Just had my first appointment here a couple weeks ago and saw Clayton Southern. Check in was very easy. The medical assistant that came and brought me back was extremely sweet natured. I get extreme white coat syndrome when it comes to the obgyn but DR. Southern was very patient, kind, personable, and talked through the event to make me comfortable. Hes a gem! I will continue to see him. He took my concerns seriously and made a game plan on how to address each one. I highly recommend him!

Been going here for 20 years! Had absolutely great experiences with all the doctors here. Dr. Hall was my doctor for my first two babies, Dr. Ash delivered one, and Dr Caffrey delivered the other and now I’m 41 and pregnant again with my third and Dr. Southern and his nurse have been amazing! Erin did my last ultrasound and she was absolutely amazing. 10/10 would recommend! You cannot go wrong with this group of doctors, nurses, and sonographers. The absolute best!

The office staff was very respectful and patient in getting all my patient forms completed. I saw Debra and she was fantastic. She listened so well and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The nurses were great. I felt very pleased with my care.

Every single staff member I met was incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. Southern was the best! He actually listened to my concerns and gave me options to resolve my problems. When I exhausted all other options and went with surgery, he did a fantastic job. They called the following day just to check up on how I was feeling. I would recommend them to everyone!

I’ve been going to Independence Women’s Clinic for years and have only had great experiences. I saw the nurse practitioner, Emily Martinez, this week and felt so listened to and heard and am in very good hands! Highly recommend them for a great OB experience.

Dr.Moreno was wonderful! She took her time with me, answered my questions, and clearly explained options. Dr.Moreno was easy to talk to, comforting, and has a great personality. Health anxiety makes appointments difficult for me, but she put me at ease as soon as we met. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

I’ve been going to and associated with the Independence Women’s Clinic for years. But my doctor retired and I needed to be seen. When I called to make an appointment I was asked if I wanted to see Dr. Southern and thought sure why not?! I found out that not was he just new to me but he was a new doctor to the group. Doctor Southern was great! Super cool and very genuine. He actually came in to introduce himself before the exam and we had a great get to know you talk. Definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for a OBGYN.

Dr Southern and his nurse were very personable very thorough and very clear! There was no waiting I was in and out including the exam within 30 minutes or so and all of my questions were answered 100%. I have absolutely no hesitation with him being my OBGYN doctor going forward!

I loved my Doctor and my nurse but the front desk staff is so unbelievably incompetent and rude. You cannot get through and if you do they will transfer you with no explanation. I will never come here again just due to the poor front staff. Literally hung up on me when I was trying to make an appointment.

I am a patient here who is currently going through my second missed miscarriage.On the positive side, everyone is very nice. Kim the ultrasound tech is the only competent member of their team Ive met so far.On the negative side, its clear that these doctors here RELY on your ignorance to keep charging your insurance and making money off of you. In this process of losing two pregnancies, I was never given any information about the type of loss I was experiencing other than its just bad luck. Ive had to Google it myself based on my symptoms in order to understand what a missed miscarriage is, and important information like when to go to the ER because I might be bleeding too much during my miscarriage. Why wasnt I even given a pamphlet of helpful miscarriage info and grief counseling resources nearby? Oh thats right, because they dont make money off you or your insurance by giving you basic information. If Im paying insurance and a copay, Id expect that I wouldnt need to Google anything.The first time I lost a pregnancy here, Dr Pung came in and asked myself and my crying husband, Oh, so I guess this was a wanted pregnancy? Who asks something like that when you just found out your baby has no heartbeat?When we checked in at the desk for our 2nd emergency ultrasound, the clerk didnt understand why I was there and asked me how id like to pay the $1500 upcoming bill for labor and delivery? I had to explain to her in a room full of very pregnant women that I was losing my baby and was there for an emergency ultrasound to confirm. Humiliating!!At my most recent appointment, I got a photo of my baby from the wonderful and patient ultrasound tech, at least for my own memorial purposes. Later, the male doctor asked if I wanted a photo and handed me a printed photo of my ovaries! I may not be a doctor but I know the difference between the two images! For a moment, jokingly, I thought they put a white lab coat on the janitor and told him to give me a photo and a tissue for my tears to just get me out faster. What kind of hospital makes mistakes like this?If I cant trust you to keep me informed and to be competent when I have a pregnancy loss, WHY would I trust you with my live pregnancies in the future?!?!? Most of my experiences here have been entirely unacceptable and Im looking to go elsewhere from now on.

