Planned Parenthood - Baltimore City Health Center

The staff at this location were phenomenal. The receptionist, the nurses, and my doctor were all extremely helpful, kind, and informative. Dr Shaw and Nikki were warm, professional, and absolutely amazing. They helped me to feel very comfortable and supported during my visit. I wish I had gotten everyone else’s names so that I could call them all out for their exceptional care.One nurse (or ultrasound tech?) whose name I believe started with an A (might have been Adriana? Or something else similar) conducted an ultrasound on me today and went out of her way to take the time to educate me on the fine details of what we were looking at, and she was just so sweet and knowledgeable and kind, even though she was clearly very busy and assisting with other patients while I was there. Overall, I was very impressed by the staff here.

I got my IUD replaced here yesterday. They were able to get me in asap and the ONLY reason Im not leaving 5 stars is due to the wait time but it is what it is. Appointment was at 2:40 and was seen about an hour later but the care was phenomenal. The ladies were all so sweet and kind and Im anxious in any and all medical settings and head the friendly nature of the staff was so helpful. These ladies are amazing and if I were to ever need to go to a planned parenthood again, it would be this one.

If I could give this facility 10 stars I would! The staff is very professional yet very patient and kind, quick, organized, and I overall at the best experience Ive ever had in any health facility Ive been too. (no exaggeration ) THANK YOU All from the skilled and educated physicians to the front desk receptionists for the best experience I couldve had here I will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I’m not from here, but Baltimore is lucky to have such sweet angels like Adri & Brionne. Adri kept me laughing and feeling comfortable and Brionne is a sweetheart and got me snacks. I’m so grateful the universe brought me these two in such a difficult time in my life. They are definitely living in their purpose working in the healthcare field, this field needs kind people like them.But not only them, those who work at the front are also such kind warm and welcoming people. I’m glad I came here.

I had a termination yesterday. it was one of the hardest things i have ever done. the staff at this clinic made me feel so comfortable & supported. the doctor walked me through the entire procedure as it was happening & nikki, from all the other reviews, held my hand & wiped my tears during the procedure. i can not thank you all enough for your kindness during one of the most horrible experiences of my life.

I have a telehealth appointment this morning and every person I talked to on the phone made me feel so comfortable and at ease. They were all incredibly friendly and understanding. The nurse practitioner gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you planned parenthood, so grateful for your services.

I had an excellent telehealth appointment with Ariel (HCA) and Kelly (NP). They were both so kind, helpful and supportive. Their bedside manner was honestly beautiful and I wish other providers at other health institutions were like them. They clearly are passionate about providing quality care to people who seek it. It was easy to talk through my questions and concerns, as well as get a refill on my prescriptions. Definitely will be utilizing this telehealth option again.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. The facility was clean and private. They provide a wide range of services, including routine gynecology visits. I wish I could go to them for all medical care!

I had such an amazing experience at Planned Parenthood Baltimore for my medical procedure. Everyone I interacted with (security, front desk, all the nurses, and the practitioner) was absolutely amazing. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or feel like I wasn’t receiving proper care. Tracy Bell, the nurse practitioner, was especially great. So was Shannon who did the patient education portion. I didn’t read reviews before going here, but I’m very shocked at how this place could have negative reviews as that was the complete opposite of my experience. I would absolutely go back for any needed medical care or treatments. Thank you Planned Parenthood Baltimore!

When i went into PPH, i had a bunch of mixed feelings at the time .. However, Brionne helped me out alot .. she’s such a sweet woman, she’s helpful and extremely compassionate. She made me feel safe and welcome. Also, Ezrah . Same thing .. She’s such a sweetheart and actually made me laugh a few times too ! These women at this planned parenthood are awesome 🙃

This has been the best experience. I met with Nikki, Emily, and the rest of the staff were warm and explained everything to me from beginning to end. God bless the staff as they continue to bless others.

As just a “clinic” 10/10 highly recommend lol just as good or even better than going to a specialist.…I received the best treatment they were so fast and accurate I couldnt believe it… amazing work to everyone at this office from the providers to the reception… phenominal work! If I could give 10 starts I would… WOW

I traveled from Alabama to come here during a very difficult period in my life. I was alone and had no emotional support. Ezra was so kind to me, even crying with me and reassuring me that everything would be ok. I can never thank the staff here enough.

