I’ve been coming to doctor Leonard for 3 years she deliver both of my babies which I had back to back. She delivered one vag and the other C-section. She is very good at what she does. Both times I healed up fast and she stitched me up real good you can hardly see the C-section scar. I was so impressed. Her staff is very nice and helpful. They remember you by name and they always make you feel comfortable.wait time is never long unless she had to over book and you still won’t be in too long. I had a great experience and shout out to ms Nakia and Victoria they are awesome!! Book y’all appointment and I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.

This office of ladies is amazing!! As a woman of color to see an office that can relate to my needs as far as my feminine care!! They are always professional. You can ask any questions and they will have answers and explanations of what you’ll need for care. I am very impressed with the service always!! And they are affordable!! Keep up the good work ladies!!

I been coming here for years , Nurse Victoria is always a pleasure , shes gentle and willing to answer any questions you have health wise even if its not related to the appointment ...Dr. Leonard was very professional and polite , the staff is always friendly ...Ive never waited long than 15mins and the appointment is never longer than an hour

I’ve been coming here for about two years, always have been seen by Victoria and she is great. She recommended a great birth control when I was having issues choosing. When I tell her all my concerns, she always has an answer or solution that works or makes me feel comfortable. She is always very gracious and patient when I ask a million questions. The nurses are also very courteous and helpful. The office is fairly clean and they’re great at reminding me when I have future appointments or scheduling. The most important part, I always feel informed, safe and positive about my care when I leave the office, which to me that is key when leaving any doctors office. Definitely a recommended place!

It was my first visit to Dr. Leonard as my OBGYN of many years retired last year. It’s always tough to begin a new relationship with a doctor because one never knows if it will be a good fit until the appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the office staff and was instantly put at ease. I felt welcomed and even appreciated for coming. The nurses were kind and helpful and Dr. Leonard was super sweet. I felt like she really took the time to listen and get to know me. The exam was through and professional. I am very happy to be Dr. Leonard’s patient now and going forward into the future.

I have been a patient of Dr. Leonard for 11 years. She delivered my son, Silas, in 2010. She is sweetest, kindest, most caring doctor I have ever come across. She does not rush her patients and she answers all of my questions, and I usually have many. She takes her time and explains things thoroughly and really has a way of putting ones mind at ease. Most recently, I have experienced many problems and each time she and her staff treat me with the utmost respect. They are all so compassionate and truly understanding. Her office is the best!

Dr. Leonard is absolutely amazing! She literally is the best doctor Ive ever had. I was blessed with 2 pregnancies (one with twins,) and she was right by my side every step of the way. She answered every question, I never felt rushed, it was worth the wait for every visit because of the peace of mind I had when I left. Her staff is very friendly and professional. Im so grateful to have such a wonderful OBGYN, and I truly appreciate how everyone there makes me feel like Im more than just another co-pay.

They do not make Doctors like Dr. Leonard anymore. She is hands down the most interactive doctor I’ve ever had. She is attentive and informative. She addressed any and every concern-she comes with a well organized staff! I will always sing her praises for helping us bring our baby boy here! Dr Denise Leonard is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. She’s also an excellent surgeon.Dr Denise had preformed c-section operation on me and it was outstanding. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient.

Ms. Leonard delivered my daughter back in 2009. Had an amazing experience with her! She treated me and my husband very well and we both loved her. I would definitely recommend her. One of the VERY BEST!

Dr. Leonard delivers my last two babies. From start to finish her and her team were polite, sensitive and professional. There is not a long wait to be seen in her office. You can usually get an appointment fairly quickly. I had complete peace of mind. We are now blessed with two healthy baby girls delivered by cesarean section due to my first child being emergency cesarean and 7 weeks early.

Doctor Leonard is so sweet and professional. She really put me at ease, and made me feel comfortable after having a bad experience a year ago. She made sure that I was not in pain and I trust her. She delivered my son and made sure that I was ok. Thank you so much for your professionalism and patience.

Had my first appointment today and I literally cant say enough about my experience. The staff was amazing!! I was seen by Dr. Leonards nurse practitioner and she was beyond helpful. Very knowledgeable and welcomed any and all questions that I had and most of all very personable, there was not an ounce of discomfort when dealing with her.

