Chai Urgent Care Boro Park - Brooklyn, NY

I strongly recommend going to a different urgent care. This one sent the wrong prescription to my pharmacy, then sent another wrong prescription ... when it finally sent the prescription for the correct medication, my (trusty and reliable) pharmacist took one look at prescribed dosage, freaked out about the dangerous level, and called the urgent care to lessen it. I shudder to think what would have happened to me if she hadnt provided oversight! Do not take the risk of going here.

The atmosphere is clean and has incredible staff. They took me in right away. If you want to be seen quickly with efficient care, I highly recommend. I also noticed that they’re very welcoming to children. They have little giveaways that made the children happy. Thank you again!

Was taken in immediately after I had dealt with shortness of breath. The two assistants, doctor, and lady receptionist helped me quickly and efficiently. Was dealing with a respiratory infection for a week or two until it really became serious due to the weather and asthma. Medicine and shots were given. They were patient and very understanding, explaining a lot of what was happening and why. Thank you so much.

Second bad review Im leaving here in less than a week. Waited over 40 minutes now and still no pa to see. They keep losing clients. No wonder why people keep walking out after waiting a while. Im so disappointed!

This is one of the best urgent care center I have ever been to. From the moment I walked it it was clean, quiet. The receptionists were very helpful and polite. The medical assistant was great and the Dr. was amazing. I didnt wait long and didnt feel rushed. I received a call today from there with test results. I love the promptness. I will be coming back and definitely telling friends and family to come here as well. Thank you Chai urgent care.

No one calls you after your testing horrible place and when you call the next day after 24 hours no answer

This is the best urgent care that I ever visit itwaiting time was 1 minute youre in and out the doctor and the nurse were so professional definitely recommended!

Mean and extremely rude staff! I called the receptionist, he asked me what was the reason I was coming in, once I explained he asked me to come in. He thought he hung up but he did not, he started laughing with his colleagues about my illness! He was mocking what I had told him and my accent. him and his coworkers were laughing and joking about me. Soon, I walked in, the staff didn’t even acknowledge my presence! I couldn’t even breathe properly, that’s how ill I was. I had to immediately leave the hospital because of how mean and racist they are. Please avoid

Very rude front desk lady. Throw insurance cards back at you and was on a personal phone call with headphone while checking in. trouble understanding her and gets annoyed if you ask her to repeat something. should take some english classes if shes going to be medical front desk

I’m not sure if you could call this a true “Urgent Care” if they don’t have a doctor on-site. I got here at 8am to see a doctor and was turned away. The man in the front told me that I would have to come back at 2pm because they only do COVID testing beforehand.That’s important, valuable information should be on the website, right?Make it make sense.

Came twice to this location for rapid testing. Plus side there is no wait! Cons-the nurses or admin doing the rapid tests are quite rough and impersonal. I get tested on many occasions due to my job and the people who work here need to work on their interpersonal skills-to be specific they just walk in stick a huge stick up your nose and give no eye contact or even a hello. They were so rough my phone dropped to the floor. I am not surprised no one goes there.

I had a great experience at this urgent care in late December. I had to get a last minute covid test early in the morning before my international flight. Every other urgent care in Brooklyn had a 3+ hour waiting time for covid testing since it was the peak of Omicron in NYC. Chai Urgent Care only had a 20 minute wait and sped up the process for me so I could make it in time for my flight. Thank you so much to the staff!

I only came here once to get tested for covid so I cant speak to anything else, but my experience was great. I came in with my dad to get the PCR test on a weekday night at 9pm - there were a couple people coming in and out but virtually no wait, we just had to check in as new patients since it was our first time visiting. We were out in 10 minutes and received our results by 11:30am the next day.

Practitioner was extremely dismissive and condescending. Without introducing himself, doing any kind of exam, asking me any questions, or even fully stepping foot in the exam room he misdiagnosed me as having a uti (im not even having symptoms of a uti). Made weird unwelcome comments about my fertility. Oh, also, they DONT DO REFERRALS and as of yesterday their imaging equipment is broken. Staff were not wearing masks or were wearing them around their necks which is a huge red flag for me. Front desk people were super nice but thats about the only favorable thing I can say. Dont waste your time and money, go somewhere else, especially if you are a young woman with a potentially serious problem.

The medical attention is seriously not professional. They claimed that they called in prescription for antibiotics and then asked if it is delivery or pickup so they were explained that regardless a prescription must be sent otherwise no delivery or pickup can be made and was hung up on.March 1: calling to get test results and being disconnected multiple times

Chai Urgent Care is a great place in case of an emergency! Their newly renovated facility is spacious and beautiful with great friendly customer service! Two days ago I got hurt, walked in and got stitches done on the spot with no waiting time! Great team of doctors and nurses there. Recommended place.

