Planned Parenthood - Northwest Health Center

Had my IUD removed and it was quick no complications. I have no insurance and if u have low income u could qualify for 100% coverage for contraception which was really great. Everyone was also nice. Overall I would recommend.

This location has been the best Ive been to. I live in the south west area near Stafford and the 2 locations near me suck. The Stafford location was very slow, but i mean, slooowwww....My appointment was at 10am and I got there at 9am filled out paperwork turned it in and I didnt get attended until about 1pm. This location in northwest is way better only waited 15 minutes and I was called and I was out of there in less than an hour. I will come back to this location again. Friendly and caring staff. I giveThis location more than 5 stars if I could.

I was a bit skeptical going here since Im new to Texas & due to some of the reviews but I went in for a womens wellness and was in and out in an hour. Im literally in the waiting room waiting for my referral.The front desk staff was polite at check in, medical assistant staff was very nice and friendly. Dr. Reyna was awesome. She was very thorough with my exam I explained to her that breast cancer runs in my family and how nervous I was she gave me some very great advice and provided me with a list of providers as well as advising me to get tested for the gene. I will definitely come back.

Front desk staff are absolutely awful. I had my first appointment here today and they are so off-putting I considered leaving and getting my birth control taken out at another location.But I’m glad I stayed. The nurses are kind, empathic, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable when I was nervous and answered all my questions, without making me feel silly for asking them.I’m not sure if I will return, however, even though the nurses are awesome. It’s just really jarring having my first point of contact be with unhelpful, lazy, and rude front desk staff.For context: The door at this location is locked and you are dependent on front desk staff to let you in. These women watched me from inside (I couldn’t see in as the windows are a one way mirror) for TEN MINUTES standing outside in the rain trying to get let in. There was no doorbell or alternative way to contact whoever is inside that I could see.I never heard the sound of being buzzed in until AFTER I called the PP hotline and that representative called the office and told them to buzz me in.Then once I finally got in the woman at the front desk had a nasty attitude with me, as if me being locked out and her not doing a single thing to help me somehow inconvenienced her.Either company policy is to not have staff members physically open the door when clients are having trouble getting buzzed in, in which case no one bothered to buzz me in until I called the hotline. Or these women watched me standing outside for ten minutes and were too lazy to get up and help me inside.No matter which option is correct, the nasty attitude of the woman at the front desk towards me once I got inside was despicable. I hope someone talks to her about her disgusting attitude - judging from the reviews here, I’m guessing I’m not the only person she’s been rude to.UPDATE: I was told during this visit that my insurance covered the entire cost of the removal service. Now Im being told by my insurance that I owe $411 for this. Do not go here, unless you enjoy being treated like dirt and lied to.

I had to reschedule my original appointment due to long wait time, but to be fair they did inform me they were a bit behind. On the second visit, all staff was super friendly and informative. I was there to consult on an IUD implant, and was only expecting to be seen for a consultation, but they said I could receive the implant same day. That was great as it meant I didn’t have to schedule another appointment! Again, everyone was super friendly and answered all of my questions.

First time ever visiting a Planned Parenthood and it was such a pleasant experience. All the women who work here are so friendly and kind. I highly recommend the nurse practitioner Monette - she was fantastic!

Raina B Randall, NP is the MOST amazing as well as her staff and assistants (I wish I had gotten their names because I would’ve listed them too because the women who helped me were all amazing). I had never visited a Planned Parenthood prior to this and everyone there was lovely and kind. They truly made my experience (IUD removal and re-insertion) there a good one. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

I was almost hesitant to book an appointment here due to the bad reviews that I saw, but I’m glad I did! I’m in Houston for work and needed to make a wellness appointment. Raina was my clinician and she was the sweetest woman! Everyone there was very kind, but Raina made me feel very comfortable during my wellness check. Would definitely recommend them :)

Excellent service! It was my first time and I felt like I had better care and attentiveness from the nurse and doctor than I would at a regular gyno! The only con was how long it took, even though I had an appointment. What I thought would be 1 hr took almost 3hrs. Just lots of waiting time between everything... So just make sure youre not in a rush to get somewhere 😉

5 years ago I got my Nexplanon inserted at this location with no issues whatsoever and recovery was 4-5 days with no scar left behind. Just recently I went in to get my Nexplanon removed. I had no issues nor pain while getting it removed it has now been 5 days and my procedure has healed perfectly fine. Overall service given to me was good only con is wait time is a bit longer.

Descent place, I love planned parenthood. But, when I specifically request for a physical exam when making my appointment I expect to get just that. If my insurance covers it, I expect it. Not told after I waited an hour for the doctor to come in and tell me they only do it if there is something already wrong!Why would I wait til theres something wrong to finally come in. I already told them I have breast and cervical cancer in my family that Id prefer to get looked at. Especially since my moms mammogram came back with something on it. Happened twice to me already! Complete disservice! Last time Im going to planned parenthood, sorry guys youve disappointed me time and time again.

