Had an absolutely lovely appointment at Brooklyn Gyn with Yvonne Greenfield. Everything was a breeze, the front desk staff was welcoming and sweet, I didn’t wait long to see the sonographer (who was also a sweetheart). Yvonne took the time to actually talk to me about my options, and I finally felt heard during my appointment. I walked out feeling like I might actually get some relief from something I have been dealing with for too long and that has been brushed off by other practitioners. Really happy I found them and I plan on going back

I had a wonderful visit at Brooklyn GYN Place. The staff were super friendly and the facility was clean ! There also was not a long wait time to see the doctor. I felt very comfortable with Yvonne Greenfield and she was able to address my concerns. They listened attentively to my concerns and provided personalized treatment that yielded positive results.

I am so happy I chose this place to do my robotic laparoscopic surgery. The staff welcomed me with a smile, addressed all of my concerns, and made sure I felt comfortable with proceeding. They made the entire experience stress-free and I appreciate it endlessly!

I had a HORRIBLE experience here. They gave me a male doctor after I had told them over the phone I was nor comfortable with it. They told me to come in for a follow up appointment after my annual check up. When I called them day of the follow up appointment they told me they had no record of my appointment, even though they booked it for me in office. They then told me to rush over in 10 minutes or they couldnt see me. When I arrived, I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes. I then was given mixed information about my medical records in person and was not emailed them as I was told I would be. They have withheld these records from me ever since.

I can recommend Dr. Rainer as the best specialist out there! He did my cervical biopsy, kept clear communication with me, explained the results, and made sure we had nothing to worry about. Very personable and attentive doctor.

I was highly recommended by my friend to come here. I booked my appointment on Zocdoc. They take majority of the insurance. Prior to the appointment I filled out all the information on zocdoc. When I come to the office I didnt need to fill out any forms. The office is very clean and smell so good. My appointment is at 11am and truthfully not much of a wait time at all the ultrasound tech called me in right away. It was an amazing experience for me!

Needed to see someone quickly, they were able to fit me in day of which was great but I had insurance issues. They told me that this issue should be cleared up in three days, but sometimes health can’t wait for three days.Insurance issues is a frustration for all Americans, which is totally understandable, unfortunately, I just felt patronized with the usage of sweetie etc, luckily, I was able to be taken care of elsewhere.

The staff members are so nice, especially Nadia. She’s an angel. Always making me comfortable and answers all my questions.

Dr. Rainer did my endometrial ablation procedure. The job was done perfectly well and I no longer struggle with abnormal bleeding! He was very kind, patient, and compassionate towards me and I cannot recommnd him enough to others!

Got my complete obstetric care prenatal care with Ericka-Quezada-York. She is very caring and attentive and open to any questions. Loved my visits! 👶

If you were to ask me, I would say that Dr. Rainer is the best at what he does! He performed my laparoscopic surgery and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional!

I’ve been rocking with Dr. Halstead and Dr. Green since I FIRST started going to a GYN. (Flatlands Days) I love her practice and her staff. (The lovely sonographer from Ukraine) and I’ve even seen the male doctors and I love how informative he was when I expressed my concerns.My overall favorite is Dr Green. love her so much. I will continue to go here because I am comfortable.However, during my pregnancy. The midwife erica and the front desk staff had horrible attitudes. My daughters father even got into an argument with her because she was super dismissive. When I went into labor I didn’t bother to call her because she is a headache to reach and deal with.Anyhow, I say that to say I have experienced many different staff members over the last few years BUT the new front desk lady Nadia is amazing. I automatically knew that she was new because her energy was great and welcoming and that’s not usually expected at this office. She brings and amazing energy to the office and she greeted me with a smile. Although, I knew the procedure of checking in she still walked me thru signing the paper and submitting my urine. She’s the best so far and I’ve been goin here for yearsssss! I hope she stays ❤️❤️❤️

The doctors are great.It’s the reception that give me unnecessary attitudes when I’m trying to cancel or reschedule. They harass you to make and keep your appointment, then when you get there on time, there are tons of people who go ahead of you as if you weren’t there first.Those receptionists have the most nastiest attitudes and dispositions, mainly on the phone. In person I’ve matched that energy purposely- and watched them digress. I’m sick of it. I really don’t want to go back but the doc I need to do my procedure is great. I’m thinking about going elsewhere to do the removal. I’ve been a patient since 2011/2012, I’m really over these receptionists at 142 Joralemon.

Rapid HIV testing was quick and easy. Results were ready in 15 minutes, staff was the sweetest 💪

From my experience, this is the best office in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, well-organized, skilled, and understanding. I did my annual examination here and it was a breeze. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others at all times!