I’ve been seeing Dr Ash for 4 years now. I can’t say enough great things about her. She has great bedside manner. She’s trustworthy with your care and has never steered me wrong. She delivered my son and provides continuous care. I have referred friends to her that end up thanking me for doing so. 10/10 recommend her.

I love Dr. Southern. He took extremely good care of me. I trust him to the fullest! I highly recommend him!

I can not say enough about Dr Ash and her staff, Bri and Crystal . They are amazing. They are wonderful, they are caring , they are always smiling and friendly, makes us feel super comfortable. It is our second child, our second time dealing with them. I would definitely recommend them to every family . I tell everybody about dr Ash. She is the greatest doctor ever.

Dr Ash was very friendly, easy to talk to, answered questions fully. Nursing staff also very friendly. Heat over exam table was amazing …they have NO idea how much I appreciated that!!! Pap smear was also amazingly easy/ not in the least bit uncomfortable. Happy to have found my new GYN

Dr Southern has amazing bedside manner and is always very honest when recommending treatment. I’ve never had a male OB but I have always been pleased with the wonderful treatment I’ve received at Indep. Women’s Clinic and Dr Southern is no exception.

Got in and out in a very timely manner. All staff personnel were personable and professional. Testing was done quickly, our questions asked and answered. A very pleasant experience.

Doctors can’t take the time to see you! I’ve been trying to get seen at this place after A bunch of inclusive tests, else where! They wouldn’t even just set up an appointment and said I should just stay where I am at this point, Even though I’m not getting any answers…I need help and am obviously not going to get the opportunity to be helped hereSave your time waiting on hold and calling , leaving messages

The reason for the missing star is that I had a very long wait time to get into a room (~45 minutes). The reason for the other four stars is that I was nervous for the appointment and became unreasonably upset (started crying). While there was nothing they could do to shorten the wait time, the entire staff including Dr. Southern, were very compassionate with me and provided excellent care. I hope for shorter wait times in the future and will continue to trust the Independence Women’s Clonic with my healthcare.

This was my first visit to Independence Women’s Clinic and I can’t say enough positive things about it. I was greeted pleasantly and checked in quickly. I didn’t have to wait beyond my appointment time before I was called. The nurse who did my intake was professional, courteous and very helpful. Debra Sims was my caregiver and she was outstanding. She was easy to talk to, answered all of my questions, and took away any anxiety I was having. All of the staff made sure I knew they cared about about my well-being. Two thumbs up.

Everyone is very welcoming. Office is clean, warm, comfortable. Dr Hall knows gets to know his patients and their interests and truly cares about them. Highly recommend them.

Debra Sims is absolutely amazing! Sims and everyone in the office was friendly, easy to talk to, intelligent, patient, and kind. Impressive faculty. Extremely clean environment. Thank you all for everything you do!!!

Dr. Caffery was the best OBGYN I could have asked for during my pregnancy and labor/delivery. He is very patient, kind, and you can tell he cares about his patients. Highly recommend him.

Have been going here for several years. They are great from the front desk to the observation room. Sybil is exceptionally amazing! She takes the time to explain things and gives you helpful information. She actually assesses and ask questions. I never feel rushed. I would strongly recommend!!! Amazing team

I moved from out of state and needed an IUD replacement, so I reached out to this clinic due to proximity and positive reviews.Although all I needed was an IUD that is a year overdue for a removal, I was told I’d have to have an exam first, and then have a follow up for the BC. And that the wait was 2 months to get in. They were very nice on the phone. Annoyed that I can’t just get a new IUD on the day of my first exam, but I it’s been hard to find an appointment anywhere so I agree. She reminds me to fill out the patient form or my appointment will be canceled, so I later make sure to go online and fill them out.Two months later, I call to make sure of my appointment time a week ahead of time. Still polite and friendly. They confirm the time, and I say thanks.After I arrive, the person at the front desk tells me I am “unfortunately 3 minutes late” (I was in line at the desk behind other people). And that my appointment has been cancelled because I failed to complete a “patient history form.”Sure that I had, I learned that the “patient form” I had already filled out online isn’t the same as the one I needed to fill out. And I can’t get a new appointment for another two months.The desk person says she emailed me the forms “five time” just now (not sure why), but it is still not showing up even when I search for the sender address. I find it in my junk folder, which explains why I didn’t see the email earlier.I fill out the forms online at the office so I can make sure I have it done, and many of the questions don’t apply (nothing about needing birth control in the “why are you making this appointment “) or are strangely personal (“do you wear sunblock regularly” or “do you have problems with your children”).I’m upset about the hoops people have to jump through to get access to birth control. It’s confusing and I’m treated like I am at fault for not being more responsible.I can deal with mistakes and miscommunications but the overly complicated process of becoming a new patient in addition to the long wait between appointments is responsible for the two star review.

