Advanced Gynecology of Tampa Bay

I just love it here. I have been a patient of Dr. Stine’s wife and loved her so much, I decided to go to Advanced Gyn for my regular visits. Tara is the sweetest and I feel like I can ask her questions without her being annoyed. She takes her time, is compassionate and very good at addressing concerns. Dr. Stine did a recent procedure and everything went well. The front office staff is always so nice and welcoming. If you are on the fence, pick Advanced Gynecology for your gynecological needs!

The entire staff is phenomenal. The front office ladies are super friendly as soon as you walk in the door. The medical assistants are also smiley and welcoming. The nurse practitioners and physician assistants are fantastic, making me feel comfortable from the first visit. Now let’s talk Dr Stine…. I knew I’d love him and that I found my surgeon as soon as he came in and let me know his patients are like family to him, and he’d always do right by them. Dr Stine is knowledgable and knows his stuff!! He was spot on with my diagnosis from my first visit. My surgery was flawless and I was cleared today for regular activity. I can’t thank Dr Stine enough for fixing my broken parts. No more pain for this girl!! If anyone is questioning if this is the surgeon for them… ABSOLUTELY YES HE IS!!

I’ve been seeing a different gynecologist for nearly two years with no results, no relief and I was turned away because these are what they deemed to be considered “normal” for people of my age. I almost lost hope until I had no choice because of my pain to seek out another doctor. It took Dr Stine and his staff 3 weeks to diagnose me. I’m definitely in the right hands now and am so grateful for their kindness, thoroughness and support the past few weeks. I’ll be spending some time here over the next few months and I’m so thankful for this team!

I wanted to cry happy tears after switching to this office. Tara was very patient and took the time to listen to me when I had concerns or questions. She gave me tons of background knowledge to help me understand what’s going on with my body and talked me through different treatment options. Absolutely one of the best doctors office I have been to. They have been absolutely amazing helped me with an issue that I had been dealing with for years and had been to other doctors with little to know help. Dr. Stein and his team were able to determine and resolve the issue completely within a few months. I now feel 100 times better than before and my quality of life has improved massively. I have had the most amazing experience with this office and would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know. Also a plus the office feels like a spa always smells amazing and is very clean.

Excellent experience. Professional staff. I didn’t have to wait long at all! I was prepared and brought a book for my midday appointment. Dr Stine arrived in my room shortly after the MA took my information. I was in and out of their office within 35 minutes! I couldn’t believe it!Dr Stine was incredibly professional. Thank you!

First GYN office (including clerical staff) that has treated me like an actual human being rather than a walking insurance claim. Dr. Stine is thorough and proactive. That should tell you all you need to know. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Stine and what a nice professional doctors office. Dr. Stine was very attentive and listened to my concerns and provided his professional advice. He was on time for my afternoon appointment and did not make me wait. His office staff is top-notch also, very friendly. Definitely found my new GYN physician who is caring and not a huge association, where all you are is just another number. Highly recommend this doctor and office.

My experience at Dr. Stines office has the best. Everyone in the office is kind, professional, and helpful. My most recent experience, Ten stars for Tara, nurse practioner. Tara was compassionate, understanding, and empathic to my situation. I felt heard and she provided a warm environment. Dr. Stine was very helpful and provided important information for a better decision making process. I am appreciative of all the staff.

1) If you are on a budget or living on a fixed income, be advised, you may not want to waste your time here. Even though they say they accept your insurance, Dr Stine, choses Not to allow you to use your insurance for certain services. Instead you must pay cash prices for you to serviced at His surgery center in office if you need, not want, anesthesia. $500.00 to be exact plus your normal co-pays on top of that.2) Patients with previous issues having anesthesia or neurological chronic pain issues would be forced to pay his surgery center and anesthesia fees or find another Dr that understands why certain procedures should, in reality, be done in a hospital setting because that may, in reality, be in the Best interest of the Patient. Drs take an oath to Do No Harm. I will not put myself or his staff in a position to do harm. Furthermore, Dr Stine is apparently more concerned with making the most money off of patients instead of taking the utmost care and precautions of the patients seeking help.3) Tara, you were very helpful in making my decision... so to you, Thank You!

I gave 5 stars because from the moment I walked in until I left the entire staff was so professional and friendly. The front desk greeted me and got me checked in quickly.I had Tara for my exam, her professionalism and knowledge was very impressive. She was patient, a good listener and answered all my questions. Tara really cared about what I was concerned about and I felt I was in good hands. I did not feel rushed at all, and she addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend her. It’s hard to find an exceptional medical team and office staff.They have it here! The office is also very clean and comfortable.