Great Service! I took a COVID-19 PCR test at 10:00 PM on a Saturday night and the results were sent to me by 9:00 AM the next morning! The testing process was quick and efficient. From when I entered the Urgent Care until I left was under 10 minutes. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.If you’re there on a Wednesday between 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM you can be assisted by P.A. Moshe Perlman who will make sure your visit is as comfortable as possible.

The front office staff were friendly and polite. Looked after me in a timely manner and worked well to make sure everything went smoothly. I was only there for a COVID test and arrived with an appointment right at opening so no wait time for me.

I went here on a Saturday night around 10pm in the summer and was out in 45 minutes. It gets pretty packed but I think its mostly because clients are family-oriented, coming with everyone. My doctor (or PA, not sure) was quick but attentive. They were able to give me medicine before I left to avoid having to go to the 24-hour pharmacy 10 minutes away.

Most unpleasant medical experience in my life I got at Urgent Chai Care. Back in April I had covid symptoms and I went to rapid center for CPR test and it came up negative. I had a video call appoitment with Teledoc doctor and she suggested me to go to the closest Urgent Care facility to do the blood work and got tested on urinal infection as well, because of all type of symptoms that I had. Closest one for me was Chai Care. I went there for tests and I have not received follow up call from them when I was expected, but since I was stressed out to know why I am feeling so sick I checked test results online in my chart. Results were unexpectedly shocking for me, I was reactive on Syphilis. I called them to get more information and for treatment. Unfortunately I dont have names of employees I spoke with, but who picked up the phone, she said test results are good. When I told her that what I see Is different, she asked me to hold on one minute, when she got back to me she silent her voice and half whispering said I have bad test results. That stressed me out even more, I asked her if can I come to get more information in person and to receive a treatment. She said she needs to talk to doctor first. He with very professional and confident voice told me that they cannot provide me with the treatment and I have to go to see my doctor. I explained that waiting time to my doctor will take couple month and that i feel sick and I need help now. He just repeated that there is nothing he can do. That was sad experience, I understand most of their patients are religious, she probably silent her voice, because she did not want to scare them with that word, they might be religious too, but they are still doctors, and they have to help every patient, no matter what religious or ethnical group they or their patients belong to. This is less painful part of the story. As I expected I got appointment scheduled with my doctor just in July. This was long waiting time and a lot of stress for me. In June I decided that I cannot wait longer, it is too much to wait one more month knowing what type of infection I have. So I went to Mount Sinai Comprehensive program clinic with test results I got at Urgent Care. Right before my first treatment shot I got my blood work and other tests done again. When I went there for my second shot I found out that I was not reactive on Syphilis. If you dont know anything about Syphilis, I just want to let you know that once you got it, it shows in test results entire life, even after treatment. It means I never had Syphilis. I got treatment for disease I never had. I dont even know what to say, I dont judge people and dont I dont label them. But if you read this you can make your own conclusions.

Everything went fast and smooth, came to this office to do the COVID test, was free in 10 min the max. The only problem is a parking in this area. Tried to find the spot for 40 minutes, gave up and parked on a hydrant in front of the office🤷‍♀️.Update: it took 5 days to give me my negative result, it’s too long I think especially when you need to know as soon as possible, instead I had to isolate myself until I got the results.

I had a 2nd degree burn on my entire Forearm from a frying pan grease accident. Here I am on a Sunday 10:30PM Chai urgent care is a 5 minute walk from my home. When I arrived I was greeted by very professional staff and was seen by a Dr no more than 10 minutes later. After tending to my wounds and a Tetanus shot I was back home 10 minutes later feeling better and with 2 prescriptions in hand. Not only was this a incredible visit and I was well taken care of by Knowledgeable and personable staff my entire Urgent care visit was 30 minutes door to door. Awesome medical staff and I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Chai for helping me and making me feel better.

The doctor was horrible, he looks was sleeping and almost no want make his work, why the people study for be doctor if no have real vocation?…Go make other work and give your place to other person who want work, be doctor is not for everyone. Horrible experience….if you really want care your kid, no come here the attention was very bad.

Walked in two times for Covid tests. Everyone there was helpful and courteous. They answered my questions, and really made me feel at ease at a stressful time.