I love being treated with such care, and concern from my physician. Usually, when good test results come back I don’t get the pleasure of getting a phone call to discuss good results in detail. I was nervous at first when I recognized the number. Phone calls from physicians is usually bad news. It was a relief to get a good bill of health phone call. Also, I’m going through menopause weight & she gave me information from her own experience that worked for her for me to follow. Which meant a lot to me. She is very personal and that makes me feel safe. ❤️❤️❤️

They would lie!! During my appointment I found out that I was pregnant. This was in May of 2022. I went for my next appointment and I finally went to see the midwife she lied and told me that they don’t do prenatal care. And I believed her until I remembered that there was a lot of pregnant women sitting in the waiting room! I just said ok and left! Would never go there ever! I felt so horrible after I left the office.

My first impression was that they care about their patients and staff. They require masks and keep an exceptionally clean lobby, and the rooms inside were also clean. The doctor made me feel so seen and gave me lots of explanations and the proper amount of compassion. Ive always been anxious about meeting new doctors, telling a stranger my medical history, and risking them being unprofessional. But she made me feel comfortable talking during the annual examination.

Thank you for the service. It was such a good experience, and I would love to introduce everyone I know to the office. Love you guys.

This place is terrible. Not only is the wait time always bad even when you have an appointment, they do not explain that certain services they automatically provide for you,without you asking, just so billing can charge you extra. I went in for an annual exam two weeks ago and they did my annual as well as two other services I was not aware would cause me to have to pay because I was not informed; If I was l, I would not have let them perform those tests on me. Then, they make sure that you have to come in to get your results so they can again bill your insurance and make you pay w.e co payment it is. I am highly upset and will not be going back ever again.

The staff is very welcoming and warm-hearted. The office is exceptionally clean and well-organized, so youre in and out quickly. The doctors are very thorough and caring, and no question is a stupid question. They truly know how to make an uneasy situation very comforting. Thank you all for your hospitality and kindness!

They carefully listen to the worries presented, and Ive never felt embarrassed or humiliated that they would judge or dismiss my problems. Its difficult to find a decent Doc, and here they are one of the finest. Thank you for making my appointment run well.

I moved to the area recently and was recommended to come here for my gyn annual exam. I was blown away by the care and professionalism. The office is amazing, clean, and fresh, and the staff was very personable. My appointment went great, the doctor was gentle and took the time to answer all my questions, kindly repeating the same stuff again and again. I will definitely come back, I really liked it here.

The doctors at the clinic were very nice and supportive, but the lady at the front desk who answered the phone to discuss billing was very rude. She even hung up on me after I had trouble understanding what she was saying. Not recommended.

I’ve been coming here since i was 19 yrs old and i am 35 now, i wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Halstead and all the midwives are awesome. Both of my prenatal care was done here when having both my kids. The staff is friendly down to earth and polite they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend anyone here really great establishment.

Update: Service has gone down hill big time. Staff is lazy and rude. Waited 30 minutes for appointment before discovering they forgot to check me in. Even though it was thier mistake, I was still placed at bottom of list and was told it’s not their fault it’s busy! 90 minute wait AFTER my appointment time just to get a prescription refill. Insane!GYN never returns calls. Have to travel there and just show up in person to ask the most basic questions.Sooo happy I found this place! After reading the reviews I thought it was too good to be true, but they exceeded my expectations! My appointment started on time. The nurse/sonogram tech was thorough and made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Yvonne is amazing! She was patient, detailed oriented, sympathetic and kind! She made sure I completely understood what was going on, as well as all my options. I also really appreciated how far she went into detail about how things work and really took the time to ask every question I had, and I had a lot! Really glad I found this place. I feel like I’m finally on the road to reclaiming my health!

Dr Yvonne was very kind and compassionate. Appointments are always available but it seems like they double book themselves, there’s always a long wait and a full waiting room. Waiting for 40 min past your appt time was the norm.I was referred to the fibroid specialist in the office, Dr. Youshko. He made a comment essentially body shaming me, saying I was “not that skinny” when I was asking a question about scarring from surgery. What a tone deaf comment from a male doctor who will never know what it’s like to experience fibroids. I’m sure 90% of these women, including me, are already battling the physical effects of fibroids and hormonal imbalance which include weight gain and fibroid belly. I went to Weill Cornell instead, after this comment was made I did not feel comfortable having him as my surgeon.

Loved Dr Yvonne Greenfield ! she’s really nice, kind and caring definitely will make her my personal gynecologist. Staff was great and friendly. Clean office too highly recommend!

