Dr. Jeiran Lashai, DAOM, L.Ac., FABORM

Jeiran Lashai is the real deal. I’m a barber and work in my feet, using my hands, all day. I struggle to maintain good posture which results in aches and pains here and there. I also have wrist issues from working with scissors all day as well as lingering issues from playing sports in my youth. For reference, I’m 41 and male.I try to stay regular with my appointments but can’t always with my busy schedule. I’ll come to Jeiran with a whole laundry list of things hurting me and she’ll go to work right away and in my experience, the results happen right away and only get better over the next few days as the ache or pain subsides more and more.I used to have a deviated septum which inhibited my breathing. Jeiran would tell me that her work could help for a few days (which it did!) but ultimately I would need surgery (which I got and my nose actually works now) anyhow, she would work on my nose and by the time I left her office I could breathe out of both nostrils as if my nose was normal! Any time I’ve complained about my wrist, within 48 hours after seeing her my pain would be gone. Same goes for anything else I’ve limped into her office whining about. Most recently, she’s been working in my sciatica and after two sessions a couple weeks apart, I can feel the difference!If you’re thinking about seeing her but you not quite sure, trust me, it’s a no brainer. She knows her stuff, is always on time and is polite, funny, caring and kind. I encourage you to stop reading this review and book an appointment already!5 stars for service, cleanliness, location and parking (neighborhood parking so watch for signs etc it’s LA, you get it)

Dr. Lashai is a gifted healer who deeply cares about her patients. She is attuned to the subtle cues our bodies give and carefully adjusts each session to what we need at that time. She provides a warm and nonjudgmental experience where you know you are in the very best hands with someone who truly wants you to feel your best.

Dr. Lashai is hands down my go to healthcare practitioner for everything! If you have the opportunity to work with her you are extremely lucky. Dr. Lashai’s holistic approach to healthcare is the best I have ever experienced. She is thorough, straightforward and very clear in her recommendations and approach. She is an expert in her field and in putting together all the pieces to paint a clear picture of what is going on in your body so you can heal. Her knowledge of the body, healing herbs / supplements, eastern and western medicine and overall health and well-being is clear the moment you speak with her. I cannot recommend Dr. Lashai enough!

Dr. Lashai is more knowledgeable about women’s health than any western medical doctor I’ve ever encountered. She is well versed in bio medicine as well as in East Asian medicine. Her needling skills are unsurpassed and I trust her with any issues that come up: hormonal, mood, pain, digestive, you name it.

Dr. Lashai goes above and beyond for her patients. She’s always available to answer questions and she even made a house call once. I have referred her to friends and family on a few occasions and each time people write me with a thank you afterwards. She is extremely knowledgeable not simply about acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine but also about the larger medical community of Los Angeles. She is particularly adept at understanding how traditional Chinese medicine integrates with Western medicine and its courses of treatment.