I had the same OB for 40 years until he retired. Being a patient of Dr. Jessica Stine she told me her husband was opening an office. I was so excited, willing to wait to be able to see a Dr. Stine the last couple of years. Hes very polite, professional, and easy to talk too. Highly recommend. He knows the answer to every issue. The whole staff are wonderful and treat you great.

First met Dr. Stine at an old practice years ago, when I found out he opened his own practice and not only that but so close to home I was so excited, this man is such a great doctor! Don’t hesitate visiting him for any of your gynecology needs.

My first experience at this office was phenomenal! The staff was very sweet and Dr. Stine was awesome! He was so informative, he’s very personable- he made me feel very comfortable like I had known him for years even though we had just met, he made me feel like he understood my needs, and that he is gonna help me get there! I have struggled with infertility for five years and these types of appointments don’t go well for me typically, I usually feel defeated but this time was so different! I left feeling like there is still some hope for me and he’s the guy to help me through it!! I am excited to see what comes of being a patient here!!!

All the staff were very nice. I didnt have to wait too long. I was hesitant to see a male GYN, but Dr. Stine was very friendly and caring, and he explained my procedure, what to expect, and even some insurance stuff very clearly. So glad I finally found a good doctor!

I am a new patient at this clinic, and it’s exceptional to say the least. The office is clean, the ladies are super professional at the front desk. The service is spot on and there super quick. My appointment was at 10:00am and i was back at my car at 10:28am. The nurse was nice as well i will continue to be seen at this office and location.

I appreciate the positive aspects of your practice, such as the PAs excellent service. However, the front desk and billing experience left much to be desired. Being informed of a $470 payment just two days before a scheduled appointment, blaming it on New Years, and the unprofessional communication over the phone were disappointing. Its crucial for the staff to uphold professionalism to ensure patients trust and a positive overall experience

I had a really great experience with Advanced Gynecology of Tampa Bay so far. From booking my appointment, the front desk check in experience, to my actual appointment. They got me in for my first appointment very quickly, which was great. The front desk girls were so sweet and made the check in process easy and smooth. My appointment with Tara, the nurse practitioner, was awesome! She was so sweet and explained everything to me in an easy way to understand. She listened to what I had to say and took my concerns/issues very seriously. I have not seen Dr. Stine yet but judging from the interaction he had with his employees while I was there he seems very nice/sweet which makes me feel at ease for my appointment with him. 10/10 highly recommend for anyone looking for a gynecologist.***edit***I just wanted to add to my review now that I have met Dr. Stine, he is AMAZING. Everyone here is so nice and caring. I have had a few appointments now and every one has been great. They are always so thorough with everything and always explain everything in terms you can understand, they take the time to listen to you which is awesome. They don’t just dismiss what you are going through like so many medical professionals do. I am so happy I found this office! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I had my first appointment here yesterday. I was a bit nervous going in since this was my first fertility consultation. Dr. Stine was amazing! Hes very personable and understanding. He actually listens to what you say and gets the full story before going to the next step. I am looking forward to future appointments here.

Doctor Stine is the best doctor there is. I was constantly dismissed by hospitals and multiple doctors for my endometriosis symptoms for several years. As soon as I met Dr Stine he made me feel understood, comfortable, safe, valued and important. He truly cares about all his patients and will do anything to help them. In a few months he set me up for surgery & took out my 2 cysts while saving my ovaries! He is kind, funny, knowledgeable, honest, respectful, friendly, caring, and dedicated. His staff is amazing as well, very sweet and gentle, they always make you feel so welcome and cared for. I’m so blessed and grateful I found Dr Stine, he changed my life completely. I’m now able to live my life pain free because of him! Choose him you won’t regret it!

The doctor himself is fine but Ive been woken up by phone calls 2 days in a row and NEITHER OF THESE PHONE CALLS NEEDED TO HAPPEN. STOP CALLING ME AND WAKING ME UP. The staff are sadly some of the least friendly and competent people I have worked with and when I speak to people about this practice I hear similar things about staff behavior.

Couple of bumps, but it’s a doctors office lol! Overall great !! No procedure is fun at all, but I felt heard and comforted the whole time. I was fighting tears before and during my removal just cause of my nerves & he helped me through it!!Only bump worth mentioningHard to get through to the nurse station, I understand it’s busy, but you could miss their call , call right back & no answer or return call till the next day. As they get busier hopefully they can get more help in that area.

Dr. Michael Stine and all of his staff (from the front office staff to the nurses to the nurse practitioner) are absolutely amazing!! Ive had nothing but a positive experience. Dr. Stine has the most amazing bedside manner, culturally competent, an excellent physician and just an overall genuine and authentic person. Dr. Stine and his staff are incredibly patient and allowed me to ask a million questions when I was preparing for my surgery. I would highly recommend this practice. You wont regret it.