The nurses were very approachable and made me feel less nervous about my wellness exam. They were funny and made me laugh. The doctor joked with me and made me feel at ease during the whole exam. I felt as comfortable as I could be in a super vulnerable and uncomfortable exam. I will remain with this practice and doctor because they were so kind and understanding.

I have been going to the Independence Womens Clinc since I was in middle school. They have always made me feel very comfortable and everyone is very nice! I had a bad experience at my local hospital when they did a pap so I was nervous when I had to get one this year. My new doctor, Debra Sims did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and she made the pap go fast and easy too. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

This doctors entire office has caused me nothing but stress and even I was personally harassed by an actual doctor which is Dr. Amanda Sundling! I had to have a surgery done because of a defective device years ago I received to perform my tube ligation! And she was aware the entire time of the other problem I needed addressed before my surgery was even scheduled! She failed to advise me her really close friend was a specialist in the field I need treatment for! Which baffles me because she did not offer this very important piece of information until after my surgery! (It makes sense the because if you send a referral that’s even more money in her pocket). My surgery was rescheduled do to a heart surgery which had to come 1st before this surgery could even be preformed!She more then enough time 4+ months to give me a referral and see the specialist! Long story short, they finally decided to see me early after mysurgery! Then I bring my 12 year old son with me to my appointment, he had to use the bathroom while I was getting an exam done! Well when he left the bathroom he overheard her nurses that just came from my room, saying some pretty harsh stuff about me and was laughing! As we get in the car he tells me and we went right back in to the office! They refused to give me there HR phone number and said they where not connected to Centerpoint medical center! Not true! A very nice older nurse pointed me in the right direction and got me to the HR office (as we are walking there I was explaining my experience and she said “that don’t surprise me, because she also said she found out that same day I was there and she was terminated and had 2 weeks left!)So this is a warning to other women please investigate your doctors reviews and credibility before hiring them and then if they don’t work you always have the right to fire him / her! Which I did and she called personally 2 days in a row until I answered just to tell me that I don’t have a Urniary tract infection and to say that she heard that my son misunderstand her nurses! They for 1 said I looked dirty! Ok whatever but if an actual doctor called to tell me I had a perfect urine catch with no infection then why did she try to say my son was a liar and that they where referring to my urine looked dirty (I will not say what else they said cause it’s definitely inappropriate) but that fact that Doctor Sunling took the time to personally call me after I fired her his harassment and to call my 12 year old child a liar….She don’t deserve her license to practice anywhere on anybody because she obviously don’t stand by her Oath that she took when she received her white coat!!! I’ve tried to contact anybody I know to get ahold of to get advice!!!And nothing! So I decided to help y’all out and let you know that Dr. Amanda Sundling has no empathy sympathy or compassion for others, she will ignore you unless it’s about making money!!!Ultimately your not her concern your money and what she can get out of you is her concern and all of her nurses especially the old one well she looks old anyway with the brownish red hair all deserve to look for a different job in a different field!!!Just please know this needed to be said and spoke about! Because the way are health system is set up, is not meant to benefit us just the ones making money off the insurance we pay to get treated like a piece of gum off the bottom of your shoe!!!Sorry for the typos but I am pretty much not happy and just want to warn everyone before they choose Independence Womens clinic and especially Dr. Amanda Sundling!Good luck y’all!!!I hope you take my advice and just keep searching on google until you find a doctor that is going to listen and think then act! In that order!

Debbie Sims is simply amazing! She took her time to explain things to me and to answer all of my questions. She did not seem rushed at all and made me feel valued. She listened to my concerns and offered sound advice. She set me up with a plan of action following my visit which put my mind at ease. Thank you Debbie.

