Kaitlin Hiner was the young lady that seen me today I cannot say enough positive things about this woman she was kind caring gentle understanding very thorough was able to give me the referral I needed that I couldnt get from my piece of crap OB. From the moment I walked through the door the gentleman at the counter the nurse that took my blood pressure and then the doctor were absolutely phenomenal

I would not recommend going here. The nurse practitioner I had Kaitlin Hiner was not professional and unnecessarily rough and made my condition worse. As I was asking questions she was trying not to laugh. I left there feeling completely violated with zero answers. I also havent seen metal claps like that in about 15 years. I will not be removing her name. Other woman should be aware of what type of person they are dealing with when they are in such a vulnerable state and position.

I thoroughly enjoy most of the staff that work here, but my doctor for my transition conveniently forgot my hemoglobin test. Ive been without testosterone for almost a month because of her.

Queer-friendly and trauma informed care! Ive never received this great healthcare in my entire life. Their scheduling is a lot easier to get into -- I scheduled my first ever appointment a week out compared to Sparrows 3+ weeks.Worst part is the protestors harassing low income people trying to receive healthcare.

The fact that you cant call the office to see when an appointment is is genuinely so unprofessional, i went through every button and you cant get through to a real person, cant log in to see when an appointment is? how am i supposed to remember an appointment i made 3 months ago and never got a reminder for?

Wait time was long (10am appt, didn’t get called back til 10:45am and didn’t get seen by doctor until 11:05) but the extremely friendly staff makes up for it! Everyone including the receptionist, employee who walked me to my room, and doctor were the sweetest. They are full of positive energy and definitely the right people for this job, especially Ashley. She made me feel incredibly comfortable, while also taking care of my issue quickly. Thank you Planned Parenthood!

The communication was respectful and exceptional. There was a bit of a wait, but our appointment duration was still within the estimate given and staff communicated throughout our wait so we knew what to expect and understood we were not forgotten. I was very impressed with the level of care that my partner received. It was a positive experience and I would recommend using their services. We have a primary care doctor and insurance and they made coordinating care and benefits easy.

Hands down the best medical office experience Ive ever had. From the front office throughout the entire process every single person I encountered was kind, non-judgmental, helpful and answered every single question. I wish I could go here for my primary care.

Services are always available on a sliding scale. Be ready for an hour+ wait for your appts regardless of why you are coming in. routine check up or pill appts vary due to preference in services but up from a 2/5 rating last year. Would give 4/5 but for the wait a -1 malice to rating

The wait times are about as predictable as any clinic - they actually were nice enough to call ahead this time and let me know they were running behind, and helped me reschedule painlessly. But the care is what keeps me coming back despite the unpredictability.These kinds of medical visits can be really upsetting for someone like me with PTSD. The two physicians I’ve seen were extremely kind and attentive, clearly trauma-informed, talked me through everything they were doing, and made it easy to ask questions. They manage to make the appointment go by quickly and calmly without feeling rushed at all. I have left every time feeling a little more relieved than the last. Highly recommend PP for anyone who might be feeling nervous for any reason.

A lot of the negative comments seem to be from pro lifers on here. The people who work at this location are extremely helpful and patient and work with you to figure out the best path forward for you. They were extremely kind and made an extremely welcoming environment and helped me figure out the best option for me as well as help me figure out finances. While I wasn’t able to complete my appointment here (there were some complications that required me to go to another clinic), they still did everything in their power to provide me with comfort, and educate me on every option I had so that I could make the best decision for me.

I made a appointment at this place 3 weeks in advance. When I get to this company for my appointment, I’m in the parking lot and call in to tell them in here they tell me they canceled it.I’m flabbergasted because I left work and made daycare arrangements to make my appointment. I asked why didn’t you call me if you needed to reschedule? Bonnie the girl that answered the phone claimed she did. I said well you must of called as I was on my way if you did at all. And if that’s the case why are you calling me right before the appointment why not sooner than that. I’m wasting gas,time, and money to come here. So I told her I wanted to make a complaints corporate about how this office constructs business here. Bonnie told me I would have to call back. I called back to be on the phone 30 minutes. When someone answer I told her the situation and she said she would connect me to corporate. She sent me straight to a Sure tell voice mail. No introduction message or anything so I’m not convinced it was the corporate office at all. Will not be returning. I advise people if your think about visit this place send your money somewhere more professional where you will be treated with courtesy and respect.

Besides the wait times (due to covid, so I understand) I dont understand these bad reviews. Autumn was so nice and sweet from the phone call, all the way to getting me checked out. She answered every question I had and printed out information sheets as well.NP Markstrom was just as nice and understanding, also answering my questions and hearing out all my concerns. She made me feel safe the whole time and talked me through everything she was doing.My experience here was absolutely amazing and I cant wait to go again.

Got my implant taken out here by Kaitlyn and she did an AMAZING job! Painless and she is such a great peoples person. Definitely recommend! All the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I LOVE planned parenthood and what they provide and stand for but absolutely not this location. I made an appointment months in advance and drove an hour just for them to tell me they wanted to charge me two grand, cash only for something that costs three hundred dollars at every other location I’ve called. It’s pretty sketchy to me and seems like they wanted some extra pocket change. I love planned parenthood but recommend going to another location if you can.