Absolutely love Dr.Stine! He did my Hysterectomy and explained the whole process from beginning to end. He makes you feel so comfortable and very easy to talk to. He really cares about his patients and his office is amazing as well.

Can’t recommend Dr. Stine enough. He is very caring with his patients and has great bedside manner. I take my own family to him and will never go anywhere else. I’ve had some nightmare experiences at other gynecologists in the past but Dr. Stine will do whatever he can to make you feel calm.

Dr. Michael Stine is hands down the best GYN ever! I wish I would have found him sooner. Im done with my childbirthing years and started surgical menopause, which has been difficult to navigate and was unhappy going to an OBGYN group that I had my children with because they were not helpful. Dr. Stine created a custom menopause plan & walked me thru various treatment options both holistic and medications and I felt finally heard. He even went as far as referring me to other specialists to make sure the whole me was being treated. He went above and beyond all my expectations and I feel so blessed that I found him. Thank you soooo much!!

Dr. Stine is the best Gynecologist because he makes me feel comfortable and I trust his expertise. I never feel rushed when asking questions and he thoroughly discusses risks, benefits and alternatives to treatment options. I also like that he does all his own procedures so I don’t have to be referred to some other specialist for care. I have referred all my friends and colleagues looking for a GYN!

My appointment was with the nurse practitioner and I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She listened, explained and had such empathy. I needed some additional thoughts and met with Dr. Stine as well. Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about him!!! I am in my 50s and can say it has been a long time since I have encountered an office that cares.

Wonderful Staff all around! They are patient, kind, empathetic and truly care about your experience. You are not just a number. They are well versed, extremely knowledgeable and take time to explain everything necessary to your situation. They leave no stone unturned.

I’ve only seen Dr Stine twice thus far; however, he is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. His presence is very welcoming as soon as he walks into the room. Dr Stine educates properly and listens to any concerns you may have. Sometimes going to the OBGYN can feel worrisome and “embarrassing”. His staff and him make you feel at ease. I could not be happier with my experience at his office.

I recently got new insurance and was looking for an Obgyn that accepted my provider. I left a message and the staff called me back right away. The front desk was friendly and efficient and got me in the next week as a new client! I saw the nurse practitioner who was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. We had a detailed consultation about my concerns, testing, and potential treatment options. Later, I had blood work done and explained that I don’t do well with blood draws. They took me seriously and the medical assistant, nurse practitioner, and doctor all were present during my draw. I did in fact nearly pass out and they rushed to the rescue and got my levels back in check. The nurse practitioner even gave me her personal snack from her own lunch and stayed with me until I felt comfortable to get up. I’d be remiss to leave out that the doctor himself is very funny and personable. I’m 32 and never in my life have I had as good as an experience as I did today. If I could give the doctor and staff a million stars I would. As a patient, I couldn’t be happier and as a business owner, I couldn’t be more impressed.

This was my first visit in the last four years to have an exam. Dr Stine was excellent in his care. He put me at ease and explained everything to me on an issue I was having and put me at ease that it was normal aging. His knowledge and mannerisms were excellent and I would recommend him very highly.

Been going to Dr Stine for many years now the staff is always great and the care I have received over the years has been great. They have taken really good care of me.

Everyone is so nice and polite! I did not wait long to be seen and the Dr. Was very helpful in explaining everything to me. The only issue that I had was at the pharmacy with one of my prescriptions but that was taken care of. :)

My mom is a patient here. They treat you like family the girls at the front are friendly, always have a smile. The doctor, I dont think there are enough words to describe how amazing he is. My mom doesnt speak English but he goes out of his way to make sure she understands him. They are excellent!!!

Finding a good dr especially for women’s issues seems to always be a struggle.. but Dr Stine thankfully goes against the norm and treats each person like an actual person vs just a file. I’m very glad I found him to help me with my PCOS and Endometriosis. He’s very knowledgeable, patient, and above all, he listens. Highly recommend

Dr.Stine has really made a huge difference in my life. He was my second surgeon that I wish I would of seeked attention from first. Fibroids all gone! No more feeling like I look pregnant when I am not. He has great hands for surgery and wonderful bed side manner. Also has a great sense of humor. Dr. Stine is wonderful. He takes his time explaining things and is very understanding. His staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable.

As people, I think they are wonderful, and wish them all the best, but a training or two in bedside manner is worth the time.In my experience, self advocacy is not something this practice will support. They assume is it is yelling and hostility, where in reality people are entitled to answers about their bodies. Also, if someone is a little more of someone who needs to have answers in a reasonable amount of time (like if you have OCD like this person) this practice will likely not work for you, it’s because this is a small practice who just cannot provide the services of a larger hospital.There was more than one situation I was not feeling heard, as well as feeling “mansplained”, or disregarded, or there was no empathy behind what they were saying. If you are delivering bad news, you have to have a level of compassion.