I was so nervous going here because of the negative reviews. My experience was more then perfect. Everyone here has AMAZING bedside manor. I felt the most comfortable Ive ever felt in a Drs office. I cant thank the staff enough for making my experience the best ot couldve been.

Went here before I was having a lot mix feelings and fears and nervous but the staff the doctors or nurses were warm welcoming and very informative and have related stories and read me just like book didnt even said my story its just like they knew how i felt

The staff here are really professional and kind! I didnt have to wait too long for my appointment, and the process itself was extremely efficient and easy going. I had Tracy as my doctor, and she made sure to answer all of my questions and worries and made the experience a lot more positive than it couldve been - I cant recommend her enough : ). Planned Parenthood of Baltimore was amazing from the moment I walked in the front door to the moment I left. Very compassionate staff that was informative and empathetic!

When I walked in I did not have an appointment but I had an urgency to be seen. The security guard made an exception for me out of pure care and kindness. A young lady with a chain that said “boss lady” treated me with sheer kindness as she smiled through her mask and took my info. Candace then escorted me to my exam room, with her shiny shoes and beautiful demeanor , she respectfully asked me what needed to be asked. When Tracy walked in, she had a resident with her. She took great care of me but also showed leadership, empathy as well as an example of how people of color should be treated when seeing a doctor to said resident. This place deserves to be protected just based on the fact that Candice does the hair of her colleagues to make sure they all look as beautiful as the treatment I received.

You guys are all rockstars and very appreciated. Thank you for all that you do 😊 I had to travel from northern DE to this location as this was the only place I could get an appointment with soon enough. I was nervous going to this location at first, because I am not used to big cities. The staff here are so friendly, professional, upbeat, and knowledgeable. They take the time to listen to you and make sure you are well informed and sure of your decision. I see people complaining about the wait. Sure there is a wait, but it is because they do not rush patients and have policies and procedures they need to abide by. The process itself can be lengthy between paper and blood work, ultrasounds, patient education, urine tests, and more. In my opinion, I think they were pretty darn efficient. It is clearly is outlined in pre-arrival info to plan on being here for up to 3hrs (process for me was not that long though). They take the time to explain and answer questions. I rather wait for people that care about you rather than feel rushed. They were sure to keep me updated throughout the appointment about how everything was progressing. I wish I got the names of everyone that I encountered here. I was here 10/9 around 1:50pm for 1-2hr.

Honestly I was coming to the Planned Parenthood located on N . Howard Street with horrible expectations. However I was assisted by lovely people and one person that stick out the most to me Ezra . They is very pleasant to talk to and I recommend hiring more people like them. They made my experience here 100% better.

Wonderful, wonderful experience. OB/GYN appointments are usually so traumatic and stressful for me, but Planned Parenthood are incredible. So communicative and forthcoming with information, amazing listeners. Ive never felt so validated and cared for at any medical facility in my life. Also, my appointment started right on time, they had cold water and the most pleasant, calming vibes in the waiting area. Honestly, I felt like I was VIP at a spa.Also, a special shout-out to the rainbow-vest-clad avenging angels who kept the obnoxious protesters at bay and made sure I had safe, easy access to the building.

Mixed reviews. (This will be long because I hope it helps someone who was as nervous as me)PROS: availability. I needed an appointment for a medical abortion ASAP and they were the only one in MD with the soonest appointment. Wait time was decent: my appointment was for 9am and I was leaving by 11:30am (with sedation). I was told to prepare to be there for 3-5 hours, so this was a plus. I was in and out. Also, the nurses staff in the procedure/recovery room (Rachel) and Dr. Shan were very professional! Jared was also very informative with the education portion. They collectively made me very comfortable receiving this procedure for the first time. I was very emotional and anxious because I had never received sedation before but they comforted me every step of the way. One of the assistants even gave me a hug before the procedure began. I wish I could remember their names! I can say my entire procedure experience was a 9/10. The actual procedure was less than 10 minutes. I couldn’t believe how much of a breeze it was.CONS: the reception area staff. The security guard who checked us in was very friendly however everyone else did not make me feel welcomed or at ease upon arrival. I almost considered leaving because I didn’t feel welcomed. The staff at the front desk were very loud, laughing and on their phones on social media while people in the waiting room were anxious, nervous, emotional, etc. I feel like this area should be the most peaceful and quiet because this is patient’s first impression of the location. Based on my arrival, I did not think I was going to want to complete my procedure there. But once I went back to the actual medical staff, my mood completely changed.I would recommend this place ONLY if you have tough skin and need an appointment ASAP like I did.