Dr Kiersten Moreno of independence women’s clinic is super down to earth and listens to everything you say. She isn’t quick to get you in and out like most as she genuinely takes her time and makes you feel like you and your pregnancy matter. Very personable.

Dr. Caffrey is the best! Hes very caring and considerate. He delivered my son 8 years ago and is now delivering our surprise daughter. His stories are great and his humor is the best. I would not recommend any one else. Hes simply the best!!

All the staff has been super nice. DR. Southern was very patient, never made me feel rushed, repeated info for me, even apologized for me waiting on him (he had to deliver a baby!)

As always the care and attentiveness I received made for an easy appointment. I have not seen Debra for care before and she was able to help, provide reassurance, guidance and steps for continued healing - all on a last minute appointment before the holidays. THANK YOU!!!!

I love the Independence Women’s Clinic, and Debbie Sims is simply the best women’s healthcare nurse practitioner there is. She’s thorough, extremely knowledgeable in all areas of women’s health, she’s kind, and if you have any questions or concerns, she gives you the information and the resources you might not have even known you needed. I will never go to another OB office. As women, we can experience so many different things with our female health. Debbie has seen me at both my worst and my best, and has been there for me with support and guidance. I appreciate that more than I can put into words.

Dr. Sundling is absolutely amazing! I have had many issues with OB’s in the past but she has by far exceeded my expectations. Her staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

I’ve gone to one appointment and that will be my last. Had a very bad experience with a nurse telling me that this is why you, “use protection,” because I am a younger parent. Just uncalled for and an unnecessary comment. Also, had them cancel my second appointment because we were going to be a few minutes late due to traffic. We drove over 30 minutes for nothing. We even called to let them know we would be slightly late but they wouldn’t reschedule us for another 2 weeks because they, “close early on Fridays and I was the last appointment of the day.” I’ve been having severe cramping and was wanting to see a doctor ASAP for this reason. They did not care. Also very difficult to schedule an appointment and they won’t answer their phone most of the time. They don’t have any compassion or concern for the health of you or your baby and the doctors are very selfish. Also on my first appointment they drew 8 vials of blood from me and when I almost passed out they gave me some water and kept going. Overall very dissatisfied with this entire operation and refuse to return ever again.

Ive been attending this office since high school, and now two pregnancies. Ive always loved this office and staff. Dr. Hall is amazing for prenatal care and delivery.

Dr. Caffrey and his staff have always been so great to my family, always make you feel welcomed, and always treat your concerns withsincerity and respect. My daughter was a young teen mother and having a doctor so kind and professional made a big difference in her and my granddaughters life. With have been with Independence Womens Clinic for 10 years, with 3 babies delivered and 2 surgeries performed.

Dr. Timothy Hall, He is the Best! Professional & thorough. Very warm hearted caring doctor. I feel very comfortable trusting him with my health. He goes the extra mile to be sure Ive been taken care of and that all my questions were answered.

I have never not felt welcome at this clinic. I see Dr. Caffrey and him as well as his nurses have been absolutely wonderful my entire pregnancy so far. You can tell that they care about their patients!

Debra Sims was uninformative, not caring, rude, and dismissive. Won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone under 25. She seemed to simply not care about how I was feeling and only about checking the boxes.

I had an excellent experience with Debra Sims, NP. She listens well to your concerns, is very knowledgeable and helps you understand what is going on, is honest and realistic, offers options for you to consider and in general has a very warm and caring manner. I would highly recommend her.

I can’t say enough great things about this office!! Everyone is always so helpful and kind!! I’ve been with them for years and about to deliver my second child here!! Absolutely love and would highly recommend. They have a payment plan offered to individuals with no insurance!

I strongly recommend Independence Womens Clinic! My Mom went here years ago, so I decided to give them a go when I was looking for a new OBGYN (my previous ob had retired). Everyone is amazing. Even when I had an issue with one of the receptionists being, lets just say, less than helpful when trying to reschedule an appointment, the problem was very quickly resolved and quite a few other amazing people at the office went out of their way, and beyond, to make things right... NP Sims and her nurses are super friendly and took the time to answer all of the questions and concerns that I had during my visits. I will definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new obgyn!

