I had an unpleasant experience yesterday here, I thought the receptionist were just having a tough day but that’s not what happened, she would be so energetic and kind to the people before and after me but when she would speak to me it was so nonchalant. One thing is rudeness and that wasn’t just that. I felt discriminated, and i was one of the only Hispanic/Latino patients in there at the time. Also it’s kind of mind blowing that it was so obvious or I would not waste my time writing a review. Women’s med please hire women that are not rude, racist or discriminatory. These are tough times for anyone going through this and on top of that you got to deal with rude employees. I have more to the story and I hope women’s med is interested because I’m pretty sure this particular women was not following protocol, work rules.

I’m incredibly grateful for my experience here. It was not an easy situation to be in, and the entire staff made me feel safe and comfortable. My first appointment did take a long time, but it was an exceptionally hectic day and everyone kept apologizing for the long wait. My second appointment for my procedure they actually called and said they were running ahead of schedule and asked if I could come in early, so I think I experienced both extremes for their office! I got low blood pressure during my procedure and nearly passed out, and the nurse and doctor both took such good care of me. The doctor talked me through every single step so I knew what to expect, and it helped keep me calm. Everyone treated me with respect and showed such kindness. I was the last patient of the day, but no one rushed me or made me feel like I was a burden because my recovery took a bit longer. Like I told the nurse practitioner while we walked out to our cars together, I never wanted to have to meet anyone there, but I’m thankful for them and their hearts of gold.

Firstly, upon making my appointment. The front desk ladies were very kind and informative. I am low income and they gave me tons of options and resources to help cover my fee for something I wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise.I was extremely nervous my first appointment, unsure what to expect but the whole staff from the front desk, assistants, nurses and doctors. Everyone was so very kind and answered all my questions and were very sweet even though I may have overshared about my personal life out of nervousness when they asked me medical questions lol! Everyone who works here obviously cares about every patient that walks through the door and you can feel it as soon as you enter the building. This wasn’t an easy decision for myself at all and it’s not an easy process to go through but the people at woman’s med made sure I was comfortable and informed about everything I was about to go through. I’m so grateful for everyone here and I’m glad I found a great clinic. Thank you sincerely, Im super grateful for my care here.

This happened a few months ago, but I am still miffed about it. Someone I am very close with made a call because she needed help and when I heard how she was spoken to by the woman on the phone, my friend decided to look elsewhere. My friend was already feeling so scared and bad about herself. I understand that this is a job to people that work here every day, I understand theres a lot of added stress because of people trying to take away womens rights, but just because someone may be seeking an abortion doesnt mean that it isnt a difficult decision or something that is just day to dayor normal and the people answering the phone need to remember that and speak to the women calling with a warm, welcoming and sensitive demeanor.

This clinic was loving and caring and helpful. Amazing staff! Every person there was warm and helpful. Its been almost 2 years. Ive been fearful of putting up a review because its public but Im not scared anymore and I cant thank you all enough. Special thank you to my in room nurse. I dont remember your name but I remember your support. ❤️ I had a surgical procedure, if Im being honest it hurt during the procedure but more like really horrible period cramps. I cried during my procedure but not because of the pain. I cried because of gratitude, thankful these wonderful people were helping me and supporting me with my choice over my body. I hope we never lose our ability to choose.I felt safe coming here. They even had a security guard to walk me out. There is protesting sometimes but they cant get close to you, they are on the sidewalk. The staff gets you in fast. You are safe and supported here.

Horrible experience. Came to appointment on time and was made to wait over 4 hours. Asked specifically for a female doctor and they said it would be but it was the male medical director. He didnt introduce himself at all and tried taking the pants off himself before asking or explaining anything. Then the clinic proceeded to lose the ultrasound scan and bloodwork results making the entire ordeal pointless. Said the pregnancy wasnt viable and had no heartbeat and had deformities. Got an ultrasound at the obgyn two days later and it has a heartbeat and is perfectly normal and healthy. Unbelievable waste of time and money. Terrible and the rude receptionist was the cherry on top

I cant express how appreciative I am of the women who work here. Every member of staff I spoke to was kind, thoughtful and efficient. The woman who did my ultrasound put me right at ease. I owe her a huge thank you. There is no need to look at the ultrasound if you dont want to. I chose not to. The nurse practitioner that I saw was sincere and empathetic. Her kindness almost made me cry. It was exactly what I needed. Its clear she does her job from a place of love. I cant even begin to say just how much that means. Aside from that, she also sent me home with enough anti-nausea medication to get me through to my abortion appointment and a twelve month prescription for birth control. I feel better today than I have in weeks. Thank you to everyone at Womens Med.

Honestly wanted to cry during ultrasound because I didn’t know how big baby was but my ultrasound tech was so comforting I wanted to be her friend. She was so uplifting & positive. Felt like the hardest choice in my life. Also loved my nurse that was with me during procedure. I’m so glad I picked this place.Waiting rooms were slightly out dated but I’m sure funding isn’t just handed to places like these. I would recommend.