The front staff were very friendly and delightful! Dr. Shah was so kind and personable. She explained everything that was going to happen so thoroughly Those things mean a lot to me when having a complex exam. I am taking a star off for the wait. Although they apologized profusely and offered me water. My appt was at 1:30 (so i arrived by 1:15) and I didn’t leave there until after 3:00PM. Plan accordingly if you plan a visit there after lunch hours and are needing to get back to work/re pay the meter.

ALL of the staff members that I encountered at today’s visit were TREMENDOUSLY knowledgeable, compassionate and overall professional. From the front desk staff to the MA’s even the one’s in training… I applaud them all. 👏🏽 I highly recommend this location. Through out the entire process Dr. Stacey L. Rubin and her assistant were GREAT! Very supportive, quick and just great at what she does. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s from me! 👌🏽

ABSOLUTELY awful patient care. Have had me sitting naked 30+ mins waiting for the procedure… mind you my appointment was at 10:20 and it’s 1pm. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC unless you want to be treated like an actual animal.

I’ve been here twice and both times the medical assistants, nurses, and staff have been very friendly and helpful. They didn’t make me wait very long and answered any questions I had. They made me feel comfortable and was very professional even though I was being seen for what I felt was an embarrassing situation.

I was receiving HRT in VA for over 6+ years. At the 3 different PP’s I went to I could schedule an appointment, go in, do my bloodwork, and walk out with my prescription. None of the PP’s in MD are ever “accepting new transgender patients”. What I want to know is why I’m being told there’s a waitlist over 8+ months, and WHY they “aren’t accepting new patients at this time”. They NEVER are! If you’re on the waitlist do not expect a call back. As you can see, none of these reviews are for gender affirming reasons, even though it states they offer those services.

The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the nurses and so on. I came here to have my Nexplanon removed and a new one inserted, the procedure took less than 20 minutes overall which included numbing the area as well. My PA was phenomenal - I had a horrible experience with the last Nexplanon that was removed at a different location (not planned parenthood) so my nerves were at an all time high BUT this PA completely eased my nerves, comforted me, talked about life with me, joked with me etc etc. I could not be more grateful for the kindness and the caring demeanor the entire staff showed me and displayed the entire time. Thank you!

I will give planned Parenthood 5 stars. I waited maybe 15 before I was seen. Lorraine was sweet and she comforted me. The staff was very friendly and comforting. I went there for a procedure to done yesterday, I was so worried but the staff was great including the nurse and doctor who were assigned to me. I had to write this review because Planned Parenthood tend to get bad reviews and talk about them. This was my first time going to Planned Parenthood and might I add it was good experience and great first impressions. I would totally go back and recommend them to family and friends.

HRT waitlist is over a year, regardless of actually being a new patient or just new to the state. Two stars because the problem is not unique to this location. Not sure how it is now, but if youre able to, PA has treated me well

I had a really great experience here. All the staff were very kind and amiable. I was nervous for the appointment but the medical assistants and nurses had a laid back/ calm attitude which was comforting. I felt like I was in good hands. Would definitely come back.