Doctors and nurses are great but receptionists are incredibly rude. They talk to patients like they are idiots, aren’t helpful, or empathetic at all. Saw a receptionist be completely rude to a patient who couldn’t find her insurance member number and refused to help her in any way—was just rude and condescending to her. There was a line of 8 people because they were so slow… we watched the receptionists type on their computers and not offer to check us in at all while we just stood there, the line getting longer and longer.

I absolutely love Dr. K. Moreno!! She’s been my MD for two of my pregnancies and unfortunately a miscarriage as well, but all times she has been outstanding, caring and involved making me feel sure and confident of my health. Her nurses are excellent as well. I will have to say that the wait times have been abnormally long in office and calling in to the office/nurse line these past few months. Which is a bit disappointing because the staff at the front desk is also very polite!! My most recent wait time was one hour to be seen! It seemed to have been a mistake for that visit, but other times have been close to 30 mins or more to be seen. Calling in to the nurse line was about a 20+ minute wait as well. Overall, I’m extremely grateful for the staff and for my Doctor and hope the wait times will be better before the next positive pregnancy test!!

I have seen Dr. Caffrey for years. Hes always made me feel seen, heard and comfortable. I strongly recommend him & this office. The office is modern & clean. The staff has always treated me well.

Although my first birth was complicated, Dr.Moreno was always there with support and solutions. Even after I had a major unavoidable fluke complication, Dr. Moreno visited me and scrubbed in for a surgery to assist. She helped me through a major battle with postpartum anxiety and tried every avenue to support me. I’m now almost ready to birth my second child and she has been there the entire way to support me and give my child the best start in life. I would highly recommend this doctor and her practice.

Debbie Sims has been a wonderful provider to me for many years. She has a very professional, calming and informative approach and my visits never feel rushed. She is a lovely, very competent WHNP!

She was happy to explain symptoms and causes that I didn’t understand with no judgment towards my ignorance. She provided an environment where I felt comfortable about discussing my health fears and concerns, a variety of treatment options including potential risks. I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a new OB.

Syble is honestly one of the most caring, honest, and down to earth Nurse Practitioner I have ever met. I was so sad when she told me she will no longer be at Independence Women’s Clinic after February!! She’s one of a kind and I will miss her warm personality.

This was the best OBGYN visit I have ever had. I met with Sybil and she was thorough, took her time with me and answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel rushed through my appointment which was amazing. I highly recommend!

I have only encountered one nurse with manners. The rest needs a serious reality check, if they are overworked and underpaid I am sorry but please stop taking it out on new patients. I will never go back to this facility. Hire new nurses.

The emails before appointments always looked super sketchy but once I was at my appointment, everything went well. I saw RND Sims and she was awesome. Super knowledgeable and comfortable. Im 29 years old and had my first pap. It was nothing like I had built it up in my mind.

I love everything about this doctors office. The front desk ladies are so nice, and helpful. The nurses are great to speak with, and I have seen a couple doctors aside from my normal OBGYN. I always have felt welcomed here. Never felt rushed out of an appointment. I have also never experienced any sort of long wait before an appointment or during the time from the nurse seeing me to the doctor. I would highly recommend this doctors office.

I would highly recommend Dr. Timothy Hall to anyone seeking a doctor who provides quality care and solutions,for your health care needs. I am thankful for him and his nurse and staff. I’ve been a patient of Dr Caffrey’s for over 24 years now and I have ALWAYS been EXTREMELY happy with the care he has given me as well as his staff!This office always responds quickly.A triage nurse will always answer the phone to help you. I have truly been so grateful for Dr Caffrey’s care all these years! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an OB/GYN!

Dr. Lemberger is one of the most caring and sweet doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every nurse and receptionist I came into contact with was nothing but helpful and sweet. My fiancé and I went through something really hard and every member at the Women’s clinic and surgery center made me feel loved and supported. I really can’t say enough good things without writing a story but if you are reading these comments and looking for that one review that makes you want to choose this clinic, just do it and I don’t think you will regret that decision.

I have had a fantastic experience with Independence Women’s Clinic. Throughout my pregnancies, I have been treated by Dr. Ash, Dr. Caffrey, as well as Debbie Simms and all three have been knowledgeable, attentive, and gone above and beyond to make sure I was getting superior care during various stages in the process. They listen to every question and take extra time to make sure you’re comfortable with everything.

