Freezing your eggs is an extremely empowering experience. My initial experience with CCRM was great. However I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and communication provided by this practice. Since I have now tried for 2 months and well over 20 phone calls and voicemail to reach someone from the practice management with no response, I will share my experience here. Hopefully I can save someone from similar stress. After year 2 of freezing, the price for storage increased from $600 to $1300 with little explanation. While I understand that some increase is inevitable, I spoke with the main facility who says this price comes from CCRM directly. I have called billing and left multiple messages to call me and discuss - no phone call back. I then spoke with a nurse, operator, spoke with a neighboring CCRM who explained that they would send a message to the practice manager Priya who has not called me back. She is always in a meeting no matter what time I call. I should also mention, my billing date was last week and I cannot even find anyone to discuss how to pay my bill, safety of my specimens or potential for transfer. This has created a grave sense of distrust with the storage and management of my precious oocytes. The way I am being treated as a patient is horrendous. I should mention that I am a physician, and if I found my practice was being operated this way I would be ashamed. While Dr. Nodler was great at the time of the egg freezing, please save your energy and go elsewhere.

If you are considering egg freezing with CCRM, I urge you to be cautious and consider other options. At the time of my procedure to retrieve my eggs, the annual storage fee was $660. Before one year of storage was complete, they raised in to $700. A few months later, exactly one year after my eggs were retrieved, they have raised the price to $1,250. Thats an 89% price increase in just one year. Sometimes prices have to go up - I understand that. But 89%? This is not out of necessity - this is greed. Before entrusting this company with such valuable and precious parts of your body, please consider that they will quite literally be holding your future hostage. I can either pay their ever increasing exorbitant fees or risk losing my potential to have children forever. Please consider how deeply sad and depraved this is.The average cost of egg storage in this country is $700-$1000 a year. This company has decided to raise their price to $1,250 a year, because women who want to start a family one day are vulnerable and easily exploited by greedy, money-hungry decision-makers.

They reschedule once with all notification emails and my permission. I went to the office on the rescheduled day, they actually rescheduled again without my permission/email notification. I went to the clinic for nothing. They charge patients a fee if they dont download the app before two days or show up, what clinic pays for the patient then? The front desk lady even didn’t even apologize, but passive-aggressively said “Yes ma’am…” with so rude and discriminative attitude.

I posted a review & removed it previously because I wanted to finish the entire process. We are now 5 months pregnant and here’s my takeaway from working with CCRM. Overall, most of the staff is amazing. But, they truly lack communication. Our biggest issue we dealt with was being given a heads up for when payments are due. They have you sign tons of paperwork, which yes, most of it’s on there, but easy to overlook. They don’t make it very clear in the beginning. Just when the paperwork is sent. Lastly, once you’re pregnant, I would recommend not doing the follow up ultrasounds. If I had known we were going to be charged extra for that, I would’ve much rather just went to my OB. It wasn’t included in the overall price & we only got to talk to the sonographer, so we were left in the dark when it came to a lot of early pregnancy things. Just skip that part and schedule your initial appt with the OB.

Navigating fertility and the many practices out there can be anxiety inducing but I’m so glad I chose CCRM and I highly recommend it!Dr. Nodler was exceptionally patient and kind. He answered all of our questions, from the nitpicky to the hypothetical, thoroughly and provided us guidance on the options we sought out and what made the most sense for our personal goals.Tiffany, our nurse, was incredibly compassionate and prompt with her explanations and answers. I loved that I could call or message her and get a reply back within hours, it made for a stress free process. The entire staff at the clinic is incredibly nice and supportive, always ensuring that wait times are minimized and that asynchronous questions via the app or calls are always answered. CCRM’s commitment to quality care made what could have been a daunting experience a very smooth and easy one instead.

I can’t say enough good things about CCRM Houston. Finding out your only hope to have a child is via IVF is very overwhelming and in truth, devastating. I researched for hours and knew CCRM was the right choice for us. Dr. Nodler and his nurse Tiffany are true heroes. We have felt confident in our treatment plans and truly cared for the entire journey. Not everyone has success on the first try, but so far we have. We were able to get enough PGT-A normal embryos from our first egg retrieval to have the family we desire, and we are 9 weeks pregnant with our first transfer. We are so grateful and cannot express how amazing Dr. Nodler, Tiffany and the entire staff have been. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We love you!

I have called and emailed multiple times for 2 month just trying to get my blood work result and other test results and I still don’t have them. I did the egg retrieval at the other location where they messed up my prescriptions. If you don’t mind adding more frustrations to this process, go with CCRM. The doctors are good but nothings else are.

Unprofessional, no empathy, Dr. McKnight is not self aware and very arrogant. Did not call with our results, left us waiting all weekend. Told me after one try she would not try again bc of my age and bc I experienced pain after the procedure. Ladies, do not allow a Dr like this to steal your dreams, it’s ok to be in pain after an invasive procedure and is quite normal to give patient’s Tylenol 3 after an egg retrieval. It’s not necessary to have cysto, they will try to tell you otherwise, just another painful procedure they will tell you is no big deal and perform wide awake with no pain relief. McKnight is rehearsed, insensitive and will play off any pain you have, it’s your problem. She only admitted how little our chances were until after she got her money and procedures billed, then told me I have little to no chance.

Our doctor was Katherine McKight and although she was absolutely incredible the rest of CCRM is not. I have received multiple bills from them which is understandable and expected, however I have left multiple messages with their financial department to make payments and they have yet to return my calls. Now they are messing up our credit because we are unable to pay said bills because of the lack of effort on their end. You can send a bill but can’t seem to pick up the phone for a payment? If we knew CCRM was going to be like this we never, ever would have chosen them. Despite having good doctors and staff everything else is complete trash. How can I continue to try and grow my family if y’all are out here destroying my and my husbands credit because you simply cannot find time to answer the phone?

Doctor Nodler was very helpful, he answered all of the questions and concerns both my husband and I had. The nurses were phenomenal as well, very kind and informative. Checking in was quick and easy , the receptionist always friendly.when we began our process the nurses gave us step by step forms to review what we would need to do and provided a day one call line. They returned phone calls within an hour, and again answered all questions I had. We were successful on cycle # 2 . I am now happily 3 months pregnant. I would definitely recommend Dr. Nodler and the CCRM family. I had a wonderful experience .

Dr. Nodler and ccrm were very informative and made sure I completed all bloodwork and exams needed to see where to start. He seemed confident in telling me how we were going to go about this and that was comforting. Special thanks to Ms. hill (IVFcoordinator) for all her support and call backs when I was anxious about things. I’m excited to start this journey and I pray GOD blesses me with a little one soon!!

Good luck getting ahold of anyone. Impossible to get an appointment scheduled without waiting days for a call back. Unless you have all the time in the world to accommodate their schedule and never yours, I suggest you look elsewhere.

We have been thrilled with CCRM!! We conceived our daughter (almost 2) in 2016 after a round of IVF and are just starting the process of a FET to try and conceive a second child. Dr. Nodler and his nurse Amelia (and all other staff for that matter) have been outstanding every step of the way!! I can not recommended this practice enough!!

Poor experience. I was sent here for a lab test to be run, and the results were lost and not provided to my primary physician. When I called to locate the results, staff could not reach the Andrologist to find out what happened with the test and results.
