AG Urgent Care Jamaica

Terrible experience. Doctor was on a group zoom call on maximum speaker volume throughout my consult (including listening to my heart!) and had to shout over it. Consult lasted maybe 2 minutes.Prices on website are not accurate, was quoted more than double in the office.The receptionist doubles as the physicians assistant and left for a half hour to park her car.There were bugs in the waiting room.Everything was rushed, Im not confident my tests are accurate or even properly looked at (I could hear the PA and Dr briefly discussing loudly over the zoom call in the other room, so could everyone else) my concerns were not listened to after the tests and generally do not feel like I received any care at all.I will have to book another appointment somewhere else. Waste of time and money.

I Came in to urgent care for a second time in 2 years and I must say the staff was AMAZING each time. You dont have long wait times like the ER. You are treated with care and professionalism. I was treated so well even better than my primary physician. My concerns were taken seriously and each one of my ailments addressed. Please dont be afraid to go to this location. You wont regret it.

Everybody is great caring and knowledgeable…clinic is always clean and the atmosphere is always very peaceful…Provider Janet has become a very big support for me in my visits and everyone else as well…I get the help I need and the services acquired…I would never go to another urgent care in Queens.

I visited the jamaica location on 4.11.24And I must say I was very impressed. I pass this office all the time and always go straight to city md when I dont feel good which I really dont care for i always feel rushed and . But not at ag urgent care I felt like I matter and my concerns was heard and evaluated the proper way . From the phone inquiry to walking into the office to talking with the provider Janet everything felt right .. I would always go back when Im not feeling good and I would encourage other community members to check them out when they not feeling good or need a check up Im so happy to be apart of the ag urgent care family now frfrStaff was friendly the office was clean

Went for fluid in my lungs yesterday, was prescribed Prednisone but the medication was not filled due to the MD not being par with my insurance and didn’t know they couldn’t prescribe the said medication. The office is closed on the weekend and I have to pay oop for my much needed medication😏

Very effective service, I was in and out less than 30mins, front desk and the doctor (Dr Janet) very helpful. And there was only one person manning the desk.

This place has great customer service from the assistants to the doctors. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jannet is the best doctor in New York state. Her thorough examinations, beautiful spirit, & Amazing work ethic is profound.She healed me when I had a minor cold.I love coming to AG Urgent Care Especially For Her. They Need to Make her The Boss or Give her a Promotion some how!!! !

My go to urgent care. I dont always like it because sickness is annoying and Id rather go to work and go about my day (lol), but they give me the best care when I need it. Service is always quick, and staff is more than efficient. They have great bedside manner. Especially with my 5 year old. They arent Pediatricians, so always call the pediatrician first. But they can still help. In my experience, all of the medical staff listen to all of my concerns and thoughts, and then do whatever necessary to assess. My favourite doctor is Janet, shes super honest and does her job excellently. Lastly, it is a very clean site, which is very important to me. Thanks AG Urgent Care!

I went to AG Urgent Care in Jamaica on Saturday 14 Oct 2023 feeling quite unwell - aches and pains, shivers and shakes and also quite severe back and shoulder pain. I was seen by Latoya Betton who listened to my chest, took vitals and said I had the flu and prescribed anti virals. What she didn’t do was tap on my chest which would have revealed that I actually had pneumonia. I also question how she could have listened to my chest and not heard pneumonia given by that stage I actually had quite severe pneumonia. The severe back pain should also have led her to contemplate this and to order a chest Xray - but she didn’t order that. She also said my temperature was normal but failed to put together that I was taking both Advil and Tylenol - which I was and which I told the nurse. That is - my temperature in the clinic was medicated.Later the same day, the pain in my back got so bad I had to go to Emergency where my shortness of breath was also noted immediately and they were immediately concerned, ordered a chest Xray, CT Scan and other tests and determined that not only did I have pneumonia but that it had developed into Sepsis. I was admitted to hospital for 5 days altogether, lots of IV antibiotics and other things.Had I not got to Emergency, given sepsis had already started, I could have ended up in septic shock and died.Latoya Betton failed in her care for me. She failed to diagnose pneumonia and failed to clinically avert to what my symptoms could suggest or order appropriate tests.I called AG Urgent from hospital on Monday 16 Oct 2023 to complain and have this matter escalated as I was concerned for patient care at the center and wanted to ensure no one else had my experience. I was told I would be called back for follow up. It’s a week later now and no one has called me.Based on my experience, AG Urgent Care is unconcerned with actual patient care or experience and I would strongly advise against visiting the practice and especially warn that Latoya Betton may get your diagnosis wrong - and it could devastating.