I have had two children with this clinic and am currently being taken care of for my third. Dr. Gutknecht has seen me every time and is wonderful! Very knowledgeable and always willing to answer anything and go above and beyond. The nurses are very warm and personable as well! Everything is done right in the clinic besides blood work which is down the hall so its extremely convenient! I recommend everyone I know here. Its simply just a good place!

Adding onto another review- I came into town to go to my niece’s appointment with her and we called to say we would be 7 minutes late because of an accident on the Highway. We were told we would have to reschedule- we asked if we could please be fit in and they told us they leave early on Friday and couldn’t reschedule her for 2 weeks. They had no compassion at all. I’m disgusted. Hope they enjoy getting to go home 7 minutes early. We just made an appointment at St. Lukes’s, where they went out of their way to fit her in early next week. If you’d like a clinic with an ounce of compassion, I suggest not going here.

I have been going to independence womens clinic for over 17 years. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They really care about each patient. I would highly recommend Nurse Practicioner Debra Sims. She is wonderful!!

Doctor Pung was absolutely amazing and I truly felt cared for. She was always willing to listen and make sure that I got the best care possible. Im very glad she was my doctor and I would choose her care over and over again.

The staff at the office is great, as is Dr. Southern. He takes time to listen and involves the patient is planning of care.

Never a long wait when you schedule an appointment, super nice staff. Dr. Debra K. Sims has seen me 3-4 times now and she is very professional, great at making me feel comfortable and every NPC i’ve encountered has been open minded and i get any questions answered in a way i can fully comprehend.

I have never felt so heard and respected by a doctor before. Dr. Sims is not only funny and down to earth, but she is also a champion of female reproductive rights and making sure you know your choices are yours to make and that she is there to advocate for you. I have been a patient/participant of the Independence Womens Clinic since 1984. While the staff may change, the care has always been professional and compassionate.

Do NOT seek out this clinic if you need anything done in a timely manner or approved by insurance. I was seen last month in order to replace my birth control. I was told it would take a maximum of two weeks for insurance to approve the procedure. I called back at the two week mark and the girl in charge of preauthorization had made no attempt to contact my insurance. I called back after 3 weeks and the girl would be on vacation for the last week. 4 weeks from the date of my appointment before they will even be making a call to my insurance. In the mean time, I have no other options for birth control unless I wish to start this process over from the beginning with them.I’ve heard about others experiencing issues with insurance. I haven’t seen a doctors office who would just refuse to send your paperwork to the insurance. What a headache.A process planned parenthood was able to finish in days has taken this office a month.

I called with an urgent concern and they were able to get me in immediately. Syble Cretzmeyer N.P. and her nurse, Courtney, were so sweet. Syble was very patient, gentle and thorough in explaining everything to me. I was extremely pleased with my visit and would highly recommend them.

Have seen Dr Hall off and on for 23 years! Best Dr I’ve ever had! Great bedside manner listens and takes your concerns into consideration! Always 5 stars from me!

I very nervous about my appointment and had been putting it off for a while. My husband and I have had difficulties getting pregnant. I wasn’t sure what to expect or what information I’d get in my first appointment but I left feeling hopeful and reassured. I appreciated being given direction in what to do following my appointment. My husband and I look forward to continue working with Lindsey Hartley and the team at the independence women’s clinic.

I had a very bad experience with one of the nurses, her name was Rachel, trying to set up an appointment to be seen by one of the doctors. She was very disrespectful and unprofessional and ended up hanging up on me when trying to ask for her name to speak with someone about her behavior. I was able to get her name from another person of the staff and when I did speak to someone higher up they didn’t seem to take me seriously or care much about how that nurse reflected on their hospital. I can’t speak on how the doctors are but I heard they are great, unfortunately my experience with the nursing staff made me uncomfortable so I won’t be able to see for myself. I hope this hospital does better on choosing who they hire as nurses.

I have been a patient of NP Sims for years. She is an excellent practitioner that you can trust to listen and understand your concerns. I wish more practitioners were like her!

I love going for my appointments with Lindsay Hartley! She is personable, yet professional. My visits always feel like I’m catching up with a friend. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

They won’t see you sooner than nine weeks for a prenatal appointment, even if you have a history of recurrent miscarriage. They’re incredibly difficult to get ahold of and when you leave a voicemail for your doctor or nurse, they won’t return your call. I called a couple different times, wanting to get checked out after a miscarriage, and the schedulers kept transferring me to a nurse’s voicemail (who never returned my calls). It shouldn’t be this hard to schedule an appointment.

