Dr. Stewart was INCREDIBLE. He made me feel safe, listened to, and so much less overwhelmed. He has compassionate and smart bedside manner and was personable while always being extremely professional. My husband and I wish we could stay with him for the entirety of our pregnancy. All of the nurses and staff were also kind, smart, warm and attentive. Highly highly recommend Dr. Stewart and his team.

I went to Dr. Stewart for an egg freezing consultation. I’m very nervous about this process. Dr. Stewart was very informative and made me feel comfortable. I feel more open now to this process. He seems to really love his job. He prides himself on being the only doctor in his practice that does all the monitoring for his patients, which is important to me, as someone who is nervous and wants to be with their doctor through the process. I am really happy I chose to come to him for this potential procedure. Highly recommend.

I had one video call so far with Dr. Stewart and it went well. He took the time and didn’t rushed as he explained the IVF process to me. He was very thorough and clear in his explanation. The most amazing team! Everyone at Dr. Stewarts office is kind, diligent, responsive, informative, and patient. I have never had to wait when arriving for a scheduled appointment, and Dr. Stewart and his nursing team are always willing to speak and answer any questions I may have.My nurse, Molly, has been incredible. Shes been so empathetic and helpful during my cycles, and even provided her own step-by-step handouts for administering my shots at home. Dr. Stewart and his team are so warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable sharing my personal details during this vulnerable time, which can be extremely difficult with doctors. Each team member was knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions or acknowledge my feelings. I purposely waited to complete this review to make sure I could give a well rounded review. I completed multiple cycles with Dr. Stewart and each time I felt reassured that they had my best interest in mind. I was apart of the plan and the whole team from Dr. Stewart to the nursing staff to the front desk representative developed a plans just for me. Front desk when scheduling my appointments, nursing with follow-up, and Dr. Stewart with taking into consideration my wants when putting together my meds. I have to say I would recommend this team 100 times over. Even when we were unsuccessful they were very supportive. The only thing that would make this office even better would be additional supportive services, like a social worker, or therapy for patients, support groups, yoga.... something.

Dr. Stewart seems always in a rush. for someone who had multiple failed IVF cycles, I have questions and concerns, however, he rarely responds his email. when asking him in person, he always said that he has to go to the next meeting and rushed through the questions. the institution seems treating patient as a number. I will not recommend him or weill cornell.

Dr Stewart is one of the most kind and caring doctors we have ever met. There are so many times where you just feel like a number to these doctors but never with Dr Stewart. He always went out of his way to talk to us whenever we didn’t understand something and didn’t get the results we needed , when we all know it’s rare to actually speak to a doctor sometimes. If you are looking for someone who will listen and be with you every step of the way, Dr Stewart is the right choice. Oh and his staff are amazing, I’ll never how amazing steffan was when I was trying to set up my first appointment with them. We are forever thankful for Dr Stewart and his staff.

Dr. Stewart and his team are diamonds in a haystack. Dr. Stewart has the perfect blend of knowledge, compassion, consideration, and technical ability that makes him an ideal provider for anyone going through the IVF journey. I heard horror stories from friends who felt unsupported during their IVF process. I was impressed with his team’s commitment to excellence, kindness, and flow. The team always sees me on time and the office is immaculate. Every team member knows what’s going on and they make patients feel valued - which is rare to come by these days. I highly recommend him.

I would give more stars if I could. Dr. Stewart is so kind and patient and thorough and very mindful of how emotionally tolling it can be to go through an egg freezing procedure. His staff is also very organized. His assistant Stefan went through the insurance process very carefully with me and it is clear that everyone in the office is very empathetic and diligent. I’m so pleased I found them and that they were taking new patients. My colleague who is single and in her late 30s as well just went through the egg freezing procedure with Dr. Stewart and raved about him to me. I now see why!