Planned Parenthood Baltimore is FANTASTIC! They are very professional and do absolutely everything they can to make sure that you are comfortable and safe. They are very professional and knowledgeable about anything that you need, and all of the staff are very friendly and put me at ease. They were very kind and funny towards me and answered all the questions I had, as well as giving me literature and diagrams to give me more knowledge. They also make sure that their services are affordable for everyone and will do everything that they can to work with you, no matter your situation. The ladies here at the Baltimore location were phenomenal from the time I came to the door with the friendly escorts and checked in, had procedure, to the time I left.I was in and out. Everyone was so nice and professional. They made me feel comfortable and made my procedure wayyy less stressful. I was so anxious coming in and the whole staff including nurses and dr put me at ease. My visit at the Howard St location was pure love. The women are super supportive, and make sure to properly inform you on your health coverage qualifications actions, and provides. the best emotional support. I was honored to be assisted by Ms. Candice, and she was beyond comforting and kind. I highly recommend this location for black women, for the staff isn’t judgmental and very nurturing. Thank you Ms. Kimberly for the work you do for the women of Baltimore, you lab experience is appreciated. Peace to all of you women. ♥️

Today I had an appointment for depo. Everything was so smooth and quick. I love my nurse Mrs.Tremayne she is always so sweet and her energy hits you soon as she greets you. I love a place you can come and they actually remember who you are and don’t have to keep explaining things. Great customer service overall

From the volunteer escorts helping me through the protesters, all the way up to the aftercare, the staff was unbelievably comforting and helpful. Every staff I came in contact with made me feel the most comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Much love and respect for this institution! Y’all are awesome

Girlfriend had an appointment at 9 am. People that walked in 1-2 hours after us were taken back before us and then taken care of before her. She sat with an iv attached for almost 2 hours with no one helping or even checking on her because they started her procedure then decided to go on lunch break. Only come here if you plan to waste your whole day in a waiting room

Would recommend this location 100%, they were very caring from the beginning all the way up to my procedure and the fact the I changed my mind at the end the MA was able to track down provider to ask about change on my procedure. I couldn’t of been more happier, if I could make them my go to place I would but living an hour away makes it hard. Definitely coming back for more services. Thanks PPH

It’s 5 stars for me, My experience with this center was great (Howard St) I live in Baltimore MD & needed to set up an appt for a routine std screening. This was my first time with this center & my appt was set for 9:20am today with the telehealth option. I received an email & text notification as a reminder followed by a phone call from a PE Representative named Candice. She was so nice & super helpful even when the telehealth app wasn’t working properly she called me back via phone & continued to assist me as well as being patient while I got the app back up & running. She made me feel super comfortable especially with the personal questions that was asked & collected all of my info needed to speak with the Nurse. I then spoke with the Doc/Nurse to go over my screening & she was also nice & answered all questions I had. After my appt was completed the PE rep Candice called me back to make sure I had all of the details on what site to visit for my testing & She even went the extra mile as to setting me up with health insurance as well as a pharmacy near me if needed, Thanks Candice !!! Overall I was pleased with the service & would definitely recommend this center. Great Job Ladies!

Been here since my appointment time exactly 10:50 still haven’t been seen. It’s 12:59… it’s now 2:30 and I still haven’t been seen this is ridiculous! Do not go heree!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This location is very slow and the staff sucks. There was a woman who was purposely skipped because she kept inquiring about the wait and when she would finally be seen. She had been there for 3 hours. The receptionist then proceeded to call the cops on her and lied on her saying she threatened them. Everyone in the waiting room heard what was happening, the woman was clearly upset but she in no way shape or form threatened anyone in that office. It was totally unnecessary to call the cops and extremely rude. I have been to this location multiple times and have had poor service every time from the reception staff (the nurse practitioner was very nice however once I finally got in to see her). I endured it because it is the closest location to me but I am here to tell you that driving to the Towson or Owing Mills location is definitely worth it to have better service. So basically, it doesnt matter if you have an appointment, expect to be here for at least 2.5 hours and be met with lots of attitude.

I read the reviews and was not only hesitant and scared. I was definitely there for quite some time, however I was always told why I was waiting and it was always for medication to do what it should have prior to the procedure. Everyone was constantly checking on me and made sure I was comfortable at all times! Thank you to EVERYONE I came in contact with. I truly appreciate everything!

Office was clean , Jessica C was wonderful, sweet and kind love her i most def will be coming back. Anything i needed from asking additional questions to making sure my medication was send out and i was able to reach out to her if i had more questions and addressed my concerns.

