Our Lactation Consultant, Caryne, has been a life saver for our family! She eased our worries and empowered me to feel confident in breast feeding, pumping, and formula feeding (a triple feed plan). I just had my first session with Caryne Jean-Michel for lactation consultation services, and she was fantastic. Very professional, she came with a scale and weighed my son pre & after feeding to check my milk production and helped me address my breastfeeding issues (mainly my son biting my nipples & not latching well).She gave me many great tricks I had not read/seen/heard or been told before (I had taken 6 breastfeeding/lactation classes through aeroflow prior to birth, as well as gotten information from my doula and hospital lactation consultants, & read Ina Mays breastfeeding book).In addition to addressing my breastfeeding issues, Caryne helped with my & the babys positions for a relaxed feeding session, helping my back & shoulder pains, and she also taught me how to use my pump with a practice session.Caryne took her time and we practiced a good amount on getting the baby to latch well: she was easy to understand, follow & learn from, and I felt confident in being able to use the tricks learned for future feedings.She also taught us other useful tricks on baby care: she is extremely knowledgeable, and also caring, patient and thorough, making sure we had the tools to have successful future breastfeeding & pumping experiences.I highly recommend Caryne for lactation consultation services.