Dr Leonard is superb, smart and calming. Ive been her patient for over 2 years and recently had a scheduled c-sec. Her staff, every one of them, are exceeding competent and kind. The only time there is a long wait is on Thursdays (sonogram day) so I try to avoid appointments on that day. I really appreciate everyone at this office.

I love Dr. Leonard and everyone has always been very nice to me but the reason why they didnt get a five from me is because NOBODY ever answers the phone! I have only gotten one live person ONE time! It always goes to voice mail, and then they do not return calls on a timely manner. Someone from their office called me regarding test results, I barely had missed their call so I called right back, went into voice mail - I didnt even bother leaving a message. Please correct your phone system and get back to your patients on a timely manner... we deserve at least the courtesy of a call back within one business day!

I loved this office. Every one there was incredibly sweet and helpful. I had an amazing experience with the staff every time I went for an appt. unfortunately my baby passed during Hurricane Harvey, but Dr. Leonard was extremely helpful during my hospital stay and every time at her office. She answered all my questions and did it with such grace. They all brought me great comfort while I attended my post op appt. thank you to every staff there specially to Rosa...she was the kindest person there.

Doctor Leonard is the kindest, most caring person ever. She is highly intelligent and understands all aspects of womens healthcare. She is the best doctor (of any kind) I have ever had. I honestly wish every doctor was just like her. Dr. Leonard delivered my two most recent children and cared for multiple concerns during and after my pregnancies. I cannot be thankful enough for my entire experience as a woman under Dr. Leonards care.

Dr. Leonard and her staff are wonderful. By far the best OB/GYN and staff I have ever encountered. She delivered my two girls. And I will always recommend her or refer someone to her. She’s very calm and consistent. Very nurturing and caring. With my first daughter she was the ONLY doctor out of about 10 drs to see me since I was so late in my pregnancy. And she made my first pregnancy a dream and addressed all of my concerns. She is very sweet and her voice calms me and my spouse. I love her staff they are very helpful and always answer my questions and I always am able to speak with someone from her office when I call. I always receive a confirmation email when scheduling and a confirmation text regarding my appointment time. Her nurse practitioners are great as well! I could go on and on about dr Leonard, her office, staff, service and nurse practitioner. Never do I feel rushed or pushed aside. Each person takes their time with me. Sometimes there can be a wait but I will always wait on her services.. def wouldn’t trade the office, staff, dr, np. So happy and blessed we were able to find dr Leonard. Thank you!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Leonard to review some test results. I felt very comfortable and she actually listened to my concerns. Unlike other doctors that I have encountered, she is not looking to perform operations and procedures just to make money. I first want to thank Nakia the receptionist/nurse that assisted me. It was my first phone call to dr Leonards office, I spoke with Nakia, who was absolutely amazing at what she does. Nakia was very knowledgeable and took the time to go above and beyond to assist me, that let me know the staff really care and are there to help you along the way. On my appointment day I met dr Leonard, she went over my concerns, and talked to me about my options. Dr leonard was was awesome, she has a calming effect on you. . Love Dr.Leonard and her staff!! Very patient and professional.. I had my first born with her 4 years ago and was the best experience! I referred my cousin to her as well and she also just had her 1st baby with dr Leonard and she thanked me because she also had great service and felt very comfortable as dr Leonard was taking her through her pregnancy!! Dr Leonard is now taking me through the process of having my second child and the experience is even more special as it was 4 years ago!!!

She is one of the best doctor I know in Houston. After refusing to take the case of my wife from some so called doctor she is the one who take the case and from beginning to the end she was very responsive on either phone or at hospital. Every hour she called hospital on the day and she was there late night. I respect her for her professional and so caring act and never forget her. God Bless you.

Front desk staff are so non-chalant, hostile, and unprofessional, the slim tall African American woman is the worst. Who would have thought that trying to see an African American Obgyn would be this toxic & and strenuous... over 3 hours, and I didnt get to see the doctor. I cant rate the doctor because I didnt wait to see, I just cant imagine myself dealing with her hostile front desk staff anytime I come in, so I left. She needs better help upfront.

