Gold Star Family Care

This was my first time at this clinic and can I just say that the customer service is super great! The young lady that checked me in was very helpful and super sweet! I can’t remember the receptionist name but she was wearing neon cat scrubs, how cute!!! There was no wait time and they were quick to see me, the nurse that saw me took very good care of me! Would recommend this clinic to my family and friends but sadly they told me that they were closing soon, so sad to see such good practice go to waste :(

Last year got my DOT physical with Peggy and it was a wonderful time! Fast forward today 8/18/24 I had the WORST SERVICE EVER! I told the front desk I need a DOT and I need to make appointments about some tingling in my shoulder. I told them it bothers me when I’m typing at work. So that means I don’t even drive anymore, I just don’t want to lose my endorsement! Then the provider Sharita comes out the back and tells me that I’m sick and won’t do it and I need an appointment. I told her I called up here yesterday on Saturday, I was told they were booked and to walk in on Sunday. Mind you, I asked to make an appointment on Saturday for Sunday, which is today, and was told to just walk in because nobody has appointments today. Sherita asked the front desk lady if that happened and she confirmed that I was told I didn’t need an appointment. I got here at approximately 1:45. Sherita told me that she’s not doing my physical because it takes an hour and I should’ve gotten here earlier. Completely unprofessional and LAZY! A dot does not take an hour first of all and then try to school me about coming in earlier is crazy as hell because that’s what business hours are for! She had every reason to not want to do her job. First it’s that I’m sick and can’t potentially drive so I need to get well first even tho I drive myself here! If the physical would be completed you would see that my physical health is fine! But she told the lady at the front “we’re not seeing her today!” I explained again that my dot card expires on 8/23 and I came on the weekend as to not miss work at my DESK job and she still refused. I’m in the parking lot now leaving this review. Since she doesn’t want to work, the office should make that a permanent choice for Sherita! This was the absolute worst experience I’ve EVER had here or at any other medical office. I thought “do no harm” was an oath but not for Sharita. I also asked for the office manager name and contact info and was told they don’t have one. WHAT???? a clinic with no office manager? Either somebody’s lying, or this place has no oversight and needs checks and balances and needs to be shut down if that’s the case! And the office was ghost town empty so how the time couldn’t be made to see me is beyond comprehension. I need somebody to get in contact with me because this was piss poor health care service!

I have never been so comfortable with my doctors office before I love Kathy and Bianca I know shes not there anymore but they made scheduling check in visit none stressful even when I call they know my voice they try to hurry and get me in no long waits all including Dr Susie really listen and aim to help today I met Dr Nicole E she really really was concerned she asked the right questions and has a calming personality not to add was resourceful and the hours of operation make them a plus never had one bad experience in a yr of being a patient this is my family doctor

This clinic is amazing! The staff is very professional, and polite. I enjoyed that the doctor and staff told the time to really listen to my concerns, even the smallest ones. Thanks so much Gold Star Family Care!

Absolutely recommended this location Mrs. Peggy , Mrs Kathleen , and I believe the other ladies name was Bianca are extremely patient they take the time to access your needs and it is anxiety friendly. I’m so glad I found this office and I plan on making it my home office.

I found this location on Tiktok! I love it here.Dr. Peggy Goodenough is very caring and attentive. Takes time to listen to your needs to evaluate the issue. She doesnt rush you out of the door like most offices. The entire staff is awesome.

Fantastic experience. I only have amazing things to say about Gold Star Family Care. Katheryn and Blanca were so courteous and professional and the wait time was incredible. I was in and out right away. I highly recommend this place. Finally a place that is affordable with an amazing staff

The doctor and her staff are extremely patient! My daughters fever spiked to 105 today, and I was in such disbelief that I was extremely short and hostile, and they were very patient with me, and I highly recommend them! Our total bill was $46, and I am so grateful! This clinic is a godsend

I was just here with my son and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and professional. The office was clean and bright. They have a nice kids area with books and toys. The provider listened to me and explained what we should do. She was so sweet and friendly. She even gave me a print out with information on what my son was experiencing. At the end of the visit my son got to pick a prize from the prize box, which he loved. I definitely recommend this place!!

Was stressing looking for an affordable cash pay doctor - this is the place! Doctor was very nice and knowledgeable. Short wait times. I was in & out in one hour. My new pcp . Thanks Gold Star!

Today (10-12-23) was my first time there . I seen the ad on Tik Tok so I decided to give it s try . I was glad that my insurance was accepted.The staff was very polite and professional. I loved the way the doctor listen to the patient. The doctor went an extra step on trying to get to root of the problem. Thanks 😊 doc.!!!

Went in today, last minute for a covid test, and I was overly astound with service I received. The front desk lady was so polite, and relatable. The doctor made me feel like I been knowing her forever and she was so bubbly.. I really appreciate their service today. It didnt feel much like a doctor visit but more of a visit to long lost cousins lol... Ill recommend everyone to book appointments her.. Thank you guys

I do not recommend this place. I had been here a few times, but they always had problem with the prescription and never wanted to resolve it. The doctor always insisted that they would do online prescription, but it caused problem all the time. I ended up not having my medication. I called the staff 3 or 4 times, and they just ignored me.

Outstanding customer service. Everyone here was so helpful and knowledgeable. Ms. Suzy is heaven sent, The whole staff was incredibly welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Try to do my annual check up, got there 10 min before my appointment, door was closed, have to ring several times before they let me in, nobody in the lobby to receive you, keep waiting for at least 25 minutes, decide it to leave, big mistake choosing this clinic!