Just had my annual and I was so impressed by the front desk and staff at Professional Gynecological Services at the Joralemon location. I was greeted with a warm welcome and my experience was so pleasant. Yvonne was so nice and quick with the assessments and Dr Rainer was so caring! He answered all my questions and I found him very knowledgeable and professional. I have peace of mind having an exact plan for Pelvic Floor Reconstruction now, and looking forward to improvements.

This place is the worst. This place will have your waiting 3 or more hours and sometimes it’s 2-3 people waiting . They have your urain out in the open for anyone to see it. The girls in the front especially Shakira are on their phone and very rude.expect When you get to the office they never have your documents or something wrong that they could of told you over the phone .

I’ve been coming here for over 4 years, and I trust them completely. I went through a hymenotomy with them, and ever since come here for the smallest issue. The team treats me like a family, and my appointments are always on time. I cordially recommend them to anyone.

I visited this office for STD screening and found the clinic to be efficient and professional. CM Asya Portnaya conducted the diagnostic tests, including Rapid HIV Testing & provided me with quick results, ready in just 15 minutes. This was a deluxe OB/GYN experience. Yvonne was an excellent practitioner who made me feel at ease and was personable and very quick and gentle while performing my pap-smear. The clinic was thorough with a urine test, the option of an ultrasound to check my ovaries and uterus and a blood test upon request.The reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is that the clinic has an advertisement for vaginal rejuvenation surgery located next to the exit which doesnt jive with my values. It was also quite cold in the waiting room, my bad for not bringing a sweater, and the wait is about 45 minutes with an appointment before you see anyone.

No wait time, my appointment started at exactly 4 o’clock. The staff works diligently to ensure you have a good experience. My annual exam went well. Thank you for the extensive care and service.

Dr. Greenfield is an amazing doctor. During my pregnancy, I switched to a few different doctors, but she turned out to be the best one. She performed a 3D Ultrasound, and I was able to see my baby. I highly recommend her to all moms.

Dr. Grienfield is a caring, attentive and knowledgeable doctor. Ive been a patient of hers for several years, through two pregnancies and a recent hysterectomy. She always takes the time to explain all my options and listen to my concerns. My surgery was smooth, and I feel well cared for by Dr.Grienfield and her staff.

I initially left a 1-star review for this office after experiencing a 3 hour wait and being called back for the wrong doctor (scheduled to see Dr. Youshko).While this did not leave the most positive first impression on me, later that evening, the office manager directly reached out to ask what happened and sincerely apologized for the experience. There seemed to have been an error with my Zocdoc booking vs. what showed up in their system, resulting in some kind if confusion with my appointment.This was very considerate and kind of her to do, and definitely changed my feelings on my experience. I’ll be giving this place another shot for my future appointments and will update my review as necessary.

Dr. Ericka-Quezada-York was kind and attentive. I was uncomfortable seeing a new doctor, but she talked to me so nicely that I forgot all about it and told her everything on my mind. I totally recommend her!

I have been coming to this provider for 3 years. I really like Dr. Portnaya and feel comfortable talking to her about anything. Is very important to have a good relationship with a doctor who knows you and treats good as a patient.

Please trust all bad reviews of this place. I had never been moved to write a review until I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this office. Upon my entrance, the front desk personnel was highly condescending and spoke to me as if I was incompetent when it was my first time ever visiting. She handed me a urine test with little to no explanation of what they were testing for; however, there is a sign stating that all patients are required to take a urine test.. which is whatever. Overall, the entire office has a rude and condescending aura.Then I proceeded to a room for a transvaginal ultrasound, and that woman was one of the vilest people Ive ever encountered. She didnt introduce herself, say hello, or manage to say anything beyond take off your clothes. Lack of bedside manners is one thing, but this experience was incredibly dehumanizing. Ive seen cattle being treated better. In addition, she didnt even have the decency to step out of the room and wait for me to undress, and despite my visible and vocal disturbance, she decided to proceed as if I was inconveniencing her. She did not mention what she was doing for the purpose and didnt even allow me to view the screen.I have received transvaginal ultrasounds on many occasions, but none as degrading as this. When I winced in discomfort and pain as she shoved the instrument up my vaginal canal, she became enraged when I asked her to be gentler. Once the procedure was finished, and I asked for a tissue or napkin, she suggested I wipe myself with the coarse exam table paper I was just sitting on for my ultrasound. The female doctor I spoke to was no better and had limited interest in my care until I mentioned the possibility of wanting surgery. If I were you, I wouldnt waste my time with this practice; theyre many better options in the city that serve you and provide proper care without reducing you as a human being.