Had a really bad sinus infection. Dr Janet and her staff were truly amazing. Very pleasant and understanding to my pain. They were all very courteous and professional. I will be back if I ever need an urgent care visit

Dr. Janet and her team/staff are amazing! Best patient care I’ve ever received from any facility! They are understanding, actually allows you to explain/speak, they empathize, and gives you the best solutions/patient care. They truly care for you!!

Great staff. Very welcoming and friendly, I did not feel rushed, and the MA listened to every detail of my complaint. The provider was fast acting and definitely helped to alleviate my symptoms. I was referred for further testing. Would highly recommend this urgent care clinic.

I had a terrible experience at this clinic yesterday. I went in for a rapid test which should’ve taken all of 15-30 minutes but ended up waiting two and a half hours to be seen. They had medical emergencies to tend to in the beginning which I understood to an extent, but to have a stalled waiting room full of people in the middle of a pandemic where people are still testing positive left and right is beyond unacceptable. When I finally got close to being seen, I was told that the receptionist never logged my information in the system which is why people who came after me, got seen before me. How could that even happen? That’s the most basic step upon a patient’s entry into a clinic. That held my process up even further. When I finally got seen, there was more chaos as the staff couldn’t locate my chart. The attending physician, Janet, also had no bedside manner. Very rude, gave me no real medical suggestions as to deal with my diagnosis, and sent me on my way. Lastly, the unprofessional conversations that can be heard from the waiting room were out of line! Sick patients shouldn’t have to hear booming laughter from staff so casually leaning against the reception desk. Do NOT go here!

Dr Ashley Simon made me feel comfortable, she was patient and made sure I left out of there with no questions! MyOriginal review from a year ago was a 1 star I now updated it because of my recent experience with her last week.

I want to give them Zero rating. They gave me the worst service.Their behavior was rude. They suppose to give me my reports in 2 weeks but after 2 weeks passed, nobody responded. I reported my insurance. My supervisor also contacted them but they just dont care. Never go there. Very unprofessional and rude staff. One of the doctor or nurse who took my blood made my hand situation very bad. I never felt this much bad to go any urgent care. Please dont go there.

The receptionist and the PA who saw me were absolutely amazing and super friendly! They answered all my concerns and questions and made me feel very comfortable. Wait time was long but understanding as the practice is walk in. Will definitely be coming back if needed to see Ms. Jannet Watson!!

The receptionist on 8/1 (sorry I forgot her name) Bernadette (I think) was extremely helpful. She was very attentive and even though it was busy she was a able to answer any question or concerns that I had. Kudos to her. The staff was great

This is a terrible time. We are all facing another pandemic and cases rising with people who live at home with those with pre-existing conditions and we are all checking to make sure we are keeping each other safe. The manager asked at 7:15 what we were there for and we said Covid test. At 8pm she comes back outside and says that she needs to send her employees home and aren’t doing anymore test. You allowed people to stand outside for almost an hour to send them away. The proper way is to allow all those who were on line when you originally checked to be seen and to turn away anyone who came after.

If zero stars were an option thats what it deserved. The receptionist was nice and friendly the only thing wrong was the doctor. My husband went to the bathroom and the doctor asked me if the white man was my husband. Hes not even white and if he was why does someones skin have to be in the description? She also didnt listen much to my medical issues. I had a surgery in June and she pressed down on the site and asked if it hurt and when I said yes she did an unnecessary clarification does it hurt or is it uncomfortable? It hurts. Now Im in worse condition that when I arrived and will be on my way to a hospital instead.

The staff here is AMAZING!!! Keisha is any patients dream!! So pleasant and very professional!! Eudene, youre the boss!!! And Dr. Zhang is more than a Dr. He is personally concerned about your health. I have chosen to make this office my primary!!!!!

It was a wonderful experience. They very informative and very helpful. They made it very comfortable for me to voice my issues and concerns.

Super long queue to get in. They didnt even let people in for asking a question and lock the door from inside. After waiting for 2.5 hours in freezing temperature outside, they told me they have no rapid PCR test, while over phone call they said they can have test result in a few hours. Even if I heard wrong, they can at least provide some basic information in the outside area while were waiting for hours!

