Greenville Womens Clinic

I visited on 8/9/2023 and I can not relate to any bad reviews. My experience was pretty pleasant and normal for any doctor office. I arrived about 11a.m. and was leaving a little before 2:30 pm. That might sound like a long time but with the amount of women that were there I think it was pretty efficient. Every one was nice with good energy except maybe the woman that was at the front desk. Cant say she was rude or mean she just didnt seem as in good spirits as the rest of the staff. Its pretty chili in the office as in most medical buildings glad I brought a mini blanket with me. Didnt see any sanitation problems, looked pretty clean to me, the building is kind of old fashion but thats neither here nor there. Nonetheless I had a pretty good experience and I really appreciate GWC for their kindness and their services and allowing women to still have a choice!!!!

The techs are rude and clearly dont know what they are doing when it comes to pregnancy tests I had a very horrible experience with them I dont recommend

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING, they took such amazing care of me!! I was super anxious about my appointment and the super nice lady at the desk Allison helped me and made sure I felt comfortable, even though they were busy they still were very efficient. If your worried about them being an all male doctors clinic like I was don’t worry, they only have 2 male doctors and one working at a time, and when I ended up seeing the doctor he just came in and told me all the information and answered any questions I had and then left. I was also worried about protesters but instead I was welcomed by pro choice supporters and on the way out a protester did try to pretend to be one but the amazing people told us to keep driving he was a protester and it just made me feel so safe

This place is beyond incredible. This was my first pregnancy/abortion expirence and was scrambling to find an opening in/out if state. We finally found Greenville Womens Clinic and they took care of everything in 24 hours. I cannot believe how fast, efficent, and kind every single staff member was. Even though the doctor I saw was male, I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. Please recommend this place to anyone who is in need. Fyi, do not go across the street to Piedmont Womens clinic.

Appointment time doesn’t seem to matter, mine was at 9am but I think they went by who walked in first (we all walked in before 9). Nonetheless, I was done and out by 11 so I was only here for about 2 hours. That’s much quicker than the wait time quoted so I highly recommend getting there before they open or making an early appointment. The nurse ladies were very very nice and so was the doctor. No protestors outside, guess they didn’t have time today. Too bad. A good laugh would’ve raised my mood cause I hadn’t eaten in 12 hours and was a tad grumpy. Still, everyone was caring, respectful, and also funny :) they provided the best experience I could have possibly had. I appreciate everyone who works here for what they do and how they do it with a smile.

An exceptional experience. The staff is welcoming, warm, polite and friendly. Specifically to the lovely lady at the entrance standing in the pouring rain deterring protestors from patients.The clinic is very clean and COVID cautious. The process was painless and quick. They made me feel much better about something I have been so scared about (I have anxiety disorder). These are simply angels that work here. They are truly hero’s and I hope they know this. The impact they have is astounding. 10/10. Thank you GWC. 💕

HONEST review! Having a procedure here isnt for the weak... Dr.Ruffin was very kind and helped me to feel as comfortable as I could be for the situation. The staff was pretty polite as well. The establishment its self is really, really outdated which made me feel like I was in past times and a bit uneasy. I work in a hospital so I am pretty accustom to modern technology and esthetics. I feel sanitation wise its old but clean although urine cups should have lids on them given that we have to walk our samples through the waiting room full of people it could easily spill over or be dropped and then what ?? for that reason I didnt sit by the bathroom door.After 7 hours waiting when I got called back for my procedure I walked past a room with a table that had blood on the lower half of it the door was wide open, not cool! Once we get to the room that was supposed to me for me the nurse opens the door with out knocking and there is another girl on the table having a vaccume procedure after that the nurse quickly shut the door and apologized I was immediately escorted back to the waiting room. When I did get to the room all of the tools and equipment were just there on front street including a glass jar with my name written on it, I guess I would have just preferred not to see any of it If not necessary. After the procedure was over I just wanted to leave there as fast as I could I was not comfortable enough to relax I left almost immediately after. I have had to do this once before years ago and the experience was completely different compared to this.Again the people that work there were all pretty kind I did wait there for 7 hours but without complaint because many of the women were traveling from out of state to the clinic was pretty busy so just be prepared to wait a good while.