I’ve come to this PP various times over the years — and have experienced NOTHING but kindness and empathy. In particular, Candice who works at the front desk has been my ROCK for an entire week as I’ve tried to navigate insurance changes that made it hard to schedule a doctors appointment at first, and (through CVS/Walgreens’ fault, not PP) my refilled birth control script was sent to NY. Even without an appointment Candice helped me straighten it out and get my script sent to the correct CVS — which was supposed to be the pharmacy’s job, to contact my old pharmacy and get it ordered to them instead, but CVS blew me off. Candice took care of me/my issues with so much kindness and patience. Exactly the reason I love this PP in particular. Wish there were more people like her in the healthcare industry/world

I had the best experience at planned parenthood. I was a new patient getting a pap and STD screening and the nurse was so incredibly polite and asked a lot of needed questions and answered all of my questions. The physician was amazing. I have been to a lot of STD clinics and gynos and this by far was the best. I chose a later time in the evening to come in so that I wouldnt have to wait too long and they took me right in with minimal waiting time. The physician answered all of my questions and had such great patience for all of my care. I have gotten more information and knowledge about my care through this appointment, than I have ever gotten from any other gyno, STD clinics, or physicians. I would recommend this facility for anyone and am so happy with my experience.

Do not recommend this business. Find some where else. Just went Thursday and today is Saturday and i still dont have my prescription nor does the pharmacy. I called them three time about still nothing done. There is ridiculous long wait time for a 5min procedure. And yes the staff is rude i found myself getting smart with two of them. However the ultrasound lady, the doctor and the lady in the recovery room were the only nice ppl that knows how to talk to other. I even told one of the ladies she was the nicest person there; she was flattered and said i was the nicest for saying that. I prefer u choose wisely before using this location. This spot deserve 0 ⭐ if you ask me.Ps. All the nice ones werent of African-American decent. And yes i am black.

I went for birth control and everyone there was quite lovely. Not only were they extremely helpful and informative, but also had really good attitudes that made me feel safe. They helped me make an informed decision about what I wanted to do with my body and made sure I was in control every step of the way.

I really try to be courteous of planned parenthood. I really appreciate all that they do but a 2+ hour wait time for a yearly checkup is a little much. The staff has been very kind but everything is just so slow. Bring a meal and an activity because you live here now.

This place traumatized me enough that I was scared to see any ob/gyn or even a doctor for a while afterward because of how violated I felt and how scared it made me of medical services.I am 100% pro-choice- I have had many good experiences at other Planned Parenthood locations, and they provide essential services to the most vulnerable of us, but my experience here was AWFUL. I had made an appointment to talk to someone about semi-permanent birth control options, I was not 100% sure what I wanted (I was leaning towards a copper IUD) and wanted to ask a few questions to make sure it was the right choice and figure out what was covered by my insurance. I needed like ten minutes of her time to ask questions about what to get, what the procedure was like, and how to prepare. Instead I was treated like an inconvenience (though they sure billed me like they’d done me a huge favor).The doctor was rude from the minute she came in, she wasn’t interested in answering my questions, her attitude was basically “either I put in an IUD right now, or you get out and I go to my next patient”. Because I had moved from another state in the south and was still on insurance from that state, I was very concerned about cost and asked her if my insurance would cover it- She cut me off, sucked her teeth, and condescendingly said “obviously your insurance will cover it”.So she basically strong-arms me into getting an IUD *that day*- I was not prepared and I felt basically coerced. I had no ride home and no plan for the amount of discomfort and bleeding I experienced. She said it wouldn’t be rough, and that there wouldn’t be any side effects, when she was rushing me to get it. What a lie.Cue me walking 45 minutes home in the summer heat with severe cramps and bleeding, with no pads or anything.I’m glad I got it (and I recommend copper IUDs to people who can’t do hormonal BC) but it was very scary and I was a bit traumatized by that experience. For a place that claims to educate about sexual things -including consent- their doctors don’t seem to have much education on that. I know you’re busy, but we are human beings and we have fear, concerns, and a need to feel in control of what’s happening to our bodies.*Then* I get the call from them that I owed them over $400 for the IUD. I tried to explain to the woman on the phone that I was currently unemployed and burning through savings, dating an abusive guy who was using me for money, I had been promised by the doctor it was covered, etc. They hounded me with bills and threats of sending it to collections until I had to borrow money from a friend to get them off my back.It wasn’t covered by my insurance, because the health insurance bills that had been passed allowed for grandfathered-in plans from conservative/red states. Essentially my insurance plan came before the legislation mandating birth control coverage. That’s a common enough situation that she should have at least known to check before treating me like I was stupid for asking.An awful experience overall. I work in the service industry, I understand having a public facing job is hard and exhausting, but if you are so jaded that you can’t understand people’s fear and need for agency and consent in this situation, you should not be working at a place like PP.You’re supposed to be helping women feel in control of their bodies, regardless of income. Instead I got trauma, and a bill I wasn’t ready for and couldn’t pay, that I was condescendingly told wouldn’t happen.Specifically because of who PP is supposed to help, this is horrifying. Imagine if I didn’t have a friend I could borrow money from. Imagine if I passed out walking home. If I’d been a teenager, this would have scared me off engaging with my sexual heath at all. Do better PP.