This is my second time going to this place only because I can get my PCR results the next day. They say they open at 9 am but the dont. I went here in October, I was there from 8:40am and they did not come until 9:45am and I still had to wait on the doctor. I went there today Nov 11 from 8:58 am and I had been waiting there, In the rain, calling continuously no answer but yet another person who was waiting they answered her calls and they kept saying we open at 9am we waited until 10am no one came luckily a covid van that does testing came at 10:05 and setup and we were able to go. I left at 10:30 and they still were not open. Its bad. They need to change their hours.

After I register my info ahead of time. I got to the place and was on line for an hour, I the cold day. After they called me they told me that my insurance was out of network. And then the receptionist told me that it was going to coast me $89.00 to just do a regular COVID test. I was like what the fudge. I couldn’t believe that this private network is taking advantage of poor hard working people that’s trying to survive in getting tested for the COVID 19. To me this AG“Urgent care” is taking advantage of poor hard working people. So they can take the COVID 19 test. This is not right. That they should over charge and take advantage of the pandemic that’s going on world wide. I believe that this place should me under investigation my nyc health department.

The service was completely exceptional. The doctor that performed the test on me was thorough and nice. Explained everything to me and really help me understand how the process was going to go. Great staff and great location!

They took care of my son with such ease. The whole staff was A-1 in service for sure.

Hours on line says open a 9am. Worker shows up at 910 n only when Asked says open at 10. Did rapid n had to wait inside for results. This explains why people waited so long in the cold. Plus they only allowed 6 people at a time in. Talk about inefficient! Never again!

Just don’t go. I’m too tired to list all the bad. The owner needs to pay attention as come things are just unacceptable and downright probably illegal.But to give you a few reasons in case you’re stubborn. I’m waiting for the PA to get off a non emergent phone call and heard way foo much about other patients as she wouldn’t close the door or was talking too loudly.

I needed to get a covid test done for my toddler. I found this place by doing a Google search. Emily, thankyou for being amazing!! Sincerely. You saved me a day of not taking off work. You deserve a raise. Wearing several hats lastnight. Much appreciated.

Literally the worst. Came twice to get COVID test done. First time, we called them and they said to come in. We came in and they didn’t let us inside. Second time, we were ringing on the bell and they didn’t open the door and said nothing. We had to ring it a few times for them to give us a signal to wait.

Omg been waiting for over 4 hours in the cold to be Seen. The staff are moving like snails (Literally) to be quite honest... They never came outside to give an update. If I could have given zero stars I most certainly would have. THE WORST AG UGENT CARE IN QUEENS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THE COLD. SMH!!!

This is the most bad experience I was going with my son under fever to make a test and to the doctor see him and we waiting more than 9 hours on the line and after that they say they don’t cave the rapid test I do the other want but when they take a temperature my son was under fever and I tell I want the doctor see him the doctor was sleeping and say he can’t see my son before the results.. after 9 hours waiting I ask if we can use the bathroom they say was out of service too and when I was see the bathroom was good the personal is to nasty and they don’t interesting for nothing

Dr. Janet and staff were courteous and professional group. Process was quick and easy, with proper follow up education. would highly recommend.

Always a pleasure, great staff, and always pleasant to my family, and a plus we always feel better.And most of all better than going to ER.

This place has horrible service! I tried calling just to see if they accept my insurance! The rep picked up the call and hung up! Mind you I’m in excruciating pain and these people don’t have the decency to just to do something they’re being paid to do.. simply do not recommend this place.

Don’t get tested here . They never answer the phone. They don’t email result nor they upload the result in portal. Very bad customer service . They should just close down. If someone does their covid testing they should get rest via email or portal . All other urgent care does that .

Went for COVID test and waited almost 02 hours before called my name. People came after me they tested before me ,saw the sign in register that someone checked right next to my name. Horrible service.

Really bad service. Supposed to open at 10 am, people waiting outside before 9:30am with a freezing temperature of 18°, and the staff just came at 10:25am. No sorry, no apologies etc. Not fair. Dear staff, please be considered with the patients.

Disgusting front person. 9:36pm and theyre closed. We tried to call ahead and no answer. Then were told they dont treat children and to go to ER. You would think that info would be posted or on their automatic info. DISGUSTING.

Emergency care clinics are pretty busy places. However, this is the one place that can get my entire family through an emergency appointment in less than an hour.

This place was great to me I went last week and the doctor who is Christina menela was great she gave me right prescriptions to treat me . I am greatful for this place
