Jackie at Modern Oriental Medicine has been amazing! As a wellness professional myself and a client of hers, I have pretty high standards of care and she exceeds them all. She is very caring, a wonderful listener and is very attuned to your needs and health goals. My nerves are a bit sensitive to needles, so she goes to great care to make sure I’m comfortable, and my cycles seem to be regulating since my work with her. If you’re looking for a great acupuncturist, look no further than Jackie!

Jackie is a breath of fresh air and such a warm presence. I have been seeing her for acupuncture services for over a year. She is responsive, knowledgeable, and so, so supportive. I leave each appointment feeling better and my symptoms fade after a short while. Highly recommend.

I first started going to Jackie after my first egg retrieval wasn’t very successful. I only had 8 mature eggs with only 1 quality embryo. I saw Jackie 1-2 times a week prior to my second retrieval and ended up with over 25 mature eggs and 7 quality embryos. I then went through my first IVF transfer without seeing Jackie and it was unsuccessful. For my next IVF transfer, I again started seeing Jackie weekly and also had her do acupuncture right before and right after my embryo transfer and it was successful! I now have a 7 week old beautiful baby boy! I wasn’t a huge believer in acupuncture until I met Jackie. She is one of the most kind and caring people I have met and always made me feel so comfortable. I will forever cherish her and believe she is one of the reasons I was blessed with my son!

I started seeing Jackie for acupuncture to help endometriosis pain as well as prepare my body for IVF. She is warm and listens closely to any issue you’re having. She is extending knowledgeable! I highlight recommend if you’re looking for an effective and caring acupuncturist!

Jackie is amazing! She is very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable! I had been going through all the peri-menopause symptoms… hot flashes, insomnia, weight gain. I’ve been trying to diet, exercise, de-stress with meditation, etc for over 2 years. I went to Jackie and within 6 weeks the hot flashes were completely gone and I began averaging 7-8 hours of sleep every night. And within 4 months, I lost 9lbs. I started doing acupuncture with Jackie in January 2022 when we started our infertility journey, since then she has been a huge part of my support system! Jackie and her clinic are incredible! After having one round of IVF where all embryos came back abnormal I was devastated. I was referred to Jackie and she has been amazing. She has helped me with each step of the way and continues to guide me. Jackie was with me through our second round of IVF where we thankfully got a healthy embryo. She was with me on transfer day and continues to be with me through my pregnancy. To say I am thankful is an understatement! I owe so much to her and highly recommend!

How do I even start? Jackie is so incredible in staying present with me as she carefully customizes the proper treatment that I need each visit. I’ve been to several acupuncturists in the past, and Jackie’s method is calm, knowledgeable, caring and nurturing. And man, is it effective. I have been going to Jackie since 2018 when I started going through fertility and she helped me tremendously and even after a few sessions you start to feel this relaxed and calm feeling all throughout and as you continue to do this overtime, you will notice a difference in your mood and you feel better. Acupuncture is amazing and I highly recommend it and recommend going to see Jackie. I still go til this day.. Acupuncture has so many different benefits. It can help with your nervous system, stress/anxiety, depression, constipation, grinding teeth, etc. She is great to talk with and an amazing listener and she really does care for her clients and really wants to help.

Jackie is AMAZING!!!! I started treatment with her just after my second miscarriage. I wanted hope and peace of mind and an escape from the crazy of the world. Acupuncture and weekly conversations with Jackie provided all that and more!!! Being able to lay quietly in a dark room and just breath for an hour each week provided me with the serenity I needed. After a few months of treatment I was able to conceive and stay pregnant!!! We are expecting in April! The acupuncture treatments not only assisted with blood flow and my bodys ability to get and stay pregnant BUT allowed me to find a sense of calm that I could have never attained without Jackies help! I can’t say enough positive things about Jackie and Modern Oriental Medicine. I started acupuncture early 2021 when going through IVF treatment, and I was struggling with the stress and anxiety of wether or not the transfer would be successful. The calming atmosphere, her kind and supportive presence, and the acupuncture itself were so incredibly helpful, I don’t know if I could have made it through without her! I tell anyone who is looking for acupuncture to go see Jackie, she is simply the best!