Staff there was amazing! The medical assistant Candice did an amazing job as well as the nurse practitioner.

I went there petrified just to leave feeling relieved. All tha ladies that worked there were non judgmental & patient w/ me despite tha fact I was going crazy over tha surgery I was about to face. They were very attentive to me & I definitely appreciated. Thanx to tha ladies who helped me put my fear aside. Yall all are much needed❤

The only people I liked were the ultrasound lady and the man who gave me ibuprofen in the recovery room. One of the receptionist lost my id now I have to pay more money to get a new one afterwards. She kept saying she didnt loose it but I never got it back. She kept making excuses and lieing to my face about how she gave my id back so she didnt look bad in front of everyone. She didnt give me good information at the front desk and they never gave me my prescription for birth control. The absolute worse clinic you can go to. There was a fight while I was there between two women the cops were called and it stressed out the patients. If I were you Id never go to planned parenthood. They suck.

So everything was cool and nice during my visit today until the lady who I saw last who gave me the paperwork telling me about the bacterial infection which I believe came from using scented bath salts. She told me it was not a std. But that´s neither here or there she came out to the waiting area after she told me to pass the receptionist papers. As soon as I did n started to walk away she said ewww and proceeded to let the lady and the whole waiting area know I had an infection which by the way wasnt even a std. I dont know why she felt good about doing that and why she thought it was ok to treat me like less than a human. My experiences with everyone up until her was pleasant I can not believe that just happened to me it was embarrassing. Hopefully I will never see anyone in that waiting room again. I will be trying to find a way to reach her superiors because I don´t understand why she chose a job in that field if she wanted to shame people who came there for help.

Wait time is absolutely absurd. No direction in the office ... I waited one full hour to even be triaged even during the pandemic with literature stating that the wait time should be reduced due to covid. Plenty of employees and patients walking around with their nose hanging out of their masks. The receptionist will not stop coughing. Extremely uncomfortable experience.

Dont know why there are so many bad reviews.Came here for my abortion. Everything was well organized, informative, and the staff was non judgemental, understanding, and professional.I did wait a long time, but if you consider the amount of people in there, Im shocked it went as quickly and smoothly as it did. While the staff is kind and caring, my iud fell out (due to no fault of my own) and they forced me to pay for it. I hadn’t even had it inserted for two weeks.

Planned Parenthood Baltimore location everybody was super nice , and seem like they genuinely care about there patients ! , they have a good attitude and everything moves pretty smooth! ♥️

