Great staff, providers, and nurses. They have always been attentive, efficient, and respectful. Their specialty services staff are amazing. Be kind to them, they are pushed to their limits and are deserving of compassion and respect, as they have shown me time and time again.

Well! I gotta say everything has changed Ive been here 2 times and so far great services got there at 11 am and was attended in 30 minutes 😀

Its a place to go there for emergency dental and see quick walk-ins for the safe for security guards twice that kicked out all the homeless people out there hanging around on the street that wont come in

The rooms are dirty need to be cleaned every day and doesnt look like that happens

My mother went today, when she got there they told her she didn’t have an order for what she went in for. Then they told her she did, only for her to wait HOURS, they forgot about her and told her she didn’t have an order. The girls at front desk completely ignored her, made her feel like she didn’t know what she was talking about and made her cry. Only for one of them to look into it again and say she did in fact have an order. Not only did they make a patient cry, but possibly made a HIPPA violation with a mix up? Horrible.

I had wanted to change my doctors and location due feeling like I was receiving bad service up to this point . And when I made a review on here on the overall service/situations leading up to my review, it seems to have been taken down. Only time it has seemed that any of the doctors have taken me seriously is when Ive had to bring someone along with me. Im honestly at that point where I feel like I cant come and trust I wont have any issues getting to the bottom of my health concerns. Its even gotten to the point where Im hesitant about coming here for my mental health and seeing a therapist through them and to the point where I feel like I have to skip my appointments (and actually do) because of feeling like therell be an issue especially with my previous review..

I just called Altamed right now to get information as i’m trying to switch. The phone operator connected my call (her name was Keyla) i was on the phone for like 4 minutes waiting for her to answer me. Meanwhile she’s having a full on conversation with a coworker. She didn’t even mute herself or anything.

This place is a joke I had requested not to get seen by this DR. Amalu ever again because she did not treat me well and today I had my appt, and they put me with her again. Altamed does not care how patients feel it’s sad because now I have to go somewhere else and move my kids because I don’t feel like they respect what you want.

BE CAREFUL. 3 clown girls in the front are a danger to the community. They’re mixing up patients portals & would rather get AGGRESSIVE with patients (who are already dealing with a lot) & gaslight them, than to own up to their own huge mistake. These things can get a patient killed for incorrect diagnosis/tests/medicine, but they’d rather mix their feelings into their job. They act like it’s McDonald’s, where lack of consideration for what someone can be going through can be brushed off. These mistakes are dangerous & even more concerning when they have no concern for it.

This is a great medical group. I love this doctors office came here when i found out I was pregnant and loved the way I was always treated and they have great pediatricians. My daughter is now 2 years and 4 months this is the only place I will take her. I never have to wait long to see her doctor. All the staff is great. And if your pregnant they have great classes and nutritional programs to make sure you and your baby are healthy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This place is usually really good. Ive always been seen on time the one time I wasnt they apologized and were very helpful and got my son a snack since he was hungry (wed been in the room waiting to see someone for 45 minutes). Theyre awesome. The only complaint is that I went recently and was told to go to the Goodrich location (which is even better) they said I could get something done there that I couldnt. Other than that theyre awesome. They usually have cool water in the waiting area which is really cool

Please be careful of this place. Especially if you have elderly parents that are independent. They are always going for random test results that could have been told over the phone. It is a waste of time and always get random cholesterol/blood pressure meds that they dont need.I feel like this place cares more for quantity ($ insurance) over quality. My mother always asks for specialist approvals and takes forever to get through the phone lines just to speak to someone.Her doctors (Peñaloza) told her that she didnt have a uti. She got so sick thatWe ended up taking her to Huntington Hospital, where in Fact, her infection was in her blood and kidneys! Her doctor never called her to tell her that.Total rant, I know things need to change now that they need more assistance during their health visits. Look out for your parents. Keep up with their dr appointments

This place LOVES to waste peoples time. They have you going back and forth for nothing. The nurse at the front desk is super rude and inconsiderate. I dont understand why people like that get into the medical field if they arent kind. I sat there for a while and witnessed her being rude to elderly patients. No good morning or hello just yells at them like get out of this field if you arent here to help others especially the older generation.. ugh!!!!