My daughter had an appointment for which we were running late. 7 minutes precisely. They canceled her appointment just because they wanted to close early. I’ve never heard of having an appointment canceled for running less than 10 mins late. This is pretty poor customer service, so were taking our business elsewhere.

I have been a patient here for 15 years! First with Dr Lemberger during my pregnancy, but now I see Debra Sims and have for the last 10 years. She is wonderful! She is a wealth of knowledge and I can talk comfortably with her about anything. She listens, she cares, she’s gives advice and most importantly helps me understand my body. All women are different!I have and will refer her and IWC to any woman I know!

I seen Lindsey Hartley here, and she is phenomenal.The only reason I have to change is due to insurance. And I am torn. She listened to me, and helped me figure out what I needed to. Made me feel at ease and understand everything I needed to!She’s great an I would recommend her over and over!

I can not say enough great things about Dr. Pung. She always took the time to address all concerns in pregnancy. Even with this being my 3rd child, she still explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Dr. Pung made me feel comfortable from day one, and was the calming force I needed in delivery. I was so glad that she was the one to deliver my son. I also really like one nurse, Jessica. She remembered things that were going on in my life and she would ask me about them, on my next visit. Im glad I made the hour drive to use them.

Doctor Ash was so patient and kind. Her nurse, Kristen, was also so incredibly kind while trying to get me scheduled as soon as possible as I was having some abnormal symptoms. I highly recommend Doctor Ash to anyone.

Doctor southern is great and he listen to all your concerns and problems. The nurses are very professional and nice

Lindsay G. Hartley, WHNP-BC is so wonderful! As my gynecologist for years now and hopefully years to come she has been informative, gentle and quite frankly a therapist at times. Everyone is helpful I the office from office staff to nurses. Would definitely recommend Independence Womens Clinic.

Dr. Pung was horrific!Her bedside manner was so bad and when I asked to change providers I was told that if I didn’t like one I didn’t like any of them and they fired me from the clinic. I WOULDN’T SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

Dr Lemberger delivered my son 13 years ago. The hospital was packed and they needed beds, so since he was my third child, I was asked if I could leave early. I wanted to have the circumcision done before we left the hospital, but I was told it would be no problem to do it in the office. Turns out, the insurance wouldnt pay for a circumcision in the office and I still have an outstanding balance with them and have been refused to bed seen because of it. It shouldve been written off.

Dr.Moreno was an amazing Doctor!! i highly recommend her for anything. Overall the clinic was so clean and the nurses were soo nice!!

I arrived to my appointment and told I had a balance that had to be paid that day to be seen. Keep in mind it was only $18.00 But am a single mother and didnt get paid till Friday. I asked if I could pay it Friday. Even said I would leave my card number for them to run. They turned me away and the office manager Jaime was dude and didnt care. Its $18.00 that I was not notified prior to the visit was due. I turned down overtime at work to make this visit. So am out 4 hours of over time. For $18.00 that I didnt know I owed because they couldnt wait till Friday for me to pay it. So I wouldnt recommend this office to anyone. And they lost my business and money my insurance would have paid for the visit they turned me down because of $18.00.

Dr. Ash and the entire team at Independence Women’s clinic is Phenomenal. I have gone to Dr. Ash for both gynecology and obstetrics care, she has always been kind and makes sure you have a good understanding of what’s going on. I would recommend Dr. Ash and her team to anyone!

I have been coming here for 7 years now from having children to yearly check-ups. The doctors and staff take time to listen to what you say and take their time with your care. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Dr. Lemberger saved me and my sons life during labor and without her fast thinking we both wouldnt be here.

They didn’t really answer my question and gave me unwanted weight loss advice and basically called me fat and gave me a gastric bypass surgeons card in my opinion very unprofessional and rude the nurse I had was nice and it wasn’t a long wait so if your not overweight it would probably work for you but if you are please save yourself the time and tears and find somewhere else this is the second doctor that talked about my weight instead of answering my questions! Horrible experience both times

I am currently pregnant with my first child. I went to IWC as a young woman and was always happy with them, but after moving to KS and then NY, I obviously could not see them. I got pregnant while living in NY and moved back to MO shortly after. Since KU Medical Center was the last place I’d see an OBGYN, I just continued my prenatal care with them. Anyway, after 22 weeks and several complications I decided to switch to IWC at the recommendation of many friends and family - and I am so glad that I did!! Dr. Hall took me on, even though my pregnancy came with complications and I was more than halfway through. They have been nothing but accommodating when I have had questions or concerns, and you always get to talk to a nurse when you call, an issue I had experienced with my care at KU. I am so so happy I made the switch.