Took an Uber to Chai Urgent and upon arrival the waiting room was immaculate. Smell very fresh, staff was very nice. I was seen within 15 minutes of filling out the e-forms. Dr. LeFuge ( I think I butchered the spelling of his name) was AMAZING! Communication was clear, very thorough, listened attentively.Well oiled machine this place is! Not my primary doctor but if I was searching for one, hes it!

Unfortunately, my husband myself and our 3 year old had to be COVID tested twice in the past 2 weeks. We were very lucky to find Chai. We were able to book appointments in advance and we were in and out in no time. Thank you for all that you do!

By far the best experience I have EVER had when dealing with a medical emergency! My son, under 2 years old, fell and was obviously hurt. I walked into this place at 7:40PM and my son was examined, x-rayed and casted and I walked out at 8:40PM. Aside for the speed, it was a pleasure. I have NEVER had a good experience with emergency rooms and such. Thank you Shloime Goldberg for the fast attentive care!

The person doing the test stuck the swab in my nose so fast and hard that I was scared she was going to puncture something. Other than that unpleasant experience, everything seemed to move in an orderly fashion although the lines were out of the door...which is expected during a spike in covid. Nothing could be done about that.

Amazing medical care.... and the people there were so kind and fun. I can’t say enough good things about boro location! I had just flown in from England. My cat bit me just as I left for the airport in England. Though I washed it thoroughly and applied anti bacterial cream, by the time I landed at jfk it was clearly infected. I taxied from my hotel to Chai. Within minutes of arrival the doctor was looking at my hand and minutes later I was having an X-ray. The staff at the adjoined X-ray centre were also fabulous and friendly and I was xrayed so quickly. Back to the doctor for review and prescription and out within half an hour. They also helped me get back to my hotel. The dr even kindly took calls from me a couple days later when I had a question about my hand. I cannot stress enough how friendly and fun the staff were throughout. I’ve never had fun at an emergency treatment before! Plus they were effective, efficient and so well-priced!! If you need help in Brooklyn this is the place to go.

I called at 11pm and apparently the doctor is about to leave when google says they close at 12am. The secretary put me on hold for 15 min (to waist time obviously) while I’m in severe pain. The male doctor came to the phone and spoke very poorly and disrespectfully. A Jewish facility is suppose to care and want to treat patients however in this case, I was wrong. Do not go to this urgent care the doctor and secretary are extremely rude and unhelpful. The secretary used foul language and was no help.

We had to take my baby here when he was sick, there was no wait they took us right away and they fixed him up right away, they were very helpful, kind and patient! I definitely recommend them

Went to the Staten Island one was a great experience from the minute i walked in to the minute we left everyone was so helpful and nice. I love that it was open til midnight as my son needed stitches later at night and with it being flu season i wanted no part of the ER! I highly recommend this place!!

Worst experience ever. Was there once before and got treated by Dr Rosenberg was very good. This time starting with the nurse who took my vitals he was busy doing other things while asking me questions Making me repeat my self. Very uncencetive when I asked for a tissue he said yeah sure and gave a a gauze pad when I asked again he said oh real tissues we only have outside if you want one you gotto run out and come back quickly. some Dr Goldberg treated me was in such a rush to see more patients he didnt give me the time of the day.Will never go back there.

I was so touched by the wonderful staff and doctors. My daughter boards for school in Brooklyn and Im in Jersey. I kept on needing to speak with them on the phone. I spoke with the Dr. twice. Each time he was so kind and patient. Mr. Roseman made it his business to be on top of the situation. The staff was so polite and helpful.She got a chest xray with vurtually no waiting time. I am so grateful that my daughter has a place to go that I trust.

The appointment I made was completely meaningless, I was rudely told there is a wait of 60 minutes. Also I checked in online, I was told they don’t have access to that. So I had to fill in all that info all over again. Here is the best part, after checking in I was asked if I want to make an appointment? They don’t have any in the system. Avoid if you can

This is a bad place !!! this Monday I came with acute symptoms I had a sore throat I had a high fever and many other symptoms. the doctor was Incompetent and absolutely not a professional. She examined me and said that I have a virus,Although I did not feel so, I had severe pain in my throat.The next night I became very ill I began to choke my throat ached even more the temperature rose very strong.My throat was so sore that I could not even speak.The next day I went to another doctor barely able to walk because it was hard for me. I had a high fever which was seriously knocked down.And this doctor said that I have a severe sore throat and prescribed antibiotics. But since they did not give me Antibiotics on the first day of illness, antibiotics helped very slowly.Therefore, at your place I thought 10 times before going to this place.

