AHF Wellness Center - Brooklyn

I had a great first experience here this past week. Testing time was super fast. Steven who handled my testing was so sweet and made sure to share every detail along the way. I really enjoyed meeting him. I’m happy I came here as I felt very welcomed.

The front desk lady named el is extremely confrontational every single time I call no matter what it is for. She also has complete access to everyones medical records and used mine against me yelling at me didnt you use to have syphilis? I asked her why she asked me that and she stated cause Im looking at your medical records. How rude! She refused to get me her supervisor. She is not a doctor or even a nurse and she should NOT have access to everyones medical records let alone try to use it to shame a patient! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT PRIVACY it doesnt exist. Shame on AHF WELLNESS BROOKLYN!

If you are a person of color I really hope you see this. I felt so disrespected and neglected by NP Sarah Zuercher. She did not listen to my needs and perscided me medication I did not ask for or needed for my health concerns. Please find another doctor.

Dude, honestly, as far as completely free healthcare goes this was one of the most efficient and professional testing experiences i’ve had in my life. Even better than a lot of citymds and urgent care facilities. If you’re looking to get testing done though do try to get there closer to the time they open up. On days when very few people come in the one test technician will head home early around 7pm, even when the site says they’re open until 7:30pm.

The staff are super friendly, though Im sad that the receptionist isnt allowed to sing anymore. It made the atmosphere more relaxing, than just sitting in silence like the typical doctors office.

Nice people overall (phlebotomist was extremely rude). I still can’t create an online account. Was told I would get a callback after they investigated, but they never called back.

Thee BEST doctors office in all of NY. The professionalism, the care, respect, and friendlier. You will never find another office like this.

These people are doing God’s work and should be given medals and awards!!! Everyone is nice and friendly and professional. Don’t listen to the impatient haters that are waiting for FREE services.

Honestly I’m giving this such a poor rating due to the nurse practitioners poor communication skills and uncouth mannerism. However, the other staff members were delightful.

This place is a great resource for the community. They remember you and give you great care.The lines are long but thats what happens when you do great service but are underresources.
