Dr. Richard A. Beyerlein, MD - OBGYN Eugene OR

Dr. Beyerlien delivered my son.He was delivered a month early and an emergency C-section. Dr. Beyerlien intellect, experience, and takes the time to really get to know his patient. Because of this sent me to the hospital from his office to have an ultrasound done. That is what led to a life giving and successful emergency C-section. I will forever be greatful and recommend Dr Beyerlien to care for the life of a woman and child.

Dr b..... how can I possibly sum up the kind of Dr this man is... let me try. When I was 17 yrs old after a history of ovarian cysts and then surgery to remove scar tissue, he told me I had too much scar tissue and having children naturally would be less than 5% and that was being nice. Fast fwd 20 yrs, may 10th 2020 I called him bawling as I had just taken a pregnancy test and was VERY positive! During my labor, he was so calm and reassuring. He had fully respected my desire to have an unmedicated birth unless he felt that it would put me or my daughter in danger. Labor progressed but I didnt. He came in and said are u ready for some meds or an epidural? As much as I wanted to put the epidural in my own spine, I was contracting so bad that I couldnt speak. He looked at the nurse and said get the anesthesiologist in here stat plz! I just gave him the look and he knew it was time. After 12 hrs of hard labor and me losing energy fast (after my epidural was placed) he took my hand and let me feel my daughter decend in the birth canal. It was the most kindest and amazing thing I had ever experienced! him taking my hand and placing it on my daughters head gave me the motivation that I needed to push my baby out! The next day, he came to my hospital room all dressed up in his church clothes and smelling SOOOO good just to see how my daughter and I were doing. ♡ The Dr (night nurse in the mom and baby ward) wasnt listening to me and wouldnt get me meds for my stitches that kept me up all night so he walked out and told the nurse to get me some meds stat! I have nothing but admiration and upmost respect for this man! At my 6 week check up, I came to the office with a $100 olive garden gift card for him and his family to go enjoy time with 1 another. I gave Christine a $50 gift card to spend on whatever she wanted. I know thats not usual but I just couldnt thank this man enough. He is THE BEST! HANDS DOWN! Dont let the fact that this man being a male gyno weird u out. He is truly amazing and respects each and every 1 of his patience to the highest standard. He will be performing my tubal in May.

Dr. Beyerlein is the BEST doctor around. He is very friendly, has a great sense of humor, and takes the time to answer questions if you have them. He delivered 2 of my children and Ive been going to him for over 10 years. The nurse and other staff members are awesome as well. Ive never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!

Dr Beyerlein was great! Very friendly and made great conversation! I felt like I was provided what I needed, educated on what I didn’t know and didn’t feel rushed during my appointment. Christine was the nurse I had today and she was very friendly. The team here is great. Definitely recommend!

Dr. B is beyond amazing. I have been going to him for years. I had my first daughter with him in 2018 and now in 2020, he delivers all of his own babies and the only time he doesn’t is when he’s out of town which is not very often! He is so comfortable to be around and always listens to every concern or maternal instinct you may have. Him and his nurse Christine are an amazing duo. I recommend him to everyone that’s looking for an ob/gyn.

Dr. Beyerlein has been a fantastic obstetrician for me through three children and a miscarriage. He has been comforting and attentive through the good things and the hard things. I absolutely adore him and I could not imagine going through my labor and delivery experiences with another provider. He has always listened to everything I have to say and supported me with good explanations and science even if I have a question that feels silly. There really is no substitute for his level of experience and it is his veteran knowledge, loving demeanor and profound pride he takes in his work that always made me confident in every situation and through every delivery.

I highly recommend Dr. Beyerlein. He has delivered all my babies and is currently taking care of me now while I’m pregnant. He has been with us through miscarriages, infertility, and healthy babies. Always with care and compassion. Me and my husband value his advice and consider him the most knowledgeable in his field. I’ve sent several friends and family members to him and they all agree, he’s the best! Especially if you enjoy a non invasive approach and a good sense of humor.

Dr Beyerlien is simply the best OBGYN around. He takes great care of his patients- and their family as appropriate. He is knowledgeable and is a very skilled surgeon. I have recommended him to dozens over the last 25 years and he has now delivered my 2 grandchildren. We are so fortunate and blessed to have such an amazing doctor in our community.

I have been a patient of Dr Beyerlein’s for over 20 years. During this time he has assisted me with infertility issues, the birth of both of my children, well women health visits and gynecological surgery. He is a fantastic doctor and his first thought is always focused on his patient’s safety. He has superb surgical skills and a fantastic bedside manner that puts you at ease. His participation in clinical research ensures that he is up to date on the latest medical advances. I always recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor and believe he is the “gold standard”.