I have terrible anxiety, so i was very on edge and nervous after reading some of the reviews. i cannot stress enough that all of the bad reviews i saw did not apply to my experience whatsoever. when i first arrived i was greeted by a ton of pro-choice signs & protestors, which immediately eased some of my stress (thank you so much to these people for being here every day and protesting, you’re amazing & you made me feel comfortable). each and every staff member i interacted with treated me with kindness and i did not feel a single ounce of judgement towards me or my situation. everything was explained thoroughly to me, and i really appreciated that. please make sure when you come here, you do not go to the yellow building across the street. they are not a legitimate clinic and they are very hardcore christians, so they will push their beliefs on you and make you feel bad for getting an abortion. thank you Greenville Women’s Clinic for easing my stress and making this an easy process, and a special thank you to the nurse who gave me the pill, thank you for your kindness

Everyone there is very kind and made me feel safe and taken care of. They dont take insurance and I had to wait between talking to people but those things are understandable. I was worried about having a male doctor (they only have male doctors) but he was nice and made me feel comfortable. There were some protestors when we drove in but theyre easy to ignore, and someone was outside directing us away from them. This clinic is doing great things for people who have uteruses and I am so grateful for their care and service.

I want to start off by saying, going into this office isn’t easy no matter the circumstances. But today when I went in a nice lady with long blonde hair looked me in my eyes , she could see the tears , and she said “it’s ok , everything will be ok just have a seat” .. she really has no idea how much that meant to me. Going in I was terrified of being judged, terrified the nurses would be rude , and bothered by their jobs. It was the exact opposite, almost everyone was so kind & reassuring. I would recommend GWC to anyone looking for this kind of care. Thank you GWC for supporting women during such tough times!

Just driving by this establishment on a regular wednesday morning there was a ton of protesters outside and near the entrance. Holding signs that say things you probably don’t need or want to read right now. Be prepared for that, and maybe take someone with you for additional support. Regardless of your circumstances, you are a child of God and He loves you.

I COULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE.They made me feel welcomed, cared about, and were the sweetest people ever while i went through this huge step in my life. Beware there are protesters out front but they play music to drown them out, and have lovely escorts to draw you away from the ignorance.

Ive been going there for over 10 years. It is the best care and safest place for women services. I stand behind the staff and the doctors.

I felt so welcomed! The receptionist was nice and the wait time was not bad at all. I 100% recommend.

I usually dont like male doctors for my lady appointments but the doctor here was fantastic. Wait time was pretty long but the staff was knowledgeable and kind and the doctor listened to my concerns and gave thoughtful responses to find what worked best for me. I felt relaxed, heard and well taken care of. The out of pocket cost without insurance was reasonable and the Dr showed me an app to find low RX prices locally. I will book all my lady appointments at the Greenville womens clinic from now on.Thank you!!!

Why does this establishment only offer abortions to 14 weeks when SC law states abortions have to be performed up to 20 weeks? Just trying to understand, is this up to the clinic? And where can I go to see about an abortion at 14 weeks or past that? I am homeless and in a domestically abusive situation and when I went there at 8 weeks I was told my insurance couldnt be used and turned away because I didnt have the money. Now Im 14 weeks and still cant find a clinic to perform the abortion near me. Is there a legal reason why this clinic should be able to stop providing services to pregnant women past 14 weeks?

Dr. Campbell needs a lot of help he moves entirely too slow for this position if I ever need to come back I’d recommend Dr. Ruffin. Besides they need to hire a new staff everyone seems elder and bothered. I guess because Dr. Ruffin was not in office because they are normally on the ball. This is the worse I’ve ever had to wait and I am hurting and so upset about how slow staff have been today my appointment was at 9 it’s going on 1pm this is awful. Again the next time I’ll wait on the Dr who doesn’t waste anytime and wants to get the job done and it is not Dr. Campbell. The absolute worse.