Dr. Greenfield is an excellent doctor. Shes confident, competent, and diligent; she cares tremendously about her patients and their well-being; she always calls back and follows up no matter how busy she is. Dr. Grienfield recommended I get a diagnostic mammogram that saved my life. The office staff is friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Grienfield, the team, and the clinic for new patients.

I love my doctors. I usually go to Dr. Asiah but I kept missing her. I recently had a visit with Dr. Greenfield and she was so sweet and gentle. Im not a fan of doctors office but I have been dealing with these doctors for a few years and theyre very informative and professional. I definitely recommend them for ob/gyn care.

Two years ago, I had problems controlling my urine. So, I sought out help from my OBGYN. She explained my situation and what would cure it, a bladder sling. I had the surgery, and I have had no other problems since! I went for physical therapy, which helped me get back to work. They are kind, helpful, and very professional! I recommend this practice, and dont be afraid to make yourself a better life without pads!

This office is amazing! They were super efficient and quick. I was there to see Dr. Yvonne who by the way is awesome and I love her. Her previous location the wait was minimum 2hrs but here at the Brooklyn GYN place I waited no longer than 20 mins to be seen. It was so quick I beat the meter I paid for!!!! I came here specifically because the doctor moved to this office from Flatlands, even though its all the way across town from me. She is always so nice and makes you feel comfortable. The girls at the front desk are great too. The only issue I had was the wait. My appointment was at 5 and I wasnt seen untll after 6 but what could you do about that, Im sure itd be like that at any doctors office.

I totally recommended Yvonne Greenfield she takes her time to explain the next steps and her recommendations makes me feel like I know her for years. I came for my annual check out. The front desk staff excellent like always

Ericka Quezada York is a disgusting person who verbally assaulted my mother by yelling to the point where an administrator had to intervene. She truly made me feel scared to be under her care. She apologized yet had a very nasty attitude the entire appointment and even slammed the door to her office so hard that objects on her desk were shaking. I have never felt so afraid for my safety with any doctor before. I would rather deliver my own baby at home than to ever be under her care again. For weeks I was told by her that my hyperemesis was normal. I didn’t get prescribed the proper medication until I was 17 weeks after months of weight loss and hospital visits. If you are a young, black woman please do not go to her. She does not care about black patients and is verbally abusive.

My wife went here for a procedure that we were both very nervous about, I cant say enough about the staff and Dr. Portnaya. While my wife was with the doctor, the wonderful people kept me informed and comforted. Its nice to know people still care about more than pushing around papers around. Highly recommend.

Saw Doctor Kaufman for the first time she was very friendly and knowledgeable. So easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable!I was paying out of pocket rather than insurance and my total at the office was $120- no big deal. A few weeks later I received a bill in the mail from the lab for $760!!! I was absolutely shocked. I assumed there would be some sort of lab fee, but I had no idea it would be anywhere near $700+! Later that day I went to the gynecology office for a follow up exam and spoke with the office manager, Michelle, about the $760 bill- I understand that the office is NOT the same as the lab, but I wanted to know if they had any idea of how to get this bill lowered. Michelle was so helpful and immediately texted the rep she knew at the lab and was able to get my bill lowered to $90 within minutes. I’m so grateful for Michelle and her help- thank you!

Started coming here about 2 months ago and it is a great Gynecology office. Everyone from my OBGYN to the people working at the front desk are so friendly and are very helpful and accommodating. Came here to get an IUD placement and although it’s a very uncomfortable procedure, everyone made me feel so calm and at ease from start to finish. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Rainer was excellent! He was thorough and compassionate, and kind enough to help me find a great surgeon (who took my insurance) to perform my cystectomy. Three other doctors had misdiagnosed my reasons for infertility. It wasnt until the skilled woman operating the ultrasound machine at Brooklyn Gyn Place found something different and showed it to Dr. Rainer, then I got some real answers!

The team is FABULOUS! I came for permanent birth control consultation, and I was amazed by how soft and informative everyone was. Yvonne was the best, very welcoming and not judgmental. 5 stars from me.

