It’s hard to put into words how much I appreciate Maire and her work. I had been going through fertility treatments for nearly 10 years when I met Maire and her guidance changed everything for us. Her advice, knowledge, and expertise came at a time when we had almost given up. Her calming presence and encouragement were a big comfort during such an overwhelming process. She then was so great during my pregnancy helping me with all of the new side effects of growing a tiny human! In addition to fertility, I was also suffering from migraines which Maire was able to help me with. We now have a happy baby and cannot thank Maire enough for all of her help and good health!

I was visiting Honolulu with my husband for a few months and during my down time decided to finally try out acupuncture. During my search for the right acupuncturist, I found Maire. I was drawn to the passion for her practice and knowledge that came across through her Instagram and website. Im so glad I found her! I had been dealing with a lot of anxiety/depression within the past year. I saw Maire almost once a week for two months. Not only did she heal me and create space for me, she taught me so much about acupuncture, qi gong, herbs and Chinese Medicine. She has such a wealth of knowledge, but whats really admirable is that she remains a student and is always learning something new to bring to her clients. Not long after returning home from Hawaii, I found out that I was expecting. My husband and I had been trying for awhile and it wasnt until right before leaving Hawaii that I got pregnant, I like to think that Maires treatments created the space in my body to conceive. Ive been on a peaceful journey ever since and wish Maire was here in DC for my regular acupuncture treatments, not to mention shes such a delight to be around. Ill definitely be making a visit to work with her again!

Beginning my acupuncture treatments at Mala Healing Arts is one of the best decisions Ive made since working in downtown. My chronic shoulder pains would not go away no matter the x amount of times I would have deep tissue massages. The acupuncture treatments have really helped the pain to subside. Ive also had improved peace of mind from my sessions that have worked on my stress levels and overall wellbeing. The sessions are competitively priced and youre treated individually based on your day-to-day symptoms. I feel very much cared for by Maire.