The receptionist at front desk couldn’t of been an sweeter. She is always smiling and very professional. Every week I drop a floral arrangement to their location just to make their week a little happier. Ive been coming here for a while now. I like my Dr the thing I dont like is the fact it takes almost 2 hrs to get seen. If theres no rooms available, they pass you in only to withdraw blood and then your out the door again till they have a room available. Another thing, a family member went in for a psychical, their appointment was at 10:20am and got awe. Till 11:45am. Not only that they got a Dr who wasnt even assigned to them. At that moment they had to get seen by another Dr who could be available, make an appointment for but with another Dr. Three Dr changes!!! Ridiculous!!! They have to change things up in here.

I had a misdiagnosis by a doctor that can barely speak English. They told me it could potentially be extremely serious and simply sent me on my way with no additional detail on what to do about it. I became extremely anxious about a potential life threatening problem. I visited the ER of another hospital. It turns out there was nothing wrong with me. There is absolutely no parking. The closest appointment I managed to set up took 2 months. I will never return to this place ever again. There are plenty of better clinics and hospitals that you can visit for a checkup.

Ive been a patient there for years, after being under a specialist care at another facility, but after my beloved husband recommended me there, Ive been a patient since 2010. Dr. Maravic Bautista MD has been a professional beautiful excellent doctor to me. Shes a doctor that has a beautiful heart and. I feel like shes my therapist, a mentor and more. God bless her and the entire Altamed Medical Staff.

Worst medical group ever. They dismissed my mothers medical complaint by saying they didnt understand her. They had an interpreter on the call and she said my mother talked to fast. They recommended she send them an email. Needless to say she will no longer be a patient with them. My grandmother will also leave their care, well if you can call that care. Be very careful if your parents or grandparents are with Altamed.

I am a patient of this Alta med Medical Clinic for a few years. I am so grateful with my primary Dr. RICARDO PUERTAS, He is being taking care of my health and my condition for a few years already, and honestly until now, I can say only very good words to Dr.Puertas .Thank you Dr. For being professional, helpful, for taking the time with my health situation, and I like to say thanks to his team for doing a grate services.Especialy his nurse assistant MARÍA for doing a wonderful job. On my experience since I get into this medical clinic I feel comfortable,the place is very clean,the front desk assistants are doing a good job helping on my needs every time. I had been a few times without APPOINTMENT, with two or three DOCTORS in this place, and on my experience they did a very good care and very professionals. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ALTA MED MEDICAL CLINIC .

I love the health educator, she got me motivated and I lost 25 pounds with in 5 months. This place its great they are really trying to make it best experience. We just need to educate and disapline our self for in order to be healthy you need to eat healthy and exercise.

I did not like this place at all. I came as a new walking patient because I had a wound in my leg, the Dr. just came in and look at it and she said she was going to prescribe medication and left, I had a few question for her but I felt everything was in a rush. The Dr. left thinking an M/A was going to come and clean the wound. I was waiting for so long and since I work in the medical field I got up from the bed and I clean my own wound in the room. I got out of the room and the M/A that was attending me saw me and just told me to make an appointment after I finish the antibiotic. I never came back because I did not wanted to pay $35 copay for bad service.

So far I have had my senior mother enrolled since Nov of 2021 and it has been many excuses why they cant provide certain senoir services.BEWARE do not enroll into this healthplancant wait till open enrollment so I can get her out of the plan.

I scheduled an appointment 1 month in advance and they didn’t bring me in until 2 hours later, whats the point to schedule an appointment if they will not respect your time this is very unprofessional and not a business like. Very bad management across all aspects because no one is checking this issues, CMS should get involve for this irregularities and sanction for doing this.

Take too long! My appointment was at 12pm. I arrived 20 minutes early and Im still waiting after one hour and half! Its 1:15pm and the receptionist can only state the doctor has too many patients. Thats not my fault, that is why I scheduled an appointment!

Excellent staff! My kids and I get attended here and everytime we come in we receive good service. I came in today and was out pretty fast. My doctor at urgent care was doctor Luis Ontiveros wonderful doctor.