Dr. Moreno took her time and listened to what I was saying. She didn’t seem rushed and showed genuine concern. I appreciated her time at my appointment.

My husband and I went to this clinic while I was pregnant and miscarried twice. Did not have a good experience. If you have trouble getting pregnant, have higher risk pregnancies, need more communication with a doctor this will not be the place to recieve that attention or care.In addition, I was getting blood drawn & my husband heard one of the nurses say loudly with the door open, this is *insert name* she was diagnosed with chlamydia in 2018 and she is currently 36 weeks pregnant. My husband could find this person on Facebook & knew something very personal about her life. HUGE HIPPA violation.And the secretaries have a bad RBF & are not helpful. Not necessarily their fault since they are not medical professionals... But since theyre the only people you can talk to in person it can create frustration with a huge lack of communication.

Dr. Ash is the best! Her and her team go above and beyond. The nurse, Briese, that works with her is so sweet and attentive to anything and everything. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Ash, Briese, and Independence Women’s Clinic in general.

This is the second baby in the last 2 years that Dr. Hall and staff have been with me for and theyve been amazing! Wish I wouldve had them with all 4 babies. Highly recommend!

Called to make an appointment, come to find out they don’t even allow you to see your baby until 10 weeks of pregnancy on an ultrasound, seems completely wild to me and unacceptable. I would not recommend going here to track the growth of your baby

This has been an amazing experience with both my children. I would not have wanted to go to anywhere else. Dr. Hall is funny and open to all questions. ALWAYS got in on time and if I went early 9 out of 10 times I was in within 5 minutes! Dont have enough great things to say about this place!!!

Sat on hold for 20 minutes to be told they can’t make me appointment so they are gonna transfer me to someone who can. then sat on hold again for 10 minutes to not get my appointment made. or speak to this other person but to get hung up on.

I got pregnant last November & saw Dr. Moreno, went to all of my appointments. I went in for the blood test to find out the sex they told me there were too many chromosomes where they couldn’t read if it was a boy or a girl she told me I had absolutely nothing to worry about & that it probably just meant I had twins. She then sent me to a specialist and when I got there they did a sonogram and they told me that there was nothing there & that it absorbed in my lining. I went back to Moreno at center point & she didn’t even check herself and just gave me pills and next thing i know I’m in the worst pain of my life and my baby is laying in my hands. It was the most awful and confusing thing I’ve ever been through. I called her for weeks and weeks and she would never talk to me. I finally went back to her because I bled for 2 months after everything which isnt normal at all and she told me and my boyfriend that we were seeing stuff because we wanted it to be true. Just wasn’t a good experience at all and I will never step foot again in centerpoint & I pray I never see that awful woman again.

They did a great job with my daughter getting her birth control. She is scared of needles and they let her feel safe all the way until the implant was in her arm before she realized it. Thank you

They almost killed me and my unborn child due to medical neglience. I will never go to this practice again let alone CenterPoint E.R. those OB Docs in this practice are not on the same page, reckless with medical advice and refuse to listen to a woman telling them her health problems or complication. I had to change OB at 6.5. Months because they told me I wasnt in labor and I was. Three times they sent me away and baby almost died I turned them into the hospital and they swept it under the rug

I went through my whole pregnancy with them and never once did I have a bad experience. I loved my doctor and all the nurses including during labor

Been pestered for years about getting Guardasil, finally caved & got it because they acted like it was medically necessary. Got it done, & come to find out they didnt check if it was covered by insurance & I got a bill for $340...for one shot! I googled the price of the shot & it is $130-$170, so they are at least charging me double! & this is a 3 shot thing, so it would end up costing over $1,000 out of pocket! Said the best they could do is lower the price to $316! What a joke!

I switched to Independence Women’s Heath Clinic almost 2 years ago and I have never had a bad experience. The whole staff is very friendly and puts your worries right at ease.

Debra is informative & resourceful. She doesn’t beat around the bush when I have concerns & for that I trust her. Appreciate you Debra!