Staff is so friendly and caring! My OB is booked up until February 2021 and my NP told me to get my iud out I’ve been having a lot of problems and she wanted it out as soon as possible so she referred me here to get it removed. It was quick & easy and Dr Bluffkin was so kind!

My Doctor ( a male older gentlemen) was very nice and informative , and the nurse who accompanied him was also kind. I wanted my IUD taken out and they did it swiftly and informed me on other types of birth control and even tried to help me find a more inexpensive one ( since I don’t have insurance ). Beware of the anti-aborters, they stop every car at the entrance 😐 and tell you not to abort your child ( they aren’t necessarily aggressive but very pushy). The day I went, they had a loud speaker on top of the fence surrounding the building and were calling out each patient who was entering the building ... so yeah they are very intense! 😬

You should really consider who you put in your front counter. The blond lady with hair to her shoulders was rude and had a total lack of empathy. When ask any questions she was short and dismissive. She definitely shouldnt be dealing with people. Just because of my experience I wouldnt recommend this place

Very friendly staff and made sure I understood everything that was going on and answered all my questions. There were a few ppl ahead of me but I was in and out quickly considering everything I went through. Only down fall was they didnt take insurance but then again, thats NOT there fault. The only negative thing I can say is when I was there I was stopped by a protestor outside..she literally blocked off the entrance and exit while I was tryn to leave. A cop should literally sit outside there parking lot bc she literally can cause a accident w what shes doing. There again there are goin to be ppl like that at places like this so it wasnt the clinics fault.

This is an actual health center unlike the one across the street. It is horrifying to see that this wonderful establishment has a lower rating than the Piedmont Women’s Center. It is clear that the medical professionals who work here have the best interest of the patient in mind and are not pushing a political or religious agenda. As the website details, the provide abortions and birth control.

Beware of protestors: The bad reviews probably mistakenly went to the fake clinic. Last I went, the protestors have a “clinic” of their own right next to the Greenville Women’s Clinic. I completely missed the real clinic and mistakenly went to the protestors clinic. When I found the real clinic, the protestors berated me and told me I will go to hell lol I aborted at 3 weeks so it was super early on but was still a difficult choice I had to do alone (no one knew at the time) and the protestors did an amazing job in making me feel worse about myself.My experience at Greenville Women’s Clinic went smoothly and everybody was pleasant.

NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR WOMEN!! Came in a few years ago and have been traumatized ever since. These horrible people LIED TO ME ABOUT MY BODY I wrote a review but clearly they’ve taken it down and the people have a right to know. The doctor there tried to pressure me to keep an unwanted pregnancy made rude assumptions about me and my decision but here’s the kicker when I told her I still wanted to abort they tried to tell me I was probably going to miscarry so just wait then I went to planned parenthood and they said that I didn’t show any signs of miscarrying! They just wanted to to miss the 10 week mark so that getting an abortion would be more difficult for me when I confided to them that I was already in a bad situation. I will not stay silent these awful people should be ashamed of themselves and shouldn’t be called doctors much less trusted. Now for the rest of my life I have to question if my doctor is telling me the truth or following their own twisted agenda. Whoever’s reading this from the clinic I hope you know you caused and continue to cause serious damage to women all over Greenville I don’t know how they sleep at night.

Without insurance, getting a pap smear proved difficult but they allow people to pay up front for an exam which thankfully saved my life! They found cancerous cells on my cervix and treated the problem right away. I am so thankful for this place and the many services they offer for women like me who dont have insurance. Thank you for saving my life.

Very cruel staff that make jokes about eating the aborted babies of mothers who miscarry. I do not recommend this clinic for womens healthcare. No woman should ever have to see signs like this when she goes in for treatment for her miscarried baby.

Went with a friend years ago who was struggling with her decision. The counselor was great , and helped her come to terms with the choice to terminate. I am grateful she had a legal safe procedure and a choice. Thanks!

