New Beginnings Perinatal Center

The low rating for this perinatal center definitely leaves me dumbfounded. The experience we received since the very beginning, from genetic consultation to nutritional consultation and just regular ultrasonography were thorough, informative, sensitive, and extremely friendly. Their imaging equipment was so high tech that it made our obgyns equipment seem prehistoric! Asides from one seemingly pointless appointment, where a provider just told my wife to be mindful of what she eats and simply scheduled a follow up with a nutritionist, every other appointment was informative and clinically significant!Emily and Sonia, along with other staff there were very attuned and provided us with such a nurturing vibe, which shows that they really do care about optimal patient care! My wife and I enjoyed our visits so much that when baby arrived early and had to cancel our upcoming appointment, that we were so sad we never got to say goodbye to them, especially Sonia and Emily who has been there every step of the way of our very first pregnancy. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to sincerely thank everyone at New Beginnings for making our first journey to parenthood such a supported and nurtured experience!Thank you, Sonia, Emily, and everyone else for being there for us every step of the way! I did not want to write this review but this center has proven to be one of the most frustrating experiences my wife and I have had during this pregnancy.Lets go down the list.You will rarely if ever see the doctor. It seems they hide him because of his reputation.We met with the doctor and he thought my wife was a completely different patient for about five minutes until we corrected him.The staff: The sonogram technicians are the best thing about this place. They are knowledgable, fast, and very kind. This place would go under without them.Appointments: if you make an 8am appointment, good luck to you. The staff is late, and often not on time. If you have to work at 9am, you better make plans to be late. The 8:30 neo natal technician is also late. We found ourselves waiting outside the doors for someone to open the door all the time.God help you if you make an appointment on a Saturday. The small waiting room is packed and wait times are long.They made an appointment for us on 7/21 at 8am and never told us the office was on vacation from July 20 through 21. My 9 month pregnant wife went through all the trouble of going there only to find out they were closed.What is going on at this place?!Imagine, making all these pregnant women go through such turmoil.I want to highlight the nutritionist who was also very knowledgable and kind.

Very long waiting time, I came and waited for more than an hour, there is nowhere to sit, everything is occupied, people come with their husbands and children, it is stuffy, noisy. Pregnant women have to stand and wait their turn while men sit. My ultrasound technician is a professional, will explain and tell you everything. But because of the long wait and a full hall of people, schedule the time differently.

The workers there are not specialists. I did a blood test to find out the gender the first time. They said it didn’t come out, and I went there again and did another test, and the same thing didn’t happen.And those who answer the phone say wrong information, you must go there and make sure it is correct.Really, I do not recommend them to anyone

Sonia ultrasound tech is the best, God-sent. Scheduling has always been flexible for me with accepting even last minute emergent appointments. Other techs and front desk are also nice. I drive far to come here and will only come here. Only ridiculous rule is dr wehbehs no children allowed in the backroom with you. I was totally put off by that. Outdated and unnecessary

This place is literally horrible. Two times I’ve been to my appointments early and had to sit in the sad excuse for a waiting without any attention or communication. First incident, I left work early to make this appointment, got there way earlier than my appointment and sat in the waiting room for over an hour. Saw the doc for a total of 4 mins (he was also rude) and then was told to go pick up a prescription. Whole appointment took 15mins ( including sonogram) for an hour wait. 2nd incident, came in early again, sat there for 45 mins then asked if I’m being seen because I’ve been sitting here for so long, girls at the front desk said yea I’m next, wait another 15 mins (total over an hour) then take a couple who came in after me. No communication or consideration. If anyone recommends this place I advice you to look elsewhere. Completely unprofessional and front desk girls don’t do anything. Only saving grace is the sonogram techs are always super nice and helpful.

Not sure if staff has been changed here or not. But reading some of these reviews seems like a totally different place. I’ve been here twice for third trimester check ins. And I’ve been seen within 10 minutes of showing up… That’s even on the first visit with filing papers. (I also only like morning appointments so maybe that is a factor?)Anyway, what I did find a bit odd was, I was only given ONE sono photo. Not the 3-4 like you’d normally think…. I only have 1 sonogram from a hospital I was visiting prior, and hadn’t been seen over month before coming here. So I assumed they’d have printed more than 1, NOPE.The nicest person is the stress test tech. Not sure of her official title. But she is the absolute sweetest. Front desk ladies are kind as well!Lastly, I don’t care if someone has a mask on or not. I don’t wear them ever. And why should I care about what someone has on or not? 😅😂 I’ve lived in 4 states in 2020 and traveled to over 15 states since then. No mask worn in stores, cars or anywhere I visited. NEVER SICK. Because why? It’s all about PERSONAL HEALTH and how you take care of YOURSELF. So for anyone worried about a mask (that doesn’t work unless in a sanitized environment anyway) Seek therapy. It shouldn’t be your business what someone else is doing about their health. Want to prevent sickness? Eat non gmo, intake more probiotics, don’t use pharmaceuticals, drink alkaline water. ✌🏼

At first I was put off because there were some people without their masks on or properly on but they did speak to the patients when it was brought to their attention . The staff was very friendly and my daughter was called in on time . The technicians were very attentive and friendly and did a wonderful job . Thank you for your wonderful service .

