Access Booker Family Health Center

Extremely ghetto. Workers talking so loud about fighting and inappropriate things that you can hear them in personal intake room. Absolutely unprofessional and unbelievable.

The staff I have encountered were/are good to us. However It is nearly impossible to get a hold of someone on the phone. My main problem is with the current doctor. There is a revolving door of doctors that come through this clinic. It is a gamble as to the type of care and communication youll receive. This current doctor does reply to emails, calls, or anything at all. The standard wait for any type of reply is 48 hours, and I understand that, but completely ignoring a patient is UNACCEPTABLE. I have called and left multiple messages in the past . Sometimes, Ill get a reply 4-6 days later and sometimes completely ignored. Either hire more doctors and alleviate their workload or provide appropriate training. We matter and deserve better.

It is important to ensure that all patients are treated with respect and care. I urge the management of Access Clinic to review and improve their customer service practices to provide a more respectful and caring experience for all patients.That lady named Mattie at the front desk always has a nasty attitude and treats me disrespectful. Im so k of it!

Been with Access for years! Here you’re in good hands! This Booker location is always nice and clean. Dr. Rafat is the most professional caring doctor ever! She definitely makes you feel your health is her number 1 priority .. Katayah is very kind, professional and caring as well. These two make up the perfect team :)

So far I love my doctor-Olayinka Durojaiye. The only issue is that the receptionist is very rude and very slow. This is my second visit and experience with the same receptionist who literally let a line form... This resulted in waiting patients to become very upset. One of the nursing staff had to come and assist with checking in patients which was much appreciated but not her job. Lastly, it takes a very long time before you are called to see your Dr.I have no problem with my Dr. I just hate how this clinic is ran. Theres not much compassion or care when it comes to the front desk staff and thats sad. My only feedback is hire new front desk staff.

Been coming to the dentist here for years. Got new management when Is understandable but recently my brother and I came in to get a tooth pulled that has been bothering us. The new staff was great. We both got our tooth pulled and it stopped hurting until 2 weeks later we both experienced pain in the same place we got the tooth pulled at….. on top of that I got composite restoration done and they do not look like how they look when the team before this one did it. My tooth front teeth are uneven. It’s really one dentist going around so it might’ve been a rushed job…. Idk

Dr. Singh provided excellent care during my pregnancy and check on me after delivery, made sure that I was comfortable, and made the environment feel like home. Also, she did an excellent job on my incision. My case manager Michelle check on me at every appointment and I really felt that I could confide and trust her. She answered questions and assisted me with things I needed. She is an excellent person to talk to. And, my grandmother loves her.

Great service overall from the staff. My children and I have been going to bookers for over 15 years and we have always had great service. Peggy and Kt work well with the children and adults. Dorian and Maddie answers calls and questions very thoroughly and politely. Thats just to name a few, like I said the entire staff is an absolute delight.

I’ve been going to this clinic since high school, I’m now In my thirties! They get you in and out with such friendly and personable customer service. I love that the staff hasn’t changed much, they seem like a huge family. KT and Peggy were so welcoming on my last visit, definitely will continue to go to this location.

I love the staff at Access booker on 47th and Langley. The facility is very clean and everyone is so warm and inviting. Last year, I was pregnant and delivered a healthy baby boy with their care. The case manager at this location is Mrs. Michelle Mason and she is the best!!! She supported me during my pregnancy and after. She checks in every time we go the doctor and makes sure your needs are met and if there’s anything she can do she will. She helped with everything from baby supplies, breastfeeding tips and encouragement with my weight loss journey and future endeavors.

Ms. Peggy and KT took very good care of me today. I love going to Booker, I’ve have been a patient literally my whole life. Great clinic and wonderful service. Love those ladies.

Very Professional and clean environment. Patient care is top priority and the staff is very informative as well they listen to assess and meet the needs of your health. They follow-up and make sure that appointments are scheduled also Ive had home visits and I was hesitant at first butMrs Wilson informed me it had to be done. Definitely a family clinic!

So this is my second time visiting this location my first time was similar to my second time, the women at the front desk of this location are rude and act as if they don’t have time or they have an attitude or that they are busy, for instance I was checking in w/ an older lady at the front desk who took a call while assisting me, then she wanted me to fill out paperwork for discounted coverage or something, while I had already handed her my insurance card, and informed her that I had been here before then she insisted that I call my insurance, all while acting nonchalant about what I was saying/ asking. Very poor customer service! Also to add the first time I visited this location the doctor didn’t even arrive for an hr after my appt time! The only reason for 2 stars is b/c the medical assistants were awesome!

I just moved to the area and didnt have any idea of what to expect. I saw the Booker Family Health Center on my way to Peaches the first day I moved in and figured I needed a new doctor and it was really close to my house.I had an appointment at 8:20 am on a Wednesday and was seen within about 10 minutes of me getting there and filling out paperwork (because I was a new patient).The nurse who took my vitals and information was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. I was then seen by NP Rafat Shoneye who was so super nice and helpful! She was knowledgeable about my health issues and was not condescending at all; in fact, she was very helpful and made me feel at ease.I would 100% go back to see her at the Booker Family Health Center.

Been going here for years since it was under the Booker hotel across from McDonalds.Doctor Izmeal If Im spelling it right was my first doctor.He was really good.Now I have Dr. Shoneye she is my family primary doctor and she is the best😊She really cares about her patients.Me and my Mom love her💖The receptionist are very good to.They always make sure I have everything I need to stay happy and healthy😊

I just gave birth to my baby and was excited to bring the baby to Booker to see the staff. All the medical staff and my case manager came out and greeted us. I thought it was a party. That made me feel so welcome. Ive been going to Booker since I was very young. I love my Booker doctors. I would tell anybody to go to this clinic. Thank you Peggy, Jackie, Dorian, Ellen, Michelle, Alize, Andrea, Kadesha, Phyllis, Singh, Mattie, and Naidu.

