment and just as everyone in the comments are stating, no one picks up. I had really high hopes for this place because of how friendly the staff and provider were; however, it seems that I might have to continue searching. I mean, what kind of office can’t call you back to talk to you about your lab/imaging results? It takes just a few seconds, and I’ve been waiting for that “24-48h” call back for 2 months. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I still have hope for them.

I didn’t even get the opportunity to have an appointment here because I had such an awful experience over the phone. I originally scheduled this appointment back in September and at that time the soonest new patient non prenatal appointment was days before Christmas. Unfortunately 2 days before my appointment I had to reschedule due to reasons biologically out of my control. At that time the soonest appointment was at the end of March. I had gotten an appointment reminder text a few days prior to the appointment with the correct information from when I scheduled back in December. Then a day before the appointment I got a text that the appointment time was 45 minutes earlier than initially scheduled. I called the office and spoke with DESTINY who told me she called me to verify it was okay. I never got a call or voicemail. I managed to secure childcare even with the short notice. Hours later I got another text with the original appointment time. I called the office again to confirm the appointment time, because I thought maybe they changed it again. I again I spoke with DESTINY. After giving her my name and dob she gave me attitude saying she had already spoken with me and she told me the correct appointment time earlier in the day. I tried to explain to her that I got another text with a different appointment time to which she replied “I don’t have control over the texts the system sends!” I ended up calling another provider and scheduled elsewhere. It’s hard enough as a mother to try to schedule appointments and try to put yourself first without having to deal with attitudes that make you feel unwelcome.

I wish I could give this 0 stars !! I have been trying to get a hold of someone at the office in regards to my results that have been ready since July 26th and I have called several times to no avail. Also the person who answers the phone when I do get an answer is very rude. I am very disappointed and I will take my business somewhere else. You guys are a complete joke and I will not waste another appointment with you. You are not ready for the medical business.

Horrible experience , been waiting over two weeks for my test results and the receptionist has no manners. She over talks and has a nasty attitude. I don’t recommend anyone doing business at this location.

Front desk operator is very rude and disgusting. Lots of person based on reviews have complained about her and yet she is still working at the office. Honestly wish there was an option for 0 stars.

No stars this place is awful. They took weeks to transfer my records to a new office and when I had issues with scheduling a date with my new provider, and asked to be seen because of not being seen for prenatal care in weeks i was told i wasnt welcomed back because i decided to switch; Front office staff is a joke and you cant ever get a hold of a manager. The assistant who was helping the actual doctor and one of my appointments wasnt even wearing gloves. They check heart beat and send you on your way. Notes not updated and lab work late.

I absolutely love Dr.Vietz and Tiffany! They take great care of me. I cant stand the receptionists at this office. I really cant. I was just put on a 40 minute hold, and still was unable to reach my nurse regarding my birth control prescription. This is an issue that has to be handled in a timely manner due to my insurance not covering my birth control if it isnt filled in a 90 day script. I was tossed around three times, I called back three times, and was still told my nurse will call me back and theyll leave a message for her. Monday I did the same thing, and never got a call back. I have no idea if this matter will be taken care of. I hate that my doctor and nurse are so lovely and take care of me so well, and their receptionists/staff do not give a single bit of care toward patients. It is insanely frustrating, and the last thing I want to do is call a doctors office and yell/get angry/have an attitude, but its very clear Im being passed around and not taken seriously. I am VERY concerned this matter will not be taken care of due to the lack of regard from the front desk, or that my message will be relayed to my proper care team.

The lady who answers the phone to schedule appointments is disrespectful and does not need to be working in customer service. I recently TRIED to switch OB’s but for the past 3 weeks they refuse to send over my documents to my new OB. I’ve went without care for over 6 weeks now due to them not being able to send anything over. They’re a joke and i seriously do not recommend here. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Best gyn care Ive ever had. Gentle, listens well, and great care.

After I found out I was pregnant, I started my care here bc it was the closest place. Not thinking about it being Saint Agnes. At my second appointment, I started asking about a tubal (This was my 3rd pregnancy and Im 39 years old) the doctor laughed at me and said No, we dont do that here.... Then I asked about birth control at least and was laughed at again. After that, I asked for a referral to a different doctor bc I did not want another late in life pregnancy. This time the doctor seemed agitated. The reason I was given is bc its against THEIR religion. Women in this area have it bad as now I have to go almost an hour away to try and get the surgery.

I enjoy seeing Dr. Bonsu very much. She truly cares about her patients and spends valuable time with them. She addresses any concern you have and will never leave you guessing or feeling uncertain about your health.The five stars are strictly for her. The office could improve in regard to wait time. I travel about an hour to see Dr. Bonsu because I refuse to see anyone else. Having to wait over 30 minutes each visit is frustrating. The staff are friendly enough but not overly so. No big deal there.Overall, Dr. Bonsu makes it all worth it. Ill follow her wherever she goes.

I love my doctor but waiting over an hour for each OB appointment is unacceptable. I make an effort to be on time for my appointment and I expect to be seen in a timely manner. This is very inconsiderate. Changes need to be made to the scheduling so that patients are seen at the time they are scheduled.

Saw Dr.Bansu for the first time. She explained the treatment plan throughly and gave me the next steps. I really appreciate her knowledge and expertise and great manners! I am glad I found a OBGYN here in Maryland.

I was cancelled on twice, the second time I was never notified. Ive called their emergency line and was given a sorry we cant do anything response. Dont waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Vietz cares about his patients and is an awesome surgeon. His staff is very professional. Dr. Bonsu, has been my physician for years and she is excellent.

I’ve called 3 times over 3 days now and have been put off with “well give you a call” only for them not to do it. As an office with many black women I’m so disappointed in this lack of care and urgency!!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Vietz for years. He is kind and compassionate.