I went to get a uterine polyp removed. The stirrups were adjusted for someone tall. The woman ask me to slide down and I did as much as I could. I ask that she adjust the so I could slide down she said the would move me when I was asleep. Now today my neck and ribs are so sore I can barely take it! They had to push my head up to the bones in my chest for it to hurt where it does. Arm hurt all night and right ribs feel cracked. Appointment was at 9 I got taken back at 11:45 ridiculous service. All nurses were telling everyone to wear the mask all the while they had theirs down around their mouth. Rude a crude staff. Very bad experience! Terri Daniels

The front desk receptionists were very rude, and almost all of them were not wearing masks even though they required others to. Also they have a very dirty bathroom.I had an appointment for 11am and it took them more than 5 hours just to tell me they wouldn’t take my insurance even after one of the receptionist told me to call my insurance company. I called my insurance company and she said I did have insurance, and I’ve had been for months. These people wouldn’t give me the time of day, they just shut down and told me they weren’t taking it. The representative of my insurance company gave me her number and extension to give to the office, said she was happy to talk to them. When I tried to give the receptionist the number she said “I’m kind of busy right now.” And dismissed me. I waited another hour before I was even able to ask to give her the number. Upon leaving, very frustrated, I asked for results from my pregnancy test she told me the result out loud for everyone to hear, when everyone else was taken into a private room and given a piece of paper. These people are passive-agressive and rude, so please do not give them your time of day.

Worst gyn ever! I went for an annual and only got a basic pap smear done. No STD testing, not even sure if a pregnancy test was done, nothing! When I asked why after the fact I was told because my insurance doesnt cover anything else. This shouldve been said to me from the beginning. (I checked my insurance and that wasnt the case either) No follow up appointment was given for my results either, I had to call to ask if they were available.

Been going here 14 years and everytime I receive amazing service. The Drs are amazing and do their best to ensure you receive the best care. You can ask as much questions as you want and the receptionist are welcoming and professional. I walk in with a bad day and they help my mood to change. They even remember you when you revisit. They also listen to your concerns when you call the office and get you the best help. Thank you professional gyn place.

Dr. Yvonne was great but I started to see another doctor at this location and the experience wasn’t the same. After a couple of visits with the new GYN I decided to start searching for a new location.

This was my first time at BK GYN. I could NOat have been more pleased. the staff was supportive, kind, thorough and nurturing. I truly felt like I was in good hands literally and figuratively. Thank You.

Outstanding service. I did cryosurgery here and the process was smooth. I did not feel much pain and recovered without any complications. I can definitely recommend Yvonne Greenfield as one of the best there is!

UPDATE (3/2/2022):After paying almost $500 at the office across two visits, they continue to bill me. They show no record of my payments at the office and no credit on the statements that I keep receiving in the mail. This place is a nightmare. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.DO. NOT. GO. HERE.I made an appointment online and I was super excited that I had found a Gyno near my apartment. I wish I had read the reviews before. I get there and wait 45 min even though there is NO ONE in the waiting room or the exam rooms that I can tell. All the staff are just chatting in the back without their masks on.I go into the exam room and had the fastest pap of my life. Seriously like 5 min. She didnt even ask me if I had an concerns or pains, etc. She told me that if I didnt hear from her that was good otherwise if I got a call it meant that my test results were concerning. CONCERNING. So anyway flash forward two weeks, I get a call from the office and I call back after the voicemail said it was the provider calling me about my test results. I have called them multiple times a day since then unable to get ahold of the provider to learn more about my concerning test results. Im not sure why they think its okay to make a woman wait 4 days now with still no answer. Finally this morning Im able to get a person on the phone and she informs me that the first time the provider can chat with me is THURSDAY. This will have been a week since their voicemail. I will definitely be going to another gyno going forward.This is ridiculous. They do not care about you as a patient and are just trying to get as many visits as possible as quickly as they can.

This place is very professional. I honestly like how empty it usually is. The doctor is professional and makes sure you go to your future appointments and get all the tests done. The reception desk is amazing and gives me my appointments always on time and in an efficient matter.

This is my second visit, and I was not disappointed. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in and my ultrasound started right on time. Couldn’t ask for a better service. Working with Ericka is always nice.

Gyn is somewhere you want to feel safe. You are vulnerable at this moment. They did not make me feel comfortable at all. The doctor and staff we rude and unwelcoming.

One of the worst practices ever, sadly I was a patient at the other location until the service became to much of a hassle rude workers an unpleasant DR’s who don’t listen to your concerns ! Thought switching locations would be the answer however it’s no better! Made bad choice should have changed physicians when my DR left .

Avoid this place at all cost! I saw Asya Portnaya for prenatal care and was told verbatim that a loss of this pregnancy would feel like I was “bleeding to death”. She was unhelpful providing information and condescending. I was not given sufficient information during the early stages of my pregnancy. I was told to “eat whatever you want” and not given guidance about traveling with an early pregnancy. When trying to transfer to a competent gynecologists, the office staff made it nearly impossible to transfer my records knowingly that I needed to see someone urgently because of my condition. It took multiple calls and ny new gyno office to call and demand my records for them to do their jobs. Overall a nightmare experience and extremely unprofessional given the sensitivity of their work.