It was a pleasant effective day at Altamed. The day started with them gathering all information necessary to expedite medicine, enroll me with a doctors visit. Get a dentist appointment, a cab back home, a bottle of lube, moisturizer, a subway card and antibiotic. All in 7.5 hours🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Could have been faster but this is a government supported program for people living with HIV/AIDS. 5stars.

I was coming to urgent care for the first time here .I rushed to get here before 6pm. I got to urgent care at 5:34 pm exactly and security officer open the door to tell me that they are close, I told him but it say this place closes at 6pm. He said it is because we are over capacity already and he closed the door. I was able to see about 5 people in the waiting area. Never coming here again. & to top it off there is no parking only street parking

I would give this place 0 stars if i could. Waisted my time coming here for the most ignorant physical test I have ever gotten in my life. All they did was check my weight and blood pressure... NO URINE/ BLOOD test which is what I went for to check my health, instead they told me to book aside with another clinic for that. PLEASE FIND BETTER HEALTHCARE. Altamed is terrible

I did not know what to expect when i was going to get their. I went their early so they would attend me as soon as possible. The staff were nice and helpful. Nothing special about this place. The only negative thing about this place is the fact that it was busy and with a lot of patients waiting in the waiting room. A lot of children crying and screaming something not pleasant to be around.

Great doctors.Great service..May take time as a walk in but you will be seen that same day if its an emergency..Appointments are better n faster.Nurses n a friendly environment n Pharmacy is in same building

Doctor and staff don’t communicate with patients very well , nurses seem too be in a bad mood . Doctor said she prescribe me antibiotics too go to the pharmacy but there wasn’t even a order in for me . They never got back too me I left multiple messages and no response. Switch my insurance back to kaiser . Worst experience ever .

Doctors and everybody are always on a rush when they see you and have you wait a long time in the room they don’t really put attention on your needs and theres a-lot of mis communication between them

Very bad experience at this clinic today! I came in to get a callus on my foot checked and I left here traumatized. They said that my foot and my toes could be cut off. I will not be coming back here ever again.

Had to go on a Sunday and it was Memorial Day Weekend. There were not many places open. Lucky for me this place was. The staff was great, very helpful and understanding. From the front desk to the back office, there were great. Thank you.

This altamed is great but phone services sucks. Tried calling to cancel an appointment I had at 8 but I cant cancel cause there offices open at 8. They should have 24 hours services on the phone.

Ehh the doctors just rush when they see you and have you wait a long time in the room for just a prescription and to be seen to and I paid 45 for the visit I wasnt gunna put a bad reviews but I just found out I was missed diagnosed so yeah... unless you got money to spend and dont mind being seen by doctors who dont have experience then this is the place for you

I use to love Altamed I have been going since I was pregnant with my son which was 8 years ago...but they just lost me as a patient...after making me wait 2 months for an appointment for my son they cancel my appointment themselves and tell me I have to reschedule because the doctor wont be in...when I try to make a new appointment they tell me I have to wait another 2 months...I understand sometimes things happen and doctors have to reschedule but to expect me wait another 2 months, which would be 4 months all together from my first phone call, is ridiculous...this isnt the first time Ive been called to reschedule because a doctor wasnt in either this is about the 3rd time...I will be looking for a new doctors office...I dont recommend Altamed at all anymore

Dont go to this clinic... you make appointments 1 or 2 months in advance and whe a week before they calle you to say sorry dr has a emergency ... im waiting more than 1 months to get my kids physical just to make an excuse .. you ask to be seen sooner they tell you they dont have nothing squedual on the day you have available so you dont missed work... you will be desapiunted.. ... i recomend take your kids to the pico rivera altamed .. they have better persobal and nurses

