Dr. Yao is very compassionate and patient with me when l asked her questions about my symptoms and possible causes. During my first consultation, She made me feel she really cares about her patients and addressed all my concerns and provided me with possible treatment plans. She is very knowledgeable about how to treat menopause related issues. Highly recommended Gynecologist!

I successfully had a vaginal delivery in 10 mins with the help of Dr. Yao! Baby is 6lbs and 14oz and super helpful! It was a privilege and my luckiest journey to have Dr. Yao and her office staff as my OB. Dr. Yao is so professional and caring for her patients and she always provides the best suited advices and plan for my pregnancy and labor. She worked such diligently with the nurses in the hospital throughout the labor and also helped make so many important decisions that helped me to a successful labor. Dr. Grace Yao is one of the best OBGYNs Ive ever encountered and worked with. Fluent in both Mandarin and English (sometimes I prefer speaking mandarin in specific terms) she and her team attended to my wifes needs every visit upon until birth, and even followed up with us with post-birth cosmetic packages. I highly recommend Dr. Grace Yao for all OBGYN related services!

Doctors without integrity! It can be found on the website of the insurance company that this doctor is a partner doctor of HMO, but after calling, she said that she does not accept HMO! If you do not support HMO insurance, please do not cooperate with the insurance company, otherwise it is a liar.

Incredibly rude when I tried to call to make an appointment. I was referred to the doctor by my primary care physician and my insurance approved the referral. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist spoke in Mandarin to the doctor and when they heard I had an HMO they refused to see me. Stated that “they are not accepting new patients”

Dr. Yao diagnosed my cancer in a timely manner, very satisfied with her help.

Avoid this office - They do NOT respect patients, they ONLY care about how much money they can make! Just like what other reviewers mention, the receiptionist is rude and horrible!

From the eighth week of pregnancy until the postpartum check-up, Dr. Yao and his team members were very caring and answered all my questions. We all got along like friends, and every prenatal check-up was done personally. The circumcision of the baby was also very successful. He recovered after applying Vaseline for a week. I am especially grateful to Dr. Yao for his patience. I pushed for more than 3 hours that day and kept encouraging me with words. Finally, after asking for my wishes, he used a suction cup to help me deliver and encourage a natural birth. As for fees, many check-up items are voluntary. For example, I would go to Hoag to have a major surgery done by myself, and then the insurance would cover everything. All in all, the good experience made me more confident in preparing for a second child. Thanks again to Dr. Yao’s team~

The baby was born at St. Josephs Hospital two days ago. I am very grateful to Dr. Yao for his prenatal check-up and companionship. I came to the United States when I was 28 weeks old. Dr. Yao has always been very attentive and performed every B-ultrasound seriously and responsibly. Because I live far away, Dr. Yao also communicated with me about the induction time according to my wishes. Finally, the baby was born at 39w+1. . As soon as I entered the hospital, Dr. Yao came over to greet me. Later, he helped me design an induction plan and put on the balloon myself. Finally, under the guidance of Dr. Yao, I was successfully delivered after three sets of push! Thank you again Dr. Yao❤️❤️! I wish all the best to the sisters who have not yet given birth😄🎊

Thank you Dr. Yao for providing professional guidance during pregnancy, discussing the plan for natural delivery, and making timely and accurate judgment at 39 weeks when my first pregnancy was aborted and my second child was expected to go smoothly! After delivery, because I had difficulty absorbing oral medications, Dr. Yao gave up his time off work and had no time to have dinner. He took good care of me and I am so grateful. Dr. Yao is professional and responsible. He came to the hospital at 3 oclock on the night of delivery until the morning until the baby was delivered smoothly. Have strong judgment, experience and sense of responsibility. Highly recommended.

Came for the second time. The doctor knows that I dont have insurance and always recommends that I do various tests at his place and pay with cash! Isn’t it necessary to go to the laboratory and pay for a normal examination? I asked to go to the laboratory to pay, as is the case in other hospitals, but he said the laboratory would charge me double the price. hehe! It is not recommended for anyone to come for a consultation. Many of the five-star reviews below are obviously created by brushing up. Everyone makes your own judgment!

The service attitude of the front desk staff is particularly poor. This kind of service attitude will ruin the doctors reputation sooner or later. He verbally abused the patients ignorance and ignored the patients reasonable requests. Charges were not clearly explained during the consultation. After the consultation, medical records and laboratory reports were not even given to the patient. I came here with high expectations, but I didnt expect it to be like this.

Dr. Yao is very good, dedicated and impeccable. The staff are all very amiable. Five stars is too little. If I could give 100 stars, I would give it full marks.