Honestly Ive been coming here for about 1-2 years and I really like this office and staff, they accept most health insurances. sometimes it a long wait time but they typically work in a timely manner

I never new about this office until I was looking for Dr. Youshko who was my ob/gyn and now gyn. He is amazing and responsive. Dr. Youshko is also professional and very informative.The office is clean and the staff that I came across was respectful and professional. Keep up the good work.

My colposcopy procedure was easy and smooth thanks to their staff and the doctor. I felt comfortable and did not have to worry about a single thing. I am very pleased with my time here today.

Ive been to this place about 3-4 times and its not good. The wait times are very long, most recently I waited about 50 minutes (I had an appointment and had arrived 10 minutes early) before I got into a room, then I waited another 15 minutes after being put in a room by a nurse. The previous couple times the wait times had varied between 15 - 40 minutes, usually skewing on the longer side.Also, they arent great about getting back to you with your results. They followed up on a test about 4 months after it had happened and said theyd tried to call me before about it, but I hadnt seen voicemails or anything from after my initial appointment.Ive seen maybe 2 different doctors here and theyd each been really different. One of them was very very rushed and clearly overworked, the other was much more relaxed and spent more time answering my questions.

This place saved my life!! I had a totally different GYN that I went to for years, but then when my gastro told me he felt a mass in my belly, I wanted to go to get a second opinion and this place is the best!! Michelle helped me get in to see Dr. Asya Portnaya ASAP. I explained my situation to her and she understood the severity and took it very seriously and handled in such a efficient and timely manner. If not for Michelle, I wouldve never gotten to see the doctor so fast, she was my plug and I am so grateful to her for taking such excellent care of me. They are so professional and take extra good care of their patients, which is everything these days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Dr. Kelley Halstead is one of the best OB/GYNs around. Her incredible knowledge and skills and her empathetic manner were crucial during my last pregnancy several years ago. She worked with me to calm down all of my fears and concerns, especially given the three miscarriages I had before my third (and last) baby. Dr. Kelley carefully guided me through long-term and permanent birth control options and made sure to answer all of my questions. I am really grateful, and I feel lucky to find my ob/gyn I completely trust.

Been coming here for 2 yrs now, they are always sooo welcoming and helpful. All the ladies in the office are always so sweet and caring. The staff and doctors are very attentive and I have never needed to wait any longer than my set appt time. ITS GREAT!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LADIES!!

I started going to this GYN when I was 20 years old. I dont know why I continued this long. There are times where I am waiting to see a doctor for almost two hours!!! They do not apologize for being late nor does the receptionist have the courtesy to inform the doctors that patients are waiting. They also do not call or email your results, most of the time your are left wondering or will have to find out with your next appointment. I have been seen by at least 5 doctors here and none of which I would recommend. One doctor has an unkind demeanor she does not make you feel good about any situation presented before her. Another doctor told me that she would give me further advice via phone call so I wouldn’t have to pay unnecessary co payments, and when I was unable to reach her, she lied and said she told me to come in and see her. Overall I would not recommend this GYN. The two stars are given simply for the cleanliness and office decor.

This place has changed name and joined the professional gynecology services clinics network. I am not sure if it is up to the new clinics website fancy description. The doctor I saw was nice, professional and patient for my quick annual exam.But the place is quite small. Hard to maintain social distancing during this pandemic. The front desk staff and associates were not wearing masks for the 1 full hour I was made waiting although they talk to so many people everyday....I was a bit worried about their safety at some point...

Ive been a patient here from the day it opened, following Dr. Rainer from the HIP center he use to work with. That was over 15yrs ago and Im still here because the staff is wonderful to me, the office is clean and the doctors r great. This place will always b my choice and Ive recommended it to many women over the yrs and still do to this day.

Dr. Portnaya was impatient and didn’t seem to want to listen to any of my concerns. The total time she visited me (first time visit) was probably under two minutes. I wasn’t given any warning when she inserted the speculum nor did I know I was getting a Pap smear. I felt ignored and like nothing that I had gone in for was addressed. It’s too bad because her staff was very kind.

The staff here is the best! I was greeted by Magdielle and Dilya are the sweetest receptionist. I recommended my mother and sister.. Dr Asya was super kind and very thorough with her evaluation. I will be coming back again.