Worse place ever.... The doctors I had seen are the worse you can imagine... I started go there for my check ups...I started getting bad headaches and for almost 2 months they had found I was pregnant..they even prescribe me medicineSi for migraine..thank god I didnt take it....they refered me to the ob doctor...everything was ok until we got to the time for the ultrasound ..the nurse brought the wrong expedient and they told me everything is fine...until I was walking out the doctor rush to me and tell me that my real expedient said my baby had a problem on the heart but to not worry like in two months we were going to do another ultrasound...I was in shock first you dont give the kind of response in the middle of the hallway and definitely I was not going to wait for two months...so she send me to the laboratory to do more exams...thank god it was nothing...the lady from the laboratory said she didnt see anything that my baby look completely fine....so I felt better then at the end getting close to my due date...I went for my check out and the doctor told me I was already 3 for dilatation but I was barely on week 33 so I told her what my baby is going to be premature(this was my second baby) I kinda had the idea my first baby when I was 3 dilated they send me to the hospital and my baby borned 3 hours later.....so I was worried I told her if I had to go to the hospital and she said no ...she said go home and relax and if you get pain then you go....so I went home and I wasnt getting any pain at all...but I was all worried about it so I decided to go to the hospital(the one they send me which was the memorial) then I explain everything they checked me and told me I was 3 and 1/2 but I should go home and wait for the pain...so I was in shock because I wasnt feeling anything pain at all....so I dont know why but I decided to get a second opinion and I went to Beverly hospital the one I had my first baby and for my surprise when the nurse checked me she told me I was barely 1/2 open for dilatation ..not even 1 ...I couldnt believe what I was hearing but it was more logic to me because I wasnt getting any pain...so I decided to have my baby there again...and my baby got until full term...he born at the week 40... So you can imagine my stressful experience...and thats not it...once my baby born they told me to see the pediatricianI at altamed because of all the record...so I decided to give them another chance...but baby got sick at 8 months of cough ..but I knew it was not normal so I took him in at 8:30 am and they told me the doctor could see him until 2pm wait is a baby I said ...I asked her for something sooner and she put me with another doctor...my mistake this doctor checked my baby and she said it nust a virus ...hes going to be ok...I was like are you sure...he seems very bad to me...she was like yeah its fine dont worry...so I wasnt sure but I couldnt do nothing more....that night my baby was worse and worse so I took him again to bervely hospital and they found my baby had pneumonia...whattttt... Thats dangerous.. I couldnt believe it..again my baby was in risk just because a stupid doctor didnt do right her job....is it to hard to know the difference of a virus to pneumonia?.. Really... Omg anywayI my conclusion if you go to this place and you feel something is not right dont wait to go and get a second opinion somewhere else ...this place is full of unprofessional doctors who dont do their job..forget about the wait thats not important what matters is our health and well be

THIS CLINIC SUCKS IT TAKES TWO MONTHS TO BOOK A APPOINTMENT, THERES NO PARKING AND DOCTORS AND NURSES DO NOT CARE ABOUT THERE PATIENTS. I CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT THIS CLINIC BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC AT ALL! THIS PLACE DOSENT EVEN DESERVE A STAR.

Long waits even with appt. No parking available for patients. Spend more time waiting to see the doctor and when you get in the room you wait some more... this place sucks.

Good physicians and PAs. On site pharmacy. They hook you up with healthy families or other medical insurance programs if needed

THE SERVICE THAT ALTAMED REPRESENTATIVES HAVE IS TERRIBLE. I TALKED TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY UNCLE AND THEY ASKED ME FOR ALL THE INFORMATION SO THAT IN THE END THEY TOLD ME THAT ONLY HE HAD TO CALL. THEY HAVE A NUMBER WITH SO MANY OPTIONS THAT IT IS SO DIFFICULT FOR A SENIOR TO UNDERSTAND. THE PERSON WHO ASSISTED ME WAS NAMED ANGEL PESIMO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ): A STAR IN MUCH....

I cant believe.I requested a physical exam for my daughter, and they tell me that they have no appointments and that I have to wait three months. Because they have too many patients, yes they have many patients; They should hire more staff.

The nurses are excellent and my Dr. Bautista much better.. she is the best Dr. I have had in many years.. just the appointments are a little difficult to get.. but the Lena cant wait 😀

Very bad and it is not the first time, I have been coming to this clinic for more than 20 years and for a year the service has been terrible, at least for me, they schedule appointments at one hour and they serve me after two or three hours, the receptionists are very arrogant as if they were the owners for all of us they grab their check

Today I was there for the first time!!! Everything was super good, the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean... The Doctors were very attentive... in a very short time they treated me very quickly..

I really like this clinic, especially my childrens pediatrician!! I have been with them for approximately 2 years and have no complaints.

Whenever I take them to my daughters, they never fear anything even if they have a fever and they dont give a prescription.