Sent in close family member for flu swab prior to my trip overseas as he was feeling poorly and I did not want to transmit flu to a vulnerable very sick relative overseas. They said it was negative. A Full week later he called and asked them what happened to the overnight and they said it tested POSITIVE for FLU. No follow up, no phone call, NADA. This was considered incredibly irresponsible as has they called back to with the results I would not have hesitated to cancel my trip. I may have transmitted the Flu Bug to a seriously ill family member that I had gone to visit who did get sick a couple days after I arrived.

I was tested for covid pcr test. The lady barely swabbed my nose and a couple days later I get word from them that it was inconclusive. They told me to go back I do it again and the same thing happens. They wasted my time and are poorly trained. I can’t imagine how much inaccurate information about covid is being reported.

Unsympathetic staff and have witnessed rude behavior on multiple occasions. They don’t live up to their name “Chai” care, which literally means “life”.***Updated review***Some staff members are courteous and professional. Others not so. Perhaps better training is needed.

Patients are required to check in with a touch screen which is not disinfected between patients . Staff is unwilling to check you in even when you are having trouble doing it yourself . They also dont have the patience to come around and help you successfully check in. Also, the wait was very long as I waited for well over an hour.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Was able to get an appointment same-day for that evening. Place is fairly clean and put together. Overall I would recommend it.

I regularly covid test, 2 - 5 times a week for work. Using the Solv app, I can book an appointment at anytime, with Chai Urgent Care in Boro Park & Williamsburg. Fast efficient and knowledgeable medical technicians. Thank you Chai!

My son fractured his clavicle bone. The staff at chai care were quick to diagnose and care for him. Their hi tech machinery made it possible for us to know what happened to him within minutes of our arrival to chai care. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

SO grateful for Chai Care. I hurt my foot, and needed to have an X-Ray. From holding the door open for me, to getting me a wheel chair so that I didnt have to walk, to teaching me how to use crutches, they were sympathetic, and patient, and really nice. I would totally recommend this place to anyone. The doctors, and x rays in one place makes a huge difference.

Went there with my father for his Covid-19 PCR and antibody test on Thursday, 4/1/21 and writing this review a week later on 4/7/21. The test result is NOT available yet. Completely unacceptable.

I miss my flight because of there lack on responsibility. They didn’t give the results on time it took them 4 day to give me the PCP results.. very sad i had to reschedule my flight and pay lots of money, I think they should pay me back..😤

Went on a legal holiday with a small but painful injury. I was seen within 10 minutes by an MD who checked the injury, applied local aneasthetic, bandaging, and sent me off with a prescription for antiboitics all within 15 minutes. Very professional, attentive and effective.

We arrived at Chai Urgent Care today at 7:30pm since they will be closed at 8pm, but it was closed and when I called and no one answers the phone call, but their website still shows OPEN NOW. This is for 3808 14th ave location. Do not know why it was rated 4 and half stars.

I went here for a throat culture following my fever symptoms, and my test was sent to an out of network lab and I was charged for $6,000 for a throat culture. I was never told the price, never told they were ordering an entire respiratory panel for just having 101 fever, and months later i am still fighting it. Irresponsible and unprofessional.

Do not step in to this place. No AC, with horrible staff. Go a few blocks down to Asisa or somewhere else where youll find much better service with nicer staff.

Took my kid there it was ok but I couldn’t get my child’s medical record for his follow up appointment to his regular doctor , they refused to send me called them twice still didn’t get anything , she said called me and sent me an email and her call and email didn’t go through I don’t believe that nobody called me ether email me , kept telling me that I have to go and sign some papers , this kind of thing has to be done and told to the patients at the visit

This place was clean. The workers were rude and the people waiting going in to get tested for Covid19 did not have masks on. The workers did not advise the patients to please masks on. I wouldnt go there everrrrrrrrrr again. Very unprofessional.

I was in and out however, many people came in without a masks and were sitting in the waiting room either without a mask or the mask was below their chin. The staff did not say anything to them and they cannot say they didn’t see them because the individuals were asking questions without a mask on. So if you go there are you are covid negative it is likely you can catch it while being there. Never going back.

Chai care thank you for for the great and fast serviceMy daughter was there with an allergic reaction after I gave her benadryl she still had issues she happened to be a block away so she went in the Dr was so concerned that he observed her and watched her for a few but when she was on the way home she didnt feel good so we called hatzola when chai care found out they were still so concerned and a phone call was made to me and they asked to please keep them posted if I dont call them they said we will call you all I can say is wow wow wow such a great place thank you thank you thank you

Dr. Goldberg did a great job stitching my child on the face. Is great with children . explained everything to the child and had patience for the child.