Absolutely horrible place. If I could give 0 stars I would. The main doctor in the office changes every day, so I never saw the same person. Completely unprofessional place. Weird room set ups. They do a routine check on blood work, urine, etc for your first visit and they told me they would call within two weeks if anything came up as abnormal. They never called me (and no, I didnt miss it, I answered every phone call even if I thought it was spam just to see if it was their number...AND they never left me a message). Months later I go back in to refill a prescription and when they look in my file they go oh we tried to reach you, something came up on your tests. Lies. So then I had to have biopsy on some uterine cysts to see if they were cancerous ones. They said results would be back in a week. A week passes. Now this time, I call the office a bunch of times, because apparently the doctor wasnt in and she was the only one who could tell me my results, and they said she would call me when she was back in, but she but she never did on numerous occasions. So I called every day, twice a day, for almost a week until they finally told me my results. Great. Then a month later I get a call out of the blue from them, telling me they have my results ready from my biopsy? They forgot they already told me, and they were late to tell me anyway? So clearly they are disorganized, unprofessional, and literally put their patients lives at risk. Unacceptable. I am asking for basic GYN health care and I couldnt even get that. Also no one was mean but I wouldnt sing praises about their customer service/bedside manner either.UPDATE: My new gyn informed me that the biopsy I got from this office, which was an incredibly painful and intrusive procedure, is typically done with local anesthetic. It was never offered to me as an option. Absolutely no regard for health and safety in this place. So upset. Also they charged me hundreds of dollars for visits/procedures/Rx that I later discovered should have been 100% covered by my insurance. Literally robbing you and leaving you out to dry.

Wish I had read these reviews in advance! This office is terrible - its TINY, old, dingy, and definitely no social distancing happening between waiting patients. They need to open a window!! The staff didnt have their masks fully covering their nose/mouth/chin the entire time which is so unsafe. I waited for over an HOUR to be brought into an exam room. All in all, I was there for TWO HOURS. They tried to charge me a copay for my annual exam which is free. Also, I booked via ZocDoc to see a Dr. Kaufman who DOESNT EVEN WORK THERE ANYMORE. This place is a hot mess. AVOID!!!!

The 1 star is for the front desk staff they were pleasant over the phone and in person.I have only been there for 1 visit and will no be going back. The place could use a good scrubbing, first thing I noticed in the waiting area as well as the exam rooms. The nurse that does the sonogram is so Cold and short with her interactions during the exam.Dr. Asya Portanaya (the gyn) doesnt seem to want to hear any concerns, explore options or answer questions. I didnt feel like I was in the hands of people that cared about my health and donot feel like I was treated with dignity on the exam table.

Let me start by saying, the midwife i think her name is Erica is amazing. I had to change my place though. The main front desk girl is so nasty, rude and not attentive. I went there a month ago for prenatal care she put me down as a regular visit, mind you it wasnt my first prenatal appointment. I waited about 3 hours to be seen, she let the sonographer go home. It was an important check up which needed blood work and ultrasound. Long story short the midwife actually stepped in gave me peace of mind and did the US for me. Im a health care professional, i know how overwhelming it can be but leave ur troubles outside when you clock in you dont now what patients are going through.

My annual exam was completed in a very timely manner. I received a detailed consultation and left sure that everything was going well. So happy I found this place. Highly recommended.

Amazing STAFF & AMAZING DOCTORS I want to start off with Ericka the midwife she’s amazing and very caring she makes you feel comfortable, Doctor Halstead did my C section and it went very well. The C section cut is healing very properly doctor Halstead is a GREAT DOCTOR very caring and also wants to make sure you are prepared for your new life , although she may be strict she is very GOOD MATTER FACT SHES AMAZING AT WHAT SHE DOES GREAT DOCTOR CANT DENY THAT

Both the nurse practitioner and Denise at the front desk were extraordinarily exceptional. I just moved from Miami and having to find all sorts of doctors, dentists, hair, nails etc is a task all on its own! Very professional work place environment and top notch hospitality.

The gyno was great! She offered Emotional support and the office checked me for everything with quick test results, took our my iud, and even told me ny thyroid was high!

A good office to come to for ob/gyn services. Dr. Ericka is the absolute coolest and the staff are so nice. Wait time can be a little long on some days, but the waiting area is comfortable and there’s music and outlets to keep you occupied.

I discovered this GYN office by mistake. I was actually on my way to another GYN location once I reached here I thought is was the place. I was told Im at the wrong location but that they would see me since Im already there. I was very excited about that. The staff are very pleasant and the place is extremely clean. OMG, I love this facility and a life saver. I needed to get in to see a gynecologist, had many difficulties finding one to take me ASAP. I called Brooklyn GYN and what you know they took me right away. When I arrived the facility was clean, friendly and very professional. They had me fill out my questionnaire upfront and online so when I get there I just signed in and was ready to be seen. I FREAKIN LOVE THIS P!!!LACE. Also to top it all off and u saved the best for last all the ladies are very beautiful and sweet youn ladies. Love me some of them. I would definitely recommend!!!!