Dr. Beyerlein was the best life could put on my way to bring my son into the world. The whole pregnancy he was very attentive, kind and understanding of all of the things that a woman can possibly go through in such a challenging time (he even tied my shoes once). He was truly amazing and his team was always very kind and helpful.During my delivery, although it was scary, and we needed an emergency C-section, he was very respectful of the process and always shared with me what was happening and the different options so I could take an informed decision every step of the way. I truly believe his intervention was always culturally relevant and respectful, in a world were obstetrics violence against women is so common. I fully believe his knowledge and kind heart saved my babys life. Thank you, Dr. Beyerlein. You will be receiving many pictures of Mateo :).

I have worked with Dr B for 29 years. He is so respectful and kind to his patients. He treats everyone with the same dignity and compassion they deserve. I highly recommend him for your OB/GYN care. I have sent my sister and 2 daughter in laws to him for years. Trust me, if a nurse says a doctor is good and they send their family to them, they are really good.

I cant recommend Dr. B enough. As a first time mom he was the absolute best to work with, he was patient with ALL of my questions, had a great sense of humor and is all around top notch at what he does. From our very first appointment both my husband and I felt totally comfortable with him and like we had known him forever, which might sound silly but was really great since pregnancy and delivery can be scary for the first time. When things got crazy during my delivery he kept me calm and talked me through every step of the way. There is no OB I trust more and I look forward to him being my OB for the rest of my pregnancies.

Happened upon Dr. B by accident (referral from the ER during a miscarriage when I wasnt even aware I was pregnant) and I ended up pregnant a month or so after that visit. I was nervous to continue seeing him as I had never had a male OBGYN and it was always uncomfortable enough with a female doctor. I wasnt sure what to think at first and I honestly wanted to switch for my own comfort reasons, not anything to do with him. Man am I glad I was too lazy and unmotivated to start the process of finding a new doctor! 😂 I got more comfortable with the visits as they went on and I got to know him. I no longer even had anxiety before the dreaded check ups. He is EXTREMELY professional, honest, comforting, respectful and even has an awesome sense of humor. My husband loved him too. But the real reason I cant recommend him enough to everyone ever, is the birth of my daughter in 2017. He had me cracking up laughing while in labor and he was making my entire family laugh and fall in love with him. He turned around to do something at the sink and the nurses started yelling that the baby was coming so he turned around and ran to catch her. It all happened quick (like 15 min or less of pushing) so it was unexpected lol. Then he gave my whole family a fascinating anatomy and physiology lesson on the placenta and let everyone look up close. Then of course checking up on my husband, baby and I in our hospital room the next day on his day off, which Im sure is standard for most if not all doctors but was still appreciated. My family wouldnt stop talking about how much they loved him and how lucky I was to have him as my doctor and I completely agree. I wont willingly go to any other OB as long as he is available.

Dr. Beyerlein delivered all three of my children (including one surgical birth) and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor! He is compassionate, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Any time someone asks for an OB/Gyn recommendation, I sing Dr B’s praises. He is the best!

Dr. Beyerlein is the best OB/GYN Ive ever had and I have been to A LOT. He has such a great bedside manner and he is honest. He has delivered 2 of my 3 biological children (my first decided to come while he was out of town for the holidays 💁‍♀️). He was there to guide me and give me information when I got pre-eclampsia with my first. He never sugar coats anything and he gives you the information you need to make any choices you may need to make and he does it in a caring way. My last two were VBAC and even with them, he made me feel safe.I 100% recommend him. Kristine is also wonderful, prompt with getting referrals, screens, calling back whatever you may need and she is so sweet.

I love Dr. B!! Hes amazing! I feel completely comfortable with him and his nurse Kristine is amazing as well!! Had my first son in 2016 with him, continued with him for my annuals and my second son in 2018. Highly recommend him!

Dr. B has been my OB/GYN for 25 years. His calm demeanor and sense of humor put you immediately at ease. He delivered my 2 youngest children and is now guiding me through those crazy peri menopause years. I literally don’t know what I’ll do when he retires. Do not hesitate to trust your medical needs to this fantastic doctor.

I have been his patient for almost 20 years which means I truly trust him. Hes been my doctor through good times and absolutely horrible times. Kristine, his nurse, is amazing. I dread the day he retires!

Dr. B is by far the best Dr. I have ever encountered. I had two C-Sections, he was comforting, funny and made the procedure so less scary in the moment then I had built it up to be in my mind. He is a all around phenomial Dr. And assest in the community, I highly recommend.