The office isnt terrible, but it isnt great. You will usually be made to wait, even though I always made my appointments super early (8am). The technicians are nice, but I did have a huge issue with the front desk girl treated me. I was told that I came up at risk on my genetic screening and I was nervously and anxiously waiting to hear back on my NIPT. I called a few weeks after taking it and without thinking twice one front desk girl told me the results werent in, she didnt even take the time to check. I then waited a few days and called again. I go the same girl who once again didnt take the time to check at all she literally just said no its not in. Then I called back and thank god I got a different receptionist. I literally called 2 minutes after hanging up with the first. This receptionist took the time to check and told me my results on the spot, everything came back normal. Considering how stressful a situation it can be for a pregnant woman, I really did not appreciate the first receptionist not even taking the chance to look. Chances are I could have gotten my results sooner and it could have meant an extra week or even days of a calmer pregnancy. That is gold and important to me, but clearly not this receptionist. I do not intend on using them my next pregnancy.

Very disappointed in this Doctors office I’m a first time mom going for my first sonogram and was denied services because they did not check my insurance a day or two before my visit on a Saturday. Considering I called the morning before my appointment to confirm if would it be a problem just to be denied when I entered the office. They also make you sign a disclosure stating that whether or not your insurance covers services you are responsible for all charges so I’m confused as to why I was denied services! Will never come back

Terrible places!!!!!!!At the first appointment, they wrote my year of birth incorrectly (added 10 years) My doctor was shocked! At the second appointment, my husband and I had to wait more than an hour because there was some kind of paperwork and at the end they said that it turns out that my husband could not come in because he needed a vaccine! They did not warn us about this in advance! Lost a lot of time! Awful attitude!

Before today, I’ve never been to this place but I will most certainly never be back. I drove there from the Bronx only to be denied service by them for exercising my first amendment rights. They did not honor my religious exemption but I’ll be praying for them because judgement day is coming and we will all be standing in front of the Lord on that good ol judgment day.

Inexperienced front staff. Rude Dr. who does not care about anyones emotions. He discriminated against me and cursed in his native language which I to his misfortune understands pretty well.very unethical.They were the only place who ask for 2 weeks echos just so they can send you a massive bill.Never going back.

The staff is rude and is busy discussing personal issues in the front. Theres this one tech that if you ask her a question she acts like she doesnt want to answers. Like is it that hard? She actually got a nice compliment from someone but she is not welcoming or nice at all

Dont waste your time!! You will NEVER see the doctor, you will constantly see different techs and its always crowded. Its like they over book on purpose. The only plus side is how nice the front desk girls usually are.

I been in the medical field for 25 years. I till you that: don’t go there. Rude doctor who doesn’t care about his patients. No manners. No good communication. If I could give this doctor zero for his unprofessionalism, I’ll do. Add to that rude and un professional staff.

Don’t waste your time going there. Their front staff is unprofessional and unpleasant to communicate with. As a first time patient I wasn’t informed that they only take cash or check payments until I was in the office. When someone from their front desk staff should’ve stated that when they confirm your appointment. The sonographer was rude. I will not be going back there.

CARELESS is the word that comes to mind when I think of this place! I had blood drawn and improperly stored which resulted in a clotted sample that gave a false-positive for A very serious condition.Instead of apologizing and offering to retest, Wehbeh stood by the diagnosis, laughed, then called my OB “dramatic”. At the very least, his actions we’re unethical.... it’s not ok to have a pregnant woman believe her entire pregnancy is in danger because you’re too lazy to retest or hold your staff accountable.

Waiting room is a disaster with kids everywhere

Extremely unprofessional doctor, who has an audacity to yell at his patients. Extortion at its best! Dont bother!

One lady who works there stood outside the room while I was getting seen and I saw her through the mirror and I commented and she ran away and came back 3 times in the third time I was having a conversation and she barged in and started yelling at me - was extremely invasive and completely unprofessional - respect yourself and ask yourself what is the best for you and your baby...

Very professional stuff, quick to respond to all inquiries always going forward to help with any issues

Don’t come this place,After few visits they’ll send you a bill hundreds of dollars, without any notice, telling you that your insurance is good, once you sign all the papers, you’re fu,,ed up

The staff at this Ultrasound facility are rude and not helpful. I would not recommend this place to any family expecting.

The front desk named Ashley is not very good at dealing with people over the phone. I think she needs a new job.

Best place for ultrasound

There is no explanation of the condition. The doctor does not meet the patient. Someone uses a device and walks around without anyone talking to him. What came out of the device?

The first thing is that it is crowded and they only have three chairs, and the second thing is the reception, they make you tired and do not help you with anything. One of the reception staff is good, but the second one does not help you with anything and does not respect the office. The tour inside the building is very small place and old patient they stay.stand up for one hour

Very well attended....very friendly!!! And fast!!!