Excellent care for women all over the state.

These 2 doctors saved my life not once but twice. Ive been a patient for 40 years for obgyn stuff. They do more than abortions. They are great doctors with a kind heart. If you dont want an abortion they will refer you to an agency. I wiuldnt go any where else.

Very kind to my wife who had to have a procedure done. They helped us when no one else would , even when the church people next door harass my wife they took time to speak with her and make sure she was making the decision for her. I cannot applaud them more

I had to go here to get a positive pregnancy test in order for a ultrasound from the doctor. I was 16 when I got pregnant and very scared.( I had already decided i was keeping my baby if I was pregnant. After I took the test in the bathroom I was taken into a room with two other women. One older one younger. I exspected to go over my choices with them. (Adoption, abortion, parenthood) but instead they pulled out a bible and started preaching to me after I kindly told them I was not religious when they ask. They made me feel very pressured to keep my child and I felt like I was going to hell if I didn’t. They continued to preach to me and told me when I said I didn’t know if I could do this “ well have you ever thought about abstinence “. That to me meant “ to bad this is your life now” When my mom came into the room they completely changed there energy. Telling my mom I was strong. Looking back that was inappropriate. This is a “ your choice “ clinic. But I honestly felt like some of the people working there were working there to prevent abortion. They took advantage of my mind because I was young.

Wonderful doctor and staff. Dr. Campbell was engaging, genuine, and informative. The process took 2 hours but very thorough and caring team.

Great place but I don’t like the fact that there is no privacy or what I am there for. They ask you what you are there for while the window is open and they ask you so loud everyone can hear. I don’t want people in my business..

Not only does this clinic understand that it is a WOMANS CHOICE, they have a GREAT sense of humor with their signs. If I ever need any help, I’ll definitely be visiting this clinic!

They aborted my girlfriends baby fast, and efficiently. We did not want a baby, and birth control failed. We came here for help, and decided abortion was our best option, and the abortion process was actually quite simple and prices were great. Be did the vacuum suction, where the doctor inserts the tool and dismantles the baby, then it is suctioned out. Problem solved! Quick and easy . They even have a councilor there !!!

Very kind and friendly nurses, and the doctor was very knowledgable, professional, and caring as well. Front/administrative staff wasnt great or welcoming, but the medical staff was wonderful.

After experiencing pain for over a month I finally came here for an exam and ultrasound... I had been carrying a miscarriage for a month :( caused by an IUD!!extremely upset .. But they assisted with the removal process kindly and provided me with counseling for miscarriages, thank God which helped me a lot . my normal gyno did not discover my miscarriage! But this facility did and helped me greatly . I feel better after physically.. And emotional. . if you feel like something isnt right get a Second opinion ! It could seriously save you!

Super friendly staff and doctors. I will be coming here every year to get my ladies annual check up. The herd of anti-aborters at the entrance makes the facility noticeable from the street.

I went last weekend had the vac procedure I woke up with gigantic clots from a half done procedure i was 11 weeks had to go in the hospital and get it redone

I just have a question. Do they deal with anything? I am having severe pains in my lower back to the left. My mom thinks Im just having my first kidney stones but this pain had been happening for WEEKS now and Im getting kinda worried.

Incredible place with an incredible staff. Few places have made me feel more cared for or safer than the doctors and nurses here did.

Wonderful place, all the staff are awesome and understanding. Watch out if you go on a weekend- some people can be really vicious and evil and will stand outside screaming at you.

Doctor and nurses are nice. Place is clean. Wic personal are not very friendly or accommodating. Nutritionist was nice and friendly.

This place is dangerous for women. They have a very nasty facility, smells like rotting meat when you go in the door, rude staff and all over bad environment!

Staff is rude !! They make you sit for HOURS in room. I went for 8:30 appointment and wasnt attended till 10:30. Follow up appointment they claim to be fees free but what you get in return is long waiting and rude attitude of staff.

Love both practitioners. I do my well woman visits at this clinic due to lack of insurance. Very affordable.