I had a wonderful experience with this location from beginning to end. All the ladies were so friendly and helpful. I could tell from the start that they cared more than any other gyno office Ive been to.

I usually never leave reviews. However, my experience at this clinic was awful. I had two separate appointments here and both times was misdiagnosed with a yeast infection. I went through so many prescriptions of fluconazole and twice with terconazole. No relief and no help. I ended up booking an appointment with a different OBGYN who gave me a different diagnosis and medications. When I went in person to tell them they had misdiagnosed me twice and asked for a refund, the manager refused to give me one telling me they saw “yeast present” even after I told them I was given an alternative diagnosis and the prescriptions they gave me did not help me. I am not insured, so I understand how frustrating and stressful it is to pay for doctor’s visits out of pocket. However, in this case, you are better off paying a little more with a clinic that will do a proper test on you. I regret ever going to them in the first place, and for paying so much for prescriptions and appointments that did not do anything for me the past two months.

The front desk lady was great. But I was there for an hour plus for a shot that takes less than five minutes. I had to leave because I’ll be in traffic for over an hour which I already am. The lady on the phone before I called assured I would be done in 5-10 mins. She did tell me they were under staffed. I get it. But yooooo, it’s a shot. My insurance covered it so no payment. This is not the first time at a different location off 45, which is higher volume but I waited two hours here because they “forgot” about me. It’s just frustrating. I’m sure they’re great and I support PP in all ways but they always gotta do me wrooooong.

The employees are fairly nice although it takes waaaaay to long for your scheduled appointment. My girlfriends appointment was for 9:50 and we waited 2 hours just for a depo shot. Also they really dont hold your appointment time aplicable because there were people with later times that got in to the doctors room before we did.

I got an IUD placed and they were so patient and kind when I struggled so much afterwards. Ive also been experiencing the least amount of cramping from any IUD placement

Went into this clinic on 7/20/21 for an appointment. Was pulled back to give a urine sample. While waiting for a drink of water (because I had shy bladder) from the Medical assist. I coughed. She came back a few moments later and proceeded to tell me I would have to reschedule my appointment until a time when I feel better because it’s a symptom of covid. Firstly I don’t feel bad, I have allergies! Nor do I have any other “symptom” related to covid. No fever no chills no nothing else! I’ve been vaccinated and I work for a medical facility in which I go to every single day without any issues! This was a waste of 1 hour! Everything is back open from covid and 1 small cough does not automatically mean I have covid! Covid excuses have just provided a way for businesses to refuse you services at their discretion. As a medical facility you would think that they would look deeper into a situation before making that type of judgement and inconveniencing their patients. Won’t be wasting my time coming back and if you sneeze too loud be prepared to be rescheduled!

I came here for treatment of my endometriosis but what I got was a subpar exam, no real advice and nothing for the pain which was made worse by the fore mentioned exam. The Physician said shed give me a referral because I was likely going to need surgery but at the end of the visit I was told Id have to find my own obgyn (seriously). I had to pay, out of pocket by the way, for these people to basically do nothing and tell me to go find a doctor. I feel like they pretty much stole from me, money they knew I didnt have for them to do absolutely nothing.

I didnt realize, I had to come into this plan parenthood until the day before. due to my mistake thinking I had made a appointment at a different location , front desk was nice and the Dr. Was to .... I was in and out in a blink of an eye !! Thank u all for making me feel very comfortable ,I will comeback & I do recommend this place

The staff are extremely rude. I had an appointment for 4:30p I ask to use the restroom. They did not allow me to use the restroom. Nobody act like they could talk or even allow me to simply use the restroom. I had to use the restroom across the street at the golden coral. It was such an bad experience

After 2 failed attempts at IUD insertion (and I’ve had one before), I requested a prescription for the NuvaRing, brand name only. I had unbearable side effect with the generic. It’s been OVER A MONTH and the prior authorization, which was sent from by pharmacy, STILL has not been filled out. It’s too difficult to reach the office itself. I can’t believe I paid for this!Update: Went to a real OB/GYN for the IUD, there was no problem, only took one try.

I had been misdiagnosed at another gynecologist I continued having issues so I finally decided to try Plan Parenthood ,trust me best decision ever! They diagnosed me right away and they were right!!! Three months later I have no more problems.I will forever rely on Planned Parenthood for my feminine issues.

I started having an anxiety attack in the building and the staff were super accommodating and helpful while I calmed down. explained everything i needed to know and answered all the questions i had. leaving this review specifically to thank the women who dealt with me LMAO ❤️

Friendly staff! I was in and out of there in about an hour. I went to get birth control and the staff was very caring and friendly. The location is in a safe area and the clinic is clean.

They inserted my implant in my arm wrong and placed it into my tissue instead it was the worst pain I felt going in and I had to get it surgically removed. some of the ladies and physicians have terrible attitudes and are rude i wouldnt recommend coming here.

This is a lovely place, the staff are so nice and paitent with you. I have been to this location many times in the last two years and never had a problem. Thank yall for all you do!
