Ive been seeing Libby for acupuncture for over a year and a half, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about her and her practice! Acupuncture has made such a profound difference in my life, and I am incredibly grateful to Libby for her expertise and care. She truly listens, takes the time to understand my needs, and tailors each session accordingly. Every visit leaves me feeling balanced and renewed. Jim is a patient listener, a calm practitioner, and a knowledgeable professional in the practice of Chinese medicine. His office is clean and peaceful, and his appointments are informational and tranquil. I found Jim’s practice while struggling to conceive my second child. I’d used a combination of acupuncture and herbs before my first pregnancy, but having recently relocated to the Fox Valley area, I needed to find a practitioner that I could trust and feel comfortable with again. I made the right choice! I am now the proud mom of a healthy baby boy, and would recommend Jim to anyone struggling with infertility or looking to improve their health in any number of ways.

I cant say enough good things about Jim and Valley Acupuncture. I suffered from a 6 month headache due to a dental procedure when I first came to see him. This was after seeing many mds including a neurologist at Rush in Chicago. All they wanted to do was push drugs on me. The last thing I needed or wanted. Jim showed so much care and confidence. Although it took some time, because I waited so long to see him, he has really helped me to have relief. The mixture of herbs and the acupuncture have given me a new lease on life. Recently I had to finish the dental work I started the year previously. The headaches did come back but with Jims help, they have been so much better. I recommend him to anyone and everyone I can. Valley Acupuncture is fantastic! I have been trying to solve a wide spread pain issue for 5 years through western medicine. I have seen many specialists, and been through PT numerous time with mild results that didn’t last. After going to Vally Accupuncture, the pain has resolved, and I have my energy back. I even started dancing again! I though those days were long gone. Jim is easy to talk to, always friendly, and he takes the time to explain thing so that I really understand. I found the perfect place to help me with my healing. Valley Acupuncture is a serene and pleasant environment, and Dr. Pedersen is very gentle with the technique. He is also super thorough in assessing the patients needs and overall health prior to treatment. I have a rare lung condition which requires me to be on oxygen, and I always leave after a session feeling much lighter and able to breathe better. I was always interested in trying acupuncture, but maybe a little afraid, well this experience makes me wish I felt its benefits sooner. I’m so excited that I can see Dr. Sonora at this location now! She is a true healer! I had the worst IT band pain a few years ago. I tried stretching, foam rolling and physical therapy and nothing helped. After a few sessions with Sonora, I was shocked that the pain was completely gone and NEVER came back! I’ve continued to see her for the occasional stress management sessions and I always leave feeling AMAZING!

I hurt my back a few months ago , I couldnt even go up or down stairs without pain . I stand at work all day and was in so much pain .With only 3 treatments with Jim the pain was almost gone . The 5th treatment of acupuncture and feeling no pain . Jim is not only professional he is a kind man that really cares . I would highly recommend him .

So typically French. Waitstaff was great. Spoke enough English. We all had a huge pot of mussels with pomme frites. Good wine list! And a chocolate lava cake. I will go back before I leave. Oh yes also very reasonable. Mussels could be shared they were so big we all could not finsh and they were only 19€. And we also had escargot.

I really like Valley Acupuncture a lot, everyone is so friendly and Libby is great, I did the QRA program is great too. Im glad I found them...