Jackie is the absolute best! She takes her time to really get to know you (physically, mentally, emotionally), your body and your needs. At every session, she is completely focused on you and takes detailed notes. She has many suggestions for increasing fertility and maintaining a healthy pregnancy. For my first pregnancy, I saw her 3-4 times before I found out I was pregnant! I know that time frame wont be the same for everyone, but we felt very lucky to have such great success so quickly. I saw her weekly through my first trimester and sailed through with no adverse symptoms. I am at the end of my second pregnancy now and have gone weekly for stress and anxiety relief, which has been amazing. I feel so relaxed and connected with this baby and ready to meet him! The office is very calming, and the decor is appropriate for relaxation and healing. They have many community resources and physical resources for you to borrow which focus on fertility education as well as others. Jackie will take amazing care of you and I could not recommend her more highly!

I can’t say enough good things about Modern Oriental Medicine. I started seeing Jackie a month ago for infertility. She is so knowledgeable and truly shows interest in getting my body on track for a baby. I just found out after only 4 weeks of acupuncture that I am pregnant, NATURALLY!!! I could not have don’t this without Jackie! I can’t wait to see what amazing things she does for my body throughout my pregnancy.My husband sees Julie and he says it’s the best he’s ever felt. I had a wonderful experience with Jackie at Modern Oriental Medicine. She was always super kind and knowledgeable. I started acupuncture to hopefully improve my outcomes while going through the IVF process. I saw Jackie throughout all stages of IVF and she even came to my fertility clinic to perform acupuncture before and after my frozen embryo transfer. I began seeing Jackie at the first of the year, after our first round of IVF failed to produce healthy embryos. It was devastating. My specialist recommended incorporating acupuncture into my treatment protocol to help not only at the cellular level, for healthier, more viable embryos, but it has been a life changer all around! My sleep has improved, my digestive health is phenomenal, and it has been amazing for my stress while going through the second round of IVF. Jackie is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me modify my daily diet and add recipes for seed cycling, blood flow improvement, and more.We just found out this week that we now have three viable embryos and Jackie is working side by side with my specialist to tailor my treatments to my transfer preparation. This was my first ever attempt at acupuncture. I will admit that I was skeptical. From the moment I walked through the doors Jackie made me feel at ease and comfortable. She walked me through every step and never hurt me. She is compassionate and I loved her instantly. After a few sessions, I felt relief from pain I have suffered through the last 8 years. I never thought gut it would be possible. I highly recommend Jackie as she is not only a wonderful acupuncturist but a sweet and compassionate woman as well.

I have been seeing Jackie for fertility related acupuncture treatment for nearly 8 months and cannot recommend her highly enough. I was skeptical - but she has made me a believer in acupuncture! She has also been a huge support to me through this process. She is professional, knowledgeable, and a friendly face in whatever struggles you may be facing.

I started seeing Jackie after my first and second trimester screens were coming back abnormal. I was throwing high blood pressures, dealing with an insufficient placenta, a severe IUGR baby and a lot of stress. Jackie was so helpful throughout this entire process and super knowledgeable! She takes the time to figure out what your body really needs. I was told I had a very poor outcome and to expect to deliver our baby between 26-28 weeks. I swear it was due to her helping me get my blood pressure and body back in balance that helped me get to 36 weeks. We blew the doctors away getting that far along! I cannot even begin to tell anyone how appreciative I am to have had her supporting me through this process. I highly recommend her!

I cannot say enough good things about Modern Oriental Medicine. Each time I saw Jackie, I felt listened to and heard. I was a little intimidated to go as Im scared of needles but Jackie is extremely gentle in her approach. She treated me for a variety of things, including tendinitis, night sweats, insomnia, and infertility. I noticed positive changes each month and after about four months, I became pregnant. I cannot thank Jackie enough for all of the positive things she has done for me.

I have seen Jackie 5 times since the middle of July for severe pain issues associated with 2 knee replacements and an impending hip replacement. I had difficulty walking and was in tears after short trips to the grocery store. After seeing Jackie my pain has been significantly reduced and Im able to complete shopping trips without tears and am able to do quite a few more activities each day without horrible pain. Until Jackie, I thought I would be completely housebound until my hip replacement at the beginning of October. Modern Oriental Medicine has not made my hip replacement unnecessary, but has certainly reduced the pain and made the wait for hip replacement manageable. I plan to keep on seeing Jackie until right before and after the surgery to speed up the recovery process. Jackie is such a kind, compassionate and caring practitioner, I cant imagine going anywhere else!