Was my first visit and I was nervous never met Dr. Leanard before but I left being very satisfied and content she made me feel comfortable. She was very thorough and I was sorry we didn’t meet years ago. I will recommend her to all my colleagues.

When I first called to set an appointment I was put on hold for 15 minutes and ended up hanging up. I should’ve taken that as a sign but decided to call back. I was able to schedule the appointment at that point but haven’t been able to reach anyone in the office since then regarding my appointment. I ended up cancelling online because I just don’t see things going well from this point.

Was the first obgyn id ever gone to when i first started getting my pap smears. I moved and still was willing to make the drive because i liked her staff and i believe her name is Victoria is the greatest (although id never even met the actual doctor during this whole time). Then when i was trying to make an appointment the number id always call went from going directly to her office to going to a call center, who never returned my call to make the appointment. I ended up switching doctors.

I have been going here with all of my pregnancies, this is my fourth pregnancy and I absolutely love dr Leonard! I could imagine going to another OB for my care threw out my pregnancy and my delivery’s! My sister goes here and my cousin goes here and we just love her! She’s amazing!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Leonard and her beautiful colleague Doctor W. Thank you Niccola NP, and all of the amazing team members. Each and everyone are exceptionally friendly. Dr. Leonard helped me to control my gestational diabetes and post pregnancy I’m not a diabetic because she counseled me to eat more healthier. My baby girl Shanaya had a heart issue early detected by Dr. Leonard colleague whom specializes in that area. Doctor T. he is so wonderful and his amazing team members are too. Naya heart issue did cease 3 months prior to delivery. Dr. Leonard is very knowledgeable and compassionate in her career. I would definitely recommend her to be your Obgyn for excellent delivery. I must say that her warmth demeanor is so pleasant and comfortable. I’m forever grateful and Glory to God I’m very thankful to have a beautiful and healthy baby girl. The staff has excellent customer service. Dr. Leonard is amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure her patient is comfortable and has a full understanding and all questions answered.

I waited a month for an appointment here because of the good reviews on Dr. Leonard, but I was highly disappointed with my experience with the staff. First, I did not receive a confirmation call the day before or the day of my appointment. That morning I called myself to verify the time. They told me the time and I left work early to make it there. I got there 10 minutes early. The lady at the front desk didnt open the window until 10-15 minutes later when someone else arrived as well. She helped the next person first and then called me up to tell me I was too late because first time appointments have to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was never told that when I scheduled or called to verify my appointment. Since I wasnt told that, she went ahead and gave me the paperwork. I filled it out and then proceeded to wait. Next, the person who called me to go back to a room looked very rude and had an attitude. She asked me why I was there (irregular periods) and then told me my insurance would not cover that and I would have to pay out of pocket. I verified with the insurance that they would cover the visit, but the staff would not help me further. I basically wasted 2+ hours of my work day for no reason. Why couldnt they verify the insurance and give me that information prior to my appointment? I work in the healthcare field and the treatment I received was unacceptable. All of the staff members I encountered had poor customer service skills. I would avoid this place unless you have nothing to do and have all day to wait around in the office.

Dr. Leonard and her staff really considered me and my situation first. I appreciated that approach. All too often I have been treated like a number and there was a timer on my visit. Not here. Everyone is very patient focused.

I feel like it’s kinda unfair that I left work early to get to my appointment breaking street rules and because I wasn’t able to get here 30mins early which NO ONE told me I needed to be here 30mins early, my appointment was canceled. My appointment was at 1pm and I made it at 12:51 pm and was told I couldn’t see the doctor. I was even willing to wait for a later time today this being the only day I could get off and the nurse at the front was not even trying to work with me. Sigh extremely disappointed, the search continues , it’s extremely hard to find well reviewed Black Gynecologist.

Dr. Leonard has the most sweetest spirit! Her kind, gentle bedside manner and approach is perfect for her profession. I highly recommend her if you’re in search of a true professional Ob/Gyn.