I have been with this clinic for 9 years. It is a peaceful family environment and the wait time is short. I enjoy all the staff. I’m also thankful for the additional programs that supported me through my pregnancy. They helped me focus on getting Wic services and employment. I recommend this place to everyone!

I really really really like this location (because of Patricia, other NP, and front desk). I have never had a bad experience here since going (past year). Front desk is polite and professional and I love Patricia and have just met another woman whom I was so glad to meet (Nurse Pract.). I would recommend them 100%. Both NP are really passionate about their jobs and I never leave feeling like I need a second opinion or their just telling me anything.

Booker staff is the most amazing. I have been going there since I was a child. My recent care was through both pregnancies. I love Peggy, Alize, Michelle, Dorian, Kadesha, Ella, Jackie, And Andrea

Booker is an amazing clinic. I was fortunate enough to have care during and after my pregnancy. Dr. Naidu is the best pediatrican. I regret relocating. Quality service is hard to find. I’m grateful to be a client of Access Booker. The environment encourages family. I have received quality care from Dr. Singh . Im especially grateful for Michelle Mason, my case manager who followed me through my pregnancy to make sure I was healthy and happy.

A friend informed about the Case Management program and referred me to Michelle. Michelle educated me the services provided. She also educated me on breastfeeding and other helpful resources that will help me with my twins. I love her. She has a great personality and spirit.

Very ghetto staff kids running behind nurses during the day why are your kids at work with you? Couldnt get my appointment due to miscommunication and the staff is just rude will never go back

I love it here I’ve been coming here since I was a kid with ms.Peggy as my nurse and now with dr. Naidu as my doctor and ms. Ellen as my nurse.. my son actually get is his check ups here as well it’s such a family place they live they care and they are good.. Andrea is the best blood drawer EVER .. my case manger is amazing here we on baby number 2 now lol it’s been a great Michelle is a life savor she even helped me get a stroller and car set for my first baby and is just amazing...

I met with Michelle. She was such a sweetheart. She was very helpful and assisted me with my needs. I was referred to access family health through a friend. Though Im not a client she was able to assist me and I would recommend to any mommies.

Access Booker is one of the best clinics in the community. The staff is professional and provide excellent care to the patients. Michelle, Jackie, Peggy, Kadesha, Dorian, Andrea, Ellen, and Phyllis are the best!

Got her at about 12:15 on Saturday, all of the staff was away lunch. When 1:00 came and they returned from lunch, I went to check in, told them I was a walk-in and I was told, they dont have any walk-ins and we could not be seen. The bald lady was VERY rude and unhelpful. I went out of my way to this place based on what the rude call center representative (who hung up on me) told me, to wait almost an hour, just to have a rude receptionist tell me we could not be seen. I have had too many bad experiences, more at multiple locations, with this medical group to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt. Their doctors are nice but staff is ignorant and service is atrocious. I will NEVER recommend or use this group AGAIN.

My wife has been treated like she is nothing. She had an appointment yesterday. Around four, over the phone. They didnt call. She called them. They said her call was pushed back. And then they closed. Now shes calling today, and they say she needs to reschedule. For an appointment from a month from now. She is being treated horribly. Mental health is no joke. She is suffering.

Dr.Vanastha Naidu is a excellect doctor working with children of all ages. APN Rafat Shoneye is a great doctor as well she explains all your test results to you in English and arabic language she is a Adult doctor she is also well qualified with Dr. Vanastha Naidu. I highly recommend these two doctors to families and friends and the public they get you in and out of the clinic no long waits just call and set up appointment with Medical Assistant Peggy Jackson for Dr. Vanastha Naidu or for adults patients call Medical Assistsnt Woneda for Dr.Rafat Shoney,APN

Love the case management program, love how they keep up with how the baby is doing as well as making sure their vaccines are up to date. Definitely make sure you stay on your toes when it comes to the baby.

One of the receptionists was open and laying back in her chair so I tried to go to her first. She saw me and pretended to then go on the phone. Then the other one was a Terrible Receptionist. Waited 12 minutes before she even spoke to me and another 5 minutes before she found my kids info. Wouldn’t recommend this location. It’s sad they have workers like this

My kids And Myself Are patients here and the Nurses are absolutely awesome ! They show the right compassion for their patients. I made a Great choice switching to this office !

This is a great place but some of the staff are very rude but I love Dorian she does her best to try and get you some help to see the doctor and the older lady as well. But it’s some woman there that don’t need to be there that makes the process ugly but If the staff change up then I would give it 5 stars

Booker Health Clinic has the best doctors on the south side of Chicago no long wait and they do walk-ins I highly recommend this Clinic to family friends and the public.

My case manager makes Sure I have everything i need to have every time i come to the doctor for every visit i leave excited because she make sure every thing is completed she is fantastic and very professional if you like organize i recommend her

The staffing is very friendly. Dr. Singh is a good doctor but sometimes she can be offensive with her way of asking questions.

I Elnora Williams came to Access Booker when I was pregnant I talk to a woman her name is Michelle she helped me with WIC & etc. Michelle was such a help to my family & I I’m glad I came to this clinic

Appointments are always a month away. SMH. I’m gonna switch me and my daughters doctors because that’s ridiculous.

It is so hard just to get a prescription. DR.Rafat is the worst doctor there. They need to get there old doctors back that actually work and dont just want the states money