The staff is extremely friendly and polite. They are very accommodating and understanding. I’ve been going here for about 3yrs now and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a Gyn home. You would not regret coming here. Months after my July 22 appointment, I just received a $600 bill for an annual exam that is normally completely covered by my insurance because they tack on a mandatory ultrasound (?) for every patient. (I wish I had thought to refuse it--I am young and healthy with no preexisting conditions so there was no medical need whatsoever, but I was just so stunned at the insistence and put on the spot). To add insult to injury, I had the first appointment of the day and the receptionists showed up 10 minutes late; the office was dingy and outdated; and the doctor I had booked into see on ZocDoc no longer even worked there--I never even got the name of the doctor who examined me. Avoid at all costs.

Me personally I like these people the best gyn I been too. Where ever they go or move to I most definitely will be following.

A horror of an experience. I waited for over an hour for my appointed and the sonographer, an older lady, who wasn’t busy was an absolute nightmare. I will never go there again.

Hands down this is the best place for all my gynecological needs. From Dr. Yvonne to the sonographer to the lovely and helpful ladies at the front desk, they care and make sure each visit is comfortable and informative. I am truly grateful for them all.

I almost never write reviews, but to warn those who want to come here, I am doing so. I went in for an annual exam, and consented to an std test, only to be billed by the lab for $150 WITH insurance. Also didnt get results for 3 weeks, and had to call to inquire twice. They are not great with custimer service nor do they seem to really care at all. These routine tests are free at PP. Dont come here.

This was a very good experience. It was not crowded as women related services tend to be. The place was very clean. The staff were all respectful and engaging. The hot tea after the procedure was a very nice touch.

This place is terrible. The staff are rude and incompetent. I waited 1.5 hours for my appointment, only then to be told to go into the examination room and get undressed... and then they left me there for another 45 minutes. I actually had to call reception and tell them I was in the examination room, BECAUSE THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME. Its so bad its funny... but not funny.I since have battled with them for 6 months to try and get my medical records and they keep putting me on hold and leaving me hanging. Honestly, do not go here.

I am so happy I found this wonderful office! Staff is super friendly, they took care of everything from A to Z for me, which made me not only feel comfortable, but showed me they are on top of it all, I seen Dr. Asya she was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns, highly recommend!

The midwife was nice enough but I had made an appointment with a physician who I never saw. The chart was apparently going to be signed off by a Dr Dorfmann who I also never saw and I have no idea who that is. Not happy about the bait and switch despite confirming the appointment. The appointment was made through zocdoc. I don’t know if the issue is on the app’s end or the office’s end but they should get it fixed.

Ive been seeing Dr. Greenfield for almost a year and I have never been rushed through my appointments. She makes me feel 100% comfortable and answers all of my questions!

I have no problem with this place ! I love the ppl there but it’s the fact that I’ve been coming here for so long and certain things are not cover with my insurance. It saddens me that i have to go to another GYN to get the services that i need, i feel so comfortable where I’m at and i just feel things like this shouldn’t happen. I’m very upset !!!

This office is so so so clean. The staff is very helpful and very professional. They get you right in, when you need an appointment, and that’s a big plus for me . I’m from New Orleans and this is my place to come in when I fly to New York.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came in two weeks ago and the doctor no showed. Now Im here again. Was supposed to be seen 30 min. ago and luckily I asked when I was going to be seen. There are four people ahead of me and the doctor still isnt here. Update: This happened at three different visits. Never again.

My experience was terrible. I had many questions about my body & the doctors literally shrugged me off like I was there for no reason. None of my questions were answered and & they would not allow me my privacy to speak to a doctor about my body.

This gyn was very fast and convenient. Front desk was able to get me in for a appt last minute and very helpful. Staff and provider were also welcoming and attentive with everything.

I wish I could give zero. They will send you to a facility that performs abortions for a routine biopsy. I figured I would give others a heads up since they make no mention of it during scheduling. For the record I personally am not against abortion I just think it’s something that should be told before hand as a trigger warning because you can literally hear the vacuums as they are performing the procedures. My appt was scheduled for 10am. It was a very long wait I was done until 12:45pm. The doctor was apologetic, but not that friendly. she was very straight to the point and that’s it

I don’t like the manager she is very rude and nasty but overall Yvonne is the best of the best thank you god bless you

Very professional been coming here for years.They treat me very quick and the staff is amazing and very courteous. Also the office is very clean They take precaution. Which is a great deal.

They will charge unnecessary services to your insurance, there is no consultation just an exam and send you on your way. It’s was like an “a” clinic.