The people here are amazing, especially the nurses. I am 32 and have never been through anything drastic of any sort (never had a pap smear or teeth pulled, etc.) I was so scared, anxious (I suffer from depression and anxiety to the fullest), crying, etc. They went out of their way to the extreme to make sure I was comfortable, not afraid, etc. You guys are amazing and I cant thank you enough!!! My boyfriend was really happy with how I was treated and couldnt thank you enough either, he said we made the right choice picking this place! =)

Unprofessional at the front desk, she was mad at me because I told her that I was not notified of assistance. She said whoever I spoke to was improperly trained and it is my fault for that. No accommodations made, and she cancelled my appointment. Gave me the middle finger as I walked out.

This place AMAZED me with the amount of compassion and care they had for me right off the bat. I had called with some questions about their facility and the receptionist was so kind and helpful. Anyone that has had to make a decision like this knows its terrifying and heartbreaking. They did everything in their power to assure this process would be handled with great care. I just want to thank the entire staff. Youre all wonderful.

I could not have asked for a better experience here. Staff and doctor were incredibly friendly, calming, and comforting. I was also surprised by how quick everything was. I was there for only an hour both visits. At no point did I ever feel rushed, judged, or over looked which so many other places are famous for. Every person I encountered was nothing less than amazing. Thank you so much for the positive experience during such a difficult time.

Having the ability to make patients feel safe from their car to the facility and back to their car is my job. Womens Med takes security seriously. At times there may be protesters however they cannot be on the property and escorts are available to get you in and out safely.

I did my research on the different abortion clinics in the Indianapolis area. I quickly learned Planned Parenthood was NOT the place to go. That left Womens Med Center and one other place. Womens Med Center was the only place that did not herd you thru the process in a group setting. Every step of the way is private here, and prices are comparable at each facility. With that being said, from the first person I spoke with on the phone when I called to make an appointment to the security guard who saw me safely out to my car at the end of my second appointment - every single person was warm, caring, non-judgemental, and took their time with me. I cant thank these women, the security guard, and Dr. Glazer enough.Realize that you WILL run into protesters when you go to this center. They have to stay on the public sidewalks around the facility though. They cannot come up to you. They will holler out to you, but that is it. Dont let them dissuade you. That being said, the facility itself is easy to locate, but it is very obscure as to what it is. There isnt a big sign advertising it is an abortion clinic, and you can park in the back very discreetly and quickly walk around to the front where you will be buzzed in very fast. There are windows in the building, but they are all covered with blinds so no one can see in anywhere.I ended up choosing the medical abortion because I didnt want to artificially dilate my cervix and introduce a foreign object into my uterus if it could be avoided. I carried two risk factors to possible complications to a D&C (previous c-sections and a tilted uterus) and decided I could try the medical abortion and if I ended up being one of the very few who still needed a D&C then I wouldnt be any worse off. When I came to my first appointment there were only 3 old white men outside the clinic trying to hand out papers and talk to you, and to get you to come into their van for a free ultrasound (which isnt creepy at all or anything). At my second appointment there were quite a few more demonstrators - with their van still there as well. Just be prepared for this. Again, dont let these people scare you into not doing something you want to do. I dont see them at the hospital offering help to new mothers as they leave the premises, do you??? No, I dont. I imagine they go home in the afternoon after a busy morning of hollering at women as they enter this building and pen fantastical letters to their Representatives about how birth control should not be automatically covered by insurances, and how funding should be cut for programs such as WIC, Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Section 8, etc. Catch my drift?? But I digress......At my second appointment I met with Dr. Glazer. He is an extremely nice man who made me feel very comfortable. He answered any questions I had, and explained to me exactly what I needed to do and when, and explained to me what would happen to my body with each step.As I type this I am in the middle of the day when I took the second set of pills for the medical abortion. I had myself worked up for something awful. This isnt bad at all. Yes, it is a bit worse than menstrual cramps, but nothing some Advil doesnt take care of. Im very glad I went with this option. I also wanted to note that you can get into contact with the doctor 24/7 thru any of this process should you have questions or concerns.THANK YOU to Dr. Glazer and all of his staff. I wish I could thank each of you personally. What you have endured over the years in order to provide these services is unimaginable to me. Thank you all for pushing ahead undeterred. I wish I lived close so I might someday have the chance to work with you and help other women feel comfortable at a very difficult time.

Do not come here , they gave me a false ultrasound date told me I was further along then what I actually was . Gave me prenatals to take … basically throwing their beliefs on me . Came into your clinic January 3rd they said I was 24 weeks when in reality I was 19 weeks & couldn’t go to Dayton so therefore had to travel out of state to Colorado to get an abortion to make it harder for me to get one cause it was more costly like 10,000 more costly when I told them I was 24 weeks .come to find out womens med center gave me the wrong ultra sound cause I was never that far along . I even came back in the same day and received another ultrasound by one of the supervisor nurses in Dayton that was in town. Honestly about to sue you guys ! I hope no Womens gets treated or stressed out like this , wasted my 200$ on a false ultrasound ! Please don’t go to them

My experience in this place was horrible, I suffered lifelong damage, I still have many consequences of the great and serious negligence that was carried out on me. I have not confused them, I was a patient in February 2023, I have the contract signed by the doctor, they performed on me I had an abortion and they pierced me and the worst thing is that they didnt realize they sent me home, I almost died, I have tried to communicate with you and I havent been able to.