After traveling from Michigan to visit family in Denver, I was having a great deal of pain in my back and hips. I contacted Modern Oriental Medicine to see if they could offer me any relief. I have had acupuncture treatments at home, but Jackies technique and attention to detail went way above and beyond my other treatments. She is an avid researcher and deepens her expertise in her chosen field - womens health. In the 8 months we worked together, I learned things about my monthly cycle that I never learned with my doctors since being diagnosed with PCOS.She is deeply caring. Checking in with me after treatments which was helpful. If something she was doing with treatments was painful or uncomfortable, she would adjust. I had the experience that she honored my personal preferences highly.Lastly their office space is lovely. Uncluttered and has always felt very nurturing to me. I starting seeing Jackie about 2 months ago. I had my first migraine and then daily smaller headaches due to hormonal changes. Jackie not only made the headaches go away, she helped with a number of other things too from sleeplessness, hot flashes, digestion issues, and anxiety. Over the past nine months Julie has applied her many talents (acupuncture, herbalist, Gua sha, cupping, massage, nutritional guidance) to help me recover from many issues. I have been an acupuncture patient for over ten years and successfully achieved pregnancy with IVF twice with the help of acupuncture. I highly recommend MOM; it is conveniently located near the DTC. After a winter of illnesses, I followed Jackie’s advice and made regular acupuncture appointments to build up my immune system. This year I’ve noticed a tremendous difference: I haven’t been sick nearly as often; and if I do get sick I heal much more quickly. Jackie manages to skillfully balance compassion with efficiency, directly addresses issues/concerns, and seeks natural solutions while working alongside different treatment paradigms such as western medicine and ayurveda.

Jackie & Modern Oriental were recommended after I mentioned my allergies to a friend. Ive been allergic to cats most of my adult life, and my wife wanted to get some kitties. After my 2nd session we got the little furballs and I have been completely without any incident.Jackie took a lot of time to get to know me and understand my experiences with cats and allergies, and it showed in her treatments. Now I dont have to live on Benadryl like when I was younger, this is great!

Absolutely amazing experience with my first time getting acupuncture! I booked a appointment with Julie last week because I was having debilitating pain in my mid back and neck for a solid 2 weeks and it seemed to be getting worse. Julie was incredibly kind, genuine, and listened so intently while I was describing the pain I was having. If it didnt happen to me, I wouldnt have believed it, but after the very first session was over my pain was 100% gone. It felt like I was in a fog storm and the fog lifted into a beautiful sunny day. My body felt like new. Its been over a week later and I still feel great with no pain and a increased sense of well being. Thank you so much.

Heidi was great! She made me feel so comfortable. My baby was breached and she was able to help her flip the right way around. She would check in with me every few days after treatment to see if she had flipped and if we needed to do another treatment. I would highly recommend her!

I am from out of town and was looking for an acupuncturist to work with me during IVF. Jackie was very accommodating and did whatever she could to make sure I was taken care of. She’s great and could also make a great shrink! :)

Update from my last review, Heidi is no longer practicing but I now go to the new owner Jackie and shes awesome she continued to help me through my pregnancy and has made it so much better. Shes also helped with shoulder pain that I get from work and kept me from having to use any pain killers. I highly recommend her!

I recently had my third acupuncture treatment, but it was my first treatment with Grant. Grant treated me for pain related to my scoliosis, I have pain in my left back and right neck. I was pain-free for five days after my treatment with Grant! I cant wait to get back for more!

So! I will be completely honest that all the way through my 37 years I always thought that acupuncturists were a bit like witch doctors. If that is what you are looking for minus the witch doctor part, BUT with consistent results that are scientifically backed then get yourself over to Jackie with Modern Oriental Medicine. I have had it explained to me many times now why it works, but I am a true believer after Ive seen it for myself. Have headaches, hormone imbalance, etc. Jackie will be honest with you about expectations and help you on your healing journey.