As far as the friendliness of the staff, all the woman there were pretty nice. And for the wait, I see a lot of ppl complaining, but with my procudure, they did say expect to be there for 4 hours. I was actually out in a little over 3. All that being said, that brings me to my horror story. I have had two abortions before (not with planned parenthood) and both times was actually sedated. For this all they give you for pain/sedation is some Tylenol, and an Adavan. 15 minutes after I take the pills, I get called back. I felt totally alert, and no different then I did before taking the pills. Maybe I was getting rushed through because I was the first appointment that day, with lots of other women behind me waiting. There where 3 ladies present in the room, so I dont remember the name of the woman who actually did my procedure. She was a short, thin, Asian woman. She was not gentle at all. She pinched my labia twice just inserting the speculum (something she could actually see well). Then the actual process began. I wonder if the medication to diolate my cervix even kicked in, because this was the absolute most painful thing I ever felt in my life, and Im no wimp. Ive heard other woman describe it as very bad cramping when having an abortion done without full sedation. Not the case for me at all. It felt like a sword stabbing me again and again. I was crying and screaming in pain. My legs would NOT stop shaking. It was the most traumatic thing I have ever experienced. I dont know if the reason for this was this womans heavy handed nature, or the fact none of my medications seemed to have kicked in (I surly started to feel them on the ride home with my boyfriend). Im scared this whole ordeal cause trauma to my cervix (since it was probably not diolated and just forced open), or some other damage. I found myself two days later in the hospital, for uncontrollable bleeding. Im talking huge chunks of blood. More blood then I ever saw in my life. I lost so much, I had to get IV fluids, and a freaking blood transfusion. I can only hope there is no perminate damage. Im so scared, and so stressed out. I do want to have kids one day, and thought I was making the right choice. I should have been more careful/done more research on the doctor doing this procedure. I hope this isnt something Ill have to regret the rest of my life, because it affects my ability to have kids. I am still pro choice, but ladies, please do research about your doctor. And maybe consider going somewhere else for an abortion, even if it is more costly. No one should ever have to go through this. I wouldnt wish it upon anyone.

Most of the staff was friendly and professional, went in for medical abortion however the procedure was not successful. To me the doctor didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing all the way she was talking into circles. Very disappointed will definitely not recommend.

Lack of care, compassion and terrible customer service from staff. If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend this place and I will never return👎

Customer service is horrible here. I came early for my scheduled appointment and still waited over an hour to see the nurse. Staff has an attitude and arent helpful. Another time when I came to get a refill, the receptionist said that for some reason the person in charge of prescriptions hadnt checked the voicemail all week and I had to wait for my prescription.

Dr.Kahn , Dr. Money Lulu and Ms.Tiffany were so amazing they made my experience nice. They were kind, concerned and made sure I was okay and answered all of my questions and concerns….highly recommend this facility 💖

Staff and escorts have always made my experience a great one! I love Planned Parenthood

The wait is BEYOND ridiculous. The staff was nice though but still they need a better flow.

I highly recommend this place. The employees were friendly and personable! All staff was very knowledgeable and nonjudgmental about any questions that were asked. Lastly the facility was clean and orderly.

Everything was ok when I went but I just called to ask a professional if random sharp cramping 2 weeks after a medical abortion is normal and he told me because it was 5:40pm on a Wednesday it is after hours and is not an emergency so I would have to call back tomorrow earlier.. But i was asking if the cramping was normal to try to figure out if it is an emergency or not he was just very rude

Slow Slow Slow, everytime . Like why have the option for a time to scheduled your appointment when they already know you wont be seen two hours after your scheduled time. Just sad, Last time coming here.

They are pretty organized and clean but the lady at the front desk has a bad attitude & the nurse doctor that I met with was very rude rushed me through my visit and also had me waiting hours even with an a appointment

I love the staff at the Owings Mills location. They so nice each and everyone on them treat me well, especially with my care.

This location has been professional, friendly and clean. Every time I have an appointment I grew in then I got out. Not much of a wait. But when it does get busy you will be waiting.

They are very good with patients, They keep your business being there very private as it should be, You are seen in a timely manner

Everybody there is so polite and nice. I had my problem solved in 30 min. I recommend this unit.

Bring breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Ive been here here since 10am and after 4.5hrs Im still waiting. Take your money and go somewhere else. Not worth the wait nor the customer service!!!

This Planned Parenthood on Howard St. Is extremely slow, expect to be here a very very long time waiting in the back and the waiting area! Too long!!!!!!! Never again!!!

I have been here four times for one appointment because of the lack of information I recieved each time I went.

Been here since 4 :40 its now 6:35 and Im still here waiting to be seen . Will never come to this location again. This is ridiculous

This is a very good place to get care for women, both doctors and other staff are friendly. The bad thing is its town is very ugly, its location I dont feel safe walking around it and it doesnt have parking.

Yesterday I called and they helped me today. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean inside, and all the service is very good. I would definitely recommend it.