Dr. Stewart is one of the best physicians I have ever worked with. From the moment you walk into his office and are greeted by the fantastic staff, you know it is going to be a great experience. Meeting with Dr. Stewart himself was an overall excellent experience. He is extremely thorough and descriptive in what the treatment plan will be and any possible outcomes. In my first consultation appointment we spoke for an hour about my concerns and his plans for us, did an ultrasound, and a full bloodwork panel to have a thorough understanding of where to start without any delay. He is so well spoken that at the end of our appointment, my husband said he couldn’t even think of a question that he had not already answered. He follows up very closely and personally, rather than just having you go to another office location, which I also value greatly. Every aspect of my care with Dr. Stewart and his team has been exceptional. In what can be an emotional, vulnerable, and time intensive process you feel seen and heard, and cared for. Each appointment is thorough, while also being efficient. Molly and Annie, the nursing team, are thoughtful and informative in their follow-up calls, and truly know you as an individual patient. Dr. Stewart’s is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the fertility department. He is up to date with new research and has come up with a plan specifically designed for each patient. Believe all of the 5-star reviews here, they are 100% accurate!I did want to cover a few aspects in my review that others haven’t touched on as I know that I thoroughly read all reviews when trying to decide on a doctor.This was my second fertility clinic after being a patient at another very well-known practice. I left after spending (wasting) almost a year with them, as the experience was very chaotic, unorganized, and left me feeling like I wasn’t being given the best care. I walked into Dr. Stewart’s Brooklyn office ready to aggressively advocate for myself after having less than stellar care at the aforementioned practice. Turns out that wouldn’t be necessary! Dr. Stewart appeared, a young, fit, attractive doctor – and this threw me off. Where was the old guy with white hair that has spent 30 years helping countless intended parents have babies? I was nervous. Five minutes after speaking with him I realized this was a ridiculous notion – he was so confident and well informed that when I was finished meeting with him, I saw his being a younger doctor to be a complete asset. Up to speed on the latest medical research, comfortable helping patients that perhaps sit outside what used to be considered “traditional” parents.You will see couples and intended hopeful parents of all colors, shapes, and identities in the waiting room, and all are treated with respect and get the very best medical care from Dr Stewart and his team. A VERY important point that I would like to make is that Dr. Stewart and his entire team are Size Friendly. A few years ago, walking through this world as a fit athletic person, I could not have fathomed how important something like this would be. The last few years I have been navigating life as a newly obese individual, which has been challenging and traumatizing in more ways than I would have imagined. My weight has NEVER been an issue here. It has NEVER been highlighted or questioned or made me feel “less than”. With a BMI of 40, many other fertility practices will have limitations for people of my size. Weill Cornell is not one of them. But not only do they “accept” patients that look like me, they offer us the dignity and care that we deserve. They have used a larger blood pressure cuff on my arm without muttering “oh hold on, let me get the bigger one”. Makela is an expert at seamlessly stretching out the tourniquet to wrap it around my sizeable upper arm. They don’t have me weigh in on appointments, or make me feel like they notice me taking a few extra seconds to push myself up on the exam table.. I can’t tell you how much stress this has alleviated from an already emotionally draining journey.I will say, that the “vibe” is different in Dr. Stewart’s Brooklyn office, versus the UES main campus office where you will invariably find yourself on a weekend when you are unable to be seen in BK, or when you need COVID testing, etc. You will find yourself waiting among a sea of women and couples, and can often feel like you are taking a number at a deli counter. That is balanced out by the fact that you know Dr. Stewart is the one reviewing your chart and charged with your care. No matter how harried they are on the UES, you will soon be in the comfort of Makela’s phlebotomy chair, or on Dr. Stewart’s table. Steffan at the front desk is on point, and is a true office professional. He knows the ins and outs of the practice, and is always a resource. The nursing team (Annie/Molly) are wonderful, and answer all questions with unending patience. I will cover the hospital IVF suite nurses/professionals in a separate review, but they are also fabulous and committed to delivering the best care and experience for patients.

Dr. Stewart and his team were incredibly caring, knowledgable, and hard working throughout the time that I was in their care. The office is run very well, I never had to wait and never had difficulty getting an appointment. Any question I had was answered promptly and fully. They helped me sort out the tricky business of insurance, pre-authorizations, and other billing issues. Dr. Stewart and his nursing staff have impeccable bedside manners, which is key. It was a winding road and they helped me at every step of the way. Anyone would be lucky to be in their care.

I have never been more impressed with a medical facility, doctor, or team in my 35 years. The entire process has been organized, professional and with a bedside manner you could only dream of. I looked forward to going into my appointments to see the happy faces that greeted me and care that Dr. Stewart exuded. Truly, the attention I received made me feel as though I was the only patient on his mind (albeit there being a full waiting room). Not normally one to leave reviews, I cannot overstate how grateful we are to be under the exceptional care of Dr. Stewart and his team. Like many, the infertility diagnosis was not something we anticipated when we set out to expand our family of 2, and we had no idea what to expect, especially during Covid times. Dr. Stewart has guided us through our diagnosis and then the IVF process with top-tier professionalism and consideration. He is straightforward and manages expectations well, which really counts given the uncertainty of this process. After discussing my experience with friends undergoing IVF elsewhere, I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon someone we regard as a gifted physician.