Always an easy appointment. Great staff. Nurses and doctors are excellent, very helpful and informative. I highly recommend this practice. After moving to Corpus, I still come here because they are always make these visits as pleasant and easy as possible

Dr is nice but can never get thru when I call. The number listed online never answers and doesn’t even have a voicemail it just goes straight to it and hangs up and the number listed on the appointment card doesn’t even work. I’ve been calling all day and can’t get thru. Also they didn’t discuss a diagnosis with me at my dr I ended up at the Hospital which was dangerous for me and my pregnancy. Definitely not worth the hassle as my pregnancy is high risk and they are not even taking care of my health

So Grateful to find this Doc and staff! I have been with the same Dr since 13 and moved to Houston. Recently needing a OB/Gyn I searched nervously through tons of Drs. Made a appt. They took me promptly, the nurse was kind and helpful. The Dr was knowledgeable and patient. She knew I was nervous so she helped guide me. My husband agrees that this place is going to be our go to for future appt even if we have to switch insurances. The team is definitely worth it. You wont be dissapointed.

I called to make a family planning appointment several weeks ago. They call one week in advance and tell me they dont do that there. If they had told me this in the first place I wouldnt have made an appointment since they are so hard to come by. They wasted my time because now I have to make an appointment at another OB and wait several more weeks. I was very hopeful since she had such great reviews but this was disappointing. Will never recommend to someone.

She was a good doctor throughout my pregnancy but when it was time to deliver c-section, she went on holiday that was planned and had another young doctor deliver my baby........very dissapointed!! Since didnt know what to expect being a first time mom and having someone I never met deliver my baby!!

Very disappointed with staff! When i called a few days before requested an emergency appoinment. I spoke to one of the staff members and explained my situation. After all that, she told me she wasnt able to open her portal to look at my ct results. So she told me that she would have to call me as soon as she was able to. I asled her if i could get booked and she once again promised she would call me back. Today is Wednesday i just got out of the hospital again and contacted their office to ask about my appoinment. Another staff member told me to leave my phone number and she would call me back. As of yet no response! I called a moment ago and now its closed.😑 Patient relations needs to be involved!

They do not run pregnancy tests on new patients unless it is directly requested. The nurse practitioner was very nice, but did not fully exam me. They were not punctual, my appointment was for 9:30 and I was not able to leave (just their office, had to go downstairs for bloodwork once they finally finished with me) until almost 11:30.They told me that they would call with results whether they came back good or bad, and I never recieved that call. When I called to ask about it, the lady was VERY rude, and spoke to me as if I were wasting her time.EDIT:I called back once more, willing to give the office a second chance.I was hung up on by their answering service. When I finally got ahold of somebody who actually worked there and asked about a follow up appointment for a procedure I had done elsewhere recently, the staff was very rude, and very quick to pass personal judgement and ridicule.Over all, this office is very unwelcoming, rude, and very unprofessional.

I been coming to this office for five years and never have I ever dealt with disrespect from someone who is not the doctor but an ASSISTANT. This office has the most ghetto staff and that years ago one of them took my number and was texting me. I decided not to say anything because I didn’t want to get anyone fired but today is enough. I took off work for this appointment for them not to be clear on the phone about my health. I was sat in the room where they told me a doctor would be there but never showed for about 15-20 mins. I will never be at this office again because the communication and professionalism is way off here. I don’t know what happened to the staff from when I first started going here but they really need to come back!

I’ve been trying to communicate with them to set an appointment but no one ever answers the phone its as if they purposely reject the call or just not want to answer, i need my prescription refilled and i can’t contact them!

Dr. Leonard is the best obgyn. She is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor. I highly recommend anyone that needs a good doctor who will listen and will exceed your expectation.

The best obgyn in the world goes to this lady Denise Leonard , more than a doctor, she was my mom , my push to get better , my mental health healer during my pregnancies , delivered through all 3 of my pregnancies and did a DAMN good job , healed with no issues , and ohhh baby the staff behind her is so loving and patient , I’ll never cheat on her when it come to anything with my body I’ll bet my last on Leonard and Victoria !!!!!

Her stuff so mean attitude . 😠 i didnt like it. I went for birth control , she didnt wanna to do what i request she want to give me her options. then she say she will call me when it was ready to the next process is been 2 weeks and nothing so basically she charged to my insurance plus 35 dollar copay for nothing .