Havent been to this location in years but I went the other day just for a check up and I had a great experience. I called to make an appointment and I was able to get in within a couple days. The girls over the phone and in person were very helpful and friendly. The clinician who examed me was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend planned parenthood.

They were very slow. Waited 30 minutes after my appointment time, and another 30 in the room. The staff was very nice when i interacted with them but things were definitely running behind.

I will start off by saying I love Planned Parenthood but this location is absolutely awful. I made an appointment a couple weeks ago got there from driving 30 minutes and was told their systems was down so I had to reschedule. I made a new appointment days later went in today and was told I had to wait outside until I could be checked in it was 85° outside I waited outside for a hour and a half my appointment was at 2:15 I got called in at around four. When I got called in she took my temperature right away and told me I was above the temp they allowed. She waited not even a minute and took it again twice. Didn’t even let me cool down from being outside and told me I can’t be there all while arguing with the other nurse on staff about whether or not I could be re-tempt or I had to leave. They were very rude and unprofessional I went out of there in tears today as they made me felt so uncomfortable and just purely unprofessional. As I left they had about six other people sitting outside in 85° weather for who knows how long. If you can go anywhere else to another location I would suggest that this place is horrible.

I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about because I had a wonderful experience! The entire staff was super sweet and Caitlyn did an amazing job at keeping me comfortable while taking out my birth control implant! Highly recommend coming here!

The staff made me feel very welcomed and they were very cool! The wait times were a little long but honestly Im very satisfied with everyone there, they did so much for me and I couldnt thank them enough ❤️💕

Left my appointment in tears today! The nurse practitioner has HORRIBLE bedside manners. Long story short, I couldn’t get my 2 year old son to daycare today so I brought him along. The receptionist told me that for him to be in the exam room with me, he either had to be in a car seat or stroller. So, i went out to my car, lugged his big stroller in and patiently waited. Get back to the exam room (over an hour later) and the medical assistant got my vital signs and went through all of the questions with me. I have had the mirena birth control for a year, so I wanted to get it checked to ensure everything is still okay with it. The medical assistant was nice, but continued to insist that unless I’m having a problem, I don’t need it checked. Personally, having a foreign object in my body for over a year, I WANTED IT CHECKED for piece of mind. She said she would go check with the NP, and see if I needed the exam (without asking what I wanted). The MA comes back in and says the NP will in fact check it for peace of mind, and a few seconds later the NP finally pops her head in, looks at the MA (did not address me at all) and says “I won’t do a pelvic exam with that child in here”. Although I had him in his stroller, which is clearly the rule stated on the wall, she still refused to see me! So after waiting over 2 weeks for the appointment, and over an hour to be seen, i left not being examined and crying. I contacted the Michigan general office and she insisted that I reach out to the higher manager and agreed that the NP did not follow the rules. I will make the 40 minute drive to Jackson to ensure this joke of a healthcare provider NEVER touches me again.

Wonderful staff. So glad I can go to planned parenthood for my basic healthcare needs and barely have to pay anything as I am very poor. I don’t know what I would do without them. Never had a bad experience except for when they were getting used to new covid restrictions and it was a long wait, but that’s to be expected and if anyone is getting frustrated during this time just imagine how hard their jobs are. I’ll never say a bad word against this place.

Ive been going here since I was 16, and theyve always been very nice to me. Im 26(almost 27) and I still go here. Thank you for everything youve done for women like me!

Wonderful staff. Only waited 10 minutes to be seen. Online appointment scheduling is simple through their website. Cost of visit is discussed before seeing the physician.

Really compassionate and thoughtful staff all around! Best medical experience I have ever had and an otherwise painful procedure was done in a way that made me comfortable and informed.

Wait is to long had an appointment at 3:40pm I arrived at 3:00pm and they say they close at 5 but still a lobby full of ppl. I only came in to get stuck and leave . What is the purpose for an appointment when you still have to wait 2 hours in the lobby before been seen.

The staff is friendly, but the wait is usually rediculous. Even when you schedule an appointment. The great thing is they accept Medicaid and you can ususally be seen the same day you call.

Arrived with an appointment, still waited for an hour and a half. The staff seems nice enough, but this is truly ridiculous. I want to do the responsible thing and get tested for STDs but thats not gonna happen with a busy work schedule and appointments that dont mean anything.

The women here all made me feel so comfortable I went in to get my Nexplanon removed and didn’t feel a thing they even held my hand and gave me snacks afterwards and were super informative and professional

Everyone was very friendly and really nice 😊 They truly care about your well-being 💟 Its the only planned parenthood Ill be going to from now on 👍

Great first experience here for my wellness exam. Super friendly, professional and helpful staff.

I will not be coming to this location ever again. I got called back and waited over an hour and still was never seen. Their service is not good in any way. The Jackson location is much better.

Appointment was at 11:30 wanted a half and hour just go get in and there was nobody at the place. And on top of that we waited another hour and half just to get done with it

Terrible place, the energy, the vibes, truly sickening. These people don’t care about you, only the profit from causing you regrets later in life.

Im worried if this is a real planned Parenthood, or if this also has a hidin Christian agenda?

Literally just wanted a prescription for birth control, ended up waiting 2 hours and being charged 135 dollars