I hesitate to write this review because I dont want to create unreasonable expectations for Dr. Stewart, or for people who are trying to conceive, but my experience with Dr. Stewart was nothing short of miraculous. My journey with fertility has been long, painful, and frustrating. Yet, just a week after our initial consult with Dr. Stewart, he performed an IUI, and now Im pregnant. One week. After being outright dismissed by other REs who seemed turned off by the complex nature of my case, or told Id need several painful procedures before moving forward, Dr. Stewart was able to clearly lay out my options, the potential risks and outcomes of each, and treat me with empathy and individualized care. Working with Dr. Stewart and his team was a complete night-and-day difference from the experience Ive had with other doctors. Sherrell and the team who run his office are crisp and professional, yet treat patients with warmth and care. The nursing staff are wonderful, I felt super safe being treated there even during Covid, and everyone seems genuinely invested in their work and a positive outcome for their patients. I am blown away by Dr. Stewart. My only complaint is that hes ruined all my managed expectations for other healthcare providers!

Amazing Doctor. I usually avoid men doctors just for my own comfort level. But he has been so freaking awesome. Patience, understanding, knowledgeable, informative, respectful,responsive, etc. He makes you feel like he really cares about helping you achieve your goals and dreams. Dr Stewart came recommended by my OBGYN at Weill-Cornell as I was looking for a fertility specialist in Brooklyn. Dr Stewart is absolutely PHENOMENAL - he thoroughly explains everything (all the tests, process), meets with patients at length (he did every ultrasound), is incredibly calming and optimistic. He will work as fast or as slow as you want. I was also incredibly impressed with his office staff and nurses - everyone is warm, friendly and extremely organized. Sarah, his nurse, who calls you with day-of blood results is so wonderful and really spends time answering your questions. If you are looking for a fertility dr, I would run not walk to Dr. Stewart. He is one of (if not the best) doctor I have ever seen in NYC. I was so sad to leave his practice when I graduated at 8 weeks pregnant.

I was extremely nervous to see a fertility specialist. I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I spoke to Sherrell I knew I had chosen the right place. They were able to see me right away. When I walked into the office I was greeted by the same friendly face that greeted me on the phone. The wait time was no wait time at all. Lastly, the doctor was great. He took his time , made me feel comfortable , and was very empathetic to my situation. Upon walking in my whole mindset “I can’t wait to figure out what’s wrong with me “ , and Dr. Stewart erased that idea from my mindset into how can we fix this. That to me is priceless. I’ve had my share of doctors , but I’ve never encountered an amazing doctor like him !

Dr. Stewart made IVF as smooth a process as we could have hoped for. The whole team is warm and professional, and visits at his office were fast and efficient. We had a great experience.

If you are in Brooklyn, run (don’t walk) to see Dr Stewart. He is an extremely patient and caring doctor and was not bothered when I got another opinion at another clinic in NJ. He is also very knowledgeable, hard working, and observant. After a failed cycle and cancelled cycle at the other clinic, Dr Stewart figured out I was ovulating every other month and finally had me on a cycle where I responded positively to the meds. (Whereas the other place wanted me to wait as one hormone level was at pre menopausal levels). He also did my egg retrieval, and I felt fine afterwards with barely any cramping. I’ve noticed that the staff, nurses, and other doctors have nothing but great things to say about Dr Stewart. I also was able to email him which I really liked. Although my cycle ended up with a chemical pregnancy, I am happy I made it one more step further and confident in Dr Stewart’s game plan going forward.

Dr. Stewart is one of the best doctors I’ve came across recently. I was looking for a fertility doctor and with a thorough google search I came across Dr. Stewart. Being diagnosed with PCOS many years ago, I was just told I have it, but no doctor has ever thoroughly explained to me what it is and how it affects me. Dr. Stewart explained everything to me in terms I understood. By the time he was finished and asked if I had any questions, I did not, because he touched on EVERYTHING In detail. I honestly was feel a bit scared and just in my own mind about what to expect etc. Let’s just say Dr. Stewart was amazing. Professional, straight shooter but sincerely optimistic, you can’t fake this. I felt as though I was/am in the right place with a dream team.
